BIAFRA: There should be no violence, Achuzia counsels Kanu
BIAFRAN warlord, Chief Joe Achuzia, yesterday counseled the IPOB helmsman, Nnamdi Kanu that on no account should violence be employed in the ongoing fight for self determination. Speaking shortly after Kanu’s visit to his country home in Asaba, Achuzia said, “I took the opportunity to tell him about our way forward.
He is our son and consequently is in our nature as fathers to give advice to the sons. “There is a native saying that there is no son that tells the father, this is where we were living before I was born. We have seen war before and we know what it is all about. I have told him that now that he is out of the clutches of the Federal Government, that both himself, his well wishers, his followers and even his enemies should continue to pursue peace. “Our mind is at rest now because he is out.
I have told him that while we will not give up on the struggle, let us choose a peaceful manner of pursing it and let it be said that it is the Federal Government that goes out of its way to employ force and he listened carefully.” Kanu was accompanied on the visit to wish Achuzia happy 90th birthday by his wife.
FAMILY WRITERS BRINGING TO YOU MEMORIES OF BIAFRA HEROES AS WE ARE IN COUNTDOWN TO MAY 30TH HEROES REMEMBRANCE DAY
DAY 5 - WED 17/5/2017 (LATE PROF CHINUA ACHEBE IN FOCUS)
In this day 5 of Family Writers memories of Biafra Heroes, Family Writers memories of Biafra Heroes Eagle is perching on Prof Chinua Albert Achebe of blessed memory. Born in 1930 at his hometown in Ogidi, Anambra State in Biafra, he had his secondary school at Government College Umuahia and had his University at University College Ibadan in Western Nigeria.
Late Prof Chinua Achebe was an erudite educationist. He is one the most intelligent men born in Biafraland as he is still recognized as the father of African Literature. Prof Chinua Achebe is extraordinarily ingenious. His like comes or passes once in a millennium.
Family Writers is aware that many people may be asking how come about featuring Late Prof Chinua Achebe in the memories of our Heroes. Prof Chinua Achebe was the charismatic and resolute Minister of Information of the short-lived Biafra govt from 1967 to 1970 when the genocidal war ended. That is to say that he is the Biafra Minister of Information during the heat of the war. He astutely and articulately managed information dissemination in Biafra govt during war because he was already working with Radio Nigeria Lagos before Gen Gowon declared the genocidal war against Biafrans.
Prof Chinua Achebe's history is mainly chronicled around literal works and when he is mentioned, what comes to mind is literature. He wrote the following books where placed his footprint for generations to come:
1. Things fall apart (1958). He used this book to counter so many lies of wetern world against Africans. He put record straight that Africans are not people bereft of cultural heritage, critical thinking, leadership structure and intellectual bankrupt as western world made us to look prior to the book. Although he dwelt much on Igbo-Biafran cultures as he butress his points.
2. No Longer at Ease (1960): Prof Achebe used this book to call on Africans not throw away their identity because of western world civilization mounting pressure on our creed and norms. He made clear that in pursuit of western life, Africans have lost their identity and can never truly be Europeans.
3. The Man of the People (1962): He used this book condemn the alarming rate of corruption in Nigeria govt and its civil service. In the book He used one Mr Ema Enanga a case study of a man who acquired education in London and was known as an upright man but immdiately he returned and joined Nigeria corrupt civil service, Mr Enanga become involved in bribery and corruption.
4. Arrow of God (1964): Prof Achebe used this book to analyze the tragedy & devastation of colonnial enslavement to Africans. In this book, he listed evils of colonnial masters in Africa.
5. Gales at War (1973): He used this book to condemned the survival of the fittest and general feudalistic system in Nigeria occasioned by selfish elites which led to the past genocidal war levied against his people and went ahead to suggest remedies which nobody regarded.
6. Problem with Nigeria (1984): He used this book to analyzed serious problems bedeviling Nigeria to includes tribalism, nepotism, bigotry, marginalization and chauvinism. But those in the helm of affairs never care to listen.
7. Anthills of the Savannah (1989): Prof Achebe used this book to show displeasure on how some elites converted the common wealth of the nation to personal belonging through the instrumentality of brutal force and bereaucratic placement. He described it as the height of corruption in Nigeria society.
8. There was A Country (2013): Prof Chinua Achebe used this book to bid farewell to literal world because he release the book few months before his death. He used the book to bring back the memories of the genocide jointly committed on Biafrans by Nigeria and Britain. As the Minister of Information of Biafra who has first hand information on what happened during the genocidal war, he listed 5 arch genocidists that must be prosecuted in #ICC for genocidal war on Biafrans. He listed as follows:
1. Gen Yakubu Gowon
2. Gen Murtala Mohammed
3. Gen T Y Danjuma
4. Col Benjamin Adekunle
5. Gen Olusegun Obasanjo
6. Chief Obafemi Awolowo
These are people who should be dragged to ICC according Prof Achebe in the book "There was a Country"
Gen Olusegun Obasanjo invited him to come and recieve Nigeria national honour of CFR in 2004 with which to mock him for demanding Biafra in the past, but he rejected it. Dr Goodluck Jonathan also invited him in 2011 for the same national honour, he also rejected it. In each occasion, he will always say "I reject it because the war is still on against my people".
In a summary, Prof Achebe is progressively controversial and his books remain relevant at all times. At this point we bring to the end analysis on Prof Achebe. Keep a date with Family writers tomorrow.

