Nigerians call for second Biafra: 'We are Israelites of Africa'
Members of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (Massob) wave the Biafran flagGetty Images
"I have never considered myself a Nigerian, always a Biafran," David Chidiebere from Nigeria's Imo state told IBTimes UK during a discussion about why thousands of people in southern Nigeria are calling for independence.
Chidiebere was born after Biafra was re-annexed to Nigeria in 1970 and learnt about the struggle of his ancestors from his father. Today, he believes Biafrans should separate from Nigeria.
"They [government] want us to be one Nigeria, but why hasn't an Igbo or Biafran been the president of the country since the end of the war? We have the oil but they ares the one who are squandering the money."
Biafra history
The Eastern Region, a former federal division of Nigeria with capital Enugu, became a secessionist state called Republic of Biafra after gaining independence from Nigeria in 1967. It was re-annexed in 1970 following the Nigerian-Biafran war that claimed one million lives.
After the end of the British rule in 1960, Nigeria was comprised of territories that were not part of the nation before the colonisation, resulting in escalating tensions among the communities. People in the Eastern Region, mainly from the Igbo community, wanted to secede due to ethnic, religious and economic differences with other communities in Nigeria.

The Eastern Region gained independence following two coup d'etats in 1966 and 1967. The fact that Nigeria's oil was located in the south of the country played a major role in the eruption of the war, during which medicines and food shortage in Biafra led to the death of thousands of people.
Biafra has been commonly divided into four main "tribes": the Ibos, the Ibibio-Efiks, the Ijaws and the Ogojas.
The modern-day states that made up Biafra from the eastern region and midwest are: Abia, Anambra, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Enugu, Ebonyi, ,Imo, Delta, Rivers and Cross River and Edo.
Chidiebere explained that the fight for an independent Biafra is not just about natural resources.
"We Biafrans don't want to be in the same country with people we don't share the same mentality, religion, culture, language, accent or way of life with," he said.
"We are being marginalised everywhere, we are the Israelites of Africa."
London-based Yahgozie Emmanuel, member of Ekwenche research institute and editor ofBiafra24 told IBTimes UK that following the re-annexation, Biafran communities were separated.
"Biafra was known as a provincial system which didn't recognise any of the states created by Nigeria and its agents," he said.
"In 1970 Nigeria divided the people to decentralised the unity of Biafrans. We believe that the 36 States and 774 Local Government structure imposed via decrees by officers from the occupational government of Nigeria render the people of Biafra an insignificant minority."
Emmanuel referred to a so-called "amalgamation contract" aimed at integrating people from the north and the south within 100 years since it was issued. The contract, now at the National Archive of London, was created in 1914 by the then governor general of Nigeria Frederick John Dealtry Lugard. The document, opposed by the political class and the media in Lagos, expired in 2014.
"This means that the component parts of what was Nigeria can now go their ways," Emmanuel said and added that Biafrans feel threatened by terror group Boko Haram and what they see as the attempted 'Islamification' of southern Nigeria by the current government.
"We Biafrans continue to strive for survival under harsh condition, forced exiles. Gatherings of Biafrans and places of Christian worship in the northern part of the country are regular targets of Islamic terror, spearheaded today by Boko Haram.
"The several mentions of sharia in the constitution in the face of Section 10 of the same document that prohibits adoption of state religion, has left a leeway for several states in the far north to impose sharia, which in turn activated Boko Haram, which owes it an obligation to their faith to kill the 'infidel', a category to which we the Biafrans fall, in their warped estimation."

Boko Haram, Buhari and Biafra
Who are Nigeria's Boko Haram terrorists?
Boko Haram (recently renamed Iswap) fights against Western influence in Nigeria and aims to impose its version of sharia law in the country. The group declared an Islamic caliphate in Gwoza, along the Cameroon border, in August 2014.
Boko Haram has raided several cities in the north of the country in a bid to take control of more land.
Three states − Adamawa, Borno and Yobe − have been under a state of emergency since May 2013, due to Boko Haram's attacks.
The group has killed at least 2,700 people since the beginning of 2015. Some 300 have been killed since the beginning of June.
Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari is a former military chief who served in the Nigerian Army from 1961 until 1985. He is accused of committed crimes in Biafra.
According to some reports, he headed military operations in Nsukka, Abagana and Nkpor Junction in Biafra where soldiers, under his leaderships, allegedly destroyed villages and attacked civilians.
Emmanuel said Biafrans are not happy with Buhari as president. He described the new leader – who was elected in March 2015 and sworn in in May – as: "A known sympathiser of the sharia whose role in the 1966-1970 genocidal campaigns against the peoples of Biafra remain starkly unaddressed and presents a grave concern to our peoples."
Earlier in June, dozens of citizens in the Anambra state, part of former Biafra, rallied after rumours spread that 47 Boko Haram suspects could be transferred to Ekwulobia Prison in Aguata Local Government Area.
People took to the streets to protest against the alleged relocation and shut their shops in several cities including the capital Awka, Onitsha, Nnewi, Ekwulobia and Agulu. Protesters called for Biafra and carried banners reading: "Buhari should not destroy the peace in Anambra State" and "We do not want Boko Haram in Anambra".
The government denied the alleged plan to relocate the Boko Haram suspects. However, Francis Chukwu, a resident from Onitsha city, Anambra, told IBTimes UK: "Reports are real. Even yesterday, one [Boko Haram member] was caught in Nkpor town with some bombs."
Protesters also took to social media to complain about their perceived attempt to "Islamise" the south by relocating terror suspects to a southern prison.
The Nigerian government was not available for comments regarding the claims made by pro-Biafrans.

