On this week's edition of the FWFFA, we shall be discussing on the visit of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to the Biafra Fallen Heroes' Cenotaph Hill in Enugu immediately after his release.

CENOTAPH
This can be defined as a special structure or statue that is built to remind people of a dead person who is buried somewhere else; especially : a structure built to honor the people who were killed in a war.

Since the 17th century, the location of present-day Enugu has been inhabited by a section of the Igbo people; one of Enugu's neighbourhoods still retains the village's old name- Ogui.
In 1900, the Southern Nigeria Protectorate was established by the colonial administration of the British Empire. The discovery of coal by the colonialists led to the building of the Eastern Line railway to carry coal from the inland city to the port of Port Harcourt, a city created for this purpose, located 151 miles (243 km) south of what was called Enugwu Coal Camp. Enugwu was then renamed Enugu and developed as one of the few cities in West Africa created from European contact. By 1958 Enugu had over 8,000 coal miners. As of today, there are no significant coal mining activities left in the city.

Enugu became the capital of the then Eastern Region after Nigeria's independence in 1960; a succession of territorial adjustments in 1967, 1976 and 1991 led to Enugu becoming the capital of what is now Enugu State. On 30 May 1967, Enugu was declared the capital of the short-lived Republic of Biafra; for this, Enugu is known as the "capital of Igboland." After Enugu was captured by the Nigerian armed forces, the Biafran capital was moved to Umuahia.

CENOTAPH HILL was built in this glorious city by our survived warriors/fathers in remembering the Biafran heroes and heroines who lost their lives as a result of the pogroms, the holocaust of the civil war and the post-war killings.

NNAMDI KANU ON THE CENOTAPH
Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra and the Director of Radio Biafra London was held for over 15 months for voicing out to the world the insubordination, marginalization, wilful killings, and persecutions being melted on his people by the Nigeria-British government for over many years.

As God may have it, Nnamdi Kanu was finally released from the death dungeon of Muhammadu Buhari who vowed never to release him, although under a stringent conditions which among them restricts him from speaking/addressing/ granting interviews, just to enable them to concoct all manner of lies from the pit of hell against him and prevent him from defending himself and addressing the public. Nnamdi Kanu upon his arrival in Biafraland went straight to the ancestral cenotaph in Enugu to reaffirm his promise of restoring the land of Biafra even if it will require his life.

SIGNIFICANCE
Nnamdi Kanu in his prayers debunked all the flying junk news and articles credited to him by the workers of iniquity of Nigeria's Islamic party known as APC. Nnamdi Kanu went to communicate to God and his people through prayers. It is also a means of letting Biafrans and the general public know that our fallen heroes and heroines have not in any way been forgotten and there is need for everyone of us to obey and observe the upcoming May 30th Biafra heroes day which has been mapped out as a Sit At Home day in honour of our gallant warriors who paid the utmost sacrifice.

EFFECTS ON HARD-CORE BIAFRANS.
The visiting and offering of prayers of assurance to the living and the dead signifies that Nnamdi Kanu has chosen death over Nigeria state thereby, has no intention of backing out of this struggle nor exchanging it with anything other than Biafra restoration. In that effect, he has indirectly informed millions of his followers never to retreat or contemplate of surrendering, because the land of Biafra is undeniably going to be restored under our watch.

Biafrans and lovers of freedom who are into this struggle and wish to hear from our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu should always focus on his body language. It is only the wise one that will understand and agree with me that even the shoes Nnamdi Kanu wears talks.

Biafrans must beware of the evil tactics of the Nigeria government to frustrate Biafra restoration; we must continue until Biafra is fully restored.

Biafra: Why We Want Biafra And Not Restructuring Of Nigeria

Notable people keep questioning the Indigenous People of Biafra, what the essence of Biafra is and why we want her and not restructuring. I have tried severally to convince them that it is not a matter of wanting but having to restore the original right of ownership given naturally to us by Chukwu Okike Abiama.

Before the advent of the British, the Northern and Southern protectorate existed independently until Britain amalgamated these separate entities that is more or less "oil and water", a very bad combination that can never blend together. The evil empire out of greed and urge to serve their economic interest, not minding the negative impact of their actions went ahead to concoct what is today known as Nigeria.

Biafrans having being in slumber for too long, have been hit with great reawakening like a thunderbolt through Nnamdi Kanu’s eye opening enlightenment of her history. Therefore, we need Biafra because it is our identity and cannot be allowed to remain abducted for the continued exploitation and looting of her mineral resources by the British, Hausa-Fulanis and the Yorubas who are nothing but leeches and parasites.

while on the other hand, restructuring will continue to subject us to deprivation and limit our ability to take full control of our domain, resources and future. Biafra is our heritage and we have a right to dwell in her without oppression, invasion or extortion from strangers.

Biafra depicts our personality, cultural values and ways of life. She reveals our natural abilities, beliefs and common interests. How then can we not want to experience and enjoy the dividends God attributed to us as a people and settle for restructure which will still pave way for stealing of her wealth and destiny?

Who will be so foolish to remain in darkness when light abound from her foundation? Ignorantly, we have allowed ourselves to be cunningly abused and mistreated but now that enlightenment has come through, " it is better we search for the black goat in daylight."

The blood thirsty government is so archaic that it has spilled many innocent Biafran blood and still not satisfied. What makes you think that restructuring will stop the killing of Biafrans? Can anyone justify the essence of a union characterized with killing of unarmed masses by joint government military forces armed to the teeth in armoury?

Can anyone tell why terrorists and marauding murderers are granted amnesty with financial benefits? Is it justifiable for people of separate beliefs, cultures and traditions be enforced and enclaved into a contrasting contraption?

How beneficial is it for a particular region to claim ownership to rulership in a community of equals and of diverse nations? What is the essence of existing with hatred and greedy persons, whose sole aim is to loot your wealthy resources as booty and abandon you to penury?

Who can bear the pains of poverty amicably and with pride amid restructure? These and more are begging to be answered, and if no one can give a sincere answer to these questions, then the issue of restructure should be trashed into the bin.

Biafra is our heritage, it is our origin, it is our inheritance, it gives us our identity and therefore, we refuse to become a nonentity. As far as Nigeria is concerned, only her dismemberment into its original component parts will save Biafrans and her fellow occupants of the British estate called Nigeria.

A leaked Memo written to Nnamdi Kanu by a Biafran

My brother Nnamdi, we thank God for your freedom even as we note that the wrongs that led to your incarceration are yet to be removed, instead it’s even getting worse as your people’s tormentors are still remorseless and inexorable.

This memo therefore is another way of appreciating you for the huge sacrifice and to proffer some way forward to help you to possibly achieve your ultimate desire of having a Republic of Biafra out of Nigeria. First, I want you to have it noted in your mind that the race is not a 100-meter dash, but a long distance one that requires all the tacts and endurance to finish well.

As a political journalist of over three decades I have not come across you and so are many others because your name never rang any bell until late. Till last year you were probably only known in your small village of Isiama in Abia State.

Only during your incarceration did people realise that you are even a Prince, your father being the traditional ruler of your town. But today you are a household name not just in Biafra land and Nigeria but all over the media space even beyond Nigeria. For inadvertently sprouting yourself into this limelight credit goes to President of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari who declared you enemy and kept you away. But the essence of this memo is to help ensure that you manage this fame well so that the gains therein are not shattered on missteps and slipups.

When you got the calling to start this Biafra project you may never have envisaged the scope but by now you should have realised that the Nnamdi Kanu that established Biafra Radio about two years ago is not the same as the one that came out of Kuje Prison few weeks ago.

Prison is not just a detention camp but a school, and a special church where many have after sojourn turned prayer warriors and end up becoming an authority in the holy book depending on which religion they belong. We hear that you embraced Judaism in Prison hence the decision of Justice Binta Nyako to include in your bail conditions a Judaism worshipper ostensibly thinking that it would be difficult to get.

Nobody goes to prison and remains the same there after especially freedom fighters like you. Either your spirit is broken and you chicken out of the struggle or you are strengthened and are fired up. From all indications, yours is the later and understandably so because history is a witness that nobody fights for justice and turns back without result, either you are celebrating victory like Nelson Mandela or you are becoming political martyrs.

Even Mandela knew that those who survive to become President are fired up by the blood of martyrs who died in the struggle. This memo is primarily to warn you about politicians. They are group of people you must approach with your thinking cap permanently on.

As a prince who grew up in Obi Eze (King’s Palace), you must have been privy to the story of why the use of long spoon is recommended while dinning with the devil, it’s because when he comes for your hand he would only have the spoon to grab, but I tell you that for politicians even long spoon would not suffice so the best is to avoid totally any lure of dinning with them if you can.

I have watched some dancing around you by politicians claiming to identify and agree with your struggle, nothing can be farther from the truth. What you are seeing is just jostling to leverage on your current fame and once they get through, off they disappear.

Initially when you started the IPOB struggle none of them gave you any chance. Even as Biafra is in engraved in the hearts of every Igbo, they did not feel you are the right and appropriate person to bring it to this level of national and international attention.

President Buhari’s apparent snub of Ndigbo in his administration helped to build an army of distraught and disgruntled Igbo leaders. If Buhari had been tactical enough to accommodate some of them, they would not have been talking about you.

Again don’t make the mistake of thinking that your current popularity can be translated into electoral votes. Ndigbo have unique political behaviour that is very complex. In the Second Republic, the ruling defunct National Party of Nigeria (NPN) wanting to leverage on the popularity of the Biafra main hero Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu whom the government pardoned and brought home from exile coerced him into contesting for Senate in the old Anambra State.