BIAFRANS IN GREECE

STANDS IN SOLIDARITY

WITH UNDILUTED AND

TRUTHFUL LEADER OF IPOB,

MAZI NNAMDI KANU

Greetings from IPOB in Greece to all lovers of freedom arounf the World. Freedom is not cheap, it is expensive from whatever angle one may look at it. It is full of sacrifices and being prepared to make sacrifices is one of the prerequisites for engaging in  a freedom struggle.
The World  would bear witness to the sacrifices already given in the course of this movement; the quest for Biafra in Nigeria has in it’s own way taken the lives of over 20,000 Biafrans in the post war analysis, coupled with the pre-war estimate of over 6,000 lives and the actual war death toll of over 3.5 million Biafran lives.
The Nigeria Government and her allies; British, USSR, Egypt and the Arab league have taken from us in both pounds of flesh and of material, we were made destitute in our fatherland and the complicit silence of the United States of America shall also not be forgotten.
Biafrans in this evil establishment called Nigeria are  still wallowing in abject disconnection from the rest of the World and in post taumatized state of mind from the effects of the war; yet the Government of Nigeria has shown no remorse for the carnage brought upon us. We know that one day our dreams will come through, for our outcry has reached the ears of Yahweh and He has seen reasons to liberate his children from the shackles of slavery.

Truly, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has proven to the entire planet earth, that he is a true leader, who loves his people with great passion. Many Nigerians thought that IPOB and her leadership would be like the ills of Ralph Uwazuruike who were treading on the blood of Biafrans, sacrificed on the evil alter of Nigeria. Not as they think of IPOB and her leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu! He is a man of resoluteness, upright of heart, integrity, wisdom and understanding, who has what it takes to liberate his people from the dungeon of death, Nigeria.
A man who knows what freedom is all about and has paid the most and ready to pay more for his people’s freedom. It is because of you and I, our born and unborn children, he was thrown into prison for a complete five hundred ans sixty-two days (562)l yet he stands firm; rejected every persuasive offer made by the Federal Government of Nigeria for the abandonment of the Biafra struggle.
At the beginning of the Biafran struggle, it got real tough. The people of negative mindset like Sanballat and his group started nailing Nnamdi Kanu on the cross. On October 14th, 2015, he was kidnapped in Lagos by the Nigeria DSS, the worse erupted out, where many are praying for him to die in Kuje Prsion, some South East Governors have vowed to  eliminate his life, sabotaging the efforts of him and IPOB Families for Biafra restoration.
When they kidnapped Kanu in Tolis Hotel Ikeja Lagos, on 14th of october they decided to kill him secretly, then Uche Mefor-the Deputy Leader of IPOB mounted Radio Biafra, broadcastingtelling the whole world that the Nigerian Government kidnapped the Leader of IPOB, the Nigeria are denying, later all, they admitted that they got him arrested. Thanks to the Radio Biafra-the voice of the masses!
In many occasions, President of Nigeria and hie killer squads DSS, and Boko Haram he converted into Nigerian Army think deep down in them to poison and assassinate Kanu, but to all no avails, Our ChukwuOkikeahbiama vindicated the life of his son Nnamd Kanu, for Yahweh told us in Psalms 105:14-15 “He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea he reproved kings for their sakes; saying, Touch not my annointed, and do my prophet no harm.’’ Kanu is a great Prophet indeed! In the total submission, resoluteness, and resilience, we the IPOB Family are moving forward with our beloved Leader of Mazi Nnamd Kan. We stand boldly to declare that your arrest brings glory to our struggle, your arrest is the death warrant of Nigeria Federation and the death of our enemies. The death of all Biafran killed by the Nigeria Government will give us Biafra for their blood has a voice, crying to Yahweh Elohim.
Thanks be to ChuwkuokikeAhbiama for releasing our Leader. Thanks to every Biafran and Lovers of Freedom. Kadi Maya Omilah “Forward ever, Backward never.’’ Alll Hail Biafra!