BIAFRA: Human Rights Group Talks About the killing of Pro-Biafra Protesters
w7lVmzT
w7lVmzTA human rights group, International Society for Civil Liberties and the rule of Law (Intersociety) has lamented the violence unleashed by security forces on Biafra protesters.
In a press statement issued yesterday in Onitsha, Anambra state, entitled: “Violent Suppression Of Nonviolent Protests In Nigeria: Buhari Must Heed EU’s Advice”, Intersociety decried what it termed as murder of 50 in violent suppression of non-violent Biafran protesters by Nigeria’s security forces between August 30, 2015 and January 18, 2016.
The group said the documented statistics available at its disposal clearly indicated that “such a massive application of state violence outside local and international norms to violently suppress the pro-Biafran non-violent protests in Nigeria within the afore-mentioned period of less than five months, had led to the gruesome murder by security forces of such a number of Nigerian citizens and Biafran citizens in particular”.
The group said the murdered victims included four citizens killed in Awka and Onitsha on August 30, 2015; 13 killed in Onitsha on December 2, 2015; 12 killed in Onitsha on December 17, 2015 (eight were killed on the spot and four others died in hospital following gunshot wounds); and eight killed in Aba on January 18, 2016.
The statement also alleged that scores of innocent citizens have also disappeared in the hands of Nigerian security forces particularly the Nigerian Army and the Nigeria Police Force.
“Citizens are routinely arrested by police on allegation of being “MASSOB or IPOB members” and killed secretly and buried in undisclosed shallow graves; likewise those shot and killed by soldiers and police while embarking on peaceful protests. Once their bodies are taken away by their killer security operatives, they will never be accounted for or released to their families for befitting
“Over 120 citizens were shot and critically injured with gunshots in Delta, Rivers, Anambra, Abia and Enugu States between 30th August 2015 and 18th January 2016. Of these, over 40 citizens were critically shot and injured in Anambra (30thAugust, 2nd and 17th December 2015); 30 in Abia State (18th January 2016 alone), 21 in Rivers State (30th August 2015); 10 in Delta State (30th August 2015) and 6 in Enugu State. These exclude scores of others critically shot and injured in related nonviolent protests in those States as well as Bayelsa State”.
“Among those critically shot and injured in Rivers by Nigerian Army and the Police including their mobile lines are Citizens Sunday Udegbe Nwabunne Udo, Agwasi Anthony, Meshach Emmanuel, Chinwendu Ogbonna, Amanda Onyekachi, Emmanuel Arinze, Okwudiri Ojah, Chibuike David, Uzochi Ugwojialili; Chukwuma Igwe, Kingsley Okere, Chinedu Solomon Iwu, Okon Emmanuel Udo, Kelechi Uwaeze, Uwalaka, Solomon Chikwe, Ikenna Ezekwem, Ubani, Amarachi Onyemachi, and Chukwudi Ofoegbuliwe, In Enugu State, the following were critically shot and injured, Mr. Godswill Ojikeme, Mrs. Chinyere Godswill Ojikeme, Ogbodo Monday, Jonah Kelechi, Onuigbo Paul and Obiorah Innocent”.
“Those gravely shot and wounded in Delta State are: Chinedu Abe, Onovo Michael, Kingsley Anuife, Amechi Ojieh, Ogbonna Kanayo, David Ogbu, Charles Chukwuka, Elochukwu Uzor, Chinedu Chukwuma and Onyekanna Ifechukwude. Those critically shot and injured on 30th August 2015 in Anambra State are: Sampson Kalu, Chidiebere Nnaji Onyekwelu Ovute, Felix Ndianaefo, Ikechukwu Okafor, Chimaobi Okafor, Christopher Oforah, Sunday Nwazugbo, Stanley Eze, Mrs. Eucharia and Mrs. Patricia.
Two of the four citizens killed in Awka and Onitsha in the same peaceful protest of 30th August 2015 were Ebuka Nnolum from Enuguabo-Ufuma in Anambra State and Obasi Maduka from Oshiri in Ebonyi State (his brother’s number is. In the 2nd and 17thDecember 2015 peaceful protests in Onitsha, over 30 citizens were critically shot and injured, out of whom, 27 citizens were taken and admitted at the Multicare Hospital”.
“Between 300 and 400 citizens or more labeled “Biafran or IPOB or MASSOB members” had also been arrested, detained, tortured, or killed extra judicially across the country since 30th of August 2015. In the Aba pro Biafran peaceful protest of 18thJanuary 2016 alone, 60 peaceful protesters were arrested and detained. Many are still languishing in pretrial detention; others are facing concocted heinous political crimes charges such as treason and treasonable felony”.
The group stated that in the world over, violent suppression of non-violent protests by territorial governments have always boomeranged; leading the suppressed to abandon non-violent approaches and resort to self help or self defense approaches.
“Consequently, the latest advice handed down to the Government of Muhammadu Buhari by the European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security, Ms Federica Mogherini, is a welcome development, timely and internationally grounded. The EU High Representative had advised Buhari that in as much as, the European Union has strong diplomatic and economic ties with Nigeria, “protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms remains a priority for the EU and we encourage the authorities (Nigeria) in every occasion to respect such rights,” the group said.
The EU, on the other hand, advised pro Biafran campaigners and the Organization of Emerging African States (OEAS) “that self-determination and border changes must be in accordance with established international law.
With tears and heavy heart i write and post this tragedy that happened today in ABA where the pedophile military of the zoo where in a mission of house to house search for IPOB members and killed this toddler who left her parents to school this morning what on earth have we done wrong to the zoo government even the boko haram that was killing and destroying life and property has not been found or killed by the zoo military neither have they gone for house to house search Biafran’s if you keep silent on this the blood of this toddler will revenge

Civil War: Prosecute Gowon, Obansanjo, others – INC
The Igbo National Congress (INC), a political pressure group, has called for the prosecution of former Head of State, General Yabuku Gowon; former Head of State and later President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo; and General T.Y. Danjuma for alleged premeditated and organized genocide against Ndigbo during the 30 months civil war.

In a press statem
ent signed by its President-General, Comrade Chilos Godsent, after the organization’s executive session in Owerri, the INC urged the prosecution of those indicted for genocide against the Igbo.

The statement reads: “INC calls for the prosecution of all those indicted for genocide against Ndigbo, which includes General Yakubu Gowon, General Olusegun Obasanjo, General T. Y. Danjuma, Chief Obafemi Awolowo (post-humous) and many others at the International Criminal Court.

“They violated humanitarian laws during the war they declared against Ndigbo for trying to express their rights to self-determination and should therefore be brought to book for their crimes against humanity.”

Comrade Godsent said the massive investments being made by Ndigbo all over the country, especially in the South-west and the North, have constantly been under attack to weaken and intimidate Ndigbo.

The statement added: “Ndigbo have lost millions of naira through unwarranted attacks by their hosts, including bombing, riots as well as cold blooded murder as being witnessed in northern Nigeria today.

“Many local governments in most of these states, especially in Lagos and the North have initiated anti-Igbo trade policies to cripple the businesses and investments belonging to Ndigbo.

“The INC therefore, calls on Ndigbo living in other parts of the country, especially in the North where jihad has been declared against them, to begin to bring their businesses and investments back home.

“They should as well begin to develop properties in Igbo land to ensure safety. It is the position of the INC that people who want their goods will always come for it no matter where they are.” The INC also urged governments of Igbo states to take issues of good governance, development of infrastructures more seriously and initiate pro-people policies to encourage investments in Igbo land.”