Everybody predicted landslide victory for Ojukwu and NPN but a medical doctor, a former Commissioner for Health in the state, Dr. Edwin Onwudiwe of the defunct Nigeria Peoples Party (NPP) roundly defeated him. Even with the defeat, Ojukwu’s popularity among Ndigbo remained but he could not translate it to electoral success. May be you have some lessons to pick here.

My advice to you is to try and have an intellectual arm of IPOB to up your struggle by drawing up an operating template. Biafra cannot be gotten without going through what the law says unless through a war which both Nigeria and Biafra cannot afford again.

Every step of IPOB struggle must keep in view what the law says and put pressure towards achieving that. If Federal Government is to surprise you and call for referendum on Biafra now, you would discover that you are not ready; you would be shocked to learn that most IPOB members have no voter’s card.

Some IPOB members are deceiving themselves that they would vote out politicians not supporting them but as voter’s card revalidation is currently on-going and even underaged people are being registered in some parts of the country, Ndigbo are indifferent pursuing their businesses. My thinking is that if you want to continue keeping your head on your shoulder on this Biafra project you are to avoid like a plague political parties.

Once you drag your group into partisan politics you lose the struggle.

Biafra dream is to be realised in Nigeria not in Biafra, the fight should be outside Biafra not within. Once you enter the fray of partisan politics you drag the fight back and that would be the end. If you call rally, concentrate on Biafra project, on the injustice against the people that makes the struggle inevitable.

If you enter into vote for Mr A or B or for C or D party, you would discover yourself enmeshed in partisan politics. You should position yourself in such a way that all the political parties should be identifying with you because of the risk of going against you.

If you drag yourself out in such a way that some Igbo politicians start seeing you as an obstacle to their ambition, they would want to hack you down; they would ensure that you lose your focus. Perhaps your best bet is to work closely with the Ndigbo umbrella organisation, the Ohanaeze particularly now that its leadership is displaying some purposefulness and appear courageously ready and willing to take Igbo to the next level.

Not a few believe that the Biafra dream if not now later but must be realised. Nigeria is not moving in the direction of a nation in hunt for unity and progress. That perhaps explains why it is ranked the 13th least stable country in the world on the Fragile States Index (FSI), released by the Washington DCbased think-tank, Fund for Peace. In Africa, Nigeria is in the group of Somali and Sudan.

Therefore, to properly harness the people’s strong emotions on this project, a purposeful leadership must be inaugurated. My brother as I conclude this memo, may I remind you that history is a witness that no one makes a sacrifice for a people and regrets it.

In some struggles sometimes the prize is not worth the costs but in this case every price is worth the cost. Know it as a fact that Biafra is at the heart of every reasonable Igbo person. The road to our victory therefore must be as important as victory itself. Wish you well and God bless.

By Vincent Ujumadu Awka- THE Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, yesterday raised an alarm, alleging that it had gathered intelligence reports that security operatives were planning to unleash mayhem on its members on May 30 if they embarked on the commemoration of the fallen Biafran heroes and the 50th anniversary of declaration of Republic of Biafra by the late Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu. MASSOB leader, Comrade Uchenna Madu said in a statement in Awka that intelligence report by Biafra Intelligence Agency (BIA) showed that the highest command of Nigerian security agencies had given instruction to maim and kill members of the group for exercising their fundamental human rights, including our right to self-determination.

“We are crying out now and calling on the international human rights organization and the international community to be aware of the plans by the Nigerian State and come to our rescue and possibly stop Nigeria from committing acts of genocide against the people of Biafra on May 30,” he said. He, however, urged members of the group not to be intimidated or discouraged by the antics of external and internal blackmailers and overzealous Nigerian security agents, as they prepare for the May 30 event, assuring that in the usual manner, the anniversary celebration would be peaceful and non violence. Madu also said that MASSOB was compiling list of victims who lost their lives through extra judicial killings by Nigerian security operatives for the purpose of forwarding same to the international community and human rights organizations before the May 30,

According to him, MASSOB had demanded full investigation and immediate prosecution by the International Criminal Court, ICC, to bring to book the culprits and perpetrators of what he called the genocidal torture and murder visited on the non violence Biafran activists to serve as a deterrent to such act in future. Madu said further:

“MASSOB, with an eloquent and overwhelming evidence, wishes to bring the attention of the Nigerian State, the international human rights organizations and international community to the fact that we have compiled and currently creating a database of the comprehensive list of the victims of this extra-judicial torture and killings by the Nigerian security agents, as well as the names of the security agents who perpetrated this criminal acts against the non violence Biafran agitators. “The list will include the top security officials/commanders who led them and who gave the directives for the murders of these non violence and armless Biafran agitators.

“MASSOB will also forward the same list to the ICC for investigation and outright prosecution through our team of lawyers and prosecutors who have been engaged for the purpose of facilitating the case at the ICC. “We will never give up on this self-determination struggle until justice is guaranteed and victory achieved for the people of Biafra.”

Greetings from IPOB in Greece to all lovers of freedom arounf the World. Freedom is not cheap, it is expensive from whatever angle one may look at it. It is full of sacrifices and being prepared to make sacrifices is one of the prerequisites for engaging in a freedom struggle.

The World would bear witness to the sacrifices already given in the course of this movement; the quest for Biafra in Nigeria has in it’s own way taken the lives of over 20,000 Biafrans in the post war analysis, coupled with the pre-war estimate of over 6,000 lives and the actual war death toll of over 3.5 million Biafran lives.

The Nigeria Government and her allies; British, USSR, Egypt and the Arab league have taken from us in both pounds of flesh and of material, we were made destitute in our fatherland and the complicit silence of the United States of America shall also not be forgotten.

Biafrans in this evil establishment called Nigeria are still wallowing in abject disconnection from the rest of the World and in post taumatized state of mind from the effects of the war; yet the Government of Nigeria has shown no remorse for the carnage brought upon us. We know that one day our dreams will come through, for our outcry has reached the ears of Yahweh and He has seen reasons to liberate his children from the shackles of slavery.

Truly, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has proven to the entire planet earth, that he is a true leader, who loves his people with great passion. Many Nigerians thought that IPOB and her leadership would be like the ills of Ralph Uwazuruike who were treading on the blood of Biafrans, sacrificed on the evil alter of Nigeria. Not as they think of IPOB and her leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu! He is a man of resoluteness, upright of heart, integrity, wisdom and understanding, who has what it takes to liberate his people from the dungeon of death, Nigeria.

A man who knows what freedom is all about and has paid the most and ready to pay more for his people’s freedom. It is because of you and I, our born and unborn children, he was thrown into prison for a complete five hundred ans sixty-two days (562)l yet he stands firm; rejected every persuasive offer made by the Federal Government of Nigeria for the abandonment of the Biafra struggle.

At the beginning of the Biafran struggle, it got real tough.The people of negative mindset like Sanballat and his group started nailing Nnamdi Kanu on the cross. On October 14th, 2015, he was kidnapped in Lagos by the Nigeria DSS, the worse erupted out, where many are praying for him to die in Kuje Prsion, some South East Governors have vowed to eliminate his life, sabotaging the efforts of him and IPOB Families for Biafra restoration.

When they kidnapped Kanu in Tolis Hotel Ikeja Lagos, on 14th of october they decided to kill him secretly, then Uche Mefor-the Deputy Leader of IPOB mounted Radio Biafra, broadcastingtelling the whole world that the Nigerian Government kidnapped the Leader of IPOB, the Nigeria are denying, later all, they admitted that they got him arrested. Thanks to the Radio Biafra-the voice of the masses!

In many occasions, President of Nigeria and hie killer squads DSS, and Boko Haram he converted into Nigerian Army think deep down in them to poison and assassinate Kanu, but to all no avails, Our ChukwuOkikeahbiama vindicated the life of his son Nnamdị Kanu, for Yahweh told us in Psalms 105:14-15 “He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea he reproved kings for their sakes; saying, Touch not my annointed, and do my prophet no harm.’’ Kanu is a great Prophet indeed! In the total submission, resoluteness, and resilience, we the IPOB Family are moving forward with our beloved Leader of Mazi Nnamdị Kanụ. We stand boldly to declare that your arrest brings glory to our struggle, your arrest is the death warrant of Nigeria Federation and the death of our enemies. The death of all Biafran killed by the Nigeria Government will give us Biafra for their blood has a voice, crying to Yahweh Elohim.

Biafra: Saluting The Courage of Biafra Women-An Open Appreciation To Our Mothers Over What Happened In Abiriba

It is with heart full of gratitude and appreciation that we pour an endless encomium to our great mothers of repute in Biafra Land over the resilience they exhibited in Abiriba IPOB women conference where alien forces of terror called Nigeria Army assaulted, harassed, molested and eventually stripped them naked in front of onlookers. In as much as we are seriously embittered for setting our own eyes on the nakedness of our own mothers, which is the height of wickedness from Nigeria government and its janjaweed cum jihadist Army, we are saluting our mothers for standing against the alien forces of terror called Nigeria army even as they are under molestation.

May Nigeria government and its people never see peace again in the land until Nigeria dissolves into oblivion for commanding an uncircumcised blood sucking vampires to strip our mothers naked? We hereby drop the sword of war in Nigeria for sending evil men in uniform to come and behold the sacred naked bodies of our Biafra mothers. By the reason of this despicable evil act against our revered mothers, may the sit in Aso Rock be on fire in such a way that anyone who mounts it will go the mysterious way of the wicked tyrant.