WE WILL DRAW THE WORLD’S ATTENTION TO BIAFRA LAND ON MAY 30 – IPOB

y Azeez Adeniyi
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has said it would not back out of its sit-at-home protest in the South-East and South-South regions on May 30.
In a statement released by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, IPOB said all markets in the Biafra territories must be closed on the day.
The group said the protest would also be used to honour the memory of pro-Biafra activists who lost their lives in clashes with security agencies.
The statement also said that there shall be no vehicular movement in the areas from 12am on May 29 until 12am on May 30.
“We advise Biafrans home and abroad, no matter your place of residence in Biafra and Nigeria alike, to make sure you terminate your journey before 12 midnight on May 29, 2017 as there would be no vehicular movement anywhere in Biafra land one minute past 12am on the 30th.
“All markets in Biafra land and motor parks must shut down, including the Ogbo Ogonogo Market and all the street markets in Ahaba (a.k.a Asaba) and parts of Biafra land.
“We (will) draw the attention of the world to Biafra land on that day. The death of our soldiers and agitators can never be in vain,” the statement said.
IPOB vowed that threats from various sources would not stop it from going on with the protest.
The statement added, “The countdown to the May 30, 2017 Remembrance Day has begun. We, the Indigenous People of Biafra, under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, wish to reiterate once again that our May 30 remembrance of our fallen heroes and heroines remains a priority for every Biafran both home and abroad, no matter the efforts by the Nigerian government-paid saboteurs and threats from security operatives designed to discourage the general public from sitting at home as ordered by our leader.
“The saboteurs and agents cannot stop us from honouring our fallen heroes because it is our

Nigeria Rendering
Apology To Biafrans
Today we humbled them, today we brought them on their knees. Yes IPOB brought Nigeria on her knees and they are begging for restructuring but we say no. If you want restructuring bring back 3.5 millions you killed. If you want restructuring bring back all the Ipob your killed on August 30th 2015, bring back all that you massacred on 9th Feb 2016 at Aba primary School. Bring back all you killed on May 30th 2016. Please Mr. Nigeria if you can bring then back then we will return to negotiating table but if you can't forget it is over. The worst mistake you made was to kill Biafrans because they want their freedom. Generations to come will be made know all you have done. On this plain called Earth we all shall leave one day but legacy is the only thing one can be remembered for when he or she is no more. Biafrans all cover the world are more vocal now than ever, I pray that you will reason well and let us be now.

Welcome, Address, Presented

By Mazi Nnamdi Obbodechi

(Ojukwu IgboNiile), IPOB

National Coordinator In

Greece, On Biafra

Remembrance Day-May 30th,

2017.

Fellow Biafrans, friends of Biafra and the lovers of freedom and men / women of goodwill, On 30th May of every Month is the Birth Day of Biafra. In the month of May 30th 1967, general-the then Col ChukwuEmeka dmegw Ojukwu declared the Republic of Biafra.
After the declaration of Biafra by General Ojukwu, the federal Military Government of Nigeria with the help of British, U.S.S.R and Arabs declared war on Biafra and her citizens, which an Egyptians Army pilot was responsible for bombing Biafran Nursery, Primary, Secondary Schools, Universities, Hospitals, Churches, Markets and other public places.
This genocidal war claimed the lives of 3.5 Million Biafrans:-named them, Infants, nursing mothers, old aged men and women and sick people were brutally killed. The people of Biafra and its environs are still in catastrophic condition up till date which the war caused.
We, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have gathered here today to remember every Biafran fallen Heroes and heroine, who fought for us to live, for they are the ones who saved our lives, they fought gallantly to save us from death. What a mighty sacrifice! They have sacrificed their precious lives to save our Yahweh blessed Country of Biafra.
Beloved people of Biafra all over the World, We are here to continue where these veterans stopped to fully liberate Biafran Nation from the tyrant Nigeria Government with no fear of intimidation and oppression.
The tyrant Nigerian Government can never occupy our land, seize our mineral resources, yet we fold our hands watching them! Are we ready to take back what belongs to us and restore our dignity as it was in the time immemorial?Yes, we must fight on and fight on, for Yahweh is with us in this good foundation of the restoration of Biafra.