Meanwhile, the council praised the audacity and forthrightness of the renowned literary icon and statesman, Prof. Chinua Achebe, in the publication of his personal memoirs on the Biafra-Nigeria civil war in which he pointed out crimes committed against Ndigbo by Nigerian officials and their allies, especially Awolowo and Gowon.

The INC also commended the courage of many Nigerians, including Prof. Wole Soyinka, who have persistently stood on the side of t truth and condemned the evil meted out to Ndigbo during the civil war.

MAZI NNAMDI KANU THE MAN OF THE YEAR.
As events unfolds in the year 2016 awards has started to being awarded to winners and losers and those who did well in the year 2015 are getting there meritorious awards and recognitions.
Around the world today even in the world of football, award was giving to the world best footballer of the year 2015, so it is in other fields of work.
I read passed through an article written in the Biafran website some weeks ago or precisely on the 31st of December 2015, talking about Biafra and labelling citizen Nnamdi Kanu as the man of the year, but as a lover of courageous men, fearless men, industrious men, men who can move mountains with an ordinary spoken world, men who can turn the world around with the power of the tongue, men who speaks nothing but the truth and stands in the truth no matter what and the odds.
I believe that article is written for an ordinary crayfish seller because the man the article was wholly written about him was too big for that type of article and if am permitted I will demand an apology article from the writer.
The man that is been talked about is the man who can hold a microphone and the world will turn twenty degrees centigrade, the man who will say move from the prison and the more than millions of people will move without a question, a man whom his words and instructions are not been forgotten rather carried out till date.
The man who has been in more than eighty five countries preaching the truth, the man who can stand any mentionable professor from any field of study most especially from theology, history and international relations.
The man who tells the past presidents of a country what they are even in the face of death.
My man of the year is the man who has the temerity to move a president of a nation with an ordinary spoken word.
My man of the year is the man who the top politicians pays billions of naira to newspaper companies never to appear in the front banner, still he appears thousands times.
My man of the year is the man when his pictures appear in the national dailies the Aso Rock villa shivers.
My man of the year is the man who is been humiliated because of truth.
My man of the year is the man who cannot bargain with you for a protest and the whole south south and south east, itsekiri and igala streets will be filled up within a twinkle of an eye.
My man of the year is the slimmest man who works silently but courageous in spirit and in mind.
My man of the year is the man who predicts about tomorrow and one of his greatest prediction is about immediate past president of a country to be jailed and it is going to happen, am watching events as they unfolds gradually.
My man of the year is a prince but a prophet reincarnated.
My man of the year is a simple freedom fighter who can never never ever fail to restore the Biafran nation.
My man of the year is the man who millions of people can die for and are ready to die for.
My man of the year is the man giving one Hausa governor sleepless night till date.
My man of the year is the man who brings one past president of a country to Aba every week.
My man of the year is the man that more than hundreds of lawyer's appears in court to defend.
My man of the year 2015 is the man who can sign to die if he don't bring Biafra.
My man of the year 2015 is no other person than

1945 and 1953 north Nigeria-organised pogroms against Igbo immigrant populations in Jos and Kano
Igbo tenacity, drive and relentless optimism to pursue and overcome life’s challenges were acutely an affront to both the sardauna of Sokoto (northwest Nigeria) and British occupation sensibilities in Nigeria. This sardauna interview (video above) must have been recorded in the late 1950s/early 1960s – definitely after both the 1945 and 1953 north Nigeria-organised pogroms against Igbo immigrant populations in Jos and Kano respectively. Hundreds of Igbo were murdered during the pogroms and tens of thousands of pounds sterling worth of their property were looted/destroyed at the time. Each pogrom was carried out because of the Igbo vanguard role in the restoration-of-independence movement to free Nigeria from the British conquest and occupation, begun in the 1930s. North Nigeria’s sociopolitical leaderships, effectively British regional clients, were opposed to the restoration of African freedom. No other leadership across the entire Southern World (Africa, Asia, the Caribbean/South America) has such an unenviable record during this unprecedented epoch of transglobal freedom charge. North Nigeria leaderships, indeed, were disposed to the continuing British occupation of Nigeria.
Enslaved spaces and replicas
As a result, the occupation regime did not apprehend or prosecute anyone for either the 1945 or 1953 pogroms and the outrages became the “dress rehearsals” for the 29 May 1966-12 January 1970 Igbo genocide when the Nigeria state (as a whole, involving other constituent nations including the Yoruba, the Edo and Urhobo of the west region) with full Britain involvement, and others, murdered 3.1 million Igbo or one-quarter of this nation’s population. Britain, nor in fact any of the other pan-European conquerors of Africa (France, Portugal, Belgium, Spain, Germany), did not create a Nigeria, or whatever names these “Berlin states” in Africa are called, as precursor for African emancipation. On the contrary, the Nigerias of Africa are more of replicas of the enslaved plantations of the Americas (in the previous epoch of nearly 400 years) to perpetuate European World control and exploitation of Africa and Africans in perpetuity.
The enslaved Igbo encountered this with unrelenting courage and defiance in the enslaved estates in the Americas (north, south and the Caribbean), as history shows, and wouldn’t have it either at home! The Sarduana interview should be part of History/Politics 101 course on Africa because it does tell one, in a nutshell, the “fate” of the Igbo in Nigeria that north Nigeria, with firm support of Britain, had, carefully, contrived right back in the 1950s. Except the Igbo people have signed up for a concerted suicide, they surely cannot see their destiny emplaced in this space of certain death.
This has been the cardinal lesson of the Igbo genocide. Thankfully, some Igbo who were still not sure of the long term implications of the continuing Nigerian occupation of their homeland (since 12 January 1970) have had a baptism of enlightenment since the video of the Sarduana interview went viral! Suddenly, historical records become opportunities for rare streams of conscientisation.
BEFORE NNAMDI KANU IS TORTURED TO DEATH
 05 January 2016
The definition of man kind's wickedness is often seen in Africa and today it is manifesting in Nigeria but this time around, it will receive an untold magnitude of reprisal and aggression. Every Biafran and people of goodwill, people and the world that have not suffered conscience assassination or suicide have to see reason to stand for truth. I have been unable to imagine the kind of emotional trauma coupled with perseverance under the rain o falling bombs Mrs. Kanu passed through in that labour room. Heartbroken and left in isolation of he that consoles her and gives her the needed vibe and courage to pass through labour and all associated with it.
She came out a strong woman with a bouncing baby boy, in absence and dehumanization of her husband, she has endured immensely. What she won't and can't endure is if her hero is tortured to death, neither will the world endure such barbaric act of cowardice. In the last appearance Nnamdi Kanu made in the court, there is a significant injury at the length side of his face this By all means shows he is under immense torture. In an effort to hijacking Radio Biafra and its website, Nnamdi Kanu has undergone all kinds of inhumane treatment to give away passwords. It's also a bit zoological of Nigeria to think things have not changed things that will make his torture futile. Another Nnamdi Kanu has been welcomed again and Buhari will neither arrest nor torture him.