Meanwhile, it is important to commend the resoluteness of our mothers who declared that there is no force on earth, in heaven above or beneath the earth-crust that will chase them out of Biafra Land which is our inheritance from our ancestors. We are happy that Biafra women repeated the resilience of Aba women riot of 1929 where Biafra women challenged the dreaded British voracious armed forces. We want to assure our mothers that we are solidly behind them as they continue in their lay down strategies for Biafra restoration. No force on earth should be able to shatter your dreams towards Biafra restoration. We want our mothers to know that history will remember the sacrifice which they have paid in this our journey to freedom. All your efforts, molestations and this enforced nakedness can never go in vain.

our advice to you people is to hold tenaciously to your continuous grassroots campaign, movements and mobilizations without the fear of the sons of petition in Nigeria Army. Biafrans are proud of you today because you people have shown that you are ready to die for your children.

In conclusion, no amount of verbal appreciation can equal the sacrifice which you people have continued to render. It is only posterity that can pay you people back on your efforts towards Biafra restoration. Biafra women have entered into the hall of fame in this journey of our freedom.

It is now or never for Biafra restoration we love you great women of Biafra.

IPOB WOMEN CONFERENCE DISRUPTION: CAN THE NIGERIAN ARMY GO NEAR THE AREWA WOMEN THIS WAY?

Today, the Nigerian Army once again has pushed Biafrans to the wall. The men of the Nigerian Armed Forces, commanded by President Muhammadu Buhari molested, beat, wounded and arrested many Biafran women who gathered for a conference at Abiriba, Abia State of Biafra land. This incident took place at the early hours of Friday 19th May, 2017 as the women who came from different parts of Biafra land gathered together for the conference. Abiriba is a town located near the popular Arochukwu and Ohafia in Biafra land.

As I am writing this report, hundreds of Biafran women are missing including a female journalist of Family Writers of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Ogochukwu Nnanna who went to cover the event for Family Writers Press. There is serious tension in the land at the moment. We are afraid that the Nigerian government through its army must have killed many of the women and taken their lifeless bodies away as they usually do when a situation like this arises. The Nigerian Army has once again attacked, humiliated and massacred our women for gathering peacefully for a conference at Abiriba. They went as far as stripping them naked. We want the whole world to know that the Nigerian government is pushing Biafrans to the wall. If the IPOB central command orders Biafran youths to fight back , Nigeria will be consumed because it will be "fire for fire, bone for bone, teeth for teeth and iron for iron".

It is important for the world to ask the Nigerian government what has the threat to security got to do with IPOB women conference which attracted the attention of the Armed Forces to quell? It is also pertinent to ask the Nigerian government and its army, if it were the Arewa women gathering , would they have ever tried to go near the place no matter what the women may be doing there?

We are however assuring Biafran women that we, the Biafran youths are solidly behind our mothers as they intensify their grassroots campaign towards Biafra restoration no matter what the Nigerian government does to them. I want our women to know that this development has geared towards testing their commitment towards Biafra restoration objective. What our women should bear in mind is that we are few days away from actualizing Biafra.

To the Nigerian Army, IPOB worldwide demand the immediate release of all the Biafran women missing as a result of the attacks and the arrests of hundreds of our women including Family Writers Press female correspondent who was among the women arrested. It is important to make the world know that in Biafra land, women especially wives and mothers are sacred beings before Chukwu Okike Abiama who is the God of Biafra. For uncircumcised aliens like Nigeria jihadist army to touch the sacred bodies of our women in the name of arrest is an abomination and unacceptable.

Now that they have desecrated our culture by assaulting our wives and mothers, it is an assault on every Biafran. The world should condemn impunity in Biafra land now or risk coming to West Africa to give relief materials to IDPs when Biafrans will no longer endure what is happening to them from the Nigerian government occupying their territory. As for our women who are still missing in their numbers, let all of them be released or the government should show us where the lifeless bodies of the hundreds of our women including Family Writers journalist are buried.

BIAFRA: THE MOLESTATION OF IPOB WOMEN IS FORBIDDEN IN OUR LAND

The unjust treatment being meted against Biafrans by the Nigerian government has now transcended to the women. The activities of the Nigerian military forces are such that need to be arrested before it causes an unprecedented uprising or the long awaited calamitous wind will blow no one any good. The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have showed a high level of civility and have maintained that the agitation for Biafra will remain peaceful.

The news filtering from the IPOB Women Conference in Abiriba, Abia State Biafra land which started on Thursday 18th May, 2017 is quite unpleasant. According to the news, the Nigerian military forces at the early hours of today 19th May, swooped on these women, started molesting and harassing them without any kind of provocation. This is as a result of the continued disruption of IPOB activities by the Nigerian government in a bid to scuttle the massive agitation that is sweeping every corners of Nigeria. These women only assembled to share views on how to help in the restoration of Biafra. These IPOB women are also peaceful and have not constituted or fomented any trouble around the vicinity to warrant an attack on them by the Nigerian murderous security agents. The peaceful nature or look of Biafra agitation should not be taken for granted, hence the consequences will be severe.

However, it is a taboo in Biafra land for a woman who is seen as a precious gift and a treasure to be maltreated by any man let alone a military officer no matter what offence she might have committed. Biafran women are virtuous, extraordinary and. Therefore, this reported attack on IPOB women legally exercising their God-given human rights to peaceful assembly will not be taken likely. Nigerian military should henceforth desist from further molestation of the IPOB women peacefully having their conference.

Furthermore, the Aba Women riot of 1929 should send an unmistakable signal to those trigger happy military men in khaki. The gallant Biafran women from Aba in 1929, revolted against the injustices being metted on Biafrans and held the Nigerian government at ransom of which until today history and posterity have not forgotten them. What will befall Nigeria if these generation of Biafran women take a drastic decision to ouster the men in this struggle and engage the government with all their might will be fatal and unprecedented. It seems that the Nigerian government has forgotten that part of our history maybe as a result of the abolition of history not just in schools but in all facet of Nigerian States. The calamitous wind that will blow in Nigeria if this abuse of IPOB women continues will be one that has not been experienced in any part of the world.

Be it as it may, the tail of a lion whether alive, asleep or dead should not be touched because it will devour the "being" that touched it. This illustration simply depicts that Biafra or IPOB women should not be touched because they will devour any "being" that tempers them. I am making bold to say that it is a sacrilege for the Nigerian military forces to molest or arrest IPOB women who are peacefully exercising their rights to peaceful assembly. Enough Is Enough.

Chukwuemeka Ejiofor, Aide-de-Camp (ADC) to Biafra founder, Colonel Odumegwu Ojukwu, has recalled incidents of the civil war.
At age 21, he voluntarily joined the Nigerian Army as an officer before defecting to the Biafran Army when the declaration was made in 1967.

In 1970, after the war, he developed psychological and emotional problems. His father died of stroke and by the time he came back from the north , he had lost everything. His mentor and relative, Staff Sergeant Sylvanus Ezekwu also died during the struggle.
In 2008, Ejiofor , now 71, was asked to return home by his people to be their traditional ruler in Oyofo in Ezeagu LGA, Enugu state.

In an interview with YNaija, he said “We were systematically massacred in 1966 . I was stationed in Lagos at that time and when it started, we had to escape at night to Enugu”.

“I feel sad. I was a victim of the Biafran war and you won’t believe it that after the war, for many years I suffered from what I call loss of memory. I lost my memory. I didn’t know all the things I had studied in college as the best student. It was very painful.

The ones you've voted what came out of it? We are in 21th century yet you don't have palatable water. Our infrastructure is as primitive as that of 19th century when compared with whites. There is no good hospitals for the populace but these ruthless and self-centered politicians will loot/exploit the whole money and travel abroad to treat themselves why we die of malaria that stopped existing in the western world in 19th century. There are no jobs any longer because all tangible industries in Biafra has gone rust.
Hey Come on...some guys (Biafrans) think they are wise but I must tell them that they are the cause that Biafrans are still killed, marginalised and backward till today despite our immense talent and education.
Because there are no jobs/industries these politicians use our youths as thugs/mercenaries to earn political relevance, sit or positions, while some (youths) die in the process. These After all these inhuman and despicable things politicians have done to us you still go voting. Are you not mad? They want their selves alive/healthy but they don't want you and me. But you are still credulous to believe that voting will liberate Biafrans. That is complete hallucinations/dementia!
We have tried Nigeria's voting/politics for past 50 years but still nothing to write home about. After studies some Biafrans go to north to look for job and won't be given despite being adept in the field. Some Biafrans has been slaughtered by hausafulanis in that north for no just reason. Prof. Soludo Bares It All: Buhari’s Lack of Education and No Ideas Crippled Nigeria Today {Must Read}

