The IPOB family from Igweocha arrived Enugu at late hours of the 14th day of April with three luxurious buses and some other small cars for the wake keeping funeral ceremony. The IPOB members and the relatives of the late Mazi Matthew N. Okolie moved early morning of Saturday 15th to Orthopedic hospital Abakpa Enugu for the dead body in the mortuary.

As they were heading to the village of where late Mazi Okolie at Aloma Obiofia in Awgu local government area of Enugu, there were series of demonstrations by the gallant  IPOB members, including those that also hails from Enugu.
The Biafran flags were being displayed in significance to the people the presence of IPOB members under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and that they have come to bury a family member and also a gallant Biafran hero.
Many people from the community were so surprised at first instance seeing Biafra flag being displayed everywhere, and after some clarifications, the multitudes also joined the IPOB activists in their activities.

According to testimonies, the deceased, late Mazi Matthew Nwabueze Okolie is a very good man, a humble and loyal member of IPOB whom his colleagues at the securities department testified much about him and some notable role he played in the Biafra restoration struggle.

The Media also seized the opportunity to interview some of the principal officers that came.
During an interview with the Deputy state coordinator Igweocha Biafra land, Mazi Onyebuchi Eze, he explained to us that the reason why they sacrificed their time and resources in large numbers to attend the funeral ceremony of late Mazi Matthew is because he has done a lot in the struggle and it is very painful that he couldn't stay to enjoy the fruit of his labour on Biafran restoration.

He also encouraged everybody to remain formidable and also commiserated with the relatives of the deceased to remain strong because the good works of Mazi Matthew Nwabueze Okolie can never be forgotten.

The media tried to make out time and interview the relatives of the late hero, the elder brother to late Mazi Okolie who also gave us some word of admonition to continue in our good work.

The IPOB family as a whole also commiserated with the entire family of Matthew Nwabueze, and admonished them to remain strong, as the better days is approaching fastly and that we shall all see the restoration of Biafra and enjoy the everlasting goodness that follows.

In conclusion, the Former Enugu state Coordinator, Mazi Chikwendu Agwu also did some needful to see that he seized the opportunity to mobilize some of the youth in the community to join IPOB, even as the burial of the Biafra hero was concluded successfully.

BIAFRA: IPOB IGWEOCHA WOMEN MOURN AS ONE OF

THEIR OWN WAS LAID TO REST

By Ogochukwu Nnanna

For Family Writers

The 15th of April, 2017 was a sad day to the IPOB women in Igweocha as they buried one of their members from Rumuigbo zone one at her hometown Ama_Elu in Ama Nkalu Alayi in Bende local government area of Abia State.  Although the journey was quite stressful due to the far distance yet Igweocha women took it upon themselves to travel all the way from Rivers State to Alayi in Bende L.G.A  to pay their last respect. This really shows that the Igbo slogan  " ONURU UBE NWANNE AGBANA OSO" is not a joke at all as these women put it into practice by giving the deceased family all the necessary support.

Chibuzor Onyema was a  It is quite unfortunate that she could not live to see Biafra which she
For the sake of all those who have laid down their lives for this struggle, this quest must continue until Biafra is fully restored. And this is the only way the souls of all our heroes would rest in peace. There is no plan to quit this struggle and any plan to do so would be seen as evil and wickedness because many have sacrificed for this course. On this note, "Igweocha women are saying rest in perfect peace, formidable and determined woman, late Mrs. Chibuzor Onyema".
Meanwhile, the pastor who conducted the burial rites of our beloved sister, a Yoruba man prevented the women from spreading the Biafran flag on the casket as they usually do. The women could not make any speech at all or sing the Biafran songs there at first but the women being formidable and fearless resisted him after much argument and their leader made a speech on the good life she lived. Thereafter, they began to sing Biafran songs to the amazement of the pastor.

When Mazi Nnamdi Kanu told us how evil Yoruba people especially their pastors are, some people tagged it hate speech but today all the things he said about them are happening one after another. The Yorubas detest anything Biafra, so seeing that, the pastor hurriedly said the closing prayer and left the place at once. When we say that Biafra is a spirit, people seem not to understand. It is high time our people boycott Yoruba churches.

as
The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has done the greatest by uniting our people and revealing to us those hidden things which the British used to trick us and we thought they were doing us good. If you cannot praise Nnamdi Kanu for any other thing, praise him for this unification which has made an ijaw man to see an Igbo man now as his own brother. Thanks to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu again for opening our eyes and brains to see what was astake. There is no doubt that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is the brain behind this present day Biafra agitation and as a result of his good work, IPOB Igweocha women went for this burial simply because the deceased was an acknowledged member of IPOB. Hence, if you have not joined this noble family kindly do so for time waits for no one.

Finally, this good news should spread to the entire Alayi Bende local government and beyond because Biafra sounded so strange to their ears. The entire Bende needs proper sensitization. They have not heard anything about Biafra at all. Not only that, Radio Biafra needs to spread it's tentacles to Bende and beyond so that our people will know what is happening.
