BIAFRA CAN BE ACHIEVED WITH CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE AND DIRECT ACTION
BIAFRA CAN BE ACHIEVED WITH CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE AND DIRECT ACTION
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) can categorically and experientially conclude that Biafra can be achieved by civil disobedience and direction action contrary to statements made by some saboteurs and Hausa-Fulani slaves from Igbo- speaking area of Biafraland. That Barack Obama is the president of the USA today is directly attributable to the civil disobedience of the days of Malcom-X and Martin Luther King Jr. For 27 years, the blacks in South Africa never stopped carrying out civil disobedience until Nelson Mandela was released from prison.
The ArabSpring started with civil disobedience
and the outcome is there for all to see. It
is therefore preposterous and smirks of political illiteracy for some compromised people to
make mockery of the well- organized and peaceful civil disobedience by IPOB that has the twin objectives of pressurizing government to release their illegally detained leader and for the restoration of the nation of Biafra. One of these saboteurs and political neophytes cum Hausa-Fulani slaves is a man called Chekwas Okorie.
make mockery of the well- organized and peaceful civil disobedience by IPOB that has the twin objectives of pressurizing government to release their illegally detained leader and for the restoration of the nation of Biafra. One of these saboteurs and political neophytes cum Hausa-Fulani slaves is a man called Chekwas Okorie.
Chekwas Okorie has now distinguished himself as the latest and greatest saboteur of the restoration of the nation of Biafra. Chekwas Okorie is from Alayi-Bende in Abia state and he is the son of Late Chief Edward Okorie (a.k.a. Okorie Emeri) who was a fine gentleman but unfortunately gave birth to one of the greatest saboteurs of our time.Retired Major General Muhammadu Buhari wanted to have a negotiation meeting with the objective of finding a way out of the impasse occasioned by widespread demonstrations by the Indigenous People of Biafra.
The IPOB leader nominated Chekwas
Okorie to go and meet with Buhari on the assumption that Chekwas Okorie is a man of integrity and a Biafran to the core. Chekwas Okorie met with Buhari twice but never came back to Nnamdi Kanu to debrief him. Instead, Chekwas Okorie used the opportunity of meeting Buhari to cut personal deals for himself. Chekwas Okorie should return all the money he collected from Buhari.
To cover up his track, Chekwas Okorie
granted interview to Vanguard Newspaper reporter,
Francis Igata, where he displayed his crass ignorance of Nigerian politics as well as
mocked the victims of Buhari’s genocidal killings in Biafraland. By making mockery of those
while praying inside the football field of a secondary school were gunned down by
Buhari’s killer squads, Chekwas Okorie has insulted the memory of the dead Biafrans including those who died in the war of genocide of 1967— 1970. By mocking the dead bodies of innocent Biafrans such as Miss Nkiruka Ikeanyionwu, Chekwas Okorie will never be forgiven by Biafrans and all lovers of freedom.

By mocking the dead bodies of innocent Biafrans such as Miss Nkiruka Ikeanyionwu, Chekwas Okorie will never be forgiven by Biafrans and all lovers of freedom.
From his conducts and recent utterances,
and just like his fellow sexually confused Igbo politicians who prostitute themselves to Hausa-Fulani men in return for political favours, Chekwas Okorie is a clear and present danger to the Biafra restoration process. He has now joined the hall of infamy of Biafran saboteurs along with such names as Rochas Okorocha, Sylvester Ude a.k.a. Debe Ojukwu, Dozie Ikedife, Gary Enwo-Igariwe, Monday Ubani, Joe (Judas) Igbokwe, and all members and officials of Ohanaeze Ndi-Oshi na Ndi-Ama otherwise known as Ohanaeze Ndigbo. Even his postulated political tactics and strategy is replete with ignorance and idiocy.
Perhaps, Chekwas Okorie needs to
be reminded that a part of the Nigerian
electoral law requires 25% votes to
be captured in two-third of the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) for someone to be declared the winner of a presidential election. Maybe he doesn’t know that Nigeria has a winner-takes-it-all political environment and that if you don’t have the presidency, you are not going to make any impact. So how does he think that an Igbo party which covers only five states will achieve this electoral victory requirement? It was politically naïve people like Chekwas Okorie that ill- advised Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu to join Hausa-Fulani party (NPN) which led to his humiliating defeat in 1983.
From 1970 till date, Igbo politicians have consistently betrayed those from Igbo- speaking areas of Biafraland and have been in the forefront of frustrating the quest for the restoration of the nation of
Biafra. Biafrans are therefore, placing Igbo politicians on notice that we will no longer tolerate the sell-out of our people on the platter of the disgusting lucre from the decrepit Nigerian politics. Enough is enough to these Igbo saboteurs who see Biafra and IPOB as a means of personal aggrandizements and cutting of deals with the Hausa- Fulani oligarchy. The monetization of Igbos in Nigerian politics must come to an end.
Under the stewardship of political
contractors like Chekwas Okorie, they presided over the balkanization of Igboland such that a part of Ika called Igbanke was carved into Edo state. Even Egbema land was divided into two with a part in Imo state and the other part in Rivers state fondly known as part of the unconstitutional South-South
and as a result of this, the former IGP of
Police Mike Okiro is today regarded
as someone from South-South.
These Igbo political jobbers and
lameducks have not made any conscious efforts to even unite the Igbo-speaking areas of Biafraland. If not for IPOB under the leadership of Nnamdi Kanu, most Biafrans would not have known that Idoma and Igala lands are part of Biafra. Igbo
politicians like Chekwas Okorie
suffer from the three diseases of a
typical Igbo man which are greed,
envy and jealousy. Hence their envy against the leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, over his monumental and exceptional achievements and charismatic cum servant leadership qualities.
For Chekwas Okorie, he has met his
denouement and at the appropriate time, he shall be called to account for his mockery of the dead Biafran heroes. Chekwas Okorie has betrayed the trust and confidence reposed in him by the leader of IPOB and he will never be forgiven. Chekwas Okorie will soon find out that it does not pay to be a Biafran saboteur.

THE RETIRING
& TIRED IGP SOLOMON
ARASE
AND HIS UNFOUNDED
ALLEGATIONS AGAINST THE
INDIGENOUS PEOPLE OF
BIAFRA (IPOB)
On May 31 2016, Mr. Solomon Ehigiator Arase (Police Service Number: AP16474 and born on June 21, 1956), who will retire from the Nigeria Police on the 21st of June 2016, made unfounded allegations against the peace-loving and law-abiding Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. According to the Vanguard Newspaper of May 31, 2016 and credited to this man from Edo state who allegedly have two Masters Degrees including one in Law: “Following the manifestation of the disposition of the armed Independent People of Biafra (IPOB) activists to undertake premeditated attacks on Police officers engage in operations aimed at restoring public order in States in the South-East and South-South geopolitical zone of the country, the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Solomon E. Arase, fdc, NPM has directed the Assistant Inspectors General of Police and the Commissioners of Police in the affected area to disarm members of the group operating firearms immediately.“
First, it is appalling that someone with this level of education cannot differentiate between “Indigenous“ and “Independent“ or can he attribute this stupid error to the printer’s devil? It is laughable that this retiring “quota system-based“ IGP is alleging that IPOB members were armed and that we undertook premeditated attacks on Police Officers. I hope Mr. Solomon Arase is aware that there is a case of genocide already hanging on his head at the International Criminal Court (ICC) in the Hague—Netherlands and it will worsen his case with this spewing of lies against IPOB. How can the Police disarm people who are not armed in the first place? By the way, did the police disarm Buhari’s killer squads who go by the name Fulani Herdsmen? How come you never issued any press statement when Buhari’s armed gang called Fulani Herdsmen massacred thousands of Biafrans in Agatu, Nimbo, Aba, and other areas in Biafraland?
This murderous and worst-performing IGP went further to state that: “the targeted attacks on Police personnel, who have been performing their statutory functions in the most professional and civil manner since the latest resurgence disorder, portrays the IPOB activists who are orchestrating the insurrection as having crossed the threshold in their misguided attempt to test the common will of the nation.“
Can this decrepit and tired IGP provide any proof that Biafrans attacked police personnel and at what point in time did this so-called “resurgence disorder“ come into existence? Does this supposedly educated man know the meaning of insurrection or is he throwing out words to see which of them may stick on IPOB? Probably he is trying to make the job easier for Buhari’s Department of State Services (DSS) who have been hopelessly looking for the “smokine gun“ with which they will convince the trial Judge, Hon John Tsoho, that IPOB is a violent organization so that the Judge will uphold charge #2 in the case against the leader of IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
This grossly incompetent and ICC prison-bound IGP also stated thus: “IGP Arase, while condemning the killing by members of IPOB, also directed the arrest of any member of the group found in possession of firearm and bring him/her to deserved justice, while all IPOB activists arrested in connection with the killing of the Policemen should be charged to court for murder.“
How many of Buhari’s Fulani Herdsmen who massacred men, women, and children in Biafraland have the police arrested? So are you always blind to the fact that the so-called Fulani herdsmen are moving freely with AK-47 assault rifles? Why are you not arresting them or are they a special breed of Nigerians who are above the law? Why are you turning around this case of murder against your policemen to make it look like it was the unarmed Biafrans that were doing the killings? Are you making this press statement to cover your tracks and that of Col. Issah Abdullahi? It will interest Mr. Solomon Arase to know that the Head of Directorate of State of IPOB discussed the upcoming May 30th Heroes‘ Remembrance Day with the Commissioner of Police (CP) in Anambra, Hosea Karma, and then followed it up with a letter which is attached to this press release. It is a shame that Solomon Arase is displaying crass incompetence and ignorance by lying through his teeth with concoctions that IPOB members were armed and that they attacked Nigerian policemen. Perhaps he would have saved himself this embarrassment by conducting thorough investigation and checking with the CP in Anambra state. Now the entire world has seen through his lies and he is complicating and deepening his indictment, conviction, and sentencing at the ICC with these latest lies from the pit of hell.
Mr. Solomon Ehigiator Arase, you are aware of the menace of Boko Haram, the serial killings of Biafrans by Buhari’s killer squad known as Fulani Herdsmen, and the extra-judicial killings of Biafrans by Nigerian security outfits, yet you have failed to issue a single press statement on them. But you shamefully issued tissues of lies which you called press statement even after your policemen and Nigerian soldiers killed unarmed Biafrans some of them in their sleep inside a church as they prepare to remember their fallen heroes and some of these fallen heroes were similarly killed by Buhari in 1968 at Owerri.
Mr. Solomon Ehigiator Arase, as you retire on June 21, 2016, be it known to you that you will have no rest until you get to your final destination which is ICC prison in the Hague. You can tell all the lies in the world and try to manufacture evidence for your colleagues in the DSS so that they can use it against the leader IPOB but the incontrovertible fact is that nobody can stop the restoration of the nation of Biafra. The restoration of the nation of Biafra is an ideology and no human being born of a woman has ever defeated or exterminated an ideology. For those of you who participate in the wanton killing of Biafrans, there shall be consequences and the boundary of these consequences are limitless and can include members of your family both immediate and extended. No one takes a Biafran life and gets away scot-free.