Organization for emerging Africa states had warned Nigeria in what it described as a life-line, and demanded for the release of Nnamdi Kanu for dialogue towards referendum to be initiated, like pure unreasonable African, Buhari has thrown that solution in the wind. Before Nnamdi Kanu is tortured to death or tortured to strength and aggression, let there be a dialogue for the restoration of Biafra. There are millions of Nnamdi Kanu internationally and locally. It becomes a waste of time and resources arresting one man and thinking you have solved a problem. Before the rain, let us make a shelter as wise men. The detention and torturing of Nnamdi Kanu is only a time bomb that will leave nobody in a good condition. Before Nnamdi Kanu is tortured to death, let us think a way forward. Remember that Nnamdi Kanu has over 38 Million followers who are under oath, control and command. If Nigeria government thinks that Nnamdi Kanu will renounce Biafra, then they should have a rethink because what joined us together is greater than death.

Biafrans one of our hero go home today, Chima was killed by Nigerian army on 18th day of January while he was protesting on the street of Aba Abia state, he was killed for no reason other than he ask for the release of Nnamdi Kanu, and free his people Biafrans, may his soul rest in bosom of our God most high, he has join our ancestors and he is fighting from there, may his soul rest in peace isee isee isee.

Niger Delta ex-militant leaders in support of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) struggle have given Federal Government 31-day deadline to free the leader of the group and Director of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, or face the consequences. Also, the former warlords warned security agencies against tampering with the life of the IPOB leader, who is detained at Kuje Prison. Spokesperson of the concerned ex-militants, simply identified as General Ben, warned that at the expiration of the ultimatum, they would resume massive abduction of expatriates as a first step. The spokesperson declared that Federal Government should not underrate the activities of the militants in the Niger Delta, no matter the number of soldiers deployed against them. He fumed: “The ex-militant leaders in Ebeocha IPOB are warning the Federal Government and are giving them 31 days to release Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of IPOB and Director of Radio Biafra. “We are giving Federal Government deadline; if they fail to release him, the country would be vandalised. He is fighting a just cause. Nothing should happen to him and Federal Government should not forget what we can do,” he threatened. They accused the Federal Government of marginalising a section of the country, pointing out that the approach of the Presidency on issues bordering on the entire geo-political zones were treated unjustly and with bias. Speaking on the recent invasion of the homes of their colleagues by security operatives, General Ben said the action was meant to intimidate them. “Federal Government wants to use that way to harm us. But we are warning that they (FG) should not forget our capabilities. They think we can be intimidated by that approach. No way! “Federal Government should know that the detention of Nnamdi Kanu and raid of the residences of our colleagues are enough reasons to collapse the society.” “It is sad. We are not happy because things are not working the right way in the country. We are marginalised and hunted. We are saying ‘enough is enough’. We are no longer interested in this country again,” he declared.

Good morning all Biafrans, welcome you into this day, the first day of this week.

BOMBSHELL: NGIGE IS DEAD INSISTS (GUYS WHAT DO YOU THINK
I've noticed all these bastards that see Ndigbo as being beneath them and can't entertain the thought of a president of Nigeria from Igbo extraction....that want 'one Nigeria' so they can control and exploit the oyel and gas in Alaigbo, yet when it comes to Lagos they bristle with annoyance when Ndigbo want a fair and equal treatment and say in its affairs...all these xenophobic and hateful twerps are so fond of seeking out efulefu Igbo in the mold of Rochas and Ngige to interview on the issue of the Biafran self-determination agitation knowing fully well what their answers will be! They then take their responses and splash on the front-page of their rag print and electronic media making it seem like a Igbo of any importance and significance has just been interviewed and voiced the opinion of majority Ndigbo!
That fool Ngige is just saying what he knows his slave master Buhari wants to hear! The bastard is thinking primarily of number one: his pockets! The interests and protection of Ndigbo and Alaigbo are the last thing on the fools mind!
The difference between our thieving elite and those from the core muslim north is that those from the north always put islam and arewa first even before 'one Nigeria'! You'd be hard-pressed to find anyone of them talking negatively about all the ill-gotten advantages they've criminally acquired for themselves since the late 60s to date: stuff like the extra number of states in the north-west; the large number of LGAs in their states (like Kano, which still has more than Lagos even after Jigawa was created from it); the over-representation of core northern muslims in the ownership of oyel blocks when compared to Igbo or other ethnic groups in the Niger Delta; the fact that the core northern muslims have controlled the center the most since independence and others have barely got a look in because of northern greed and thirst for power; the fact that quota-system is more advantageous to the north than the south; the fact that they're more of a liability than an asset to the country!
It's bastards like Ngige, Rochas, Amaechi, Tinubu, etc, that represent the weakest line in our defense, and they need to shut da fuc'k up and enjoy their 30 pieces of silver while the rest of us free-borns look for a way to put these murderous northern leeches in check!