A former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Chukwuma Soludo, has stated that the poor economic ideas implemented by the present administration, is the reason Nigeria fell into recession.
He lamented that fixing the nation’s economy is not as difficult as the administration’s policy makers would want Nigerians to believe.
Soludo made the observation while presenting a paper at the 2017 International Conference of the Department of Business Administration, of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State.
The theme of the conference was “Managing a recessed economy; options for Nigeria.”
According to the renowned Economist, Nigeria began to witness economic downturn barely a year after President Muhammadu Buhari took over power, because the country’s policy makers were unable to rise to the challenge.
The recession, Soludo noted was avoidable had proactive steps been taken by the government in its early days.
“Poor ideas transcended over superior ideas, and we went into recession which was slightly avoidable. That is why academics must be alive to their responsibility of nudging us to reality; the reason I commend you for this international conference.
“Success and failure are all in the mind and only those who persist get to their destination.
“The recession Nigeria went into was largely avoidable and for things to change for the better, Nigeria cannot afford intellectual isolation because there is a need for exchange of ideas among intellectuals from various fields to put things right.
He continued, that “The Nigerian economy was growing because of the power of ideas of the people in charge. Instead of sustaining the growth, we drove the economy into this recession.
“For example, between 2010 and 2014, oil price was above $100 per barrel but we were unable to accumulate foreign reserve. When I took over as the CBN Governor, foreign reserve was about $10bn and we kept growing it on an annual basis as a deliberate policy such that it was over $45bn by the time I left.
“In 2010, I warned that if oil price went down to below $40 per barrel, most states would not be able to meet their obligations and that was exactly what happened. So, the problem was that we were not saving and we were even borrowing to implement recurrent expenditures.
“We were borrowing for consumption and for capital projects with the result that all the money we spent was borrowed at a time.
“When the oil price slumped, some people in government even felt that it was not going to last and continued their spending spree. Some also felt that the exchange rate could be fixed and some of us warned that doing so would result to high inflation.
“And when the problem manifested, a fire-fighting approach was adopted by the CBN which decided to give bailout to states. Because of these responses, the economy witnessed a shock and we thought we could reinvent economic theory and principle as a unique Nigerian approach.”
Soludo also subtly put in a word for resource control by the states, which he said should be allowed to take control of the mineral deposits in their states, and in turn pay taxes to the federal government.
The former CBN boss condemned a situation in which all tiers of government gather in Abuja to share allocations.
“We do not have to be running to Abuja for everything and that was why I was surprised when some people canvassed that local governments should be going to Abuja to take their allocations directly,” he noted.
He was however optimistic that the economic recovery plan recently launched by the Buhari administration would lead to recovery, especially as the elections are close at hand, and there would be pressure on government to perform.

There is an adage that the truth always shines like a moon and cannot be hidden.
A BBC news presenter by name Stephanie Hegarty reported how mazi Nnamdi Kanu founded the IPOB movement.

First, the indigenous people of Biafra is a nation fighting for the restoration of Biafra to her originality. Again IPOB is not a constituent of Igbo people alone rather she is a constituent of eleven (11) tribes: Efik, Ibibio, Idoma, Igbo, Igala, Igbanke, Ijaws, Itshekris, Kalabari, Okirika, etc that make up the nation of Biafra.

It is also noteworthy that IPOB is duly registered and certified in many countries of the world where she is found like USA, Russia, Spain, Germany to mention but a few. How can one call Biafra illegal movement?

The indigenous peoples of Biafra (IPOB) are not secessionist/separatist. Biafra has been in existence 5000 years before the creation of nigeria by one man, named Luguard in 1914, so you cannot say Biafra is seceding from Nigeria rather we want to restore Biafra, a nation that once existed. IPOB and Biafra restoration is not about protesting, neither is it about war but for the restoration of Biafra to its original nationhood.

BBC also reported that Nnamdi Kanu, called on "Biafrans to take up arms against the Nigerian state". Can BBC and Stephanie give evidence where any IPOB was caught in any of their rallies both in Biafraland and diaspora with any form of arm? It is on record that the Nigeria murderous security agents kill Biafrans constantly. The killing in Aba, Abia state, Nkpor in Anambra state, Igweocha (portharcourt) in Rivers state and other places of rallies are just examples. The various videos available online and on demand are evidence and the people are there to testify.

when Nnamdi kanu said and I quote (I will destroy Nigeria with THE TRUTH), the Nigerian government and their British slave masters thought he will bring bombs to fight Nigeria. A man of his words, Nnamdi Kanu destroyed Nigeria with the weapon that never fails, TRUTH.

In order to contain and keep Nnamdi Kanu quite, the nigerian government kidnapped him, leveled bogus and spurious charges against him. According to his lawyer Barr.Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the charges against Nnamdi Kanu are "frivolous" they were concocted to ensure his detention. These are smoke-screen charges that will not see the light of the day".

BBC as an international media organization must investigate and be objective in their reportage.

IPOB: There Will Be No more elections, Kanu Vows

Nnamdi Kanu, Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), warned on Wednesday that the governorship election in Anambra may not hold if the Federal Government fails to recognise the Republic of Biafra.

He also said his members and other eligible voters in Anambra State would boycott the state gubernatorial election slated for November if the Federal Government fails to hold a referendum before the election.

Kanu, who spoke at his father’s palace in Afara Ukwu Ibeku, Umuahia, Abia State, added that people of South East and other under the old Eastern Region would not participate in the 2019 general election if the government ignores the demand for a referendum.
He also faulted his exclusion from the ongoing stakeholders meeting in Aso Rock, saying he would not relent in his agitation for Biafra.

The IPOB leader said: “Nigerian government should build as many prisons as possible to jail all Biafrans because there is no going back and we are ready to go there (prisons) unless the Federal Government gives us Biafra.
“We are starting with Anambra come November this year. There will be no governorship election in Anambra State. In 2019, the whole of Biafra land will not vote for any president. There will be no senator, there will be no House of Reps, there will be no House of Assembly and there will be no councillorship elections in Biafra land if they (Federal Government) fail to call for a referendum.”

He urged his members to remain steadfast and calm as Biafra remains their only hope.
“We are not like any other people. People like us don’t come twice. That’s why I know that with the last breath in this very body that Biafra will be restored. There’s nothing anybody can do about it. Tell them that’s what I said. Nobody on this earth can stop Biafra,” he added.

TO THOSE WHO THREATEN TO JAIL BIAFRANS

A man called Nnamdi Kanu and his movement called the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) single-handedly brings the whole of the south-east of our country to a standstill with his one day "stay at home order" and someone in the Presidency says they don't consider him to be a leader of thought? Clearly the Villa curse has set in.

Delusion is a terrible affliction and treating those that have won the hearts and minds of millions of Igbo youth in our country with contempt and disdain will prove to be a costly mistake for the Buhari administration.

This is all the more so because those that are expressing their desire and agitating for Biafra have broken no law. They have not killed or threatened to kill anyone, they are not waging war on the Nigerian state, they are not involved in any form of rebellion and they are not undertaking an armed struggle.

They are simply exercising their inalienable and undeniable constitutional right of free speech, freedom of association and self-determination and they are doing so in a peaceful and passive manner.

These rights are not only sacred but they are also guaranteed and protected by international law and custom. Consequently the threat, by Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, to send those that exercise those rights to jail is not only an exercise in futility but also provocative and unacceptable.

The truth is that their grievances and aspirations are legitimate and lawful and so are the grievances and aspirations of all other self-determination groups in the country such as those in the south-west that believe in the establishment of the Republic of Oduduwa.

I strongly advise the Acting President to manage this matter very carefully and to stop trying to please or cow-tow to the cabal that have encircled him.

Osinbajo ought to know that even if he jails and kills every Biafran in the country others will rise up and carry on the fight. He cannot succesfully intimidate or threaten a growing movement and philosophy with words and threats. Matters have gone far beyond that now.

He cannot keep Nigeria together with violence or threats of violence. He can only keep her together by the constant expression of love and the regular repetition of regrets for past actions and injustices.

The operators of the Nigerian state cannot strip a man bare, take everything away from him, including his dignity, brutalise him morning, day and night and still expect him to keep quiet.

Whether anyone likes to admit it or not the truth is that Biafra is a reality. It is a spirit that has captured the hearts and minds of millions of young Igbo people: it burns in their souls and has ignited their passions.

It is an idea and concept that has also kindled the imagination and dreams of millions of southerners and Middle Belters who have come to appreciate the fact that there is a credible alternative to the nebulous and unjust status quo and the shattered dreams, cruelty and bondage that the Nigerian state continuosly throws up and offers.

Those in power today must live with this new reality and pray hard that these young men and women have a change of heart. Other than that they cannot stop Biafra and, when the time comes, neither will they be in a position to stop Oduduwa.

Finally this point has to be made. It is a mistake to equate the lawful and legitimate aspiration and agitation for Biafra with the unlawful and illegitimate quit notice and threat given to the Igbo people to leave the north by the Arewa youths.

The former is the peaceful exercise of ones God-given and constitutionally-guaranteed freewill to determine ones own fate, future and destiny whilst the latter is the unlawful and violent imposition of the will of one people against another through the use of violence and threats.

The former is a righteous, wholesome and noble quest whilst the latter is nothing but wickedness, tyranny and witchcraft.

Simply put the brazen threat and quit notice given to the Igbos in the north by the Arewa Youths is manifestly unlawful, immoral, dangerous and irresponsible whilst the expression for the establishment and creation of the sovereign State of Biafra is not only lawful but also legitimate and desirable for those who believe in it.

The two cannot be comapared and neither can it be logically argued or inferred that one led to the other.

Permit me to conclude this contribution with an aside.

I have the greatest respect for Pastor Tunde Bakare and he knows how much I love him. However he is in grave error when he compares Buhari to King David as has been reported.

David was an annointed servant of the Living God and a member of the Kingdom of light.

Buhari is an annointed servant of the devil and, like Pharaoh and Herod, he is a member of the Kingdom of Darkness.

Bakare is also wrong when he says that Buhari is "on the path to recovery" and that he will return to lead the nation. This is false.

Buhari has been rejected by the Lord and he is suffering the judgement of God for his injustice and wickedness to others.

He is not on the road to recovery, I fear that he is in a vegetative state if not already dead and he will not be coming back to lead the nation. Sadly that is the position and the sooner we learn to accept that fact the better it is for us all.