Earlier today, former Nigerian
President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, gave a live interview and discussed a wide
range of issues at Bloomberg studios in London.
Dr. Jonathan also talked about some
of his achievements in office including increasing access to education for all
Nigerians, maintaining a healthy economic growth rate and ensuring the primacy
of the Rule of Law.
Full speech below:
“Civis Nigerianus Sum” – I am a citizen
of Nigeria.
A Speech by H.E. Dr. Goodluck Ebele
Jonathan,
Former President of the Federal
Republic of Nigeria.
Delivered at Bloomberg Studios, London,
United Kingdom.
Monday, 6 June 2016
Since leaving office one year and one
week ago, I have had the luxury of time to be able to reflect on the future of
my great country, Nigeria.
So today is not about my personal
memories or a litany of ‘what ifs’. No! Today I would like to share with you
what I believe is the key learning from my experiences for the future of
democracy not only in Nigeria but also across the entire continent of Africa.
I said before the last election that my
political ambition was not worth the blood of one Nigerian.
I was true to my word when on
March16th, 2015, just after the election, when the results were still being
collated by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), I called my
opponent, General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) to concede, in order to avoid any
conflict and ensure a peaceful transition of power.
This was without precedent in my
country and I am proud that it achieved my goal of no conflict arising from the
result of the election.
Some may think it is ironic that
perhaps my proudest achievement was not winning the 2015 Presidential
Election.By being the first elected Nigerian leader to willingly hand over
power via the ballot box, to the opposition party, without contesting the
election outcome, I proved to the ordinary man or woman in the country that I
was his or her equal.
That his or her vote was equal to mine,
and that democracy is the ‘Government by the will of the people’, and Nigeria,
and indeed Africa is ripe for democracy.
It is my sincerest wish that democracy
continues to be consolidated in the continent of Africa and it will even get
better.
For it has always been my consistent
desire to help consolidate peace and cultivate democracy in Nigeria and across
the Continent.
In fact, it was the key foreign policy
objective of my Administration when we were able to help broker peace and
restore democracy in Niger, Mali, Guinea Bissau and Cote d’Ivoire.
Ø In Niger –The first challenge that
confronted ECOWAS when I was Chairman in 2010 was the military intervention
there. We were able to resolve it through sheer determination and prudent
consultations which paved the way for the country’s return to constitutional
rule and democracy.
Ø In Mali – As the Co-mediator of the
effort to return the nation to democracy after a surprising military take-over,
I was the only sitting President to visit Mali and meet all the stakeholders in
the early and difficult times of the crisis.
I ensured that Nigeria played
theleading role in all the negotiations coordinated by ECOWAS. Our efforts
produced a political timetable for the holding of democratic
elections. I was happy that our work led to the historic Peace and
Reconciliation Agreement signed in Bamako on 15th May, 2015, which I was
privileged to witness.
Ø In Guinea Bissau,a nation known for
its long history of political crises. As leaders of ECOWAS then, we worked hard
to bring about peace by building international consensus around a transition
arrangement. This led to the full restoration of constitutional order in the
country. After leading the negotiations that produced an interim government,
Nigeria provided both financial and logistic support, making it possible for a
successful election to hold. The process produced a democratic government that
is currently running the country.
Ø In Cote d’Ivoire,in 2010, ECOWAS,
under my leadership, demonstrated its commitment to enduring democracy, by standing
firm behind the winner of the Presidential elections. The winner H.E. Alassane
Ouattara, assumed his rightful place as President, andwent ahead to provide
quality leadership not only to his country, but also to ECOWAS as its Chairman.
As the President of the Federal
Republic of Nigeria and a key actor in ECOWAS, we were also able to encourage
peaceful elections in Sierra Leone, Liberia and Togo. //
And today, the focus of my energies
isto uphold democratic principles, promote peaceful political transitions and
support citizen entrepreneurship and intra-Africa trade. These are precisely
the objectives of the Goodluck Jonathan Foundation.
We will achieve this by working with
African Governments, the private sector, civil society and other friends of
Africa to galvanize action towards improving our societies and making a change
in the lives of the ordinary people in our various countries.
We will work for good governance by
promoting credible and transparent elections, as well as peaceful power
transfers. I have no doubt that this is the basic requirement we need for
strengthening our institutions and enthroning stability.
Our interest in youth and women
entrepreneurship is driven by the urgent need to create jobs for Africa’s
teeming young population. To this end my Administration championedvarious
initiatives and programmes, including the “Youth Enterprises with Innovation
(YouWin), which encouraged young people to go into business, and the
“Nagropreneur” programme, which encouraged them to go intomechanized
agriculture.
Beyond job creation, Nigeria like other
developing countries, faced the challenges of corruption, which is a stumbling
block to the development of nations.
I think it is important to let you know
my administration took many steps to curtail this scourge, in the areas of
Finance, agriculture and petroleum.
To take just one example, we
drastically reduced corruption in the agricultural sector with the help of a
simple mobile phone.
We achieved this by providing an
e-wallet to farmers which grew the percentage of registered farmers receiving
subsidy from 11% to 94%.And in the process we were also able to save billions
of naira in fertiliser subsidies.
Through our Agricultural Transformation
Agenda, we greatly boosted food production and saved almost a trillion naira on
food imports.
This one initiative had the benefits of
improving food security, creating more jobs and reducing inflation to its
lowest levels in over 5 years.
Our ambition was to sanitize the
corruption in petroleum subsidies by completely deregulating the sector.
However, our efforts were frustrated by unhealthy political resistance.
Consolidating democracy and the
effective war against graft should be the collective responsibility of all
citizens. I would like to emphasize my ongoing commitment to good governance,
effective stewardship and transparency.
For Nigeria to further develop and
progress we need peace, freedom and unity.
These values need to be deeply,
strongly and irreversibly entrenched in Nigeria for all time.
For this to happen, it is imperative
that both the Executive andthe Legislative arms of Government institute a Bill
of Rights.
A Bill of Rights that will end
discrimination and tribalism, and promote equality, enabling everyone to work
towards the common goal for the development of the nation.
A Bill of Rights which like the British
Magna Carta, some 800 years ago, enshrined the principle of habeas corpus so
that no person is deprived of his liberty without a trial of his peers.
A Bill of Rights, like that introduced
by America’s Founding Fathers, which stated “the people shall not be deprived or
abridged of their right to speak, to write, or to publish their sentiments; and
the freedom of the press, as one of the great bulwarks of liberty, shall be
inviolable.”
There is a phrase from Cicero going
back to Ancient Rome, “Civis Romanus sum.” Meaning, “I am a Roman citizen.”
But it meant much more than that.
It meant that every Roman was entitled
to all of the rights and protections of a citizen in Rome. It didn’t matter if
you were rich or poor or even a prisoner, you were still a citizen of Rome and
protected by the state.
Wouldn’t it be good for us to aspire to
a Nigeria where we too could apply that same principle “CivisNigerianussum”?
Each of us could say, “I am a citizen
of Nigeria!”
We would be able to look beyond where
each of us comes from, and look past our tribal origins.
We would be able to evaluate each other
on our merits, rather than our religion, or region.
We would be free to think or do as we
wished, as long as we observed the laws of the land, without fearthat the land
would withhold our rights under the law.
What would it mean to be able to declare
“I am a Nigerian citizen”?
You would be judged on your own merits,
not your tribe.
You would have access to education that
can help you succeed on whatever path you choose.
You would be part of a proud culture,
one that others want to invest in.
You would be safe in knowing that
society judges you by your successes and failures, rather than your place of
origin.
You would be equal before the law and
your protection is enshrined in the laws of the country.
You would be an asset anda valued
member of your country; one who is worth investing in; who can return that
investment tenfold within your lifetime.
Ultimately, it means that you would be
an ambassador for Nigeria, and you would be able to proudly go around this
world and say, “I am a citizen of Nigeria.”
Isn’t it true that we are all citizens
of a proud Nigeria?
Home togreat civilizations, such as the
NOK and Igbo Uku, which dateback over 4,000 years, we are one of the oldest
cultures in the world.
We are a civilization that had faced
challenges, fought wars, and reformed our systems; we have always prevailed
through difficult times.
We are a civilization that now stands
at a crossroads a key time when we must make a decision to move forward or go
back.
It is my belief, that
No matter what location,
No matter what faction,
No matter what tribe,
Each one of us can come together as
citizens of the future Nigeria.
It was the American Green Party
politician Ralph Nader who said, “There can be no daily democracy, without
daily citizenship.”
The first transformation… must be … a
shift in our mindset.
We have to make the decision to make
the rights of our people our priority when making government and investment
decisions.
Rather than spending money on resources
that will run out, we should be investing it in people who are the key constant
elements in the socio-economic transformation of society.
Nigeria is projected to have a
population that will surpass that of the United States of America by the year
2050. But if we have not invested in our people, then we will not be ready to
manage.
Our money must go towards providing
education for all, because we know that once our citizens are educated, they
have futures.
Those futures lead to safer cities,
stable economies, and more businesses. When a young person does not have access
to education, their future is jeopardized and statistics show that they may be
proneto antisocial and criminal activities.
I am proud of the fact thatmy
Administration established a Federal University in every one of the 12 States
that did not previously have them. Now,for the first time in our country’s
history, everystate has a universityestablished by the Federal Government.
Despite it not being the responsibility
of the Federal Government to develop primary and secondary schools, we built
hundreds of these schools acrossNigeria.
Yet we need to build on these
achievements by changing our mindset to investing in the resources above the
ground, rather than below the ground.
Once we invest in our citizens, it will
be our time to confidently enter the international stage. Each one of us will
be able to go to any nation and proudly proclaim: I am a citizen of Nigeria.”
When we have a good mindset, we must
also strive for equality.
No investment in our people is going to
pay off if we are unequal.
One area some of the international
community disagreed with me, was that while I was in office, I signed into law
a bill that discriminates against a segment of our population.
This private member bill was put
forwardin the context of polls that showed 98% of Nigerians did not think same
sex marriage should be accepted by our society. This was the highest percentage
of any country surveyed.
The bill was passed by 100% of my
country’s National Assembly. Therefore, as a democratic leader with deep
respect for the Rule of Law, I had to put my seal of approval on it.
However, in the light of deepening
debates for all Nigerians and other citizens of the world to be treated equally
and without discrimination, and with the clear knowledge that the issue of
sexual orientation is still evolving, the nation may, at the appropriate time,
revisit the law.
When it comes to equality, we must all
have the same rights as Nigerian citizens.
Former US Congressman Charles Rangel
noticed the same thing when talking about America, he said “Full participation
in government and society has been a basic right of the country symbolizing the
full citizenship and equal protection of all.”
Equality will promote meritocracy,
growth and security. Tribalism, regionalism and religious intolerance
shouldneverbe acceptable in Nigeria.
Within the Nigerian Federation, anyone,
regardless of their home state should be treated equally and have full
protection under Federal Law.
That is the only way that all Nigerians
can be at home in any part of the country and proudly say “I am a Nigerian
Citizen.”
That is the only way we can eradicate
tribalism, regionalism and religious intolerance before theydestroy our beloved
Nigeria.
The constitution recognizes anyone born
in Nigeria by Nigerian parents as a citizen. We must go the next step and
accept all Nigerians residing in any part of the country as equalcitizens.
Our new Bill of Rights must therefore
amend our constitution to criminalise discrimination of Nigerian citizens
residing in any part of the countrybased on their place of origin.
Indigenes and residents must pay the
same amount for school fees and social services all over the county.
I ask the same question that Eric P.
Liu asks, “The next time someone uses denial of citizenship as a weapon or
brandishes the special status conferred upon him by the accident of birth, ask
him this: What have you done lately to earn it?
Every Nigerian must feel at home in any
part of Nigeria. It is the only way that each of us will be able to say, “Civis
Nigerianus Sum.”
As our country increases its equality,
its cultural value will increase too.
When we increase the cultural value of
Nigeria and show it to the world, not only will people spend their business
dollars in our country, but their vacation dollars too.
You have to buy into the culture of a
country before you decide to visit or invest.
It will become a self-fulfilling
prophecy for our beloved nation.
As we invest in the equality of our
people and strive to make ourselves more equal, the world will take notice.
As our image rises in the eyes of
others, we will become even prouder of our national culture. This will repeat
and repeat in a positive feedback loop where both parts feed each other and
grow as a result.
Before I conclude, let me ask you this:
Which Nigeria do we as citizens want?
An equal or unequal Nigeria?
An educated or uneducated Nigeria?
One Nigeria or many Nigerias?
We all know the answers to these
questions hence my call for a Bill of Rights, based on our shared vision for a
future Nigeria which is…
A Nigeria where you are judged on your
merits and not your origins;
A Nigeria where you can get the
education you want and the future you choose;
A Nigeria whose government serves the
people and is not above the law;
A Nigeria whose government invests in
its resources above the ground and not just the resources below;
A place where we all work together,
rather than allow ourselves to be divided by tribalism or prejudice;
Nothing better sums up this vision for
Nigeria than our national anthem, which sounds as good in prose as it does in
song:
“Arise, O compatriots
Nigeria’s call obey
To serve our fatherland
With love and strength and faith
The labour of our heroes past
Shall never be in vain
To serve with heart and might
One nation bound in freedom
Peace and unity.”
I will leave you with this:I am a
patriot.
I am so very proud of my country.
And I believe it is only right and
proper for me, and every Nigerian to be able to proudly proclaim, in our
villages, in our towns, in our cities, in our country and anywhere in the
world:
“Civis Nigerianus Sum”
I AM A CITIZEN OF NIGERIA
As far as IPOB and the generality of Biafrans are concerned, the NDA is doing the right thing by demanding the freedom our people from the perpetually repressive Nigerian state. Unlike some groups pretending to be Biafran freedom fighters, the NDA and IPOB have a common ideology and objective which is the absolute liberation of the nation of Biafra from the British-contraption created by an alien called Frederick Lugard who is not even a black African. It defies logic to think that a white man can come all the way from Britain to create and name a country in already inhabited Africa for black people,
Niger Delta - Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo
So, my advise remains that he should have a rethink about the recommendation of the National Conference and do something about it. He accepted to continue to implement the projects he inherited from the government; that’s why he budgeted so much money to pay old debts, so much money to continue the projects in the budget and if he has this positive attitude, what is it about the National Conference that he has his mind so made up? I can’t put my finger at it but if he wants to jettison it, let him convene his own under his own template but this country must negotiate, this country must dialogue.
IPOB is a global phenomenon, unprecedented in the history of freedom fighting anywhere on earth. We are all over the world with fanatical following. That IPOB has vowed to maintain a peaceful approach to liberating Biafra from the contraption called Nigeria does not translate to allowing Buhari and his conniving so-called Igbo elites to assassinate Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and go scot-free. That will never happen.
Press Release
INDIGENOUS PEOPLE OF BIAFRA
SUPPORT OUR
KITH &
KIN - THE NIGER DELTA AVENGERS
June
18, 2016
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the leadership of
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu hereby state that we support our kith and kin – the Niger
Delta Avengers (NDA), who are fighting for the freedom of our people from the
enslaving Islamic Republic of Nigerian Government. We want to place it on
record that IPOB under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has no connection
with some groups who are claiming on the pages of Nigerian newspapers that they
do not support our fellow freedom fighters – the NDA.
We make reference to a particular group which is a well-known turncoat and their leader who has been bribed with oil blocks allocations in the oil-rich areas of Biafraland. This same compromised group is known to have started the ugly incidence of kidnapping in Biafraland and their members often used as thugs and hired killers for politicians in Nigeria.
The NDA have consistently stated that
the release of IPOB leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is a precondition for any
discussion with Nigeria. Unfortunately and disgracefully, the incompetent and
intellectually challenged Nigerian Government has swept this demand under the
carpet while magnifying the notion of amnesty payments and resource control as
reasons for the NDA‘s actions. For the avoidance of doubt, the NDA is fighting
for the freedom of the people of Biafra and not for amnesty payment or for
resource control as some commentators would like to believe. When Biafra is
finally liberated from the bondage called Nigeria, resources shall be
controlled by the owners of the land where those resources are located. The
perennially incompetent Nigerian Government should stop deceiving the entire
world into believing that what the freedom fighters of NDA are demanding is
resource control.
Amnesty is associated with criminality
and a people who are fighting for their freedom should not be unjustly termed
criminals. The notion and talk of amnesty for our own freedom fighters (the
NDA) is a misnomer and should be taken out of any discourse. On the contrary,
amnesty should be granted to the Nigerian Government especially to those from
the criminal class masquerading as elites who unjustly appropriated oil &
gas wells and other resources in Biafraland to themselves and their cohorts to
the detriment of the masses. These robbers should be associated with amnesty
for their economic criminality not the NDA.
It defies logic to think that a white man can come all the way from Britain to create and name a country in already inhabited Africa for black people,
Ironically, most of the leaders of the
compromized groups are speaking against the great work that the NDA are doing.
These shameless scavenging Hausa-Fulani sponsored slaves in Biafraland have
placed the needs of their stomach and their families above the overall national
interest of the liberation of their people who are under the enslavement of the
Nigerian Government in concert with the British Government who have never
supported the liberation of any christian country in the world. The leaders of
these obviously compromised groups have gone into hotel business, real estate
industry, oil & gas extraction business and other profit-generating
endeavours and have for long abandoned the quest for the freedom of the people
of Biafra.
It is not a surprise therefore that
these compromized groups have now come out to distance themselves from the
genuine efforts of the NDA that is aimed at fulfilling the yearning and
expectations of every Biafran. We reiterate that IPOB is totally and absolutely
in support of the NDA as they march towards the unconditional liberation of our
people from the evil grip of Nigerian Government. We plead with the NDA not to
be discouraged by the comments and antics of these so-called leaders of these
compromized groups and some other charlatans who parade themselves as freedom
fighters. The NDA should know that the only ally they have now is IPOB under
the leadership of Nnamdi Kanu.
IPOB is warning the extremist Nigerian
Government of Buhari that should they invade any part of Biafraland, as
intelligence indicate they are planning to, then IPOB will order every youth in
Biafraland to join NDA to defend Biafraland. Muhammadu Buhari and his gangs
massacred Biafrans in their millions at Owerri in 1968 but Biafrans will never
allow such atrocity to be repeated on Biafraland ever again. We shall fight to
the last man standing because Biafra is our life and the restoration of the
nation of Biafra is a task that must be achieved.
IPOB wholeheartedly support the NDA as
they work diligently and heroically towards the liberation of all parts of
Biafraland from the Lugard created abomination called Nigeria.