Activists Destroyed Major Crude Oil, Gas Pipelines In Delta State of Biafra land
 18 January 2016
The Niger Delta region moved closer to armed hostilities yesterday following more attacks on oil facilities by youths believed to be supporters of ex-militant Government Ekpemupolo (alias Tompolo).
The latest attacks were launched with General Purpose Machine-guns (GPMG) by youths in several boats.
They were apparently reacting to last Thursday’s order by a Federal High Court for the arrest of Tompolo in connection with an alleged N34billion fraud.
Residents of the riverside communities said the militants paraded weapons more in number and sophistication than those used in previous crises.
Oil and gas pipelines in the creeks of Gbaramatu and Ugborodo areas of Warri South West and those in Egbema, North local government areas respectively of Delta state were struck in yesterday’s attacks.
“The gas pipeline, which runs from Olero creeks to Escravos were destroyed in the latest attack. Several crude lines were sabotaged while Makaraba, Otunana (Uton-Nana), Abiteye and Dibi flow stations were bombed,” one source said.
“The pipeline, which conveys gas from Saghara to Chevron, was also destroyed and there are several persons trapped in the communities. “The kind of explosives and bombs they used are not like those of before; the effects were felt in several communities as they went off intermittently.”
The facilities destroyed included those of the Nigerian Gas Company, Chevron NIGERIA Limited and NECONDE among others.
It was learnt that the attacks could spread to Bayelsa and other states of the region within days, as the perpetrators plan to cripple crude oil production and export.
There were indications that some operations of Chevron Nigeria were disrupted in the latest attacks.
The company was forced to airlift its workers on Friday after militants blocked the waterways and restricted movement of transport boats, including Chevron’s Jascon transport boat.
Although the Joint Task Force in the Niger Delta was said to be fully prepared to deal with the onslaughts, the militants operated unhindered for several hours yesterday.
It was gathered that the attacks started in the wee hours of the day.
“The sheer force of the explosion shook several communities and there were several explosions. There is panic everywhere and the waterways have again been taken over by armed gangs.”
The Joint Media Campaign Centre Coordinator of the JTF, Col Isa Ado, could not be reached.
Telephone calls and SMS to his mobile lines were not answered. Tompolo said on Friday that he was not responsible for the first attacks.
However, security sources insisted that he is directly controlling the operation along with some of his close allies and his nephew who reportedly led the destruction of oil facilities in Warri North LGA yesterday.
Sources said dozens of former militants had returned to the creeks of Warri in what is believed to be preparation for more onslaughts on oil facilities, security operatives and communities.
Similarly, it was learnt that sophisticated arms and ammunition were deployed.

A source familiar with the terrain said: “Boats are freely moving in and out of (an Ijaw community) with guns and other weapons. “Boys are coming in from all over the region and they are being given their assignments and directives. “There is a stockpile of arms and petrol and boats are being fueled intermittently.
“This is not an ordinary operation, it is well planned and there seems to be several options and alternative plans.”
Residents of the riverside communities, comprising mostly women and children continued the flight for safety in upland communities like Warri, Sapele and Ogbe-Ijoh, among others. Some of the fleeing locals lamented that although they did not benefit from the largesse from militancy, they are made to face its consequences always.
“We are tired of running like this always. In 2009, it was because of the killing of soldiers. Today, it is because of Tompolo and EFCC.
We didn’t benefit from the NIMASA money, there were individuals who got billions, others millions but how much did we get? Nothing! Yet we are the ones who are always the victims,” a middle-aged woman lamented in smattering English.
Similarly, it was gathered that some Gbaramatu leaders have called Tompolo to caution him about the implications of engaging in a full blown war with federal forces.
It was gathered that at least 10 very high- ranking traditional titleholders have distanced themselves from the attacks.
“Most of our leaders are too afraid to speak out while others cannot talk because they are benefiting one way or the other,” a youth leader told our reporter on condition that he would not be named.

CORRUPTION & WASTAGE: Buhari And Jonathan, At A Glance. FACT IS FACT.
1] Jonathan sold Petrol at N87 while Buhari is selling at average of N300 & above, yet Buhari supporters think Jonathan was more corrupt and wasteful.
2] When Jonathan Budgeted N1bn for feeding in Aso-Rock in 2011, and N517m in 2015, APC cried wolf and now Buhari's budget for same is N1.7billion. Yet Buharists are mute and still think GEJ was more corrupt and wasteful.
3] Jonathan spent N1.4bn to service all presidential jets in one year while Buhari spends N6bn on same in 6month yet Buharists
think GEJ was more corrupt and wasteful.
4] Jonathan gave more funding to education while Buhari's 2016
budget favours Ministry of information more than education
yet Buharists think GEJ was more corrupt/wasteful.
5] Jonathan spent an average of N8million on each international
trip while Buhari spends an average of N55million on each
international trip, yet Buharists think GEJ was more corrupt and
wasteful.
6] Jonathan created Over 5.8millon jobs in 5yrs while buhari has
sacked over 2million workers in 8months. Check Federal
Bureau of Statistics.
7] Jonathan made Nigeria's economy the best in Africa and No 1 investment destination & quadrupled our GDP in 4yrs while Buhari has dragged Nigeria's economy down to 14th position in ranking in just 7months.
8] Jonathan left Naira exchange rate @ N185 to $1 but Buhari with his Adama and Eve economics has destroyed the Naira in just 8 months which now sells at N315 to $1.
9] It took Jonathan less than 2weeks to select his cabinet including foreign based technocrats while it took Buhari 6months to do same. Even with indicted people and no single economist among the 36 names.
10] Buhari claimed that subsidy was fraud (Who is subsidizing who@) but buhari has spent N1.2trillion on fuel subsidy in the last 5 months and still no fuel while all Buharists have suddenly gone dumb.
11] Buhari/APC accused Jonathan of corruption but have not been able to pin one stain on him, while Muhammadu Buhari himself followed the crowd that entered into the #DasukiGate.
12] Under Jonathan freedom and liberty of Nigerians was not determined by party affiliation, but today under Buhari his perceived enemies and political opponents are leveled with frivolous allegations of crimes and intimidated with either the EFCC or the DSS.
13] Buhari does not have an Honorary WAEC but bags an
illegal Honorary (Ph.D) from a university that have no PhD student and Not approved by NUC and yet Buharists respect his NEPA Bill more than GEJ's PhD.
14. Buhari used his secondary school principal's recommendation letter to become Military Head of State and again used Court Affidavit to become President and no one reminded him that these are the height of corruption.
He Refused to declare his assets public, suppressing the FOI and denied all his 81 election promises and stayed in the last 8 months blaming former leaders. Jonathan was in that position, he never complained or blamed anyone, but faced his work even when Buhari's disgruntled brother ensured that Nigeria will know no peace. - Hope For Nigeria
Do you know that history never die/lie? Do you know that what happened to Daniel has finally befall on our unshakeable lord Mazi Nnamdi Kanu?
Our comrade JOE ACHUZIE OGU called our leader a *CATALYST* i was overwhelmed with questions. Asking why would he call him such name? Now I finally got the answer. NNAMDI KANU IS NOTING BUT A CATALYST NOT ONLY IN THE ZOO CALLED NIGERIA, BUT ALL OVER THE WORLD, any where that young man steps his foot on, 70% of the people must dance to his own tone.
It's now crystal clear that Biafra is really God's kingdom that must be restored on earth, I hope you can see the reason why God harden the heart of the zoo DSS/SSS and the chief terrorist muhamadu buhari By not obeying the court orders?
I once stated in one of my article which says that "only God knows why our leader is still in detention"! We all can see that, this gospel has not gone viral! OUR LEADER IS NOW IN THE PRISON TO PREACH THE GOSPEL OF GOD'S KINGDOM ON EARTH (BIAFRA) NOT TO BE IN PAIN. The news has been every where saying that under 48hrs of our leader's arrival in the prison. His inmate has been shouting BIAFRA OR DEATH . Which is, he has converted them as he converted You and I, (From Nigeria to Biafra)

So I am no more worried because, I have known that he is only but a Messenger /Evangelist. I CALL HIM THE SECOND MESSIAH!! That man is not ordinary. all we can do now is to pray for him and keep his commandment, because he is coming out with Biafra restoration!! All hail biafra.

