The Murdering of Mrs Bridget Over Blasphemy, How It Happened

BIAFRA

Angry Muslims youths in Kano on Thursday evening decapitated a woman trader (Mrs. Bridget Agbahime) over allegations that she blasphemed Prophet Muhammad. The victim, who is of Igbo extraction was accused of blasphemy during a religious argument at Wambai market. The woman, who sells plastics at the local market was in the company of her husband when she was murdered. Dauda Ahmed and Subeiru Abubakar, according to Force spokesperson Kolawole Olabisi, are arrested suspects out of all the youths who have carried out this massacre. According to Mr Odechukwu, a member of Mbaitoli Association in Kano, a young man came to Mrs Bridget shopfront to wash his legs for the usual Muslims prayers and she appealed to him to go elsewhere to wash his legs as her customers are still in the shop, but the young man having ulterior motives, shouted Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, lying to his group that Mrs Bridget has blasphemed against Prophet Mohammed.

Efforts by her Husband, Pastor Mike, who hails from Amaukwu, Orodo town in Mbaitoli LGA of Imo state and a Pastor of the Deeper Life Ministry, Brigade, Kano and other traders to explain to already stationed Muslim youths proved abortive. They dragged her away from the husband, according to the relatives that spoke with Hope For Nigeria, beheaded her and used her head as a trophy to parade around the market and the town centre. Not minding that these bloodthirsty religious freaks celebrated with Mrs Bridget's decapitated head for over 2 hours, no security agent raised a finger. The Igbo residents in Kano regretted that the emergence of President Muhammadu Buhari have emboldened members of the Islamist terror group, Boko Haram, the terror group, Fulani Herdsmen and other Islamist fundamentalist individuals across the country, as they are sure that they will never be prosecuted not minding the nature and magnitude of their offence.

According to Femi Adesina, the spokesperson to Buhari has condemned the staged killing on Saturday 4th June, after four days of the incident. “The incident at Kofar Wambai market, Kano city, is utterly condemnable, and the state government has been quite proactive. Let us ensure that we keep the peace, as justice will be done. Let us learn to respect each other’s faith so that we can know each other and live together in peace,” In Igbo tradition, cutting Biafran son or daughter's head is a taboo despite being against the Law. For our darling daughter to be killed in that manner despite that nobody owns her. And we are not ready to deny our daughter now because she did not do anything wrong than just being accused of calling names that are inappropriate to Mohammed. Since she has died in this manner, I think the killers should be killed. We will not let go such attitude and slap to Igbo culture to become an opportunity to belittle Biafran nation. We will surely fight to kill back because you Hausas has defiled our tradition and demanded to be killed too.