As fawning and weak as Osinbajo is, as a Southerner and a believer, he needs our support and encouragement and not subtle condemnations and discouraging words from his fellow Pastors.

I’ll Not Stop Until I Destroy Nigeria – Nnamdi Kanu Roars

Leader of secessionist group Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu has once again reiterated that no governorship election will be held in Anambra state come November 18th, 2017.

Kanu also threatened not to stop his activities until he finally destroys Nigeria.

The Radio Biafra Director who spoke all through in Igbo language made this statement Thursday while addressing the Igbo youths who gathered at his residence in Isiama Afaraukwu Ibeku, Umuahia, the capital of Abia state.

In his words: “We’ll never stop until Biafra is actualized. I will never stop until Nigeria is completely destroyed”.

“We are sent to restore Biafra and there is nothing anybody can do about it”.

How to permanently end Biafran agitation

A Yoruba friend asked me: Under what conditions would you support "One Nigeria" and let go of the Biafra agitation and let it die down and finally laid to rest for good?

Here was my response:
1. Close down Lagos ports and open up PH, Calabar, Onitsha and Warri ports.

2. Cancel all direct and major connecting flights to Lagos and Abuja airports only local connecting flights will be allowed. While this is being done, open up Enugu, Calabar, Owerri, Asaba, Uyo and PH to international flights direct and major connecting flights.

3. Ask all international and diplomatic missions to move their embassies and consulates from Lagos, Kano and Abuja to Enugu, PH and Calabar.

4. All federal governments’ agencies in Lagos and Abuja shall be relocated to Enugu, PH and Calabar. CBN, NNPC, e.t.c shall and must relocate to PH, Calabar and Enugu.

5. All multinational companies in Lagos and Abuja, shall and must relocate their offices to PH, Calabar and Enugu.

6.All oil companies must relocate their head offices to PH, as the oil capital of Nigeria.

7. Let the northern children gain admission into federal schools with 300 score points while the South Eastern Children should gain admission with only 20 score points .

8. Let all federal road projects in the North/SW should be handled by one local companies and the one in the SE/SS should be handled by Julius Berger and foreign construction companies.

If these conditions can be fulfilled and implemented for 50years , we can try one Nigeria and let see if you the North and SW will like it for a month. Meaning that Yorubas and Hausas needing to get international visas shall travel to PH, Calabar or Enugu to do that. Same with flying or connecting flights, same with shipping and importing their goods, etc etc.

The Yoruba friend replied: You can’t be serious, this is wickedness and I said... Really? Don’t you think South South and South. Eastern part of Nigeria have been suffering and enduring this very same wickedness for over 50 yrs?

He was quiet for a few seconds and said: Wow, you are right but it never occurred to me.

I said, that’s the problem with One Nigeria, those who are benefiting from it, love it and would love to maintain the status quo. Let each region develop at her own pace, with Airport, Seaports, industries, major projects open to be developed in any part of Nigeria without government interference or strangulation due to tribalism and nepotism!

Let Nigeria be fair to ALL irrespective of tribe, religion, and place of birth. Let there be true federalism and resources control, with the elimination of quota system and federal character in Nigeria. Let's have equal respect for one another irrespective of where the person is coming from in Nigeria. That is what Biafra agitation is all about.

Obasanjo Allegedly Calls For Nnamdi Kanu’s Assassination…IPOB Explodes

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has alleged that former president Olusegun Obasanjo wants its leader Nnamdi Kanu assassinated.

The group quoting an online news website said the former president during a speech at the launch of the biography of Brigadier Maimalari called for Kanu’s assassination.

In a statement signed by its Head of Directorate of State, Chika Edoziem, which was sent to ORIENTAL TIMES, IPOB called on the international community to take note of the development adding that the former president should be held account if anything happens to Kanu.

The statement read: “It has come to the attention of the Directorate of State of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) that a news report which appeared on the daily post news online on 4th of July 2017 written by one Chijioke Jannah calls for the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to be assassinated.

“According to the report the former president Olusegun Obasanjo while speaking on Tuesday at the International Community Centre, Abuja during the launch of the biography of late Brigadier Zakariya Maimalari called for the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra Nnamdi Kanu to be stopped by all means.

“The International Community is put on notice that former president Olusegun Obasanjo is calling for the assassination of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra Nnamdi Kanu. This call epitomizes the sorry state of the intellectual aptitude of those that like to be addresses as leaders in

. Because they lack superior reasoning to counter or persuade the Biafran people to give up their fundamental and inalienable right to Self-Determination, they resort to violence.

One quick way of unlocking the economy of South East is through marine business. Contrary to the impression that the South East is landlocked, the truth is that it has one of the potentially deepest seaports in the country at Osemoto/Oseokwa in Imo and Anambra States.

A seaport was designated there in 1959, but the project was abandoned and the admiralty member erased for obvious political reasons. African Development Bank (ADB) feasibility report on this is unambiguous. Oseokwa (Ihiala LGA, Anambra State) and Osemoto (Oguta LGA, Imo State) are the deepest natural harbor in the country (over 20m deep) and offer real naval and marine transportation platforms if developed. Besides, it lies only 18 nautical miles to the Atlantic Ocean and a strategic hub for the oil industry and inland dry-docks to promote trade.

This potential seaport has the capacity of handling over 35 per cent of marine business in Nigeria. If Ndigbo pursue and complete the seaport, it will also open up over 3,000 square kilometers of the most fertile agricultural land that has one of the highest alluvial deposits which has been in existence for well over a million years. This deep seaport will create over two million jobs, directly and indirectly, in marine business, oil and gas, power, education, housing, agro-food industry, entertainment, tourism, etc. With that type of setting, Igbo youths will have no need to crisscross the country in search of jobs and in the process endangering their young lives.

THE 1914 ALMAGAMATION; THE BANE OF OUR EXISTENCE.

That Nigeria is not a nation is a fact which can only be disputed by a man with a very confused and lopsided understanding of the term 'Nation' or one who lies for a living.

What happened in 1914 was a monumental mistake of a historic proportion.

The amalgamation of the North and Southern part of Nigeria by the British thugs was SOLELY for economic and administrative convenience. Nothing more. The compatibility, security and welbeing of the people being forced into this demonic union was never taken into consideration because it's beyond argument that the hausa/fulani Arewa Muslim North has ABSOLUTELY nothing in common with the mainly Christian South.

What Britain did with the North and South in 1914 was like a man who goes to the market to buy Jackals, Hyenas, lions and tigers on one hand and goats, cows and horses on the other hand but in order to take those animals home without spending extra money buying two cage for them and paying extra transport fare for the spaces those two cages will occupy, he decides to put those animals all in the same cage.

Here, even Ikenga, my 2 day old son, can effortlessly tell that for this man, all that matters to him is anything but the safety of those animals.

The first group of animals are carnivores, which means they feed on other animals. And they do this in the most vicious manner by disallowing their victims the dignity of death before devouring them. This does not make those animals bad. It is simply their natural way of feeding. And paradoxically funny enough, the second group of animals which feeds on herbs (herbivores) is the same animals the first group (Carnivores) feed on.

This man (Britain) is not unaware of this fact. But he knew that no matter how much the Carnivores try, they cannot eat all the herbivores in that cage. Some will still remain alive till he gets home, seeing as the animals there are so many. And because the safety of those animals are the least of his worries, he goes ahead to put them all in the same Cage.

But,

This is not really the problem. The biggest problem here is that number-less years after this moral tragedy took place and at a time when this "Mr Jones" has technically handed over the management of this Animal Farm to the "Jackals and Hyenas", some 'privileged' members of the Herbivorous animals who happen to have managed to fix themselves as servants in the kitchen and dinning rooms where these Carnivores feed on their fellow herbivores, are now in the forefront of peddling a very misleading narrative that there is a way this Animal Kingdom can be Re-structured in such a way that both the flesh-eating Jackals, Hyenas and Tigers can co-habit with those naturally easy-going herb-eating goats, cows and horses.

How many street demonstration or rallies have these privileged Herbivores organized to publicly let these Carnivores know that they are serious about re-organising the entire structure of this Animal world??

Have they itemized in clear practical terms, a time-bound route to the kind of Restructuring they want??

Do they even have a clear understanding of the kind of restructuring that will restrict the "Jackals and Hyenas" to a distinct habitat where they can only devour themselves whenever their vampiric spirit become enraged at the news of the drawing of some cartoon in another planet, while the goats, cows and horses will be minding their own grass-eating business in their own habitat even if they will still remain in the same Animal Kingdom??

How do these privileged Herbivores intend to get their masters, the Carnivores, to drop their natural setting of using their fellow animals to quench hunger???? How do they even plan to get those Carnivores to allow for the re-arrangement of this Animal planet?

How???

They have refused to tell anyone. All they do is mouth off Re-structuring as though it was some new addition to the vocabulary in the Zee World.

Meanwhile, criminally funny enough, these same few privileged Herbivores and some misguided "weaker animals" from every section of the Animal Farm are very angry and full of rage. But here is the shocker:

Their rage is not directed at the "Jackals and Hyenas" monopolizing the entire resources of the animal kingdom and even feeding on those animals and still opposing any form of re-arrangement of the animal kingdom. Their hate-induced anger is directed at a section of the Herbivorous animals from a part of the animal world who are agitating for a total separation from the "Jackals and Hyenas". Even the peaceful call for a referendum being championed by these aggrieved Herbivores has been devilishly twisted and misinterpreted as a call for war by these dishonest satanic-minded lots.