Remember, the battle you stop to fight without reaching at the end of the tunnel, must stop your children, that is why the restoration of Biafra is a task and must be done with zeal, for one song we need to sing now says “Fight on Biafrans fight on, Fight on Biafrans fight on, the battle is waiting for you, is waiting for you, fight on Biafrans fight on! Biafrans fight on....                                      Page 2

There is every tendency that we must join hands together for the rest of IPOB in Solidarity with Our Leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, for this awesome struggle to liberate our Yahweh’s given land from unscrupulous Country of Nigeria.

The Genuine Reasons for the Agitation of Biafra Nation
For those of us that have no reason to join the agitation for Biafra nation, I want you to open your eyes to know that there are many reasons why everybody should join this struggle.

From the creation of Nigeria by Lord Luggard, we are one entity bound in Love and the purpose of unity. According to geographical feature and God’s own plan of creation, Nigeria is not one, but it is a forceful marriage, but at the of look things now in Nigeria, we understand all their evil operations: killing of IPOB and other Biafrans just because we are Biafrans.

@ Our Inheritance have turned to strangers, our land have also turned to Hausa Fulani for grazing Cows. @ We are like orphans and fatherless, our mothers are as widows.

@The Biafrans paid for the water, we drink, our oil is sold unto us.

@ We are under persecution; we labour and have no rest. The Biafrans have given the hand to Nigeria, British and American to be satisfied with bread, Servants and strangers have ruled over us, there is none to deliver us out of their hand. Example, the British government is gaining a lot from Nigeria mineral resources, crude Oil. According to the report reaching me, they are digging precious stone in Biafra land in Ebonyi state, deceiving the villagers that they are looking for salt, while it is precious stone they are digging. Woe to British government!

@ With our lives, we bring in our bread, because of the sword of the wickedness of the Nigeria Security Agents that used to brutalised our lives in Nigeria on daily basis.

@ Our Skin has become as hot as an oven because of the burning heat of the governance of Nigeria which leads to the death of the Biafran infant and many Biafrans during the war, due to the blockade levelled against us.

Page 3

@ They have humbled the women in Biafra land, the maidens in the land of Nigeria where the women of Biafra sojourns are mistreated and subjected to dehumanization. Our rulers were hung up by their hands and elders were not respected. The Biafrans qualified men and women were serving under uncircumcised Hausa-Fulani. Example, Alhaji Salisu Buhari-the former Speaker of House of Representative in Nigeria forged university certificate, claiming he studied at the American university, while he only obtained class three certificate in Muslim School-What a Country full of corruption that built her foundation in falsehood?

@ Biafrans youths stumbled under menial jobs which the income cannot take them home, instead, endangers their lives. Elders have ceased from the gate, young men from their song.

@ The joy of our heart has ceased, our dancing has turned into mourning because of marginalisation, oppression, intimidation, and servitude of Nigeria government against Biafrans.
@ The Crown has fallen from our head all, these is because we have sinned and our heart has been sick, our eyes have become dim, because of the land of Biafra which is laid waste; enemies have gone roaming on it.

@ My good people of Biafra, it is only ChukwuAhbiama who will liberate his people-the Biafrans in the shackles of slavery. Iseeh!!!

@ It is a high time when we will start doing the will of Yahweh in the fullness of Joy so that He will help us to restore Biafra. The coming of Biafra is now since our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has shown to the whole world his enthusiasm in restoring Biafra, by rejecting all the devilish offers which the Federal government of Nigeria has offered him right from Dss Dungeon to Kuje Prison. He stands firm that it is Biafra or Death! On 28th of April 2017, He was released from Kuje Prison with conditions that violate Human Right. His eagerness is it not enough to stand with him in every aspect of life, and follow his footstep in order to see our beloved Biafra been restored?

@ All Hail Biafra, Biafra is our Right and our Hope and the hope of every black Race!!! I will end here with few songs “Nigeria anyi agaghi ekwee, ma-any enwetagh Biafra, Nigeria any agagh ekwee, ma- Any enwetagh Biafra, anyi agagh ekweeeeeee!!!!! ga-eme n Vam na-anya, gakwa eme n Vam na-anya, mgbe Biafra laba ala nkwa ga-eme n Vam na-anya!!!