Nnamdi Kanu warning prison officer not to push him.
Mazi Kanu was caught on tape telling one of the prison officer that the handcuff he place on him was upside down, which is rather embarrassing to an officer of that class.Nnamdi Kanu warning prison officer not to push him.
Kanu went ahead to ask the officer if he want to be famous, when the officer was reluctant to undo his mistake, probably he (Kanu) want to help the poor prison officer to be famous and place him in the good book of Buhari.
Nnamdi Kanu Radiating with smiles to his supporters outside the court.
One of many Biafran supporter who was fortunate enough to come close to Director was heard saying “I AM A TRUE BIAFRAN FOR LIFE, I WILL NEVER SABOTAGE” and the man with LION heart responded with “BIAFRA or DEATH” so amazing to see Biafran leader leading by example.
Biafra is a country. Naturally which has been in existence over 5000 years go, every country has citizens. Therefore, citizens are to their country, as their country is to them citizenry, and country are interwoven. There is no way you can kill a country without wiping out the entire Citizens that make up that Country. Nobody killed Biafra. When two wearing Countries feel the fatigue of war, they will down their weapons, and seek for settlements. They start again in the event no favorable settlements were reached. A good example is the wars between the Arabs and the Jews State of Israel. No one abandons tasks of identity started by his Fores. Our Ancestors did the right thing when they established our own fatherland Biafra. Unavoidable circumstances forced them to put a stop or a page, believing that the coming generation will take it from where they left and bring it to a logical conclusion. That is exactly where we are as per now.
Make no mistake no body can kill Biafra. Let us get going. Biafra forever, from our Ancestors to our generation to the next generation, to another, and so it will be world without end... Iseee
Long Live United Republic Of Biafra. Long Live South-South, Long live South-East, Long live Nnandi Kalu Long Live the IPOB, Long Live the lovers of freedom!!!!

This useless man stop torching me mind your self Nnamdi Kanu tell security man. All hail Biafra #freeBiafra #freeNnamdiKanu

BIAFRA AN ATTACK ON IJAW IS AN ATTACK ON BIAFRANS

Sunday, 24 January 2016

BIAFRA
AN ATTACK ON IJAW IS AN ATTACK ON BIAFRANS
Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo
The Nigerian government led by General Muhammadu Buhari should wake up from its dream, and stop whipping a dead horse. The concoction called Nigeria expired along side the “amalgamation contract” in 2014. Nigeria government should know that massacring and exploiting the Ijaw people of Biafra land will no longer be business as usual. The cabals running the cartel called Nigeria divided us with lies from the pit of hell and made us hate brothers with passion, to make it possible for them to be milking away our resources for over 50 years without considering our welfare. They have always kidnapped and in some cases, killed any one of us who dares question the inhuman activities against us. You pushed us to the fence and we cant retreat further. You must know that the game has changed.
The Nigerian government’s attack on the ex-militant leader (Ibe-ebidouwei of Ijaw ) Government Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo for theft and money laundering with other ex-militants, including the cancellation of the proposed Maritime University in Delta State is continuity in the grand plan to exterminate Biafrans and take over their land.
The invasion of Delta Rivers, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Abia and all parts of Biafra land by the Nigeria army, navy, DSS EFCC and Police should stop as Biafrans will not take any nonsense from the Nigerian government any more. If the Nigeria government is really out to fight corruption, let them start with probing Buhari's campaign funding. Nigerians would love to know where the Billions Buhari spent in his campaign came from since he claimed he borrowed money to buy his nomination form. Nigeria Government should stop witch hunting Biafrans when all the Hausa Fulani and Yoruba politicians that looted the treasury are walking freely. The EFCC boss should be probed for all the trillion  Naira fraud he committed in office. Government Ekpemupolo alias Tompolo is a Biafran and the Nigerian Government in their Best interest should desist from hunting Biafrans simply because we have realised the fraud with which they divided us. So any attempt to declare Tompolo wanted will spell doom and disaster for the already fragile Nigeria state.
Let me unequivocally tell General Muhammadu Buhari that any action against any ex-militant from any part of Biafra land or against any Biafran community, will spell unimaginable disaster for the Nigerian state. Nigerian blood sucking agents should leave Biafrans alone.

Metro Trouble as Sacked DSS Officials Expose Daura's Dirty Laundry

1.

Nigeria - The Department of State Services is currently undergoing a turbulent moment following the recent retrenchment of some top officials of the agency.

The DSS days ago had forced some officials to go on "compulsory retirement". The service's ex spokesperson Marilyn Ogar, Goodluck Jonathan's ex CSO, Gordon Obua, President Muhammadu Buhari's former CSO, Abdulrahman Mani along with a number of others were sacked.
Mr. Obua however has said he would challenge the decision of the SSS in court, as the service failed to establish anything incriminating against him when he was detained and quizzed over alleged corruption.
Other affected officers also cried foul over the service’s decision, saying their retirement or dismissal were borne out of malice than “on-going re-organisation in the Service”.
They narrated how the DG of the agency, Lawal Daura recalled an officer, named Ibrahim Audu, who had earlier been sacked for failing to return a service pistol he absconded with illegally.
According to the officers, Mr. Audu went on Absence Without Leave (AWOL) with the pistol, which he did not sign for.
When he finally showed up weeks later, he claimed the weapon had been snatched from him, and was missing.
The man was dismissed from service.
But when Mr. Daura returned as DG, having been appointed from retirement, he promptly reinstated the man, our sources said.
“The offence is liable for dismissal. But because of favouritism, he was recalled, while others who did not commit any clear offence were dismissed from service. This is sheer injustice,”