REJOINDER: BARRISTER VINCENT EGECHUKWU
OBETTA
WAS SACKED BY NNAMDI KANU FOR INCOMPETENCE
AND UNPROFESSIONALISM
We read with shock, the lies spewed out
by Barrister Vincent Egechukwu Obetta in his interview with Petrus Obi of Sun
Newspaper on June 21, 2016. To put the records straight, Barrister Obetta was
sacked by the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu. For
working with the DSS to indefinitely detain Nnamdi Kanu, Barrister Obetta was
fired by our leader in person when Obetta visited him at Kuje prison. It is on
record that you, Obetta, refused to work with other lawyers knowing fully well
that this is a major international case requiring the input of more than one
person (Obetta) who as it turns out is a lecturer and not actually a practising
lawyer.
For the avoidance of doubts, it was
Barrister Gab Egbule that secured Nnamdi Kanu’s bail at the Magistrates Court
and not Obetta and the records are there to prove it. It is also on record that
Barristers Ifeanyi Ejiofor and Gab Egbule prepared the arguments that led to
the respected Justice Ademola dismissing the frivolous DSS charge of terrorism and
not Barrister Obetta. It must be revealed to the entire world that when
unconditional release was ordered by the court, Barrister Obetta refused to
file contempt of court charge against the DSS for failing to obey court order.
Had Obetta filed this charge against Buhari and his DSS on behalf of our
leader, no court would have had the effrontery to continue with the bogus
charge of treasonable felony.
It is no secret that Barrister Obetta
worked hand-in-hand with the DSS for financial reward to sabotage the genuine
efforts of other lawyers working to set Nnamdi Kanu free. It was Obetta that
connived with the DSS to advice our leader to reject Justice A. R. Mohammed on
the grounds that he is a Hausa-Fulani Muslim when your fellow lawyers advised
you that Justice Mohammed is a good man. You, Obetta, knew that the removal of
Justice A. R. Mohammed will result in a biased judge like John Tsoho being
brought in to handle the case.
Why did you, Obetta, not stand up in
court to reject Justice Mohammed rather than advising your client, Nnamdi Kanu,
to do so thereby effectively condemning him in the eyes of Nigerian judges who
feel slighted that one of their own was rejected in an open court?
Barrister Obetta, can you tell the
world where you got the money with which you bought a house at Trans-Ekulu in
Enugu? You, Barrister Vincent Obetta, openly canvassed for political
appointment at DSS office as a reward for ensuring that our leader remained
behind bars. It is known to everyone that you, Obetta, connived with DSS to
continue the illegal detention of our leader at DSS dungeon when he should have
been transferred to a prison facility as he is now.
We would like to ask: did you Obetta
not advice our leader to discontinue the court case and remain indefinitely in
prison? These are the reasons why you were sacked. You did not resign, you were
dismissed. Any lawyer in the defence team of our leader who is found to be
afraid of the Nigerian Government, DSS or any of her agents will be sacked no
matter who you are. The case against our leader is the biggest legal case in
the history of Nigeria and we won't let anyone mishandle it.
It is worhty to note that Barrister
Obetta met with Igbo politicians without briefing his client. If Obetta
resigned, how come he ran away with the case file? Obetta thinks IPOB is an
amateurish organisation but he and his DSS handlers are clearly mistaken.
Barrister Obetta will still be cited to the relevant legal authorities for
gross misconduct. If he is in doubt he should ask Judge John Tsoho who will
most definitely be disgraced out of office.
Respectfully yours,

Forgery trial:
Ekweremadu writes U.S
Congress, EU
parliament, others
Posted By: Onyedi Ojiabor, Abujaon: June
28, 2016
Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, on Tuesday
wrote the United Nations, European Union, United States’ Congress, European
Union Parliament, Governments of United States, United Kingdom and other
foreign missions, over his trial for alleged forgery of Senate standing rules.
Ekweremadu raised the alarm over what he described as
attempt to truncate Nigeria’s democracy and “silence him as the leader and
highest ranking member of the opposition in the country, all in the name of
prosecuting an alleged forgery case.”
The letter is a two-page document, entitled: “Re: Trumped up
charges against the presiding officers of the 8th Senate: Nigerian Democracy is
in Grave Danger,” a copy of which was sighted by our reporter in Abuja.
Ekweremadu attached copies of the court summons and other
relevant documents relating to the matter to his letter.
The deputy Senate president noted that he wanted the
international community, to “after perusing the facts before them, decide
whether or not the trial was justified, or one purely borne out of political
vendetta.”
He insisted that neither his name nor that of the president of the Senate,
featured in the petition filed by the aggrieved members of the Senate Unity
Forum (SUF) or during the investigation of the petition by the police.
PRESS STATEMENT BY SEN. EKWEREMADU
DEMOCRACY
ON TRIAL
ABUJA- I presented myself to the Federal Capital
Territory (FCT) High Court today as an ordinary citizen of this great nation to
plead NOT GUILTY to charges I did not and could not have committed.
It is deeply
troubling to note that people in high places who swore to uphold the law have
dwindled into purveyors of falsehood and rumours who seek to smear and tarnish
the reputation of law abiding and responsible citizens as well as cripple the
hallowed institutions of democracy. It is all the more disheartening that
people who should know better use the colour of their office to pursue private
vendetta against people they disagree with.
This grotesque display of vindictiveness, arrogance, and mindless targeting of innocent citizens should find no sanctuary in our democracy. Using the machinery of justice to create disorder is a dangerous and invidious scheme that ultimately will lead Nigeria down the road to perdition. It is Senator Bukola Saraki and Senator Ike Ekweremadu today, who knows whose turn it will be next?
I am a law-abiding citizen and believe in the rule of law and all the rights and privileges it advertises. But, even at that, it is only in my place not to commit crime, but way out of my reach not to be accused of one, especially when instruments of power become apparatuses for oppression of the innocent and voices of opposition.
Indeed, I, in no way or fashion, claim to be above the law, just that I believe that the law should not be used as an instrument to bludgeon innocent citizens into submitting to the untamed wishes and caprices of witch-hunters.
However, I put my trust in God, the court, and the overwhelming solidarity of the good people of Nigeria. When the dust settles, Nigerians will see clearly that this charge is nothing but meretricious thrash. Time, occasions, and provocations like this will teach their own lessons. I hope that one chief lesson will be that democracy differs markedly from military rule and that public officer should never subvert the foundations of democracy by prioritizing the rule of man over the rule of law.
Let us make no mistake about this: it is not Senator Ike Ekweremadu or Senator Bukola Saraki or the other accused persons that are on trial; rather the hallowed democratic principles of separation of powers, rule of law, the legislature, and indeed democracy itself are on a ridiculous trial.