I thank you all for coming out today in remembrance of our beloved Heroes and heroines that fought for us so that we may live. May ChukwuOkikeAhbiama Bless you all! Iseeh!!!!!!

3) The Biafran War veterans 1967-1970, those who fought for us so that we may live as at this day.
4) All the Biafrans killed by Nigeria government security operation, named them:
a) IPOB families
b) Massobians,
c) B.Z.M and others that join hands in demanding for Biafra emancipation from Nigeria.
5) Those Biafrans killed by the Nigerian Army @National High School Aba-February 2015, To remember those killed 3rd August 2016, and those killed at head bridge Onitsha, also to remember those killed by Boko Haram in the North Nigeria.

6) Lastly to remember those who lost their lives in Anglo-Aro War 1901 to 1902, which the British people used to terminated our people in tens of thousands.
Permit me to air my view in Anglo-Aro war:-
The Anglo–Aro War (1901–1902) was a conflict between the Aro Confederation in present-day Eastern Nigeria and the British Empire. The war began after increasing tension between Aro leaders and British colonialists after years of failed negotiations.
Cause of the War

The Aro Confederation, whose powers extended across Eastern Nigeria and beyond was challenged in the last decades of the 19th century by increasing British penetration of the hinterland. There Aro
People and their allies resisted the penetration which threatened their culture, influence, and sovereignty
Reasons for the war advanced by Sir Ralph Moore, the British High Commissioner of the Nigerian Coast Protectorate, included:

To put a stop to slave dealing and the slave trade generally with a view to the Slave Dealing Proclamation No. 5 of 1901 being enforced throughout the entire territories as from first of January next; to abolish the Juju hierarchy of the Aro tribe, which by superstition and fraud causes much injustice among the coast tribes generally and is opposed to the establishment of Government. The power of the priesthood is also employed in obtaining natives for sale as slaves and it is essential to finally break it; to open up the country of the entire Aro to civilization; to induce the natives to engage in legitimate trade; to introduce a currency in lieu of slaves, brass rods, and other forms of native currency and to facilitate trade transactions; to eventually establish a labour market as a substitute for the present system of slavery.
The Aro people use of divinatory practice in shrines dedicated to the god Ibini Ukpabi, to dominate enslavement activities, was perceived to be contrary to the imperial ambition of British powers, which was the cause of a need to consequently destroy the primary shrine, based at Arochukwu (according to: JI Ross, 2015).
Aro Opposition:-The Aros knew that British penetration would destroy their economic dominance of the hinterland. They also opposed their religion, Christianity, which threatened their religious influence through their oracle Ibini Ukpabi. The Aro led raids and invasions on communities were conducted in order to undermine British penetration since the 1890s. While the British prepared for the invasion of Arochukwu in November 1901, the Aro launched their last major offensive before the Aro Expedition by British forces. Aro forces led by Okoro Toti sacked Obegu (a British ally) which resulted in 400 people dying. This attack quickened British preparation for their offensive.
Aro Expedition:-Sir Ralph Moore and the Royal Niger Company had planned the attack on the Aros and the Ibini Ukpabi oracle since September 1899 but due to lack of necessary manpower, it was delayed until November 1901. On November 28, Lt. Col. A. F. Montanaro led 87 officers, 1,550 soldiers and 2,100 carriers in four axes of advance to Arochukwu from OgutaAkweteUnwuna and Itu on a counter-insurgency campaign. As expected, Aro forces resisted all axes strongly, although they lacked modern weapons. However, Arochukwu was captured on December 28 after four days of fierce battles in and around the city. As a result, the Ibini Ukpabi shrine was allegedly blown up. Battles between British and Aro forces continued throughout the region until spring 1902 when Aro forces were defeated in the last major battle at Bende.
The Aro Expedition ended three weeks later.May Yahweh, our ChukwuokikeAhbiama grants them rest in His bossom-Iseeh!!!!! Let us speak our mother tongue language Igbo “Ka-anyi bụọ Nd British bbụọn b nd tnyere any na-aka nwna-ahh d iche iche. Sir,

                                 CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE
                             TO SYRIZA’S PARTY
We would like to introduce our group: We are group of Freedom agitators from Eastern Nigeria, also known as “Indigenous People of Biafra” (IPOB). In 1967-70 there was a civil war in Nigeria when Biafrans, quest for freedom was opposed by the rest of Nigeria particularly the Northern States, now dominantly Muslims. A place housing the Boko Haram, which is making the lives of Biafrans / Christians living in the Northern Parts difficult, also they are trying to Islamize the entire Country of Nigeria.
This war claimed the lives of 3.5 Millions Biafrans and properties worth of billions of dollars were destroyed.