Nnamdi Kanu
Reports coming live from Abuja to may30.org has it that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu the leader of Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) have arrived in court around 8:30am this morning the 25th of January 2015. The Indomitable leader of Indigenous People Of Biafra arrived with two other accused persons under a heavy security presence. The team representing mazi Nnamdi Kanu is said to numbered over ten lawyers, the team is led by the most accomplished legal luminary in the person of Chuks Muoma SAN, also the leader of Lower Niger Congress Mr. Tony Nnadi is also seen around the court premises in what many observers considered as a show of support to his comrade in Biafra restoration.
The serenity of the federal high court Maitama Abuja is never in doubt but has been presently suffused with much apprehension.
The arrival of truck load of armed mobile police men heralded the much expected court appearance of a man who has deprived Nigerian government lots of sleep, and the person is no other than mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the fearless, unshakable and uncompromisable  leader of Indigenous People Of Biafra(IPOB).
Former Northern Military Officer expose plans to massacre Niger Deltans
In what appears to be the shocker of the year, a retired northern military officer, Colonel Hassan Sabo has voiced a plot to massacre Niger Deltans using Obasanjo's crime against humanity, the worthless Odi example.
Rtd Col. Hassan Sabo threatened to level communities in the Niger Delta just as former President Obasanjo leveled Odi in Bayelsa state.
Sabo made the threat on live television during Channels TV Programme 'Sunrise Daily' while reacting to renewed bombing of oil pipelines. He said, "If I have my way, the Obasanjo levelling of Odi will take place in some of these ND communities if they don't fish out those boys"
"Niger Delta communities should hand in the criminals else they should be dealt the Odi treatment"
Here comes the man that said, *I WILL DESTROY NIGERIA WITH THE TRUTH*
I am overwhelmed with tears of joy when I saw these pictures. Indeed he is the man,he is the man that will lead us to that promise land, Our late Hero Odumegwu Ojukwu showed him the way and he Nnamdi kanu is here to lead us to that promise land. Nothing can stop him!! HE IS FEARLESS IN THE PRESENCE OF HIS ENEMIES (EVEN SMILING AT THE POINT OF HIS DEATH) OMG! Biafrans we are matching forward! Since our leader is unshakeable , who are we to relent in this struggle?
NEVER!! SHALL WE GO BACK TO NIGERIA AGAIN!!! (Not even at the point of our Death) for we have determined to die for what we believed in! THE SPIRIT OF THE FALLEN HEROES IS ALIVE!! AND WE ARE HERE TO TAKE WHAT RIGHTFULLY BELONGS TO US, WHICH IS BIAFRA!!.
I will follow this fearless man until Biafra is restored even if I Die/Jailed on the process , so be it!! THE ZOO CALLED NIGERIA IS FINISHED! (UNU GA EKWETE)

MR IBU EXPLODES: I AM A BIAFRAN, RELEASE KANU AND DIALOGUE WITH HIM

By Eastern Radio, Monday, 25 January 2016
I AM A BIAFRAN, RELEASE KANU AND DIALOGUE WITH HIM--- MR. IBU
Ifeanyi chijioke, Chima Onyekachi and Issac Okonkwo of Family writers/ journalists interview with Nollywood comedian John Okafor known as Mr.Ibu
Walking humorously into his hotel lodge, everything about him would make you laugh. So friendly and always happy as the select team of Family writers/journalists approached him, "please soldiers just come into my hotel room" he said as he welcomed us into his hotel lodge smiling. Immediately we introduced our selves as Family writers/journalists from Biafra times, he lost his sense of humour and waited our questions. When asked about Kanu and federal government of Nigeria.
He expressed concern on why the federal government had to flout court orders " if the court has released that man, why not allow him to go, release Kanu and dialogue with him" he sympathetically pleaded to us and forgot we are not Buhari. Reacting to further questions on if he is a Biafran " I am a Biafran, I am from the east so I am a Biafran" he however repeatedly hammered on the need for Biafrans to continue being peaceful while going about the quest for freedom and pleaded there should be dialogue hence there is no longer love between Hausa/Fulani and Biafrans neither do Yorubas love any. Coming to you soon is his full interview granted to Biafran Family writers/journalists

For all those selfish saboteurs/Igbo politicians who never believed that the Igbo's are being treated badly in this country, and who refused to say a word when some Igbo youths were killed like rats and thrown into Ezu River in Anambra state, the so called Igbo leaders who remained mute when some harmless, innocent protesters were shot by Nigerian police and army for exercising their human right in the east. Their case shall be worse than Metu's case. Amen.

Why Are Igbos ALWAYS Envied, Hated & Attacked Unjustifiably In Nigeria?
Before the last election, during the campaign, 18 luxury buses belonging to Chisco Transport Company were BURNED in Lagos by APC thugs!
Now... I've taken time to discover that some other Nigerian ethnic groups are in the shameless habit of taking out their frustrations whatsoever on Ndi-Igbo and for unjustifiable reasons.
The most disturbing part of this iniquity is that they can't differentiate between the igbos and the south south they brand all Igbo's and kill all.
An Hausa/Fulani man will be angered by a Yoruba man, instead of fighting the Yoruba that offended him, he'll search for an innocent Igbo/south south to kill or destroy his belongings, just to take out that anger .
A Yoruba would be frustrated over his inabilities & misfortune as an individual. Instead of finding a solution to his problems, he'll claim Igbos are the ones stopping him from buying up all the properties in Yorubaland which should have made him richer than Bill Gates.
In some other places, Igbos are unnecessarily blamed for the woes of others due to callous rants that Igbos are everywhere, buying up properties, taking up legal possession of market places & dominating what these antagonists preposterously "claim" should be meant for others .
Politically, the story is the same! An Hausa/Fulani man will lose an election; The next day their ill-bred youths will take to the streets in the North, destroying properties owned by the Igbo/south south and foolishly asking why Igbos didn't vote for a Northerner. The 2011 records and others are there as proof.
I can go on recounting instances to prove this and it just played out again in APC's Lagos State!
Isn't it a shame on the Hausa/Fulani/Yoruba led APC that their frustrated youths, 'professional' street urchins & hoodlums would be sponsored to carry out unwarranted attack on Igbo-owned establishment just because the company support Goodluck Jonathan's re-election bid?
18 Luxury buses belonging to 'Chisco Transport Company' were burnt down because of 'Goodluck Jonathan posters' on the buses; And also for a 'Jonathan campaign billboard' mounted around the Chisco office in Jibowu Lagos. We all know that this is beyond barbarity, foolishness, madness & a glaring defeatist show against the Igbo yet again!
In reaction to the dastardly act by APC hoodlums, Jonathan said...
" I was surprised last night when the owner of Chisco, the company that runs transport business between Lagos and the South East told me that 18 of his luxury buses were burnt down in Lagos by youths of rival party because my billboard was close to his facility. Is that the kind of people that want to take over the running of this country? Is this country going to be managed by people with that kind of background? "
Jonathan can say that again! Obviously but regretfully, it has come to the stage where unavoidable ethnic sentiments may play a major role in the decision making by the right-thinking 'Igbo men'.