As it is, the head of this Carnivores has been confirmed too sick to even lead himself. And his fellow "Jackals and Hyenas" have sworn to let themselves be consumed by worm before allowing a herbivorous animal who is the deputy to this medically incapacitated "lion king" take over.

But even in the face of all these grave injustices, some of these privileged misguided herbivores still think their herbivorous brethren who are agitating for a separate state far removed from this cannibalistic jungle, are the problem.

To address the grievances of these secessionist herbivores, they offer no alternative.
They offer no assurances.

All they are armed with are empty rhetorics laced with arrogance with some element of blackmail.

This, right here, is the singular biggest irony of the tragedy of the sham that is Nigeria.

Here, we have children and adults who have lied to themselves for far too long that they have now come to accept their lies as though they were the gospel truth.

And how can a man seek the truth if he is yet oblivious of the fact that that which he know as the truth is no truth at all??

Indeed, it is far easier to fool a man than to convince him that he's been fooled. I would say I find Nigeria criminally funny in a criminal kind of manner except I would only be stating the obvious.

It is indeed a very sad day when elders sit back and allow the she-goat suffer the pains of paturition in tethers.

It grieves me beyond word that Britain had to play Russian roulette with our lives in this bestial manner but it grieves me even more that years after we've all realised this to be one of the worst mistakes in world history, we are yet to collectively correct this grave error.

SELF-DETERMINISM IS NOT POLITICS

WHERE PEOPLE SPEAK FOR OTHERS

I am moved this morning to react to an observation that manifests apparent MISCONCEPTION and the ploy to deceive people. Representation of a people by some in the call for self-determinism must be by COLLECTIVE CONSENT. Any group of people that claim they speak for the generality of people on the basis of preestablished roles as elders, youth leaders etc is ULTRA VIRES and null and void. Let me expatiate below.

Accord respect to a chief and elder in your social milieu, but the chief/elder should know that he overreaches himself when he operates in ways that paint the picture that he THINKS and DECIDES for you. This information is vital and necessary, considering what has become en vogue since the resurrection of a seemingly dead AGITATION. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the Director of IPOB worldwide, has struck a cord in us, a cord that has excited the docile SUPERMAN in us. Today, the common man, once a nobody, is now the reason GOVERNORS MEET, ELDERS AND OPINION LEADERS MEET, TRADITIONAL RULERS MEET etc.

We love the pervading PANIC that has characterized the entire country, especially the East and Niger Delta. However, we must say it loud to these so-called elders, chiefs, and governors that they do not have any right whatsoever to speak for us! If they were truly useful, would we be where we are? Maybe we should ask our so-called elders, elected representatives, and traditional leaders some pertinent questions.

1) Where have they been all this while?

2) How many of them spoke up when innocent lives were being cut short by the nozzles and barrels of the khaki in 2015 and 2016?

3) If they were less concerned about the loss of lives, why can't they be less concerned about our agitation?

4) If they REPRESENT and SPEAK for us, how come their own RESOLUTION is against ours? Are they not suppose to be our VOICE? Or is there something they are not telling us?

5) Our governors should tell us why the mandate we gave to them at the POLL is the same they are exercising in contradistinction to our WILL. Why?

6) Why do governors speak only when the clamour of a people shows clear potentiality to affect the POWER and WEALTH they criminally enjoy?

7) Who exactly do these self-made and self-styled elders and the elected governors in the East and Niger Delta speak for? Is it US or their selfishness and greed?

Let me make this as clear as crystal. No governor, no elder, no chief has the RIGHT to tell any adult human how to exercise his right. Our right is our HUMANITY, for man is rights writ large. These leaders can make laws and adjudicate on civil and political matters, but they overreach themselves whenever they try to tell us what we should do with our rights. Self-determinism is not politics, since it is given birth to by a vivacious personal, not influenced, CONVICTION. Every attempt by our elders, chiefs, and governors to politicise the agitation will hit the rock because their MONUMENTAL FAILURE itself necessitated the agitation.

Our dear elders and political leaders should have the heart to see the new development as a REFLECTION of their dismal performance. The least they can do is to be CONTRITE (ask us for forgiveness). If they had protected our interests, there would be no need for us to take the bull by the horn. We have resorted to SELF-HELP because we saw no glimmer of hope in sight. We are making it clear to them that there is no turning back. We have said a resounding NO to RESTRUCTURING. We, the youths, prayed and longed for a day an energetic fellow would emerge as our PATHFINDER. Today, the Almighty God has blessed us with this timeless gift called Nnamdi Kanu. We would be damned, if we fail to make judicious use of him. We are queuing behind him. No distraction. Forward ever until the RAYS of the Sun in Biafra strikes us. There must be SUNRISE IN BIAFRA. All hail Biafra!

Let our elders , governors, and traditional rulers function within the confines of sustaining peace, mediating to broker peace between warring factions, and justly using our state and national coffers. As far as self-determination is concerned, we alone have the final say. God bless you all. You are Biafrans. Always tell yourselves that you alone know where it hurts you. Keep pushing. Keep moving. We are almost there. SECESSION IS WHAT WE ENVISION. REFERENDUM IS THE KEY. AGITATION WITHOUT VIOLENCE IS OUR RIGHT.

Consequent upon the press conference granted on Friday the 12th of August 2016 by the erstwhile legal team representing the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB “Onyendu” Mazi Nnamdi Kanu the legal team was dismissed hours after the press conference took place. A lawyer’s duty to his client is to represent the interest of his client and communicate with the public according to the brief and instructions received from the client anything detracting from this time tasted usage in the legal profession simply amounts to a breach of trust. On the aforementioned date, the legal team of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu made some factually incorrect assertion to the effect that their client the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) “Onyendu” Mazi Nnamdi Kanu disassociated himself from fellow Biafran Freedom fighters the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA). It needs to be stated unequivocally that nothing is further from the fact and from the truth as this misinformation that emanated from the legal representatives because they have either deliberately or negligently went beyond their brief to dabble into issues that are not within their area of competence.

The result of this false representation of facts is the immediate termination of the services of the legal team. The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) “Onyendu” Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has never minced words when he said on different occasions that the restoration of the sovereignty of the Biafran Nation is a project ordained in heaven and a task assigned to him by CHUKWUOKIKEABIAMA and cannot therefore be derailed by either explicit or implicit acts of mortal men. It is with this understanding that IPOB which he leads state without any equivocation that the only negotiation that should be undertaken is that negotiation that deals exclusively with modalities and procedures to the restoration of Biafran sovereignty and independence.

The emergence of the Niger delta Avengers NDA is a natural outcome of decades of intrinsic injustice that abound in the contraption called Nigeria where rule of law is nonexistent and flagrant disobedience to competent judicial pronouncements as exemplified by Hitler Buhari’s disregard and refusal to obey the order of court directing the unconditional release of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB “Onyendu” Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. In case anyone needs reminding, the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB is led by “Onyendu” Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, his ideology for the restoration of Biafran sovereignty is the same ideology being implemented by the leadership of IPOB. It goes therefore without saying that the open and unambiguous statement from IPOB that both Biafran freedom fighting movements to wit; IPOB and NDA are propelled by a shared ideology and pursue the same objective. Any person group of persons or organization overtly or covertly disassociating IPOB from the freedom fighting movement Niger delta Avengers has become a certified enemy of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB led by “Onyendu” Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. IPOB want to state explicitly that any legal representative of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra “Onyendu” Mazi Nnamdi Kanu must not only believe in his ideology but must exhibit that belief in words and action as this is the only way to appropriately and diligently represent him in the court of law.
For the benefit of those who may either be wondering or misconstrue the purpose of that infamous press conference held by the former legal team, the brief of the team was to expose and bring to the public domain the silliness of the Nigeria’s department of State Security services (SSS) in charging our leader with the offence of treasonable felony. A charge that is deficient in merit and in evidence. The press conference was NEVER meant for and the legal team was NEVER mandated to go beyond and above their area of specialization to babble into issues of negotiation and the freedom fighting movement NDA. The issue of negotiation is a non starter as long as the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) “Onyendu” Mazi Nnamdi Kanu remains illegally held against his will and all court pronouncements in his favour are yet to be carried out to the letter.

Provisionally, Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor continues to act as lead counsel pending when new counsels who will not sell their souls to the devil are appointed. There will be no retreat and no surrender in our match to freedom. When IPOB say “Biafra or death,” we are merely restating what our fore fathers have taken a stand on. Our National Anthem reads

IPOB TO NIGERIA GOVT: STOP WASTING TIME AND RESOURCES WITH AREWA AND OHANEZE YOUTHS BUT JUST ORGANIZE BIAFRA REFERENDUM

The noise-making of Arewa Youths attracted the attention of Family Writers which swung into action to unravel the secret forces beating the drums which these Arewa youths are dancing in the open. Family Writers Press discovered that the force behind Arewa Youths media noise-making by calling the name of Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB and Biafra referendum in vain was a sponsored and huge payment to them by Nigeria government as a final resort of drowning Nigeria government in the heat of coming Biafra referendum to intimidate IPOB with threats of ethnic violence. Family Writers' documented findings have it that Nigeria government paid huge amount of money to these Arewa Youths as a sponsorship to begin to make media noise as a way of intimidating the indomitable LIONS called Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the Supreme Command of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu (De Great).