We would like to use this opportunity to congratulate you and your party as we witnessed a new political Party taken over the power to bring out the real dividends of democracy since the Greek Nation is the father of democracy in the world.

Your ascension to the office of the Prime Minister of Greece did not just make a positive impression on the entire Greek people alone but also Greeks in Diaspora, it also is a good news for the foreigners living in Greece. This victory has brought a considerable joy to all parties who are lovers and sympathizers of the Greek nation.

On behalf of “Indigenous People of Biafra” (IPOB) living in Greece and all over the world again we congratulate and pledge our support to you and your Government which we believe will be a huge sigh of relief to many foreigners in Greece.

We pray that God who sees you and your party through will grant you strength to lead, and He will protect you in order to return the smiles to every faces residing in Greeks.

God bless
Long live HELLENIC REPUBLIC

We are Igbos, but denied Igbo because of Biafran War" says Ikwerre youths
By Adiele Samuel
Ikwerre youths has said that according to history, the people of Ikwerre are actually Igbos. The youths, in an epistle signed by one of their leaders, Adiele Samuel said that the reason why they were forced to deny their Igbo roots was to avoid being shortchanged in Nigeria during and after the Civil War.
Read for yourself: “We the youths of Ikwerre extraction, Elele, Ubima, Isiokpo, Ogbakiri, Omademe, Obiri Ikwerre, Rumuigbo, Rumuola, Rumukurushi, Rumuokoro, etc wish to make known our position as regards to Biafra movement.

The Ikwerre is a sub group of Igbo in the Niger Delta headquartered in Isiokpo Ancient Kingdom, we are some time classified as a separate ethnic group in Rivers State, if you call us Igbo you are not wrong and if you call us Ikwerre you are equally not wrong.
There are reasons behind the creation of Rivers State, one was to frustrate the Biafran dream and two was to divide the Igbo ethnic group being regarded as separatist tribe.

The division of old Eastern Nigeria no doubt was based on popular demands by the non Igbo speaking communities due to fear of marginalization, loosing their identity and other lies peddled by Nigeria Government.
When Rivers State was carved out from the east, there was need to divide the Igbo, on the process, part of Igbo communities were carved into Rivers State which resulted to identity crises, as some started rewriting the Ikwerre history to please the North.

The name Ikwerre is as if you are asking a question and then someone from Imo State replies you “Nkwerre” which is an LGA in the State.
The problem of most of our youth is that they rely on what their grand fathers told them without studying wide. In Eli kwerre, if you have not married from Imo you are not in line, most Ikwerre wives are Imolites and we speak Igbo even more than some Igbos who claims to be original Igbo.
The identity crisis in Rivers State started immediately after the war, some claim Bini origin, notable of them is Elechi Amadi the author of the Concubine, in all his books has promoted the Igbo culture but in a surprised move denounced his Igboness before Justice Oputa who reminded him of his Igbo names and Igboid language, No Igbo speaks the same. We can not admit our Igbo identity except during elections like Amaechi”. Ikwerre Meka
WHILE NIGERIA IS ON DAILY CURSE, BIAFRA IS ON DAILY BLESSING.
Biafran restoration movement received words of prayers from the priests in ST. Brigid's Parish Ahiara Mbaise. IPOB members under Owerri Zone who had their "thanksgiving service" in the Catholic parish today, were showered with blessings by the priests who could not hide their passion and joy for Biafra.
The Owerri Zonal Cordinator (Mazi Chimamkpam Abraham ) who led Biafrans on the tour thanked the priests for the gestures. While addressing the Imo Media Team, the Owerri Zonal Coordinator stated that they seized the thanksgiving opportunity to remind those in Ahiara Diocese "the need to observe the 30th May sit at home. You know this is a great opportunity to sensitize our people about the 30th May exercise and which we greatly maximized today".
Imo Media Team can authoritatively confirm that the "mass" was indeed filled with the atmosphere of joy and celebration by the Priests, Biafrans and the worshipers.

Euphoria In Umuahia As Hundreds Of Biafran
                     Youths Visit Nnamdi Kanu

There was great expression of happiness as Biafran youths numbered in their hundreds stormed Isiama Afraukwu Ibeku in Umuahia, the capital city of Abia state to see the recently released leader of the pro-Biafra group, Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu.

