ICC to Commence Probe Into IPOB And Others

ICC to Commence
Probe Into IPOB,
 Shiite Killings –
Femi Falana

International embarrassment is coming for the Nigerian government over its perceived refusal to prosecute those involved in extra-judicial killings in the country, leading rights lawyer, Femi Falana, disclosed on Sunday.
The International Criminal Court (ICC) has concluded arrangement, according to Falana, to take over the prosecutorial responsibility, starting with preliminary investigations into the alleged extra-judicial killings of members of the Shiites movement and the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
The deaths were mainly by the hands of agents of the Nigerian security community, while none had been prosecuted, despite several indictments.
Falana said: “Owing to the refusal of the Federal Government to act on these reports by prosecuting those who bear full responsibility for such egregious human rights infringements, the office of the Special Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court has concluded arrangements to open preliminary investigation into allegations of crimes against humanity concerning the extrajudicial killings of members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) and Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

“It is hoped that the Federal Government will not allow Nigeria to be exposed to international opprobrium for her unwillingness and inability to prosecute the indicted murder suspects.”

Falana, who fired a fresh salvo at the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, over rights issues in the country, tasked the Muhammadu Buhari administration on the prosecution of thousands of suspects allegedly detained by various security agencies without trial.

Globally and locally, the Federal Government has scored low on respect for fundamental human rights, constitutional freedom and obedience to court orders.

Moving from addressing the specificity of cases involving the former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki and media personality and politician, Omoyele Sowore, Falana stated that “In as much as the eventual release of Sowore and Dasuki is appreciated, it ought to be pointed out that this is a mere tip of the iceberg. If the Federal Government has genuinely decided to embrace the rule of law, it has to comply with all valid and subsisting court orders and respect the human rights of the Nigerian people.

“As a matter of urgency, the justice minister should direct the authorities of the Nigeria Police Force, Nigeria Correctional Service, State Security Service, armed forces, anti-graft agencies and other law enforcement agencies to either release or prosecute the thousands of criminal suspects including terror suspects that have been incarcerated for months without trial. The detaining authorities should also be prohibited from parading suspects and subjecting them to physical and mental torture in contravention of the provisions of section 2 of the Anti Torture Act, 2017.

“Furthermore, the council of the National Human Rights Commission, which was dissolved in 2015, should be reconstituted by the president on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice. In June last year, President Buhari directed the office of the Attorney-General, the Inspector General of Police and the National Human Rights Commission to carry out the reforms of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the police within three months. It is high time the directive was carried out.

“The Georgewill Judicial Commission of Inquiry, which investigated human rights abuse in the armed forces, submitted its report in February 2018. The Federal Government should issue a white paper on the report forthwith.

“The Garba Judicial Commission of Inquiry which investigated the military invasion of Zaria in December 2015 recommended the prosecution of the military officers who massacred 347 Shiites and buried their bodies in a mass grave. The indicted suspects should be charged with culpable homicide at the Kaduna State High Court without any further delay.”

Nnamdi Kanu Exposes Nigeria's Worst Enemies Those Behind Terrpsit

Nnamdi Kanu ‘exposes’
Nigeria’s Worst Enemies,

Those Sponsoring Terrorism

Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has alleged that the British government was the worst enemy of Nigeria and not those agitating for Biafra.

Kanu alleged that the British government and some people in Aso Rock were supporting terrorism in Nigeria.

In his live broadcast on Thursday, the IPOB leader claimed that the British sees “evil in Nigeria happening, see Satan and Lucifer in Aso Rock and keep quiet because it is in the interest of their neocolonialism act of empowering the almajiris they manipulate.”

According to Kanu: “The greatest enemy of Nigeria is British government and some if its nationals, they are the ones perpetrating, support and financing terrorism with the people occupying Aso Rock and deceiving Nigerians that they mean well for them.”

He alleged that all the actions and projects of the All Progress Congress, APC, government in Nigeria were geared towards the promotion of Islam.

Kanu alleged that APC projects were designed to make all the Nigeria States embrace Sharia law and empower the Fulani ethnic group.

He said, “When the Jihadist in Abuja wanted Sharia law they did not go to the National Assembly or call for referendum to bote to get it, rather the twelve Sharia States went outside the Constitution of Nigeria and agreed and introduced Sharia Law, but today they are asking us why we are agitating for Biafra and telling us to go through the appropriate channel when they did not go through appropriate channel to get Sharia they are practising today.

“Who in Nigeria today voted for Sharia Law to be practised in Nigerian Northern states today, is Sharia in Nigerian Constitution, they willingly subverted the Constitution of Nigeria and imposed Sharia on the Northern Nigerians.

“If they believe in the Constitution of Nigeria, they would not have introduced Sharia Law within Nigeria where the Constitution exist, so when they tell us not to agitate for Biafra, what is their moral right and justification for telling us that, Biafrans should ask them how they got Sharia being practised in the Nigeria Northern States anytime they kick against Biafra agitation.

“We should ask they which channel did they use to introduce and get Sharia Law being

practised in the twelve Northern States. You cannot tell us that one law operates for

people in the North while another operate for the people in the South under one

country that you said operate a Constitution.''