Mere anarchy is unleashed upon the land, but our
courage must not fall apart. No condition is permanent and nothing lasts
forever.
For me, I find great comfort in the immortal words of
late Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe who said that history will vindicate the just and the
wicked will not go unpunished.

JUST IN!!! (UNBELIEVABLE)
See What APC Chieftains
Asked
Buhari to do with Nnamdi Kanu
1st July 2016
One of the
chieftains of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Chief Tobby Anumaka,
Patron Okpoko Igbo, has appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari concerning the
detention of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu.
In the interview granted to the DailySun he stated that
the change mantra of the incumbent government is on course, while asking
President Muhamamdu Buhari to release Kanu unconditionally.
Anumaka
added that Igbo leaders should be blamed for the plight of the leader of
Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mr. Nnamdi Kanu. He said: “We have five
governors and traditional rulers, how come nobody is saying anything.
The republican nature of Ndigbo is affecting us negatively. Our
leaders must be honest and sincere. They cannot claim to be leading us while
they are leading us into the ocean. Most of them are after their personal
interest and not the collective gain of Ndigbo unlike the Yoruba and those from
the Niger Delta who always mount pressure on government to release their
activists whenever they fallout with government over agitation for their
collective interest”.
“Look at what happened during the last presidential election; if
not for Okorocha, Igbo would have lost out completely. No Igbo leader has come
out openly and called for the release of Nnamdi Kanu. Even though I’m not in
support of breakup of Nigeria, but Kanu has the right to self-determination.
Where are the South-East governors, those at the National Assembly and
traditional rulers? Apart from Prof. Ben Nwabueze who is an old man, where are
other vibrant Igbo leaders? Why the conspiracy of silence of Igbo leaders over
the release of Kanu? Don’t blame Buhari for Kanu’s ordeal but Igbo leaders. The
people of South-East are waiting for their leaders to inspire them towards
agitation of Kanu’s release”.
“Therefore, I’m using this medium to call on the Federal
government to release Mr. Kanu unconditionally”, the politician added.
President Buhari has previously defined Kanu, who holds dual U.K. and Nigerian
nationality, as a flight risk and suggested that he should not be granted bail.
The president has also said that Nigeria “will not tolerate” pro-Biafra
activists interfering with Nigerian security or the economy.
Meanwhile, the Imo state governor, Rochas Okorocha, has dismissed
the current agitation for Biafra, saying that even the Igbo god of thunder,
‘Amadioha’ cannot resurrect the project which is dead and long buried.
The
governor who dismissed the current agitation for Biafra, told the forum
that ‘Biafra has long been dead and not even Amadioha can resurrect it,’ adding
that ‘they should be grateful that President Buhari apprehended a criminal and
terrorist like Nnamdi Kanu who deserves to be punished for his crimes.’
Governor
Okorocha said: “On behalf of all the state governors in the eastern region, we
have unanimously agreed with President Buhari not to release that terrorist
and troublesome boy who does not know his roots. Nigeria will remain as
one and the Igbos will be part of it.”
He warned
that very soon many youths will lose their lives unnecessarily in the name of
the struggle, reminding the elders that even the former leader of the Biafran
republic, Chief Odumegwu Ojukwu made it clear that another war of secession was
not needed before he died in 2011.

: Terrorism: DSS lied against us —IPOB •Berates Secret Police ;-
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has faulted a statement credited to the Department of State Services (DSS), describing it as a spurious attempt at criminalising Biafrans and branding IPOB a terrorist organisation.
In a statement issued on Friday by IPOB Spokespersons, Barrister Emma Nmezu and Dr. Clifford Chukwuemeka Iroanya, the group said that the DSS had sent out to the media, a statement in which it claimed that “sequel to increasing threat posed to public peace by the activities of the Independent [sic] People of Biafra (IPOB), this Service arrested one Chidiebere Onwudiwe, a graduate of mechanical and chemical Engineering and known member of IPOB, on 22nd June, 2016,” a statement it described as incoherent and error-filled.
The group also quoted the DSS as having claimed in their statement that “Onwudiwe and his associates within and outside the country, were planning to carry out coordinated attacks against religious bodies/edifices, police check points and the Computer Village in Ikeja, Lagos State, with Improvised Explosive devices (IEDS)” and that “The suspect was apprehended while making logistics supplies for their nefarious plan.” Again, IPOB dismissed the writers of the statement as lacking in knowledge.
“First of all, let us just point out only two out of the several errors in this pack of lies from the DSS’ statement; (1) We are Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and NOT “Independent People of Biafra”. Even in the records of all the court cases concerning the illegal kidnapping and unconstitutional prosecution of our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to which the DSS have been part of, there was no place where the word “INDEPENDENT” was used and (2) At which University in Nigeria can someone graduate in both Mechanical Engineering and Chemical Engineering at the same time? Even in the more advanced countries it is very difficult to achieve such a feat not to talk of the Buhari’s run-down universities in Nigeria.”
The group described as laughable, that the DSS is accusing IPOB of posing increasing threat to public peace while they have not made a single official statement concerning the mayhem and havoc being exhibited everyday by Boko Haram and the so-called Fulani herdsmen.
“Up till today, the DSS has maintained stoic silence on the killings at Agatu and Nimbo.
Perhaps those killings do not pose threats to public peace because the people killed were ‘infidels’ that deserve to die as they are not of the Hausa-Fulani Islamic blood. It is very interesting to know from the DSS that IPOB can now manufacture IEDS and Chidiebere was probably manufacturing them in his sleep when DSS broke into his house and kidnapped him at about 2am on June 22nd, 2016. We want to tell the DSS that we know their objectives and every discerning mind knows them too.”
The group also alleged that the DSS is trying as much as possible to tag IPOB a violent group. “The questions we want to ask the DSS are: Do we cover our faces when we march on the streets around the world? We are registered at the UN. If we are a violent group won't the UN know? Kidnapping people in the middle of the night, denying them access to food and water, legal and medical help in the hope of getting IPOB members to testify against the leader of IPOB will not work. The fact that this DSS even contemplated insinuating that Computer Village, mostly owned by Biafrans of Igbo extraction, is a target for such an attack exposes those that run Buhari’s Secret Police. If the DSS likes, let them kidnap, kill, torture and threaten as many Biafrans as they like but one thing they can never succeed in doing is to weaken our resolve to leave the Lugardian contraption called Nigeria.
“We are prepared for imprisonment, torture and death at the hands of the dictatorial and extremist regime of Buhari but in the end Biafra shall come. There is nothing the Arewa-dominated DSS and Igbo traitors like Ikedife, Enwo-Igariwey, Joe-Judas Igbokwe, Monday Ubani, Peter Obi, Willie Obiano, Rochas Okorocha and Okezie Ikpeazu with a few other Lagos/Abuja based political jobbers can do about it.
“The DSS can continue to use Ikedife and the likes of Enwo-Igariwe within Ohanaeze as sources of information on how to arrest Biafrans and tag IPOB a violent group. It is on record that no prominent Yoruba or Hausa-Fulani person has ever labelled IPOB violent but Ohanaeze President (Enwo-Igariwey) and Dr. Dozie Ikedife in their slavish desire to please their Arewa masters have variously granted interviews where they explicitly implied that IPOB under the leadership of Nnamdi Kanu is violent. They have been doing their master’s bidding out of envy, greed and jealousy because the steadfastness of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu has exposed the charade and sell-out that these men have become. Dr. Dozie Ikedife, working at the instructions of DSS, gave an interview to an anti-Biafra newspaper where he shamefully called IPOB violent and a propagator of ethnic hatred.
“This paved the way for DSS to come out yesterday to laughably label IPOB a terrorist group trying to bomb Biafran businesses in Ikeja-Lagos. The world must be placed on notice that should anything untoward happen in and around Ikeja area, the DSS should be held responsible.
“Irrespective of the shenanigans of Buhari and his DSS and the subterfuge of the Igbo-slaves in the molds of Ikedife, Enwo-Igariwey and co, the nation of Biafra must be restored,” IPOB wrote in the statement.

PRESS RELEASE:
By Ubulu uku Kingdom
July 2nd 2016
FINALLY HRH OBI CHUKWUKA NOAH
AKAEZE 1, CONFIRMED KING OF UBULU UKU KINGDOM.
In view of the event of the past
month on the issue of the succession tussle in ubulu uku. We are happy and glad
to tell ndi Ubulu uku that Hrh Obi Chukwuka Noah Akaeze has been confirmed the
obi of Ubulu uku kingdom. This news was disclosed on Tuesday after a meeting
held at Asaba the State Capital. The succession tussle that started in 2010
caused lots of problems in ubulu uku. All over the media and newspapers and on
the internet blog sites we read publications and press release about the throne
and the monarchy of ubulu uku. We are familiar with some group in Ubulu uku
addressed as Ubulu uku Situation Room laying claim that the late king of ubulu
uku was an usurper and that prince okwuchukwu is the incumbent king of the
kingdom. Prince Okwuchukwu was the elder brother of the late monarch, Hrh Obi
Edward Akaeze Ofulue 111. Ubulu uku s primogeniture state that the first son of
an incumbent king automatically becomes the next king. But there could be
abdication as we all have seen and heard in thr history of ubulu uku.
To
abdicate means to leave the throne for another. It may be yur cousin, uncle,
younger brother. This principles applies in all primogenitures. Prince
Okwuchukwu s status as the heir apparent to the throne is questionable. He was
not known by ndi ubulu uku as the dynast. He was not the first son that was
presented to the throne, he was not seen in ubulu uku until 1985 when he was
brought home by late Don Abili Mordi and some others . People like Obadiah Don
Abili mordi layed the foundation for this present crisis in ubulu uku. When the
prince was brough home for the first time in ubulu uku, the was present to the
people by his father as the prince. But at this time the heir apparent ie the
king to be have been born and chosen. Everybody in ubulu uku knew that the obi
had a son but Obi Akaeze will be the king. Immediately when their father died
Obi Akaeze was called upon to become the king. His reign witnessed lots of
troubles from his opposers because of their quest to crown his brother from
another mother. This matter have been in court of Delta State, many people have
been confused in ubulu uku . Some blindfolded fools even come to facebook to
write against the king.
Later on the 5th of January the
king was kidnapped and murdered by fulani herdsmen and his decomposing body was
found at Ekpon in Edo State by 3pm on the 21st of January 2016. The news of the
obi s death brought disgrace to the land, slapped and blew all the faces of ndi
ubulu uku and others.
After the death of the king , his
opposers made mockery of his death and rejoiced, thinking that ndi ubulu uku
will come to meet them to crown the new king. Their write ups and comments on
fb about the late king is still under investigation. The death of obi Akaeze
follows the installation of a new king in ubulu uku. He is the first son of obi
Akaeze, Hrh Obi Chukwuka Noah Akaeze 1 the aniyem of ubulu uku kingdom. The
newly crowned king . The presentation of the newly crowned king followed the
fulfillment of the different traditional rites that led to his crowning by the
kingmakers in Ubulu uku. He was first and foremost presented to the members of
the royal family before the presentation to the council of elders at the
palace. The presentation ceremony was attended by prominent citizens including Comrade
Jones Ofunne, Present of UDU worldwide, Aniocha South LGA chairman, Dr. Isaac
Anwuzia, traditional chiefs, and title holders in ubulu uku kingdom, religious
leaders, women and youths and other stake holders.
We the entire people of ubulu uku
kingdom are awaiting the next event in the history of ubulu uku and that is the
full coronation anniversary and the issuance of the staff of office to the
newly crowned king by the Delta State Governent. The oppossers of the king king
was silenced on Tuesday 28th of June 2016 following the confirmation of the
first son obi Akaeze Hrh Obi Chukwuka Akaeze as the new king. The commissioner
of information, Patrick Ukah also have disclosed that Prince Okwuchukwu did not
send any petition to them.