Kanu, who was present with his parents His Royal Highness (Eze) & Lolo Israel Okwu Kanu, elder brother to his deputy Uche Mefor, Mazi Law Mefor and some media men received and addressed the youths after so much joyful songs and dances in the royal compound and its environs.
Biafran troops prepare for attack on

the Awka front, April 1968. (Holy Ghost Fathers)

I have always wondered what the grouse of the Biafrans who sabotaged the republic might have been. For the likes of Isaac Boro, Saro Wiwa, Ike Nwachukwu, and cowho fought with the enemy I understood, but for Biafrans especially the Igbos who were supposedly on the side of the Biafra to have betrayed their kith and kin have always had me baffled. That is not until recently when I discovered the fact no one has been brave enough to say. I knew it was not just money. I had decided to search for the truth and pay dirt!

To may Biafran saboteurs were the likes of Emmanuel Ifeajuna, Phillip Alale and co. That is just a bunch of disgruntled millitary officers and civilians who did not like the way Ojukwu was carrying on with his role as the Head of State of the Biafran Republic. Only a few realised that the saboteurs were everywhere: in the rank and file of the Biafran military, intelligence, police research and production, administrative etc.

Whenever the phrase Biafran saboteurs are mentioned, many peoples’ mind usually go to Emmanuel Ifeajuna, Phillip Alale, Victor Banjo, Sam Agbam, and co. Whereas Ifejuna, a renowned coup plotter and other soldiers who were not happy with Ojukwu’s style of leadership caught a deal with Gowon and plotted to overthrow Ojukwu’s government, a more vicious, dangerous but hidden set of saboteurs who undermined the Biafran project from the beginning were the Osus.

Eyes turning? Yes the Osus in Igboland made sure Biafra never came. Why? The Osus felt they would be maltreated in Biafra Republic and were more comfortable in Nigeria than in Biafra. They were scared of becoming the second citizens of the new Biafra. This was revealed by a Biafran veteran, Major Ignatius Ebbe who fought under Col Timothy Onwuatuegwu, in his book “Broken back Axle: Unspeakable events in Biafra” The sabotage began even before Nigerian government launched attack on Biafra through its so called “Police Action”.

Trouble started during the second Consultative Assembly, Ojukwu had called, made up of elder statesmen, chiefs, business and political leaders`from the then Eastern Region of Nigeria which was under the governance of Ojukwu. The Assembly was called to sound out the opinion of the people and fashion out way the region could forge ahead under the situation of the moment. According to Major Ebbe, Ojukwu had announced in the session that in preparation for the declaration of the Biafra Republic, he was appointing a particular lawyer from Nnewi to represent the interest of Biafra in the United States, and that he was going to give him Six Million pounds (£6,000,00o) to purchase weapons and equipment to defend the republic. No one in the Assembly objected, after all it was Ojukwu’s father’s money that was being spent.

However, trouble started during the recess following the announcement. Many would be surprised that an innocuous and unguarded comment caused Biafrans the republic. Ojukwu was having a light conversation with two individuals during the recess, when another individual joined them and questioned Ojukwu’s wisdom to make such an appointment he had just announced. “In his words [paraphrased], “Nwanna udi okwa inyelu di anyi bu okwa ana enye nwafor“. Implying that Ojukwu should not have given the Nnewi lawyer such a post, he had announced, as such appointments should be reserved for freeborns and not Osus. There was silence as soon as the words were spoken.

You could hear the pen drop. Neither Ojukwu nor the others responded. That was when the speaker realised his blunder. The other two individuals conversing with Ojukwu were also Osu. Their hearts were torn, by such a comment emanating from a so called Nwanna. Perhaps Ojukwu felt that by keeping quiet and not responding, the whole thing would die away, after all he knew the lawyer, who was from his town was an Osu, before appointing him and did not rescind his decision to appoint the man into such a position, even after the incident.

That however turned that to be a mistake. Maybe had he reprimanded the individual who made the silly comment there and then, the two Osus may have been appeased. But he didn’t. The individuals went back after the recess and continued with the Assembly. After which everyone left not knowing what had transpired between Ojukwu and the rest. The two Osus, who had been with Ojukwu, went back to tell the lawyer who has been appointed by Ojukwu on the mission, of what transpired.

He understandably became infuriated saying that what it implies was that, when Biafra comes they would be treated like second class citizens. He thereby instructed the others that their mission would be to sabotage the emergence of the republic. He was quoted as saying, “Biafra would be declared, but we will make sure there is would be no Biafra.” Biafra would be declared, but it would not be actualized.