WARNING!
WARNING!!
WARNING!!!
As we knew they would, Britain in collaboration with Aso Rock have launched their counter offensive against Biafra activists with the help of some collaborators in Enugu and those they call academics from Yorubaland. Their game plan is to bribe hungry university lecturers and freelance journalists to provide the basis through which Aso Rock can hopefully weaken IPOB's international support base by deploying a series of well choreographed disinformation machinery through multiple channels like the Fulani sponsored Africa Check publication, the Yoruba run AFP Fact Check, Channels Television, BBC News Igbo and many other news sources dedicated to driving home the narrative that Biafrans should not be trusted.
Their plan is to discredit IPOB movement by subtly planting doubt in the minds of international observers through these sponsored fact-checks. If global policy analysts see IPOB as an untruthful organisation they will become dismissive of all the weighty evidence of atrocities perpetrated by the present Fulani cabal regime in Aso Rock presently before them. It is a simple but effective game plan. Discredit IPOB trustworthiness and in the process, discredit any claim they make regarding human rights abuses, Fulani Janjaweed violent Islamisation drive in the south, the terrible Fulani herdsmen terrorism and RUGA violent land grab initiative.
Let this notice serve as a serious warning to all IPOB family members and social media activists to refrain from republishing or circulation any unverified Biafra news report. We must remain conscious of the fact that such fake news are sponsored by Aso Rock and disemminated by e-rats in their payroll. Some of these people with fake Igbo names on social media are involved in the fabrication of such news thereby providing the basis for their counter narrative that IPOB is peddling fake news and should not be trusted by the international community. We must not allow them to succeed.
There is a new and concerted high level conspiracy this 2020 to undermine IPOB in the eyes of the internation community using what they hope could be seen as independent fact checking sources when in actual fact these publications and their supposedly expert contributors are paid unity begging Nigerian government agents masquerading as independent researchers.
IPOB have effectively destroyed the global image of Nigeria and Aso Rock. They are now fighting back and have decided to mount a concerted counter offensive this 2020. Their main approach is to discredit our successes and undermine world confidence in the accuracy of information IPOB provide. Biafrans must be aware these shameless 'freelance' Nigerian journalists (both Yoruba & Igbo) with connection to major news outlets like CNN, AFP, BBC etc are at the heart of this fact-check hoax designed to tarnish the international standing of IPOB. Biafrans must be very careful not to fall into the well sprung trap of these neo-colonislists and media agents of Jihadi terrorists intent on enslaving our people.
Do not share, distribute or approve any post with outlandish claims about Biafra restoration. The only legitimate platform for news disemmination regarding the activities of IPOB remains the one and only Radio Biafra. Biafrans must be vigilant as not to fall into the trap of the enemy.

- Nnamdi Kanu

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Thursday berated those asking IPOB to go through “appropriate channel” to secure Biafra, accusing them of being hypocrites.

Mazi Kanu also alleged that the twelve Northern States allegedly practicing Sharia Law have systematically and unlawfully removed themselves from Nigeria and its Constitution without the Nigerian government questioning their action, adding that Biafra agitation for self determination should equally not be questioned by Nigerian government and its people.
The IPOB leader in the last edition of the 2019 Radio Biafra broadcast and New Year Message alleged that British government is the greatest enemy of Nigeria as a country and Nigerian people, accusing them of supporting all manner of evils in favour of the people he described as “Almajiri Fulani” they allegedly easily manipulates.
The IPOB leaders also alleged that all the actions and projects of the All Progress Congress, APC, government in Nigeria are geared towards promotion of Islam, making all the Nigeria States embrace Sharia law and empowering the Fulani ethnic group in Nigeria with strong and committed British government support.
According to Mazi Kanu, “When the Jihadist in Abuja wanted Sharia law they did not go to the National Assembly or call for referendum to vote to get it, rather the twelve Sharia States went outside the Constitution of Nigeria and agreed and introduced Sharia Law, but today they are asking us why we are agitating for Biafra and telling us to go through the appropriate channel when they did not go through appropriate channel to get Sharia they are practicing today.”

Kanu who accused the British government as the worst enemy of Nigeria as a country and its people said, British government and some off its nationals see evil in Nigeria happening, see Satan and Lucifer in Aso Rock and keep quiet because it is in the interest of their neocolonialism act of empowering the almajiris they manipulates.
“The greatest enemy of Nigeria is British government and some if its nationals, they are the ones perpetrating, support and financing terrorism with the people occupying Aso Rock and deceiving Nigerians that they mean well for them.”
The IPOB leaders also regretted the treatment being meted against the people of Southern Kaduna, who are mostly Christians, by the Nasir El Rufai government, and blamed them their woe for wrongly believing that theh are hated by the Biafrans who he said are rather their saviours.
“The mistake the Southern Kadunas are making is that they think Biafrans hate them, but only Biafrans can save them,.no amount of peaceful resolution of intervention can save them because their Governor hate them and has confirmed that the state is divided between Muslims and Christian.
“The dichotomy that exist in Kaduna State between Muslims and Christians has never existed in any part of the country, El Rufai said his state is divided between Muslims and Christians and if it wax IPOB that said it, they will say we are stoking crisis.”
