The attention of the Biafra Security Services (BSS) has been drawn to some disturbing issues of manhandling of some fellow Biafrans leading to severe bodily injuries for alleged offences bordering on the overall interest of the Biafran restoration struggle. Some of the images emerging after these encounters are to say the least gory.

Unfortunately, some of the individuals being manhandled are fellow Biafrans. Much as the BSS will never tolerate any act of sabotage and or acts of insubordination to the hierarchy of the IPOB, we do not support the inhuman treatment currently being meted out to fellow Biafrans as they were currently being displayed before the general public.

We are of the opinion that every act of alleged sabotage should be reported to the appropriate IPOB department for proper investigations and subsequently proper actions recommended to the hierarchy of the IPOB. If this process is allowed, it will no doubts prevent the inadvertent possibility of punishing a wrong person for the crime of others and prevent personal vendetta from taking place within the great IPOB family.

Some members in our BDF department of BSS under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu have also been victims of orchestrated regular attacks from a few hawks in the IPOB who felt they are privileged enough to call the shots. Some members of IPOB have also chosen to deliberately misinform the leadership of IPOB against the BSS to settle personal scores with the BSS. Only recently, caution was thrown to the winds as the entire membership of the BSS were alleged to be working for another group which is anti-IPOB under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

The BSS wishes to make this very clear to everyone, that the BSS is an institution saddled with the defense of the entire Biafra Nation under the Command of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and faithfully serving the indigenous people of Biafra and does not work for any group or individuals. In the recent past many members of the BDF under the BSS have been attacked and tortured while others are still listed for future violent attacks.

In all these ugly incidences men of BDF had maintained their disciplined positions and did not choose to retaliate any of these unwarranted attacks because the BSS has been holding its from retaliating because we do not want to escalate in-fighting in IPOB and in Biafra land. Members of the BDF in particular have taken enough hits of these unwarranted attacks. It reserves its natural right to self-defense should they be pushed against the wall again.

The Biafran Security Services wishes to warn against further acts of violence, assault and brutal attacks by Biafrans against Biafrans. Members of BSS strongly condemn such attacks and warn that it must stop. Every Biafran deserves to be respected despite their differences in opinion. We have enough enemies out there who are brazenly sabotaging the entire efforts of the IPOB, still the BSS has never been instructed to go after these saboteurs.

Yet a few privileged members of IPOB are exerting their energies in the wrong direction. The BSS position remains that every accused person must be investigated by the relevant IPOB department and that individual given a chance to defend himself before any other disciplinary action will be decided by the IPOB hierarchy. Let us all channel our attacks to the real enemies of the restoration struggle other than taking to vendetta. May GOD bless the United State of Biafra and those genuinely seeking the restoration of an independent Biafran country.