However, it is regrettably unfortunate that Nigeria government under the Quota-system Professor of Law in Yoruba Land, the supposed Acting-President is yet to understand the real nature of IPOB by thinking that IPOB which has humbled Nigeria government and its corrupt Judges in its Federal High Court in Abuja, IPOB which conducted protests and rallies even under the rain of bullets of Nigeria jihadist Army and IPOB which remained fearless and unshaken before all manner of Nigeria media blackmails and propagandas, should be same IPOB expected to be intimidated by empty noise-making of illiterate Arewa almajiris and rebranded terrorists call youths. Nigeria government should go back and collect the money given to these Arewa youths for the purpose of intimidating IPOB, because no force, no organization, no association or even government in the world can intimidate IPOB into submission of its agitation for Biafra referendum which is already gathering a vulcanic momentum all over the world. It is very laughable for Nigeria government to turn back to terrorists as the present tool of intimidation on IPOB after these years of fruitless intimidation with her armed forces and corrupt Judges in Courts against agitation for Biafra especially now that International Community has started looking at the direction of the Biafra struggle.

It is against this dirty unfruitful deal by Nigeria government with Arewa Youths, that IPOB hereby advise Nigeria government once again to stop wasting time and scarce resources from tax payers money to sponsor these Arewa terrorists rebranded as Arewa Youths but channels those resources, times and energies towards the much talked about Biafra referendum. How long will Nigeria government give money to organizations, associations and media houses just to blackmail and intimidate IPOB and stops running from pillar to post but courageously organize the Biafra referendum? For the information of Nigeria government, Arewa Youths are too insignificant to intimidate IPOB because as an Ant is to a Lion, so is Arewa Youths to IPOB in everything.

As for Arewa Youths, IPOB is fully aware that soon the billions of Naira which Nigeria government pumped into their account which is intoxicating them will soon be diverted and embezzled by them and these their present noise-making in the media will die a natural death. Arewa Youths for sure cannot be able to sustain the noise-making because they are corrupt hirelings contracted to come and engage in war of words with the explosive IPOB. But how can intellectuals-studded IPOB stoop that low of arguing emptiness with Arewa Youths who jumbs from one uncordinated and intellectually bereft press statement to the other and thereby got distracted from our campaign for our referendum? It is obvious to the world that prior to June 7, 2017 when they issued the useless quit notice to Biafrans residing in the north, many people have not hear anything like Arewa youths. Findings of Family Writers investigative team provided that Coalition of Arewa Youths was a political creation of Nigeria government out of frustration inherent from Biafra agitation with no reasonable number of followers just as Ohaneze Youths are existing without members or followers.

Killng and supporting Biafra

President Sekou Toure of Guinea once said, “Our text- books taught us about the battle of the Gauls, about the
life of Joan Arc or Napoleon, the list of French departments, the poems of Lamarine … as if Africa never
had a historical past, a geographical existence, and a cultural life”. Biafra is not the invention of any of the
European countries. The name, Biafra, has existed before the advent of the Europeans to Africa in fact long
time immemorial. In the ancient map of Africa of 1660 and 1707, Biafra was in it. Bight of Biafra was also in
the map when Europeans came to Africa. Even today, on the floor of the broadcasting room of the British
Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) London, the name Biafra is among the name of countries, existing and
extinct, that are engraved there.

Nevertheless, the agitation for the restoration of the Republic of Biafra started officially from the time Lt.
Col. Chukwuemeka Odumegu Ojukwu as the Military Governor of Eastern Nigeria (Abia, Akwa Ibom, Anambra,
Bayelsa, Cross River, Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo and Rivers) made the declaration of the Sovereign State of Biafra at Ahiara-Mbaise on May 30th, 1967. The announcement precipitated a fierce fighting between the Easterners and
the rest of the country as the latter believed that Biafra excision means paralyzing Nigeria. So, to stop or kill Biafra was the target of the war-protagonist.

The gruesome war which lasted for thirty good months was presumed to have consumed over two million Biafrans.
However, since the cease-fire of that “could have been avoided no victor no vanquished” civil war, so many
things have been done and many policies introduced by the Nigerian Government to willy-nilly kill or stop Biafra
but none has succeeded. As things stand, more groups are identifying with the Biafran struggle despite all odds. From the newspaper report as at the time of this write-up, over thirty groups are now agitating for Biafra restoration prominent among them; the Biafra Independent Movement (BIM), Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), MASSOB, Biafra Zionists, Bilie Group etc. Even activities of some groups are now pronounced hence catalyzing the agitation. If
Radio Biafra is an alarmist and propagandist, Biafra Television may not be so, as a picture is worth a thousand words according to a Chinese proverb.

Besides, the lens of a camera never lies. The MASSOB three-day sit-at-home in 2004, one day in 2005 and
2008, if that could be taken for a mini-referendum , recorded more than 80% success. In 2017, the IPOB
one-day sit-at-home of 30th May, 2017 despite economic situation of the country, recorded a huge
success of over 85% as more South Eastern and South- Southern Nigerians are getting more disenchanted with Nigeria as they see Nigeria as a failed state. In these areas, the authority does no longer lie with the so called
politicians but the militant grass-root.

The late Agwu Okpanku, a Columnist in the East Central State then newspaper “Renaissance” later Daily Star
wrote in his column, “The Third Eye”, in the 70s “Killing Biafra” which led to his detention by Ukpabi Asika
administration in Enugu not Lagos or Kaduna. In his articulation, he posited that Biafra could not be “killed”
by unnecessary hostility against persons who were on the secessionist side during that “could have been avoided” war. What Agwu Okpanku said in the 70s, is still relevant today. Killing Biafra will only be possible when South East,
South-South, Idoma, Igala and all the ethnic groups that their women wear “two wrappers with a head-tie”
demanding for Biafra are treated as human-beings. Killing Biafra will only be possible when Nigeria
Government stops colonizing Biafrans through the courts using quota judges. Killing Biafra will be a possibility when soldiers, policemen, paramilitary officers (dead and alive) etc who fought on the side of Biafra in that war are compensated and pensioned. For killing six million Jews by Hitler’s German Army, Germany paid compensation to Israel. In fact, until Nigeria stops valuing cows, sheep, goats, etc more than the Biafrans, killing Biafra dream will be impossible.

In Nigeria, that one is supporting the restoration of a Biafran State does not mean one wishes Nigeria dead.
In the United States of America during the crusade against slavery, Booker Taliafero Washington was a well-placed Black College Principal yet he campaigned against slavery. In Sudan, Dr John Guarang was the Vice-President. Earlier he had formed Sudan Peoples Liberation Army (SPLA) to fight for South-Sudan independence. On his death on July 30th, 2005 through a helicopter crash as he was returning from Uganda and buried on 6ht August, 2005 in Juba, Major Gen. Sylva Kiia his Deputy, succeeded him as the leader of the SPLA and the Vice President of Sudan until the referendum of 9th January 2011. To show the gravity of the enmity of the South-Sudan and Sudan, he refused to
live in Khartoun rather chose to live in Juba. At a point, the parliamentarians were seating according to their
loyalties. Those for Sudan sat on one side while those for South-Sudan sat on the other side. All this while,
their salaries, allowances and estacodes were paid by the Khartoun Government.

Today, Sylva Kiia is the President of South-Sudan. As he agrees to the splitting of Sudan after the referendum which produced 99.5% yes-vote, President Omar Hassan Al Bashir said, “I will be happy if separation brings peace though I feel sad to the splitting”. Today, Sudan has not died and will never die and Al Bashir as the President has set a record in
Africa for other presidents to emulate while South-

as the 53rd member of the African Union and 193rd member of the United Nations Organization is contributing her unique quota to the peace and development of the world. In a BBC news of 12th January 2011, an Emeritus Catholic Bishop in Sudan, His Lordship Pari De Taban expressed joy on the outcome of the referendum. He said that his father was a Moslem and that a Moslem family paid his school fees in the Seminary.

That he wanted South Sudan to be on its own for freedom of religion to be practiced as according to him,
“Religion is the conscience of the people”. That Emir Sanusi of Kano bared his mind on Nigeria as
it affects Biafran struggle does not mean a death sentence to Nigeria. That Prof Ango Abdullahi, Gov. Peter Ayodele Fayose, Femi Fani-Kayode and other non- South Eastern and non South Southern Nigerians
supported Biafra is not a crime. Most importantly that Senators Enyinnaya Abaribe, Ike Ekweremadu, the late
Uche Chukwumerije, Ex-Gov Chukwuemeka Ezeife, Osita Chidoka, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, Prof Pat Utomi, Prof T. Nwala, Dr Alex Ekwueme, Dr Dozie Ikedife, Justice Eze Ozobu, Col Achuzie and some other outspoken
Biafran personalities do not succumb to the intimidation and humiliation of Biafran by Nigerian Government does
not and cannot tantamount to killing Nigeria. Nigeria has, from time immemorial, been directionless hence
Sonny Okosun’s question in his album, “Which way Nigeria?” Is it not Idris Abdulkarim who also sang that
“Nigeria jagara jagara, everything scatter scatter, kposa kposa”. There are many other unpalatable public
comments about Nigeria and the need for its break-up, at worse restructuring. It is a pity that when the patriot,
Col Mamman Ghaddaffi of Libya called for the division of Nigeria along religious lines, Senator David Mark
labeled him a mad-man. What a patriotic Ghaddaffi saw as a solution to Nigeria’s intractable problem, Nigerian Senate President failed, ignored or pretended not to see perhaps because of his position then. Today, the mallams and their headsmen are sending people of his constituency to their untimely graves. Is this the type of “One Nigeria” Senator David Mark fought for, as a Nigeria soldier against Biafra?