SUSPECT
Husband narrates how wife was beheaded in Kano as Gov. announced arrest of prime suspect
Bridget Patience, member Deeper Life Ministry, Brigade Quarter, Kano. From Orodo Mbaitoli, Imo state got murdered by Nigerian Muslim mobs.
A new narrative has emerged from Kano State against earlier narratives by some Nigerian media houses alleging that she blasphemed the Prophet Mohammed (PBH).
Mr Mike, the husband, of the beheaded Bridget said she he didn’t blaspheme the name of the prophet.
According to him, three Muslims were doing ablution- the washing of feet- in front of her shop and she asked them to move to a corner, the Muslims, instead of moving away, began to scream, “Allahu Akbar”. They accused of her of blasphemy. Then a mob gathered with axes of death, the intervention of her husband, Mike, didn’t save her. In fact, Mike was saved by police men who arrived the scene.
Bridget didn’t commit suicide. She wasn’t defending her faith against Islam. She was set upon by Muslim mobs as orchestrated by Northern political leaders.
More than 24 hours after a citizen of this country was beheaded in broad daylight by some Muslims in Kano State, there has not been a single statement from the authorities. However, spokesperson to the Governor, Salihu Tanko Yakasai  said today in a statement that the Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State has announced the arrest of the prime suspect in the killing of a trader at Kofar Wambai market in Kano city.
The governor, who spoke at the end of a stakeholders meeting in Kano, gave the name of the suspect as Alhaji Dauda and promised that justice would be done in the case.
Mr. Ganduje thanked security agencies for dousing tension in the state and for going after the perpetrators of the heinous act.
Suspected hoodlums had killed Bridget Agbahime in Kano after reportedly accusing her of blasphemy.
Rising from a meeting chaired by the governor and attended by prominent dignitaries, participants described the incident as illegal, unfortunate and regrettable.
Those at the meeting include the state Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria, Ransome Bello; husband to the deceased, Mike Agbahime; islamic scholars and security agencies.
In a six-point resolution read by the governor after the meeting, participants condoled the husband of the deceased, Mr. Agbahime, describing the killing of his wife as illegal and unacceptable.
Governor Ganduje later promised that justice would be done in the matter in accordance with the provisions of the Nigerian Constitution.
According to him, the meeting appreciated the role played by security agencies in the matter, especially for working assiduously to douse tension in the city and arresting the prime suspect, Alhaji Dauda. The meeting, he added, also resolved that all the stakeholders should publicly condemn the killing of the victim and that all Islamic and Christian leaders should engage in public enlightenment of their followers to guard against a recurrence of such senselessness.
Governor Ganduje, who pledged to support the bereaved family at the trying period, expressed deep condolences to the family on behalf of the government and people of the state.
In his remarks, the state CAN Chairman, Mr. Bello, said his association was fully satisfied with the resolutions reached at the meeting.
“There is nothing better any person would expect more than what you (the governor) have done tonight,” the CAN chairman said.

While urging the people of the state to remain calm, Mr. Bello said with the steps taken by the state government, peace had returned to the state and that the stakeholders meeting was the beginning of the end of committing dastardly acts such as killings in Kano

The Eze Ndigbo Kano, Boniface Ibekwe, called on all civil and community leaders to cooperate in ensuring lasting peace.

Mr. Ibekwe urged other governors in Nigeria to emulate Governor Ganduje’s initiatives in ensuring brotherly co-existence in their states.
JUST IN! BIAFRA DAY KILLINGS: 26 S’east & S’south
Groups Gear Up For Referendum.
South-East and South-South groups rose from a meeting in Enugu, Friday, vowing to throw their weight behind the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB in order to facilitate the conduct of referendum
for the actualization of Biafra. The 26 groups expressed outrage over the reported massacre of pro-Biafra agitators in Onitsha, Anambra State. They agreed to enlarge their coalition by consulting widely on the need or otherwise for the two regions to endorse the non- violence agitation of IPOB for a referendum to decide the future of Nigeria.
The meeting’s singular agenda was the support or otherwise of IPOB in pursuit of a referendum. The meeting was convened by 82 year old NCNC and Zikist activist, Chief Mrs, Mariah Okwor, and Leader of the Igbo Women Assembly. Present at the meeting, were representatives of CAN, PFN, Traditional Rulers, Igbo Traders Congress, Ohanaeze Youth Forum, Igbo in Academia, South East Professionals, Niger Delta Youth Forum, Old Eastern Region Movement, World Igbo Congress, Igbo Survival Movement, South East Youth Congress, amongst others.

The groups were angered at the silence of the South East Governors over what they called “the cold blooded massacre of 81 Easterners on Monday around Onitsha and environs during the 49thAnniversary of the Annual May 30thBiafra Day Ceremony.” Bishop Micheal Ibeneme of the Lords Salvation Gospel Ministry, who chaired the meeting, lamented the deliberate attempt by the Army to blackmail the youths, by claiming that the youths turned violent. “It is fabricated lies, the youths were deliberately murdered by the soldiers simply because someone in Abuja does not want to hear the name Biafra.
Everybody knows those boys were not armed. “If a panel of enquiry is not immediately set up to bring to book those murderous soldiers, then the govt will be pushing all of us to join IPOB immediately. This mindless killing is unacceptable”. Speaker after speaker condemned in no uncertain terms what they termed “the attempt to silence the truth by taking away more than half of the corpses by the military.” The groups agreed to consult more widely and enlarge the coalition in
other to take a definite decision on whether to publicly canvass support for IPOB in the light of the brutal suppression by the military.