MUHAMMADU BUHARI
HAS RESORTED TO
KIDNAPPINGS,
ABDUCTIONS, AND
SILENT
MURDER OF BIAFRANS
Retired Major General Muhammadu Buhari has now resorted to
kidnappings, abductions, and silent murder of Biafrans as a response to the
United Nations-backed quest for self-determination being undertaken in a
peaceful/non-violent manner by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the
leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. There have been several cases of abductions and
kidnapping of Biafrans by the agents of Buhari called the Department of State
Services (DSS) which started on October 14, 2015 with the kidnapping of Mazi
Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of IPOB. Following the abduction of the IPOB leader,
hundreds of Biafrans have been kidnapped by the DSS and other agents of Buhari.
For instance, the DSS broke into the house of Mazi Chidiebere
Onwudiwe at 2am on the 22nd of June 2016 and abducted him. After several days
of Chidiebere's kidnapping, the DSS cooked up a story bothering on terrorism
which has since been dismissed by both Nigerians and the Western world because
it was clear that the DSS lied. It is also on record that the Nigerian Army
based at Ukwa in Abia state, under the instruction of Buhari, abducted Chief
Ndubuisi Arum Okoh of No. 20 Anaba Street, New Umuahia Road, Ogbor-Hill, Aba
and since then no one has seen him or heard from him.
Muhammadu Buhari has shown to the world that he admires the
leadership styles of infamous characters such as Idi Amin, Adolf Hitler, Benito
Mussolini, Joseph Stalin, Augusto Pinochet, Pol Pot and other brutal dictators
in human history. The world is already tired of killers and mass murderers
masquerading as leaders and rulers. Biafrans are still counting the millions of
their citizens murdered by Yakubu Gowon and his acolytes when they carried out
genocide on Biafra between 1966 and 1970. Is Buhari planning to continue from
where Yakubu Gowon stopped? But why is Buhari so fascinated with the
abductions, kidnapping and silent killing of Biafrans in a peace-time
environment?
The single reason why Buhari and his agents are abducting and
killing Biafrans is to force them to testify against the leader of IPOB because
Buhari has discovered to his chagrin that he does not have any case against
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Therefore he is desperate to get witnesses to lie against the
IPOB leader in order to find him guilty and jail him.
The International Criminal Court (ICC), Amnesty International,
Human Rights Watch, the EU, and other well-meaning organizations are hereby put
on notice that the latest modus operandi of the desperate president of Nigeria
is the planned abductions, kidnappings, and silent killing of Biafrans in order
to awe and intimidate them into becoming false witnesses in the trumped-up
charges against the leader of IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. On the other hand, the
world must be made to understand that no amount of abductions, kidnappings,
killings or any other acts of subterfuge can dampen the spirit of Biafrans who
are hell-bent on restoration of the nation of Biafra which was formally
declared on the 30th of May, 1967.
For Biafrans in Biafraland, you should be mindful of those who
might come to your meetings pretending to be part of you. We know that Ohaneze
and Bilie Human Rights of Dozie Ikedife are working for Buhari to frustrate the
restoration of Biafra by pointing out hardcore IPOB family members and
leadership to the authorities in Nigeria. IPOB would like to use this
opportunity to warn Igbo groups and associations to impress upon their members
the consequences of collaborating with Buhari's murderous security apparatus.
The same way that Nazi collaborators who worked for Hitler were hunted down and
brought to justice by Israel is how IPOB will fish out all Buhari collaborators
at the right time. If anyone is working with Ohaneze of Enwo-Igariwey and Dozie
Ikedife to undermine Biafra they will have themselves to blame at the appointed
time.
We re-emphasize once again to Buhari and his co-abductors and
kidnappers that the restoration of the nation of Biafra is sacrosanct and takes
precedence over and above any other thing.
The restoration of the nation of Biafra is simply
unstoppable/irreversible!!!

STATE
OF THE NATION:
Releasing Nnamdi Kanu Is
The First Step To
Restructuring Nigeria
- Prof
Jerry Gana.
The formal Minister of the defunct Ministry of Information and
National Orientation, Prof Jerry Gana at the 17th anniversary of Igbo Youth
Movement in Enugu, called on Muhammadu Buhari to release the leader of
indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) who has done nothing but called for the
restoration of Biafra.
Gana argued that Nnamdi Kanu who has been in detention since October 14th 2015 has the right to call for self-determination and believing that his arrest was uncalled for, a mistake that must be corrected. He was more concerned about the circumstance that led to Nnamdi Kau’s agitation than the agitation itself.
The Niger State born professor however, stated that Nnamdi Kanu is only responding to Nigerian as a failed state that worsened under Buhari. Nnamdi Kanu is the spark plug for Biafra restoration and arresting him was stoking the flame of Biafra that has left Nigeria bleeding since last year. He argued that had true federalism been implemented, Nnamdi Kanu’s agitation would not gain the 100% backing and support it has today.
“Release Nnamdi Kanu and restructure Nigeria which is the only solution” he said while responding to questions. He was filled with smile and expressed satisfaction that despite being in prison, Nnamdi still command respect. He was one of those that clapped and smiled when Nnamdi Kanu’s award was announced.
Since Nnamdi Kanu was arrested, there have been uneasy calm in old eastern region that is Biafra. Youths, fathers and mothers came out on the street with placards which often destabilizes economic activities due to the mammoth crowd that troops out in solidarity. The federal government of Nigeria has shown cluelessness in handling the situation which has only worsened or heated the polity.
Buhari resorted to use of maximum force against unarmed and peaceful Biafrans that are only taking advantage of the tenet of democracy. Nigerian forces under the command of Buhari have brutally shot to kill Biafra agitators. Shooting unarmed Biafrans was the solution Buhari can offer and the decision only worsened the situation as agitators get motivated instead of retreating. “We have lost lives and continue losing; we won’t retreat because of that”
Buhari has come under intense criticism but have not shown any sign of repenting, hundreds of Biafrans have been killed and instead of deterring others, it has only motivated and fueled the agitation.
Gana faulted Buhari’s approach and cautioned that Killing agitating youths will never solve any problem. “Had we embraced true federalism, all these won’t be happening. The youths agitating are doing what should be done to save this country” he said
Gana is of the view that only releasing Nnamdi Kanu will bring an end to the many problems Nigeria is facing. “Release Nnamdi Kanu and all these problems will be over, very simple”
Earlier, the founder of IYM, Elliot Uko, said that the event was to honour prominent Nigerians who had contributed to the growth and development of the country.
He said Igbo youth were committed to building a stronger Nigeria and to reduce the tension in the region, adding that true federalism would help the country to grow and prosper.
The highlight of the event was presentation of awards to Messrs. Gana, Adebayo, detained Biafra secessionist leader, Nnamdi Kanu, and Ms. Briggs.
The event was also attended by former governors of Anambra, Chukwuemeka Ezeife and Peter Obi, and students from tertiary institutions in the South-East.
Gana argued that Nnamdi Kanu who has been in detention since October 14th 2015 has the right to call for self-determination and believing that his arrest was uncalled for, a mistake that must be corrected. Nnamdi Kanu's release will end
tensions in South-East,
Niger Delta - Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo
The President of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Worldwide, Chief Gary Nnachi
Enwo-Igariwey has expressed concern over the continual detention of the
Director of Radio Biafra, London, Mr Nnamdi Kanu by the Nigerian security,
describing it as one of the reasons for the tension in the country, especially
in the South-East and South-south zones.
Igariwey spoke
exclusively with The AUTHORITY at the pre-summit meeting of stakeholders, which
held at Gregory University, Uturu, Abia State between 1st and 3rd July, 2016.
Responding to questions, he argued that it was wrong for President Muhammadu
Buhari to ignore pro-Biafran agitators who have continually expressed
dissatisfaction with government policies when he begged the Niger Delta
Avengers to end hostilities and stop bombing oil facilities.
His words; “it was
wrong for the president to ignore the pro-Biafran agitators. You can be
surprised at whAt effective communication can do in the time of crises. I
think that the pro-Biafrans have genuine complaints. They didn’t just wake up
and start asking for Biafra. They are frustrated and that’s why they are asking
for Biafra. They feel that they have been abandoned. Look at the roads in the
South East, look at the Enugu-Onitsha road, look at the Enugu-Port Harcourt
road. It’s enough to frustrate anybody. These are some of the things. Mr
President must listen to them, he must hear them out. By listening to them,
maybe some of these problems may be solved.
He also stated that
for Ohanaeze, restructuring Nigeria into federations units answerable to the
Federal Governmnet was the only answer to solving the Courtney’s problems of
underdevelopment, rebellions and corruption; “We also think that by restructuring,
the blame for non development in the regions will be directed at the federating
units, not the center. The Nigerian system is too large to pretend to have the
answers to all the problems that get to the center. It’s not feasible. That is
why many things are not working.
“For instance, how can
the president know that the bore hole in my village is not working? He has
never been there, he doesn’t even know my village exists. How can he know? But
if you decentralize and bring government to the federalist units, it is easy
for a governor to understand if you tell him that this road is bad, because he
knows the road. It leads to his village. And when there is problem, the people
can hold him responsible, not the Federal Government that is an octopus.
So we can’t run away
from restructuring. That is the only thing that will save this country. It’s an
assignment that must be completed no matter how much we run away from it”.
He also expressed the
position of the umbrella Igbo group concerning Nnamdi Kanu; “For us, we have
stated much earlier that it’s not wise to hold him. He appears to be the
rallying point of those demonstrating. As long as you keep holding him, there
will always be this disturbance, because you have not listened to them. So it
is in the interest of the government to release him and negotiate with the
people. Dialogue they say, is always the answer.
Chief Enwo-Igariwey
also described the instance whereby Igbos invest 100 percent of their resources
abroad and establish zero industries in Igboland, across the South East and
South South; “It’s a very big mistake. Igbos have an adage; ‘aku ruo uno,
amara nobu aku’ (when wealth reaches home, it is then regarded as true
wealth). As long as your wealth is in another man’s land, it’s not yours. One
day, he can get jealous and set it on fire. It has happened before, and can
still happen again. Only a foolhardy person will continue to invest on the
road. We must keep encouraging our people to invest at home. If we don’t do
it, we will perish”.
On the upcoming World
Igbo Summit slated for August 2016, he advised the organizers; “We have assembled
some of our best in the academia. We are only hoping, like I told them, that
they must understand the problems they are going to face. It’s important that
we approach it from an intellectual viewpoint. But also look at them from the
political viewpoint, marry the two and understand how to get a solution”.
Eunice Elisha Murder: ‘Christians Should Defend Themselves Against
Religious Hatred’: CAN Issues Statement
By News Release - Jul 12, 2016
PRESS STATEMENT BY CAN
NIGERIA: A MACABRE DANCE OF DEATH
The National leadership and the entire members of Christian
Association of Nigeria, CAN, have received with rude shock and disbelief the
report of yet another religious hatred motivated gruesome murder of a dedicated
42-year-old Christian mother of seven children, Mrs. Eunice Elisha, who on
Saturday 9th July, 2016, was brutally killed while doing
Christian evangelism.
Mrs. Eunice Elisha was murdered in Kubwa area of Abuja, FCT, in
the early hours of the day. Her neck was slashed and she was also stabbed in
the stomach. About a month ago in Kano, Mrs. Bridget Agbaheme, a 74 year old
Christian was murdered at Wambai market due
to an altercation with a Muslim man who came to the front of her shop to
perform ablution. Her offence was that she objected to the Islamic washing rite
in front of her shop.
Just last week a clergyman of the Evangelical Church Winning All
(ECWA) Reverend Zakariya was killed by attackers suspected to be Fulani
Herdsmen in Obi LGA of Nasarawa state. They attacked him on his farm, cut off
his arms and legs, then they chopped his head with a machete. Another fresh but
sad news reaching us is that of the Fulani herdsmen militia that is back on rampage killing 81 people in
multiple attacks in Logo and Ukum local government areas of Benue state in
central Nigeria.
In recent times, there have been multiple cases of attacks by
Fulani herdsmen on various Christian communities, all over the nation. In the
South East and in the South South zones, there have been gruesome attacks on
IPOB members and on Christian communities in the Niger Delta. All these are in
addition to the relentless attacks of Boko Haram and Fulani herdsmen in the
Middle Belt and southern Borno.
The Christian Association of Nigeria commiserates with the
families affected by these mindless orgies of death and destruction as well as
with the entire Christian community in Nigeria. We pray that God in His mercy
shall comfort and strengthen the families of all the Nigerians affected in
these unwarranted murders unleashed upon the nation by religious extremists.
The recurring
decimal of violence and murder of innocent Nigerian citizens on the basis of
religious intolerance demands specific and relevant response from all concerned
citizens in the country more so when the government in power seems to have
adopted an attitude of lukewarm response to the evils being perpetrated in
Nigeria in the name of religion.
The discrimination against non-Muslims in Nigeria under the Buhari
Administration is assuming a dangerous dimension that should not be left to the
vagaries of time and circumstance to resolve.
You will agree with me that with these
happenings and the lukewarm attitude by the authorities concern toward putting
an end to it, Nigeria is dancing a macabre dance of death, both for the nation
and for its citizens. It is time to stop the beat and let common sense guide
the nation out of the present quagmire. A stitch in time saves nine.
Before the situation escalates into an unmanageable national
crisis, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) is calling on the
authorities both at the states and federal to do everything possible to bring
the perpetrators to justice if the confidence of Christians on this government
must be maintained.
The unprovoked attacks on Christians and the authority’s
inaction is becoming unbearable and may not be tolerated anymore, inasmuch as
we will continue to call on Christians to remain tolerant and law abiding, it
is becoming inevitable to also call on them to buckle up and be ready to defend
themselves against these incessant unprovoked and mindless attacks.
Signed…
Rev. Dr. Musa Asake

