When a Dictator dcides to rape Mother Justice, even the blind will be engulfed with shame. The self-appointed judge "Justice Muhammadu Buhari has indeed stained the white cloth of Justice, ridiculed mother justice and the court of jurisdiction. The Nigerian Juduciary is in jeopardy and is is being made caricature of by the interference and dictatorship order of Buhari, against those he considers to be his personal enemies. It is more shameful, that the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and the entirety of the judiciary are cajoled into the pathway of injustice setup for them by Muhammadu Buahri the President of Nigeria, without putting into due consideration the Attorney's Oath and as well forgetting the ethics of legal practice.
The attention of the world has been drawn to the unlawful detention of the leader of The Indigenous People of Biafra Citizen Nnamdi Kanu, but it is quite paramount to remind the world of the two other innocent Biafrans who alongside with him are also lavishing in prison custody with unfounded charges. The second defendants still illegally detained are Citizen BENJAMIN MADUBUGWU and Citizen DAVID NWAWUISI. Mr Benjamin Madubugwu was accused of being in custody of a container housing Radio Biafra Broadcasting Transmitters whilst Master David Nwawuisi was accused of mounting the transmitter on an MTN Mast in Enugu State. On that note, the two defendants are facing treasonable felony charges alongside Citizen Nnamdi Kanu, the first defendant.
However, it is quite itching to the ears,
over the unfounded, barbaric and trivial charges against these two citizens.
How can one be arrested for being in custody of a radio transmitter in the 21st
century, where information still remains power and every country have various
radio transmitters including Nigeria? That being the case, it then means that
all Radio and Television Stations in Nigeria are guilty of treasonable felony
for being in possession of transmitters.
Where in the world, can one be arrested for placing a transmitter and not a bomb? Boko Haram members have been planting IEDS, BOMBS and killing unarmed citizens, yet they were given Presidential Pardon and granted amnesty. Fulani Herdsmen have been ravaging and invading communities, villages and brutally raping, killing and carrying out massacres with impunity. Same Fulani armed herdsmen terrorising people, have been granted National Grazing Reserve, whilst Citizen Nnamdi Kanu, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi are allowed to rotten in prison for unfounded charges.
The Nigerian Department of State Security (DSS) have also wrongly utilised the detention of Mr Benjamin Madubugwu, to selfishly enrich themselves, by confiscating his personal belongings while still in prison custody. On the 19th of February the defending counsel San Chucks Muoma who is also standing for the second defendants passed a motion to the hearing of the Court and Presiding Judge Justice John Tsoho; "THE DSS CONFISCATED THE PERSONAL PROPERTIES OF THE SECOND DEFENDANT AND THIS WAS DONE AFTER THEIR ARREST. THE CONFISCATED PROPERTIES INCLUDES; MECEDENZ BENZ GL450, TOYATA CAMRY, INTERNATIONAL PASSPORT, ACTIVE DECORDER AND RAV4 BELONGING TO HIS WIFE"
Benjamin Madubugwu who is still undergoing unfair trial, had all his properties confiscated by DSS. A Man who was not accused of money laundering or corruption had his personal belongings confiscated while still in prison. Does this not expose the level of corruption in Nigeria? Even a decoder was made away with without return upon till today. From this act of theft, it is very obvious that the citizens should be secured from the DSS and not on the contrary.
The injustice practiced in Nigeria is indeed stretching the violation of human rights. The Nigerian Judiciary must save her face from this unending destruction orchestrated by the presiding President of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari and get the stained white cloth of justice thoroughly washed by countering the unlawful detention of Citizen Nnamdi Kanu, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi, to set the record straight and give the common man hope for justice.

****NNAMDI KANU
GOES TO COURT ON THE 20TH OF JUNE *******
By Okonkwo
Isaac Somto, For Family Writers
The leader
of the indigenous people of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu would be appearing in the
federal high Court Abuja, on the 20th of June 2016. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is
answering to a biased six-count treason charge the federal government of
Nigeria, under Justice John Tsoho who not only declined to grant them bail, but
also permitted the prosecution to shield the identity of eight witnesses billed to testify against the accused after he
initially rejected the application for shielded witness, making his rulings
in-acquiescent.
Kanu who was
illegally arrested by officials of Department of State Security Service (DSS)
on the 14 of October 2015, in Lagos, Nigeria, is being tried on charges of
treasonable felony alongside two other Biafra agitators, Benjamin Madubugwu and
David Nwawuisi by the Federal Government Nigeria. Both Benjamin Madubugwu and
David Nwawuisi have been both acquitted and release by the federal high court.
Justice Tosho though dented the bail application of Nnamdi Kanu, shortly after
president Buhari publicly said that the judiciary had no power over his
government, stating clearly that the accused won't be granted bail. Justice
Tsoho also accepted the argument of the prosecution that the activities of the
defendants constitute threat to national security. He also noted that the
offence of
the treasonable felony, Nnamdi Kanu and the other two co- accused are charged
with attracts life imprisonment as punishment and is prejudicial to national
security. The FG of Nigeria also alleged that the accused persons are managing
the affairs of the IPOB as ‘’an unlawful society’’.
President
Buhari who so keen on labelling the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra,
Nnamdi kanu a terrorist and IPOB a terrorist organisation, is doing so simply
because Nnamdi Kanu and his people (Biafrans) are seeking for self
determination in accordance with United Nations charter on the right of
ingenious people . It’s been almost a year Nnamdi Kanu have been unlawfully
arrested, tortured and illegally imprisoned by president Buhari. Mr. Buhari has
vowed that he will shed more Biafrans blood to keep Nigeria as one. Over 4000
unarmed Biafran protesters have been killed and over 2000 brutally injured in a
year into Buhari's administration. Amnesty International recently confirmed the
unjust killings of over 50 Biafrans in Anambra state by the Nigeria armed
forces after they completed their investigations that led to the unjust
killings of unarmed Biafrans.
Human
rights international, United Nations and the British government have
deliberately kept silent of the detention of Nnamdi kanu and the brutal
killings of thousands of Biafrans by the Nigeria armed forces acting on a
direct order from Buhari.
Stay tuned
on the 20th of June as Family writers bring you live updates.....