The groups agreed to meet on the 27thof June in Umuahia to take a final decision. Convener of the meeting Chief (Mrs.) Mariah Okwor, almost in tears bemoaned the cold blooded slaughter of unarmed youths, whose only crime is their desire for freedom from a repressive and mindlessly oppressive State. She warned that the Onitsha massacre will not be swept under the carpet. “This brutal genocide has clearly redefined the Nigeria reality. It is extremely difficult for any sane person to continue to support or even feel safe in any state where cold blooded murder by the state has become an everyday occurrence”.

She continued that, “The 81 young souls massacred on Monday has changed the dynamics, everybody now sympathizes with the boys, and we will meet on 26thJune in Umuahia to announce our total support for an early referendum on the fate of this country called Nigeria. “We are totally shocked at the ruthlessness and wickedness of killing our children in cold blood. Our governors by their silence are only trying to isolate themselves from the people. Soon the people will mass up on one side and Buhari, the soldiers and the governors on another side.

They will soon fire out that they are Leaders without followers. Everybody is mourning. The killings are unacceptable”. Meanwhile, in another development, the founder of Igbo Youth Movement and deputy Secretary of Igbo Leaders of Thought, Evangelist Elliot Uko, has appealed to all aggrieved youth of Eastern region to remain non-violent in their agitation for justice and equity, assuring them that the masses are with them.
Uko, who was addressing Student Union Leaders from 44 tertiary institutions from the South East, said the injustice in Nigeria can never be solved by killing unarmed youth and then turn round to falsely accuse them of attacking military man. He said, “We all know IPOB are not armed, and we plead with them not to succumb to pressure and temptation to take up arms. The people are with them, that is the most important thing. I can tell you that over 95% of our people are sympathetic to the IPOB and their sacrifices. “These mindless killings, have elicited so much sympathy towards their course. The decision to kill them was a terrible mistake.

Now everybody is identifying with their course, even those who didn’t support them in the past now sympathize with them. “So, the decision to kill them in order to scare them off and frighten them into backing off from their struggle has clearly backfired. The Aba massacre of February 9 and the Onitsha massacre of May 3o have won millions of converts for IPOB; the killing was a terrible mistake”. “Uko said the funeral for the 81 persons killed in Onitsha should be peaceful and every effort must be made, not to fall into the trap of getting violent. Resort to violence will make
IPOB loose the huge sympathy it is enjoying today.
They must remain non- violent.” He added that “the whole country is paralysed with fear and apprehension over uncanny developments in the land. While the military were busy mowing down unarmed youth in the east on Monday, Islamic warriors were busy same day lynching innocent easterner in niger state over allegations of blasphemy. Yet another igbo woman was also lynched in kano market Thursday evening. We are now in a state of fear and foreboding.”

                                   The Cause of Bridget Killing
We shall respond, surely. SOME NIGERIANS HAVE SOLD THEIR SOULS TO THE DEVIL (To Their Political Parties)
Considering the recent beheadings of some southern Nigerians in the north and the killings of other commong innocent Nigerians in the last one year since Buhari took over, I join some Nigerians in blaming president Buhari's silence over the gruesome killings by his so called brothers.