Association of Nigeria (CAN)

IGATA,
ENUGU
United Progressives Party,UPP, presidential candidate in the last
general elections, Chief Chekwas Okorie,in this interview, says worsening
socio-economic situation in the South-East and South-South is responsible
for the strident calls for secession. Excerpts… Okorie What is your impression
about the Biafra anniversary that turned bloody and the struggle for secession
from Nigerian state?
The
government we have today has an attitude towards the agitators for a separate
state of Biafra which to my mind will not resolve the issues amicably. The
attitude of the government is that there is no basis for dialogue. But
the advice that I have given over and over again is that there is need
for dialogue, there is need to discuss. Many eminent Nigerians have
advocated for dialogue. President Buhari has repeatedly said that the people
who are agitating, most of them were not born during or before the war and,
therefore, will not know what most of those who participated on both
sides suffered and by his figures, Nigeria lost two million people.
I don’t know
how he arrived at the two million to know which side lost more. And my attitude
is that the fact that majority of these people were not born is the more
reason they should be brought to the negotiation table. Buhari does not need to
be involved personally, he is the president of Nigeria. There are so many
agencies of government that can do that on their own or as a team. The office
of the National Security Adviser,NSA, can handle this issue of dialogue, the
Directorate of State Security can do it; even the office of the Inspector
General of Police can handle it. These are security agencies and departments of
government that can handle this without direct involvement of the President and
eventually advise the President on the best way to go.
These young
men cannot understand. We their fathers and elders cannot sufficiently convince
them and nobody in Nigeria can explain to them why their situation is this
miserable, nobody can tell them why their condition, compared to their peers
from other parts of the country, is widely different. Nobody can tell them why
a graduate will remain unemployed for several years and his counterpart
from another part of the country, especially from the North, will
have jobs waiting for him even before graduation and, by the time some of them
eventually get a place, they are subordinates to people they graduated the same
year with.
Nobody can
tell them why to gain admission into university that somebody with about 200
points at University Matriculation Examination may not be considered to
have earned enough to be admitted and another person from another part of the
country with less than 100 points will gain admission. What is the implication?
The implication is that while he is still waiting to have that figure, that
number that will admit him, that one that he is more brilliant than is ahead of
him.
There are so
many things you can’t explain to these people and efforts have been made to
restructure Nigeria, efforts have been made to remove some of the obnoxious
policies but these have been restricted and so some of these people feel that
if they confront government, they are dead, if they fail to confront
government, they are dead. So when you now sit them down and explain a few
things to them and give them hope, perhaps their methods will be different,
perhaps their attitude will be different and some of us who are their elders
will also have a little peace of mind because, let nobody joke about it, most
of us in our age and situation are under pressure too.
We are even
branded saboteurs, we are called names. If you go to social media, some of us
are called names because the youths believe we have not done enough for them
and we are asking government, ‘help us to help the country and also talk to
these people’. We have been looking at a situation where government is looking
for any way they can speak to leaders of Boko Haram.
Meanwhile,
they don’t even know who their leaders are, they don’t even have
access to them. If there is any chance that Niger Delta Avengers leaders are
ready to discuss, government will have some relief. If the Shiite Muslims, who
are a different sect from the Sunni and are also fighting in the North, are
ready to sit down and discuss, the government will have some relief. Why is any
body reluctant to open dialogue with these ones whose leaders are known?
These
agitators are not hiding because they have chosen a none-violent approach. Is
it when they have gone underground that anybody will begin to look for them to
discuss? When it gets to that point, it will be a bit late and some of us who
are prepared to stick out our necks out and broker discussion would have lost
any form of legitimacy to invite the Avengers and pro-Biafra agitators to discuss.
So, I continue to insist on the dialogue option because nothing tells me that
there is another way.
The last
government organised a National Conference. Looking at the discordant tunes
emanating from different geo-political zones, what do you advise? My position
has been consistent and I have not seen any reason to change that position and
that is that the recommendations of the conference should be
implemented. I do not know who it hurts really, if those
recommendations are implemented. I say this because that conference was not at
the behest of the last government;it was a
result of the pressure from different sections of the country that there was
need for a National Conference. It will appear that the government became
responsive and organized the conference. All the 36 states of Nigeria sent to
the conference delegates they considered as their first eleven. The government
of the day gave political parties which had elected people in the National
Assembly slots to attend the conference.
APC was the
only political party that did not take up its. But if all the 36 states
sent delegates, it then means that majority of the states who
are APC states sent delegates to that conference. And President
Buhari has admitted by his own comment that nine billion Naira of public funds
was spent on that conference even though he considered it a waste. I would have
thought that what he will do was to justify that expenditure; after all
government is a continuum; and look at the recommendations. But he said
he has not read it, he had no intention to read it, he has no intention to set
up any committee to form an opinion and advise him and that it will be sent to
the archives.
I find that very disturbing. My appeal here again is for him to
have a rethink because the international community is watching. And
the Biafran thing, there has been no attempt to suppress it here in Nigeria but
it has happened in over one hundred countries outside Nigeria same
day. The international community is watching and seeing that there is
instability and chances of more instability that will not help us.
The
President has a very robust ambitious budget, the largest Nigeria has ever had
since independence, which, if implemented , will bring economic stability and
he may end up being a very great President but, with this attitude, I wonder
which investor will walk into an inferno to invest; with this attitude, I
wonder what type of peace, stability that will allow the economy to
grow.
Biafra:
End Problems Facing Nigeria by Releasi ng Kanu- Dr. Clifford Iroanya
When the dust settles over the
numerous calls for separation and restructuring in Nigeria, the world will know
that it all started with the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu. Fortuitously, Retired Major
General Muhammadu Buhari’s public approval rating was 80% in October 2015, the
same month he illegally kidnapped Nnamdi Kanu. Ever since, Buhari’s personal
political standing as well as Nigeria’s economic well-being has nose-dived to
30% approval rating as at July 2016. As Prophet Nwoko had predicted, “Heaven
will strike if Nnamdi Kanu is not released.”
We recall that on the 14th of
October 2016, agents of Buhari known as the Department of State Services (DSS)
trailed Nnamdi Kanu to his hotel in Lagos as he was on transit to Biafraland
and arrested him. After several physical abuse and torture, he was flown to
Abuja for further torture and physical abuse. Desperate to jail Nnamdi Kanu,
the DSS raised several trumped-up charges which were summarily dismissed by the
courts. Both Magistrate and High courts issued orders for the unconditional
release of Nnamdi Kanu but Buhari’s DSS refused to obey the court orders.
On the 30th of December 2015,
Buhari boasted to the global viewing audience that Nnamdi Kanu will never be
released. In the meantime, as Biafrans in Biafraland gathered to pray for the
success of their leader, Nnamdi Kanu, in the legal battle against the DSS,
Buhari ordered his military and other security agencies to open fire at them,
which resulted in the death of scores of Biafrans. Recently, on the 30th of May
2016, Buhari in conjunction with the governor of Anambra state—Willie Obiano,
deployed the Nigerian Army from Onitsha military barracks who shot and killed
over 200 unarmed peaceful Biafrans that gathered to commemorate the day Biafra
was formally declared (49 years ago) as well as remember the fallen heroes of
the war of genocide levied on Biafra by Nigeria and Britain.
Between the illegal detention of
Nnamdi Kanu and the massacre of Biafrans on the 30th of May 2016, Buhari has
steadily and continually engaged in ethnic cleansing of the Biafran people. His
killing spree on Biafrans and the despoliation of the Biafran environment plus
the refusal to obey court orders on the release of Nnamdi Kanu were harbingers
to the emergence of diverse freedom-fighting groups which Buhari and his
acolytes nicknamed militants. One of these freedom-fighting groups is the Niger
Delta Avengers (NDA). The NDA has dealt a devastating blow in the oil and gas
industry and for which hydrocarbon production has plummeted.
The political environment in
Nigeria has remained unstable. Nigeria has developed irreparable fault lines
engendered by Buhari’s inept partisan governance style and his non-observance
of the ethos of democracy and the rule of law. Both Executive and Legislative
arms of government are confused, unproductive, and antithetical to democratic
objectives. Instead of Buhari to carry out reflexive praxis on the many issues
bedeviling the country he claims to be the president of, he is busy beating war
drums and enjoying his pastime which is the slaughter of innocent Biafrans.
Unknown to Buhari, the root cause of the aforementioned political woes facing
his country is the illegal incarceration of Nnamdi Kanu and the flagrant
disobedience of court orders related to the unconditional release of Mr. Kanu.
As a matter of fact, the call for restructuring wouldn’t have happened if not
for Nnamdi Kanu’s well-articulated and relentless pursuit of Biafra and
Buhari’s dictatorial nature of interfering with the judiciary.
Meanwhile, the social spectrum is
also badly hit by Buhari’s lack of basic understanding of how democracy works
and the need to subject himself to the law of the land which he swore to uphold
and obey under Schedule-7 of Nigeria’s Constitution. Several thousands of lives
have been avoidable lost to terrorist attacks coming from Islamic
fundamentalists of Northern extraction under the protection of Buhari. From
Borno to Benue and from Potiskum to Port-Harcourt, several lives have been cut
short courtesy of a dysfunctional security and law enforcement system. People
are now walking and looking over their shoulders and around them while thanking
their creator for sparing every minute of their lives. This was not the
situation prior to the illegal incarceration of Nnamdi Kanu.
The jet speed with which the
economy of Nigeria descended into the abyss since the illegal incarceration of
Nnamdi Kanu has been unprecedented. Readers should take time to review the
economy of Nigeria before and after the illegal arrest of Nnamdi Kanu. Today,
the only income-generating resource (Crude oil) for Nigeria is at all-time low.
Even the Managers of Nigeria’s finances have openly confessed that Nigeria will
not be able to execute 50% of planned projects because of the activities of
militants who are all in unison in their demand for the unconditional release
of Nnamdi Kanu. As a matter of fact, the investors in oil and gas in Nigeria
should blame Buhari for the activities of NDA and other militants because if
Buhari had released Nnamdi Kanu there would not have been the destruction of
oil and gas pipeline and facilities nor would there be any momentum or impetus
for other separatist groups to emerge. If the present trend continues Nnamdi
Kanu would have succeed in destroying Nigerian economy as militants will not
stop blowing up pipelines until one of their key demands are met which is his
release. In particular, the militants’ demand for the unconditional release
Nnamdi Kanu is 7th item on their list of demands and the question bothering
everybody’s mind is why Buhari and his government have chosen to downplay
demand #7 when that is the only opening available to them to make meaningful
human contact with the militants.
Religious bigotry has reached a
crescendo in Nigeria under the presidency of Buhari especially since the
illegal incarceration of Nnamdi Kanu. There have been beheadings of Christians
by Islamic fundamentalists, lynching of non-Muslims by Boko Haram members, and
outright mass-murder of Shiite Muslims by Sunni-practicing members of Buhari’s
armed forces. Buhari deployed Boko Haram members to Biafraland to rampage and
massacre Christians especially members of Indigenous People of Biafra under the
leadership of Nnamdi Kanu. Buhari did this with the sole aim of stifling the
quest for the restoration of the nation of Biafra.
The Judiciary has been completely
compromised and put under the direct dictation of Buhari from the time Nnamdi
Kanu was illegally arrested. Most Judges now pander to the whims and caprices
of Buhari for fear of being dismissed from service or killed in a mysterious
manner. The shenanigans going on in the court room of Justice John Tsoho speak
for itself. The independence of the Judiciary is now an unknown phenomenon in
Buhari’s Nigeria.
Nigeria is truly in a very big
mess from the time the DSS illegally arrested and unconstitutionally detained
Nnamdi Kanu. The reputation of Nigeria and that of Nigeria’s assumed president
(Buhari) is in tatters and got worse from the time Buhari illegally arrested
and detained Nnamdi Kanu. There is a bleak future for Nigeria as long as Buhari
continues to keep Nnamdi Kanu in captivity.
Nigeria is already on a
cliff-hanger and just a tiny strand is what remained for it to descend into
irredeemable catastrophe. Like Somalia under Siad Barre, Nigeria under Buhari
is sliding into the abyss because of the stubbornness or some would say
suicidal tendencies of one man. As Somalia collapsed into a failed state and
terrorist heaven today, so will Nigeria follow suit because of the antics of
Buhari. Nnamdi Kanu’s illegal detention and Buhari’s disobedience of court
orders have negative implications for the stability of West African region as
well as crude oil price stability globally. It has been confirmed from reliable
sources in Nigeria’s Presidential Villa that 60 percent of calls to Aso Rock
from overseas is about Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB, Niger Delta Avengers, and the
collapsing economy.
The European Union, the United
Kingdom, and the United States of America must take notice that there will
surely be another war in Nigeria with far more deadly consequences worse than
that of Somalia and Sudan combined. The only way this prediction can be avoided
is to ensure that Buhari obeys court orders by releasing Nnamdi Kanu
unconditionally. Anything short of unconditional release of Nnamdi Kanu in
accordance with the court orders will make Nigeria current political
instability snowball into anarchy and at the very end, Nigeria as we know it
now will never be the same again. The ball is in the court of the international
community to make the right decision of requesting Buhari to release Nnamdi
Kanu unconditionally and the time to make that decision is now.

