Biafra: Igbo Leaders Who Visited Buhari After Nkpor Massacre Are Traitors —IPOB

Tuesday, June 07, 2016

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB has described those who visited President Muhammadu Buhari in Aso Rock a day after combined security forces massacred its members who were praying and observing remembrance day for their fallen heroes at Nkpor, near Onitsha, Anambra state, as Igbo traitors.
IPOB, in a press statement signed by its Coordinators, Dr. Clifford Iroanya said they were surprised at the likes of those who rushed to Buhari and congratulated him for killing Biafrans on the fateful day and not to condemn his murderous act or to discuss the process of restoration of Biafra, adding, “it is now left for Biafrans to decide what to do with these traitors”.
Meanwhile, a South East Based Coalition of Human Rights Organizations, SBCHROs has said it is deeply worried that the Nigerian security forces and their political conspirators are dangerously pushing innocent and law-abiding members of key ethnic nationalities in Nigeria to the wall, forcing them to learn the hard way of preserving their ethnic identities and human existence.
SBCHROs warned that if these dangerous trends are checked, it can be dicey for the country, its peoples, West African sub-region, African Union and the United Nations, adding that the Nigerian killer-state entities under reference are also taking the country and its people to the path of social catastrophe with uprising and retaliatory justice as looming end product.
In a press statement entitled: “Igbo Heroes Day Massacre & Wicked Regime Falsehood: We Foresee Uprising & Retaliatory Justice,” by Emeka Umeagbalasi, the coalition declared: “The Muhammadu Buhari, Tukur Buratai, Solomon Arase and Willie Obiano of Nigeria’s present disastrous democracy and their killer-subordinates are steadily pushing Nigeria back to the Hobbesian era where life was brutish, short, nasty and disease prone; and where retaliatory and jungle justice and cannibalism were the order of the day.”
Meantime, the Directorate of State, Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Spain has described last week’s alleged killing of its members as premeditated and unwarranted.
In a statement by Head, Directorate of State, IPOB Spain, Mazi Uchenna Asiegbu, the group said “the massacre, the maiming and forceful displacement of unarmed peaceful people of Biafra on a day we were remembering the atrocious genocide of the same government is utterly unthinkable and absurd.”
It said the present government in Nigeria has indeed proven to be an undemocratic government, hiding under the cloak of democracy to perpetuate ponderous evil deeds on ordinary people.

“The account of what took place across the Biafra land that day is condemnable by any conscientious average person. It is expedient and expressly essential for the office of the Directorate of State, Indigenous People of Biafra, to state categorically that the acts so meted out on our kith and kin at home is nothing short of an apparently premeditated, unwarranted and extra-judicial killing of our people, men and women, young and old, even sparing the pregnant of this inhumanity was not the case.

“As if the killing was not enough, they went all out to fabricate all manner of allegations and accuse the IPOB of being violent. Their deed certainly cannot be justified, and it leaves many unanswered questions.

”They harassed and gruesomely murdered innocent citizens without sparing even the most vulnerable like the pregnant women.

All was executed to please the President of Nigeria and other Igbo haters and came out to defend their callous and unprofessional action with their outdated extant Rule of Engagement, RoE, given self-defense as claimed by the 82 Division Nigeria Army,” he said.

President Muhammadu Buhari has warned those agitating for the Republic of Biafra as well as Niger Delta militants who are destroying oil installations in the region.
Speaking at the State House in Abuja
Tuesday night at the breaking of fast dinner for members of the Federal Executive Council, Buhari asked Biafra agitators and the militants to reflect “very seriously” on the Civil War of 1967-1970 “where about two million Nigerians lost their lives.”
He said: “And at that time, as young military officers, you hardly heard of anything about petroleum or whatever money you got from it. Look at what Gen. Gowon said `To keep Nigeria one is a task that must be done’ and every soldier whether he has been to school or not knew what the general meant.
“But we were quarrelling with our brothers, we were not fighting an enemy and then somebody is saying that once again, he wants Biafra. I think this is because he was not born when there was Biafra. We have to reflect on the historical antecedents to appreciate what is before us now and what we intend to leave for our children and our grand children.”
President Buhari also said that “Leading the people is not a joke. It means accepting responsibilities for good or wrong.”
The president also stated that Nigeria needed a lot of prayers in view of the current economic and security challenge.
“We need a lot of prayers. Certainly, with the nation’s economy going down. We haven’t developed the agriculture, we’re still trying to talk on those who’ll come and develop the solid mineral for us,” he said. Buhari said Ramadan provides leaders the opportunity to be more conscious of their responsibilities to the citizens.
“It strengthens our resolve to build our country to make it stronger and to make sure that the incoming generations are sufficiently motivated to be patriotic. It’s no news that we are the biggest country in Africa, we’re the economy engine of Africa, which are true by the way. But, we must always be patriotic in our dealings with others.
“This month of prayers and service to God, let’s keep on these prayers all the times, believing that God in His infinite mercy will listen to our prayers, give us peace, security and better the economy once more so that we can quickly rebuild and even do more for the country.

Finally our Brother Okwudiri Obika, who was one of the Python dance victims has been laid to rest yesterday been 2nd of January 2018 at his home town in Umuezike Ozara In Oru West IMO State.
Okwudiri Obika was one of IPOB fearless and formidable family members who vowed that they will make sure that Biafra is restored. When he heard of the attack by the Military men who launched Operation Python dance with the aim of Eliminating Mazi Nnamdi Kanu (IPOB Leader) whose Whereaboutis still yet unknown after the military invasion last year.
this young man who is now lifeless left his business and family traveling from Igweocha to Umuahia on 14th September 2017 to Defend IPOB Leader, Unfortunately he paid with his life.
We The IPOB Family Members and her leadership has done and still doing every necessary things to make sure that our dead is buried. Our injured, detainees and those who need help must be taken care of. Because we practiced Onurube Nwanne Agbalaoso.
We say AYD to our dear brother and we promised that your death will not be in vain keep on fighting in the spiritual world whilst we make sure that your spirit is settled by Restoring Biafra which was the reason of your Death!.
Sleep on Fellow Comrade till we meet to path no more.