Our major blame should go to some Nigerian elites/activists that use to be vibrant before Buhari's emergence. The Lawyer Festus Keyamo is a very good example. Where is he in all of this??? Where are all the south southerners, south easterners and south westerners that chanted SAI BABA??? Why are they pretending like they are not aware of what is happening? Why have they become so cold and silent at oppression, injustice and brutality of the poor like the devil himself? SHAME ON ALL OF THEM!!! SHAME SHAME SHAME!!!!
From sir Peter Agba Kalu
'IGBO LEADERS' AND THEIR SHAMEFUL VISIT TO
BUHARI.
On May 30th, two events took place in this country that will tell you the story of how Nigeria is being governed.
Let me start from the north.
An Igbo boy by name Emmanuel Methodus Chimaije a 24-year-old trader based in Pandogari, was attacked and killed by a mob in the town on allegation of posting a blasphemous statement about Prophet Muhammad on the social media.
What did the Nigerian Army do?
Listen to the news
"The Nigerian Army on Monday night announced the imposition of a dusk to dawn curfew on Pandogari, Rafi LGA of Niger State, following a religious crisis that started with the killing of an Igbo trader by a Muslim mob on Sunday night."
"An army spokesman said. The incident happened at about 6pm on Sunday, Troops of 31 Artillery Brigade of 1 Division, Nigerian Army on operation MESA quickly intervened and restored law and order while a dusk to dawn curfew was imposed in the town."
“Early this morning however, the rioters embarked on further violence, looting shops and blocking the Lagos - Kaduna Road, a major artery connecting the northern and southern parts of the country. Again, troops in conjunction with the personnel of Nigeria Police and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) took control of the situation to forestall escalation of violence and any threat to the peace in the town."
“Regrettably, one church, one house and a shop were burnt while 25 other shops were looted following the violence. Three other persons including a personnel of the NSCDC also lost their lives. Some arrests have been made in connection with the violence and the suspects handed over to the police. The military and other security agencies are currently embarking on confidence building patrols in all nooks and crannies of the town.
“As part of the measures to de-escalate tensions and ensure a lasting peace in the town, the military is working with the Local Government Council authorities and community leaders, including the Kagara Emirate Council to pacify all aggrieved parties and build on the peace so far established.
“However, while the military will continue with its current non-violent approach to maintaining peace in Pandogari town, it will not take kindly to any unscrupulous element who would attempt to visit violence on innocent and law abiding Nigerians. The general public is therefore warned to abide by the conditions of the curfew so far emplaced. All law abiding citizens are enjoined to go about their legitimate businesses without any fear of intimidation. They are to be rest assured that the security forces will remain fully present to guarantee their safety and security across the length and breadth of the town, within their rules of engagement.”
Please, I plead you read this line again.
“Regrettably, one church, one house and a shop were burnt while 25 other shops were looted following the violence. Three other persons including a personnel of the NSCDC also lost their lives. Some arrests have been made in connection with the violence and the suspects handed over to the police. The military and other security agencies are currently embarking on confidence building patrols in all nooks and crannies of the town."
Now, in the East, some Igbos who lost their loved ones during the Civil War, as it's done all round the world to map out a date to remember the dead. Assembled at Catholic Church in Nkpor, to first of all have a night vigil to pray for the souls of victims. And, embark on a none violent parade the next day as has been their culture for years.
The same Nigerian Military that was careful in handling a riot where an innocent Igbo boy was killed, shops and churches burnt, went to the worship place of these none violent people at night and start shooting them.
They will kill and took away the corpse so that there will not be evidence. They went to a secondary school where some of them assembled and equally started shooting them.
The next day, with snipers perfectly positioned like in war torn Syria, those not aware of what happened at night that marched out to peacefully honour the dead were gunned down. The people started running to safety, those who volunteered to treat the wounded were shoot at.
These animalistic inhuman treatment did not stop there. The Nigerian Military according an eye witness from a young medical practioner that volunteered to treat the people, stormed hospitals, to take away the wounded and till now, they have not been traced.
It was against this back ground that
The 18-member delegation, under the aegis of South East Group for Change, comprised mainly members of the ruling APC. Decided to visit Buhari and what did they tell him?
That he does not hate Ndi-Igbo as being said in some circles and wait for this. That in fact loves us.
The delegation included the National Auditor of APC, George Moghalu; former Senators Ifeanyi Ararume and Osita Izunaso.
Others were the former House of Representatives’ member, Sharon Ikeazor and the former Executive Vice-Chairman of Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC), Ernest Ndukwe.
The rest were the APC National Vice-Chairman (South East), Hon. Emma Eneukwu; member of the APC Board of Trustees, Chief Austin Edeze; Dr Uzoma Obiyo and Chris Akomas.
This shameless people decided to capitalize on the blood of their Igbo people to go and seek for political favour from Buhari.
Now, let me get it straight from the here.
I am not against someone selected political office seeking politicians visiting our President Buhari. With the way the nation is falling apart, it's the right thing to do.
But, going to tell Buhari that he loves Ndi-Igbo on the very day Igbo blood was being wasted is not the right way to go.
I am not surprised seeing some faces there but, Sen. Ken Nnamani being among is what I cannot understand.
There was no mention of how our people are being slaughtered like animals but, what was important to them was for Buhari to give the APC members of Igbo more appointments and wait for this...
The day he should visit Igbo land to receive PDP members who decamped to APC.
Buhari that is detaining Nnamdi Kanu and giving amnesty to Boko Haram loves Ndi-Igbo.
These are the type of people that called self Igbo leaders and tomorrow we say Igbo youths don't respect their leaders.
They have not raised their voices for once against the Fulani herdsmen killing of our people.
Again, our people were slaughtered, like Gov. Ugwuanyi of Enugu State they rushed to Abuja to see Buhari.
That's why it looks like our youths keeps on abusing our leaders. When you want to lead the people you put them first before yourself. You don't use their pains to negotiate for political office. Today, Igbo youths respect and adore Ojukwu, Ikeoku, Mbakwe, Okpara etc because we recognize the sacrifices they made for us.
Today, you hardly see any Igbo youth insulting Ike Ekweremadu because he always speaks out at times like this. Like the way at the floors of the Senate he condemned the Fulani herdsmen killing and the killings at Nkpor.
He's is emerging as a true Igbo leader and that's the type of leaders we want in Igbo land.