Statement:
INDIGENOUS
PEOPLE OF
BIAFRA AND NIGER
DELTA
AVENGERS ARE
INSEPARABLE IN THEIR
QUEST FOR
BIAFRA RESTORATION: NO FREEDOM FOR
NNAMDI KANU NO PEACE
The
Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) hereby categorically state that we and our
brothers the Niger Delta Avengers (N.D.A.) are inseparable in our quest for
Biafra restoration. Just as N.D.A. stated in their demands which the Nigerian
Government is very much aware of but has chosen to ignore, there will be no
negotiation if there is no freedom for the leader of IPOB Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
Nigeria will avert imminent doom only if Buhari is compelled by civilized
nations to obey existing court orders and release Nnamdi Kanu unconditionally.
Trying
the discredited divide and rule tactics of using the media to claim Nnamdi Kanu
denied N.D.A. in order to engineer acrimony and hatred between him and N.D.A.
has failed woefully. South South and South East are united in this noble quest
for freedom and no amount of media manipulation can alter this fact. Only if
Buhari knows who Nnamdi Kanu truly is or the amount of influence he commands
among the people of South East and South South he won't listen to the lies
Lawal Daura of DSS and Ohanaeze Ndigbo have been feeding him.
Although
we acknowledge that our lawyers spoke out of turn in a recent press conference,
we are also aware that Mr. Rochas Okorocha who parades himself to the contrary
as an Igbo man has been working as a front man for Muhammadu Buhari to
penetrate and compromise IPOB governing structure and our lawyers. We are aware
of the grand conspiracy orchestrated by Rochas Okorocha to penetrate IPOB by
all and any means necessary. We know that one of our lawyers has been meeting
with Okorocha clandestinely in the past few weeks just like Buhari through
Lawal Daura of DSS has been doing through inducements and threats. Some of our
lawyers are currently being investigated by the EFCC at the behest of Daura of
DSS over a land case settled years ago, in order to unsettle them sufficiently
to turn to DSS informants and ultimately undermine the legal defence of our
leader as was the case with Vincent Obetta.
In spite
of all these shenanigans by Buhari through Daura of DSS and his co-jesters in
the media peddling falsehood about negotiations that our leader never consented
to, IPOB worldwide is unwavering, determined and resolute under the supreme
command of Nnamdi Kanu. No other person dead or alive has the right to command or
can command IPOB whether that person is residing in Government house in Owerri
or from a private hospital in Nnewi. Only Nnamdi Kanu can tell us in IPOB what
to do and we obey. Anybody else attempting to do so will be comprehensively
disgraced.
IPOB rank and file is with their leader Nnamdi Kanu and we speak with one voice. Our decision remains that there will be NO negotiations with Nigeria until Buhari obeys court orders for the unconditional release of Nnamdi Kanu.
IPOB rank and file is with their leader Nnamdi Kanu and we speak with one voice. Our decision remains that there will be NO negotiations with Nigeria until Buhari obeys court orders for the unconditional release of Nnamdi Kanu.
We would
like to remind everyone that whatever statement or information is provided by
IPOB either through our spokespersons or live on Radio Biafra broadcast by our
Deputy Director is exactly the mind of our leader Nnamdi Kanu because he
trained us to always put the needs of Biafra restoration first and never to
retreat nor surrender. From the time of the arrest of our leader till date he
has never at any time disputed publicly or in private, through his wife or
family members any press statement issued by IPOB official spokespersons.
Furthermore,
IPOB is aware that Buhari is planning to kill our leader Nnamdi Kanu and is
doing so with active connivance of some Igbo politicians with certain executive
members of Ohanaeze Ndigbo. We warn Buhari and his cohorts that the murder of
Nnamdi Kanu will spell doom not just for Nigeria but the entire sub-region
because the fall out will be too disastrous for a sane mind to contemplate.
Anybody from the government of Nigeria or Ohanaeze Ndigbo that thinks that
Nnamdi Kanu can be another Ken Saro-Wiwa or M.K.O. Abiola is digging their own
grave.
We would
like to state that IPOB is aware of the fact that all over the world terms for
self-determination is always negotiated. But what we insist on is that for
Buhari to start any negotiation with IPOB on a peaceful exit of Biafra from
Nigeria he must first obey court orders on the unconditional release of Nnamdi
Kanu. Buhari should also release all Biafrans illegally detained in various
prisons in Nigeria.
However
IPOB would like to take this opportunity to commend the Attorney General of the
Federation (AGF) of Nigeria, Hon. Abubakar Malami (SAN) and all those endowed
with common sense who have come to understand that all IPOB family members
arrested must be released unconditionally because our quest is the restoration
of Biafra and not to take over the rulership of Nigeria.
It is
instructive to note that the AGF dropped all the charges against IPOB members
in Abia State even when Okezie Ikpeazu Abia State governor and other killers of
innocent Biafrans in government houses were hell-bent on forging ahead with the
ridiculous treasonable felony charges. Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and those like
him specifically directed Hausa-Fulani controlled JTF to undertake the
indiscriminate slaughter of fellow Biafrans in Aba on more than two occasions.
Their judgement is coming and Nigeria they so diligently serve now will abandon
them as is happening already with Ikpeazu.
It is a
fact that some people within the Judiciary know that there is no evidence of
treasonable felony in the case against Nnamdi Kanu which was why a more learned
and highly respected judge like Ademola dismissed these charges at the same
Federal High Court John Tsoho is now sitting today to make a mockery of himself
and justice.
Finally,
we want to reiterate that IPOB and N.D.A. share the same ideology and
philosophy concerning the liberation of Biafra from Nigeria and this will be
the centrepiece of any negotiation that will take place after the unconditional
release of Nnamdi Kanu. We re-emphasize our stance that there is no negotiation
going on at this time and that IPOB and N.D.A. are inseparable in their
objectives and expected outcomes.
It is
either we get Biafra or we die trying to get Biafra. There is no middle ground,
there is no compromising this cardinal point. Let it be known to humanity that
there will be no negotiation without first effecting the release of Nnamdi Kanu
unconditionally.
The
restoration of the blessed nation of Biafra is a divine mission from God
Almighty of which Nnamdi Kanu is the chosen messenger.
We are
unstoppable, unchangeable, irresistible, and irreversible whether Buhari and
Lawal Daura like it or not!!!