They however forgot to put into consideration that the opinion was that of a single individual not a consensus among the so called freeborns and took things really far. Through their powerful network, every other Osu in Igboland was informed and told to sabotage the effort. They subsequently made contact with the Nigerian government and making them aware of their disposition. As these were going on, every other Biafran were simply unaware of the happenings. Few days after, the lawyer left Biafra for United STates, via Cameroon and France.

Ojukwu transferred the £6million pounds to an account he had already opened for the purpose. Weeks later, the expected weapons never came and the money disappeared. That was when it downed on people that Barr C.C. Mojekwu had diverted the whooping £6million pounds meant for Biafra defence for his private use. Many never knew what caused it, they felt he was just greedy.

That was the first act of sabotage. Instead of buying weapons, he went ahead to buy a mansion in Chicago were he settled and from there was coordinating the rest of the saboteurs in Biafra. As expected there were Osus everywhere in the land. They were therefore in the Biafran Army high command, cabinet, Defence Operations, Armoury, Biafran military intelligence, militia, civilians, administrators etc. From the onset of the war, the Biafra was fighting two wars. Fighting internal enemy who they couldn’t see and external aggressors.

On several occasions, Biafran army units, companies and battalions were unknowingly set against each by the Osus in the Army headquarters etc. The second prominent act of sabotage which was gloomily announced by Ojukwu was during the first week of the war. Ojukwu had wanted to decimate Nigeria army and put fear in them so they would withdraw from their Police Action. The setting was in Gakem Ogoja.

Biafran army command had got wind that Nigeria army was coming to attack the area to penetrate into Biafran. The Biafran scientisti in Research and Production (RAP), had invented a deadly land mine. The mines were laid at Gakem in a 4 square mile killing zone, waiting for the Nigerian forces. Everything was set for the decimation. As the Nigeria forces started invading, Biafran forces, who were not much, tactically withdrew to lure them into the killing zone. When the Nigerian forces got into the zone, the army engineers tried to detonate the mines but nothing happened. Unknown to them one of the saboteurs had replaced the fuse with a fake and non functioning one.

The engineer unaware of this tried all he could and the mines refused to detonate, as Nigerian forces approached. He ran back to where the spare fuses were kept. They have all dissappeared. The saboteur also took those aware. The plot which would have been deadlier that the Abagana massacre, which shook Murtala Mohammed out of the war failed and Nigeria forces entered Biafra land. Devastated Ojukwu came out to announce this act of sabotage to Biafrans.

Another prominent act of sabotage that led to the fall of Biafra was the OpiJjunction withdrawal. Biafran soldiers stationed at Opi Junction to gaurd against the invasion of Nsukka and Enugu unceremoniously withdrew from their positions even without being attacked by the enemy. Three days after the withdrawal, Nigeria forces marched into Nsukka unchallenged.

From their the marched on to Enugu. Even before Enugu fail, Biafran saboteurs masquerading as Nigerian forces were shelling the town to scare people away from Enugu. Mortar shells and bullet cases recovered in various parts of Enugu confirmed them to be of Biafran make and not Nigeria. This is an opener for everyone. God created everyone as equal and no one should be treated as an outcast or a second class citizens. I am sure the Osus who sabotaged the Biafran cause would be regretting their actions. We have all suffered together ever since. Boko Haram does not know who is Osu and who is not.

We are one and the same special creations of God. Everyone no matter how little has a role to play and could frustrate other peoples effort. They deed has been done, but we must all learn from our mistakes and forge ahead with love. Say no to discrimination of whatever kind

Remembrance Day-May 30th, 2017.

Fellow Biafrans, friends of Biafra and the lovers of freedom and men and women of goodwill, On 30th May of every Month is the Birth Day of Biafra.

Biafrans fight on.....!
                                                              (Page 2)

According to geographical feature and God’s own plan of creation, Nigeria is not one, but it is a forceful marriage, but at the of look of things now in Nigeria, we understand all their evil operations: the killing of IPOB and other Biafrans just because we are Biafrans.
@ Our Inheritance have turned to strangers, our land has also turned to Hausa Fulani for grazing Cows.

Iseeh!!!!!!

Here is the end of the reading the welcome address presented by Nnamdi Obbodoechi (Ojukwu IgboNile) the IPOB National Coordinator In Greece, Thank you all!