IPOB RAISES ALARM!!! REVEALS SHOCKING ARMY
PLANS ON ARRESTED BIAFRA AGITATORS (FULL
DETAILS)
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has said that it has uncovered plots by the Nigerian Army to secretly execute all the Biafran agitators arrested during Monday’s Biafra anniversary rally in parts of South East and South South.
IPOB also alleged that the security agencies are planning a secret mass burial for the agitators killed during the rally.
The pro-Biafran group had earlier claimed that no fewer than 50 agitators were killed by the security agents in Onitsha and Asaba, while 207 others were wounded and 403 arrested.
IPOB in a press statement issued yesterday by its media and publicity officer, Emma Powerful, called on the United Nations and world leaders to come to their rescue.
The statement reads in part: “We discovered that the Nigerian Army and Police decided to kill those they arrested and bury them along with the dead bodies they carried on the same day.
“IPOB under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu cries out over the deaths and for the mass burial of Biafrans killed during the remembrance of Biafra heroes and heroines on Monday, 30th May, 2016”.
The statement said the agitators were unarmed and did nothing to warrant the brutality unleashed on them by the security agents.
“As IPOB families and Biafrans mourn our dead brethren with heavy hearts, the Nigerian government and security agents are busy perfecting strategy to kill unarmed civilians arrested during the events and bury all with the dead Biafrans in a mass grave.
“Those arrested and taken to the Army Baracks by Army, Navy, and Police were being tortured to death without charging them to court,” Powerful stated.
IPOB tackled Gov. Willie Obiano of Anambra State for alleged inaction over the plights of the arrested Biafran agitators.
“The Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano went to the Army Barack and saw the dead bodies of his brothers and sisters who were killed during the Remembrance Day and also allowed those alive to be tortured to death.
“IPOB is worried why Chief Willie Obiano, the chief security officer of the state became stooge to the Hausa/ Fulani terrorist group,” IPOB stated.
RIP BRIDGETH AGBAHEME

Mrs. Bridgeth Agbaheme, rest in peace.

Igbos in the NORTH, return home. These are very perilious times in Nigeria. Do not wait till you get caught on the wrong side of the divide like it happened to your people in 1966/1967 before the start of the Civil War.

If Fulani herdsmen can come to your homeland to kill your people, is it in the north that you are safe? Come home.

May God rest the dead.