What is absurd about few Biafrans is their indifference to the Biafran struggle. The sabotage of the civil war
can repeat itself but this time, the chance of success of the perpetrators is limited. They are completely
overwhelmed by the evidence of the people’s desire for Biafra and the support of the International Community. In the British House of Commons, a motion called Early Day 808 and titled Biafra Independence moved by Elliott Tom seconded by Kinahan Danny urged the British Government to support the bid for the creation of Biafra Republic by urging the Nigeria Government to conduct a referendum. Some Biafrans do not want the Federal Government of
Nigeria to see them as supporting Biafran course because of their past and present positions in the Nigerian Government. Some are afraid of supporting Biafran course because of their various fraudulent cases
in some courts while many politicians are on the fence due to Federal Government contract jobs under their
custody. Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu was the man who said, “It is only horse, donkey, camel that one
can ride and it takes one safely to one’s destination. Once one rides a lion, the lion usually devours the rider
as one disembarks from the back of the lion on reaching the destination of the rider. If a Minister is asked to do
something unpopular, anti-people that will ruin him, resignation is more honourable. It is better to drive apart
than to drive close and collide or somersault. It is even best to eat pepper with smile than to lick sugar with
tears. Who, among the hypocritical Biafrans or Nigerian Politicians is greater than the Late Dr John Guarang and
President Sylva Kiia who never hid their support for South Sudan liberation from day one. Many statesmen like Mahatma Ghandi, Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, Obafemi Awolowo, Herbert Macaulay, Kwame Nkrumah, Julius
Nyerere, Ahamadu Bello, Nelson Mandela, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, Leopold Senghor, Joshua Nkomo,
Kenneth Kaunda, Jomo Kenyatta, Robert Mugabe, Felix Houphet Boigny, Patrice Lumumba etc worked tirelessly,
assiduously and overtly for their countries’ independence. They never subverted or sabotaged the
mission and vision until realization.

It was St Francis of Assisi who opined, “Pray as if everything you will be, depends on God and also work
as if your success depends on your effort”. Biafrans should pay utmost heed to the deeds of this great men
and the saying of St Francis. “Nigeria is our house but Biafra is our home”. In Biafra there are vacancies for President, Vice President, Senate President, House Speakers, State Governors, Judges, Civil Servants, Military Personnels,
Ambassadors, Ministers, Commissioners, LGA Council Chairman, Business Contractors etc. Every position is
for every Biafran. Biafra cannot experience unemployment as the sky is too wide for two birds or aero planes to collide in the air. What a Biafran cannot get or become in Nigeria, is very much available in Biafra. So, the foot-dragging, hesitation, indecision worse still, the “black-legging” in supporting the struggle is an unnecessary delay and a mistake of the head.

Finally, getting Biafra is not the end of the end but the beginning of the beginning for the people who have
suffered intimidation, marginalization and victimization in the hands of various Nigerians Governments to the
extent of destroying not only of our humanity, our resources, value and above all our future.

Popular Writer Charles Ogbu Takes Joe Igbokwe To The Cleaners Over Nnamdi Kanu

INDEED, NNAMDI KANU WAS RIGHT ABOUT JOE IGBOKWE.

Reading Joe Igbokwe’s tales of his personal wars and woes, I was left wondering whether to simply pause and die laughing or die crying. In his bid to prove to Maazi Nnamdi Kanu that he is not a slave, he ended up writing the story of his long years of slavery to the Tinubu dynasty.

How poetically ironic!!

He was called a hungry Lagos slave and he responded by listing his long years of “serving” Tinubu for 8 years, Fashola for 8 years and Ambode for 2 years and still counting. And how he got married and had all his kids in Lagos after abject poverty left him traumatized for years. In all his sordid tales, he didn’t mention anyway his Lagos sojourn benefited his Nnewi hometown. He made mention of no tangible record of achievement. All he regaled us with was his long years of serving Tinubu and Sons Nigeria limited.

Should we now crown him the longest serving Lagos servant??

All the people with whom he served Tinubu are now Masters, yet, Igbokwe is still serving.

The joke is on him but the bigger joke is that he didn’t even realise it.

Joe Igbokwe is not a slave merely because he admitted being a servant all his life.

He is a slave because he believes that at his old age, long years of serving other people was all there is to life.

Indeed, slavery is more psychological than physical. It is a thing of the mind. Once a man’s mind is captured and his thought process enslaved, forget it, such a man is no longer an ordinary slave. He is now the biggest asset the slave master has. To him, his chain is now a beautiful bracelet. The Hausa and Fulani ànswers Arewa, the Yoruba answers Oduduwa and they see nothing wrong about it. Now the Igbo’s wants to answer Biafra and they are now faulting us. Are we really co owners of the nation or squatters.

Imagine in a nation that the Arewa youth will suggest to the federal government on whom to arrest and not to. They tag freedom agitators terrorists and exonerated themselves that gave quit notice to co owners of the nation. The recent noise over the whereabouts of the leader of the Biafra restoration movement in Nigeria and worldwide, Prince Nnamdi Kanu by the supposed revelation from a former governor of Abia State, Chief Orji Uzor Kalu who stated recently that Prince Nnamdi Kanu had escaped to London through Malaysia.

The former governor also stated that members of the Indigenous People of Biafra [IPOB] had engaged in illicit acts that included robbery and rape of women in Abia State.

However information recently made available to US indicates that the former governor may have been angry and/or bitter with the Kanu family following a rebuff by the family when he attempted to reach out to the family to help in persuading Nnamdi Kanu into dropping the Biafra restoration project.

Specifically, Orji Uzor Kalu had visited the home of Nnamdi Kanu on December 27, 2016 to meet with Prince Nnamdi Kanu on the premise that he had a message from the President of the republic of Nigeria, Major General Mohammadu Buhari.

Orji Uzor Kalu was greeted at the balcony of the house by the father and mother to Prince Nnamdi Kanu in the company of Emmanuel Kanu, the brother. He was not allowed entrance into the main house where Nnamdi Kanu was seated with other guests.

Orji Uzor Kalu proceeded to tell the parents of Nnamdi Kanu that he had the powers to revamp the family and put them on money should they help him in persuading their son to drop the Biafra restoration project. He pointed to his powers as an operative of the CIA [Central Intelligence of America] – and that he had enormous pull in African affairs. He told them that America and United Kingdom briefed him that there would not be any Biafra.

He pledged to the family that if allowed audience with Nnamdi Kanu he will arrange for Nnamdi Kanu to meet with the former President of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan in Abuja – and that Jonathan can help open up doors of economic opportunities for the entire family.

Orji Uzor Kalu was softly rebuffed and told by the brother to Prince Nnamdi Kanu that the family was not for sale nor were they in the position to compromise the struggle in exchange for money or economic opportunities. The brother told Orji Uzor Kalu that IPOB is bigger than Nnamdi Kanu or anyone in IPOB. So no one can single-handedly collect bribe to compromise the restoration project.

Orji Uzor Kalu departed the Kanu resident without achieving his objective.

Four months later in April 2017, Orji Uzor Kalu placed a call to the phone belonging to Nnamdi Kanu’s brother, Emmanuel. Orji Uzor Kalu lamented bitterly that the Kanu family was not giving him the leverage he requires to negotiate with the Presidency. He told Emmanuel that he visited Nnamdi Kanu while he was at Kuje prison – and had worked towards achieving his release from prison. But after his release, Orji Uzor Kalu lamented that Nnamdi Kanu abandoned him and decided to give glory to others and not him. He lamented bitterly that Nnamdi Kanu decided not to visit him in the same manner he visited other supposed Igbo leaders.

He was assured by Emmanuel Kanu that Nnamdi Kanu will make out time to visit him in Abuja once the schedule allows. But Nnamdi Kanu could not get around to visiting Orji Uzor Kalu before Orji Uzor Kalu lost patience with the Kanu family.

Orji Uzor Kalu then changed his tactics and immediately went public to vilifying the Kanu family and the Biafra restoration project.

Sources close to the former governor told US he had assured the presidency he had the magic to get the Nnamdi Kanu family to halt the Biafra restoration project. It was alleged that Orji Uzor Kalu was mobilized to the tune of N35billion to embark on the project.

Family of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has, again, called on the Nigerian Army to return the property its personnel carted away from their home at Afaraukwu, Umuahia, Abia State.

Soldiers, who were on a special operation in the South East code-named Python Dance 11 (Egwueke11), in collaboration with policemen from Abia State command, on September 14 and October 8, raided the home of the IPOB leader and the family and, allegedly, carted away household properties.

Some of the items the family alleged were carted away included television sets, generating sets and two boxes filled with wrapper, belonging to the matriarch of the family, among other items.

The army and police spokespersons had denied the allegation, stating: “We were there to search for weapons, no household items were removed from Kanu’s home.”

However, yesterday, Kanu’s family maintained her ground that the invading soldiers and policemen carted away their personal belongings and demanded they be returned.

Spokesman of the family, Prince Emmanuel Kanu, Nnamdi Kanu’s younger brother told Daily Sun that what was disturbing the family most was the boxes of wrapper belonging to their mother, which the soldiers made away with.

“We have said this before and we will keep talking about it, of all that the soldiers and policemen took away when they invaded our home, the ones we are worried about most are the two boxes of wrapper belonging to our mother.

“What are they going to do with the old woman’s boxes of wrapper? If they do not return them together with other items they made away with, they must surely face God’s wrath.”

Kanu said apart from their mother’s belongings, the soldiers also desecrated their father’s palace by ransacking and taking every available thing that represents Igbo culture.
“What the army did is barbaric and despicable; taking our old parents’ belongings was the height of callousness, and we call on them to return those items without further delay or they will face the wrath of Chukwuokike Abiama.”