After all General Ratko Mladic walked all the way from Serbia to Croatia and Bosnia Herzegovina to commit war crimes in the name of preserving Yugoslav unity yet in the end he lost. MUHAMMADU BUHARI AND HIS DSS HAVE RUN OUT OF IDEAS ON HOW TO
DESTABILIZE IPOB
MUHAMMADU BUHARI AND HIS DSS HAVE RUN OUT OF IDEAS ON HOW TO
DESTABILIZE IPOB
Retired Major General Muhammadu Buhari who committed treason on December 31, 1983 and his Department of States Services (DSS) have run out
of ideas on how to effectively destabilize the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). They have tried all the tricks available to them plus those they could borrow from elsewhere and yet they are unable to destabilize IPOB.
Buhari and his DSS started on June 17th 2015 with a failed
attempt at provoking Biafrans through the use of the Nigerian Airforce to bomb
Akwa-Ibom and Cross River states in Nairaland and in which they expected
Biafrans to react violently.
Next, they shot and killed Biafrans at Aba and Igweocha (Port
Harcourt) in July 2015 but Biafrans never responded violently. They went
further on 30th August 2015 to kill several Biafrans by shooting live bullets
at over ten thousand Biafrans who were on evangelism at Onitsha Head Bridge in
Anambra state. Again there was no violent reaction from Biafrans.
Between November 2015 and May 30th 2016, Buhari and his DSS
murdered over three thousand Bafrans all in a bid to provoke IPOB into violence
so as to satisfy “Section-62 CAP C38 LFN 2004“ which they desperately want to
rely upon to convict the IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
Seeing that they were not making any headway, Buhari and his DSS
made a fake press release in which they claimed that IPOB members killed five
Hausa-Fulani men in Aba and buried several others in unmarked graves.
This false press release back- fired when they listed the names
of four out of the five men but were unable to prove how they came to the
conclusion that these men were specifically of Hausa-Fulani descent.
This was in addition to renunciation of the fake press release
by both Abia state government as well as the Abia state branch of the same DSS.
Another failed tactics of Buhari and his DSS was the use of Ohanaeze Ndigbo and
some Biafrans from Igbo-speaking areas who were easily swayed with a few
thousand naira notes to cause disaffection among Biafrans.
These men include Chekwas Okorie, Gary Enwo-Igariwe, Joe “Judas“
Igbokwe, Dr. Dozie Ikedife, Monday Ubani, and others. These conscienceless men
were used to create the impression that the quest for the restoration of Biafra
does not resonate among Biafrans especially the elites and well-placed.
This strategy was dead on arrival because Biafrans saw through
the tissues of lies coming from these money-minded individuals. With the
emergence of the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) and the crippling effects of their
actions on the Nigerian economy, Buhari and his DSS tried creating a fake NDA
which crumbled when Gen. Mudoch Agbinibo exposed, named and shamed the
impostors.
The next thing Buhari did was to use Charles Okah to resurrect
the dead MEND and to get them involved in IPOB affairs with a promise to
release him from detention in Kuje prison. This strategy failed too. Lastly,
Buhari and his DSS decided to create a fake IPOB group and christened it
TRIPOB.
They went further to formulate a wierd name for the spokesperson
of this fake group by combining the names of the last Head of State of Biafra
with two other Igbo names to form a decoy known as “CHIMA PHILLIP EFFIONG
OSUJI.“ We have since established that this fake group is run by Okechukwu
Isiguzoro of Ohanaeze Ndigbo—Youth Wing who also goes by the name “CHIMA
PHILLIP EFFIONG OSUJI.“
Curiously, the DSS through this fake group has admitted that the
IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, is unwavering and can never renounce Biafra even at
the point of death.
We are happy to note that if there is one thing the bumbling DSS
got right in their stupefyingly ludicrous concoction through this surrogate
fake group, it is the fact that IPOB Worldwide under the supreme and
unquestionable leadership of Nnamdi Kanu is indeed uncompromising.
However, we are bold to state that for anyone to successfully
recreate IPOB they must at least have presence in over 50 countries and
territories around the world. Magically recreating IPOB on the pages of
newspapers and television screens is the height of deception typical of the
DSS. The restoration of the nation of Biafra is a divine project ordained by
the Most High God Chukwu Okike Abiama himself and IPOB was specifically chosen
by God to bring Biafra restoration to a reality.
Therefore no man can divide or break IPOB, not even our leader
Nnamdi Kanu can. Buhari and his DSS have run out of ideas and we advice them to
devote their energy and resources into other useful ventures and stop wasting
their time and money trying to destabilize IPOB. The Indigenous People of
Biafra (IPOB) under the leadership of Nnamdi Kanu is indivisible,
indestructible, and impenetrable!!!

THE
MUHAMMADU BUHARI’S SPEECH TO YOUTH CORPERS:
SETTING THE RECORDS STRAIGHT
September 15, 2016
Retired
Major-General Muhammadu Buhari was one of the group of Northern Nigerian
soldiers that assassinated Major-General J. T. U. Aguiyi-Ironsi, a Biafran, on
July 29 1966 and he was the same person that committed treason on 31st December
1983 when he violently overthrew a democratically elected Nigerian Government
headed by Alhaji Aliyu Usman Shehu Shagari. After the assassination of
Aguiyi-Ironsi in 1966, Muhammadu Buhari in conjunction with some Northern
soldiers massacred two million Biafrans at Owerri in 1968. In return for his
acts of savagery on Biafrans, Buhari was recently rewarded with the presidency
of Nigeria even though he did no have the educational requirements to contest
for that position. It was on the platform of the president of the colonial
creation named Nigeria that Buhari delivered a speech to a group of graduates
who were on a one-year compulsory National Service.
In that
speech to the graduates and according to September 14, 2016 editions of Punch
and Thisday newspapers, Buhari was reported as saying thus: “Tell your
colleagues who want Biafra to forget about it. As a military commander, I
walked from Degem, a border town between the North and the East, to the border
between Cameroun and Nigeria. I walked on my foot for most of the 30 months
that we fought the Nigeria-Biafra Civil War, in which at least two million
Nigerians were killed.“ He was also reported as saying that: ”We were made by
our leaders to go and fight Biafra not because of money or oil, because oil was
not a critical factor then, but because of one Nigeria” and that “we must be
together to build this country. It is big enough for us and potentially big
enough in terms of resources.“ It is worthy to note that Buhari delivered this
speech from his Daura-Katsina State country home.
The first question is: why can't
Buhari come to Biafraland to lecture Biafrans on unity rather than mouthing it
every time he visits his cow ranch in Daura or someplace in Northern Nigeria?
Is Northern Nigeria the only place that a President travels to? Can anyone
point us to a single visit that Buhari has made to Biafraland from May 29, 2015
till date? Buhari has more regards and affection for his cows than the average Biafran
because he finds time to visit animals rather than those he claim to be his
fellow citizens. Buhari has made 30 foreign trips as at the end of May 2016 as
well as countless trips to the Northern part of Nigeria including Boko Haram
controlled regions but he has not set his feet on Biafran soil since he was
sworn in on the 29th of May 2015.
Buhari should understand that one of the requirements of a soldier is endurance trekking. Therefore, that he may have trekked from one location to the other should not be used to scare Biafrans from exerting their rights to self-determination. After all General Ratko Mladic walked all the way from Serbia to Croatia and Bosnia Herzegovina to commit war crimes in the name of preserving Yugoslav unity yet in the end he lost. Buhari intentionally refused to inform the graduates that during his trekking experience from Degem to Biafra’s boundary with Ambazonia (Southern Cameroon), he committed genocide along the way and this includes the two million Biafrans he killed at Owerri in 1968.
Because Buhari was a junior
officer in the Nigerian Army, it is understandable that he was not privy to the
motive behind the war of genocide on Biafra which had the backing of our
colonial masters. It may interest Buhari to know that in August 1967, the then
British Commonwealth Minister George Thomas informed the British Parliament
that: “The sole immediate British interest in Nigeria is that the Nigerian
economy should be brought back to a condition in which our substantial trade
and investment in the country can be further developed, and particularly so we
can regain access to important oil installations”. Buhari should now understand
that oil is the main reason why they got the support of Britain.
It was because of the control of
oil in Biafraland that Britain in 1968 alone supplied hundreds of armoured
personnel carriers (APCs), 10,000 machine guns, 20 million rounds of
ammunition, 3,000 bayonets, 10,000 rifles with grenade launchers, 15,000 pounds
of explosives, 21,000 mortar bombs, 42,500 Howtizer rounds, 5,000 submachine
guns and other weapons of mass destruction deployed, in one year alone, to the
killing fields in Biafraland under the supervision of Muhammadu Buhari and his
co-genocidists. Without this one-sided military support from the British to
Nigeria while at the same time denying Biafra access to weapons, even Buhari
himself knows that there is no way in a billion years Nigeria could have
defeated Biafra in a war.
Buhari must understand that a
nation develops organically and is predicated on the commonality of shared
value systems. A nation is markedly different from a country even our colonial
masters know this. That is why Scotland which is a nation can seek independence
from Britain which is a country. The same way that Biafra a nation is seeking
her independence from Nigeria. Buhari must know that Nigeria may claim to be a
country but definitely not a nation.
Muhammadu
Buhari should also understand that unity cannot be force-fitted or enforced by
one region on other regions within a geographical expression. This is why David
Cameron, immediate past British Prime Minister, did not deploy troops to
Glasgow or Edinburgh with rules of engagement (ROE) to kill innocent Scottish
people in the quest to preserve “One Britain“.
If Britain our colonial masters
and the creator of Nigeria can allow the Scots to determine their fate, how
much more their product Nigeria refusing the nation of Biafra the same right.
Therefore the assertion by Buhari that Biafrans must stay together with the
rest of Nigeria is not enforceable under any known law on this planet earth.
The United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People (UNDRIP)
makes it clear that Biafrans have the inalienable right to be on their own as a
sovereign nation.
The right to self-determination
is not synonymous with war or violence. Buhari should therefore, not juxtapose
self-determination with war because the two are not interchangeable. The least
he can do is to use the instrument of Referendum to test the resolve of
Biafrans in their quest for the restoration of the nation of Biafra. We will
also like to remind Buhari that the sovereignty of a nation is not premised on
size.
The excuse that Nigeria is big
enough and therefore Biafrans are bound by the sheer size of Nigeria to be part
of it, is not logical. The Soviet Union was big and a super power but they
broke up. Yugoslavia went their separate ways with the active support of
Britain. Those familiar with the history of British politics will know that it
was Paddy Ashdown MP, the leader of the Liberal Democrat Party, that sought and
gained the backing of the British Government of the day to support the
independence of the Muslim enclave of Bosnia Herzegovina away from Yugoslavia.
There are nations that are
significantly smaller than Biafra both in size and in population. For Buhari’s
information, Biafra has a population of over 70 million. The total area of
Biafra is over 29,400 square miles. Thus Biafra is almost as big as Gambia and
Sierra Leone put together, and is bigger than Togo or Rwanda and Burundi
combined, and is four times the size of the Republic of Israel. Additionally,
we do not need Buhari to lecture us on the resources in Biafraland because we
are already aware of them. For us in Biafra, we cherish and give the greatest
priority to human resource unlike Buhari’s Nigeria which operates a rentier
economy with heavy dependence on Biafran oil and gas resources.
Buhari must know that 1967 to
1970 is in the past and similar conditions are no longer obtainable in today’s
world. Self-determination by an Indigenous People is not equivalent to
declaration of war especially as is being peacefully pursued by Biafrans.
However, should Buhari tow the path of war then he must know that Nigeria
cannot win it. We are peaceful campaigners for the self determination of the
peoples of Biafra. We have not come to war with anybody but if in the end
Buhari chooses war then we can assure him that it will be the greatest mistake
of the Caliphate. History is on the side of Biafra because the youths of Niger
Delta have woken up to their responsibility in the organised resistance of
Biafrans of all persuasions to oppression from those that think they cannot
live without oil.
Muhammadu Buhari should stop
living in the past and face the realities of the 21st Century. War-mongering
and regurgitation of the stories of Biafra genocide will not shake the resolve
and determination of Biafrans on the restoration of their God-given nation of
Biafra. The earlier Buhari understands that nothing on this earth can stop the
restoration of the nation of Biafra, the better for him and his blood-thirsty
Hausa-Fulani parasites and oligarchs.
We
reiterate that the restoration of the nation of Biafra is divine and beyond the
whims and caprices of Muhammadu Buhari and his co-travelers.