The APC is GLARINGLY an anti-Igbo/south south arrangement. If you are Igbo/south south engaging in the grandstanding for the anti-Igbo/south south APC, use your head now OR your head will be used in the end!
The Igbo is synonymous with WISDOM; Therefore, a word is enough.

 ****The boss and his minder****
His power, strength and unbroken spirit comes from ABOVE, he never moved by the things they do to his body and he will remain ADAMANT until Biafra is RESTORED then we all shall rejoice in it.
For those Igbos who are in support of Evil and criminal abuse of power by Buhari and his thugs DSS, let them remember the Igbo adage that said "Njo onye metara na echea ya na ihu" it will not be long for all the corrupt IGBO LEADERS to meet the evils they have committed against their fellow men whereas they supposed to stand on path of truth & justice.
We have no other outcome from this struggle but 100% BIAFRA RESTORATION of which Nnamdi Kanu have taken the battle upon himself.
Nnamdi Kanu you will live to witness Biafra.
Yes our director, it is Biafra or death. Our protest will continue. You are a leader. I salute your courage. You are indeed a true leader. He more courageous formidable Biafra or Death prophet of our time messenger of our time ordained to restore our great nation!(Biafra) Most importantly he is whiter than snow. He stands on truth.
When they said he apologised to buhari of all people, that was when i knew the Nigerian govt. had lost it & has nothing legal to use against biafrans.
Nnamdi KANU A leader who is whiter than white and whiter than snow. Director is fearless before his enemies, He is unstoppable
He is a true leader... We must support him in all way round, we can't let him down
Long Live United Republic Of Biafra. Long Live South-South, Long live South-East, Long live Nnandi Kalu Long Live the IPOB, Long LIve the lovers of freedom !!!!
NEVER IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND HAD A MAN THROUGH HIS VOICE DROVE PALPITATION AND FEAR INTO THE HEART OF THE ISLAMIC WORLD AS Mazi Nnamdi Kanu DID AND IS STILL DOING.
You are a hero!  May the God of Biafra protect you, I love man of action, you are Moses of the indigenous people of Biafra IPOB,God is with you,we biafrans are praying for you
Mohamadu Buhari led evil forest ZOO Nigeria and the entire north and western Nigeria will never recover from the blow of Nnamdi's voice.
And as long as the earth remains, south east and south south will never again obey the divide and rule from Nigeria that have killed millions of indigenous people of Biafra IPOB.
VERY SOON, AFRICA AND THE WORLD WILL KNOW THAT BIAFRA IS THE ONLY POWER THAT WILL CRIPPLE ISLAMIC TERRORISM GLOBALLY.
Though Kanu is yet to be released by the dying Nigeria, he is now a hero and mentor to many people across the world.
As Nigeria is dying and will one day give up the ghost, so also those who operated it will die with it.
But Biafra lives on, Nnamdi Kanu lives on, the indigenous people of Biafra IPOB lives on.
THANK YOU AMAECHI! YOU ARE NOW ONE OF US - AREWA Thanks Amaechi for Cancelling Proposed Maritime University in Delta.
Honorable Minister for Transport, Rt. Hon Rotimi Amaechi, we are really pleased with your continuous exceptional kind gestures towards the North, in spite of the attacks on your person and ideology from some sections of the country as a result of that.
We first took cognizance of your extreme love for the North when you courageously supported the then Jega-led INEC creation of additional 30,000 polling units, at a time that Southern Leaders led by former Vice President Alex Ekwueme, Chief Edwin Clark, Senator Femi Okuronmu and Bishop Bolanle Gbonigi, were strongly against it for favouring the North against the South. You boldly and openly criticised the then president, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan for halting it because it favoured the North.
Honorable Minister Sir, we also appreciate the pivotal role you played in the emergence of Muhammadu Buhari as the
APC presidential candidate as well as his victory at the polls. Even though it was totally against the will of your people, but you shunned ethnic sentiments and placed the interest of the country first before that of your people. We salute such
unprecedented patriotic gesture.
Sir you gladdened our hearts when you announced the cancellation of the needless NIMASA proposed Maritime University in Gbaramatu Delta State, because of the plan of this government to upgrade the Nigerian Aviation College in Zaria to a university status.

 Press Release
. THE FOLLY OF BUHARI AND DSS FALSE CLAIMS CONCERNING NNAMDI KANU’S ENTRY INTO
NIGERIA
. During his media chat of December 30, 2015, Retired Major General Muhammadu Buhari, the
current president of Nigeria, falsely claimed that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of Indigenous
People of Biafra (IPOB), entered into Nigeria without a passport. Mr. Buhari further stated that Mazi
Nnamdi Kanu has two passports (one British and one Nigerian) which, in Buhari’s warped way of
thinking, makes Mazi Nnamdi Kanu a criminal and therefore guilty of a non-bailable offence.
For the avoidance of doubts and to put the records straight, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu legally left Britain
through Heathrow Airport on his way to Nigeria. It is inconceivable to think of how he could be
allowed to board an international flight without producing his passport at Heathrow Airport of all
places! What Mr. Buhari indirectly insinuated was that the British Security and Immigration systems
are in shambles, dysfunctional, and obviously compromised.
On the other hand, this same Buhari’s statement when presented by DSS’ lawyer, was deemed
inadmissible and was subsequently struck out by a Judge of the High court during the recent trial.
We would like to remind the world that even if Mazi Nnamdi Kanu entered Nigeria without valid
document/passport, the Nigerian Immigrations Law stipulates detention for a maximum period of 7
days followed by deportation. It is disheartening to read from some terribly compromised Nigerian
media that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was detained, albeit illegally, for over 98 days because of the false
claims of Buhari and his DSS as noted above.
. We make bold to state that the statements by Mr. Buhari and his DSS were not only false but also
indicative of people without grounded understanding of the workings and efficiency of British
Security & Immigrations systems. Buhari and his DSS, by their statements, have shown a lack of
understanding of Nigerian Immigration Laws. Their statements should be ignored and thrown to the
trash and all well-meaning media organizations with high integrity should distance themselves from
these ill-conceived and unintelligent utterances coming from Mr. Buhari and his DSS.

Devaluation Of Naira Inevitable - American Govt.
Published by Family Writers
According to US Commerce Secretary Penny Pritzker, the Nigerian government's foreign exchange policies over the past year are hindering the ability of US companies to do business in Nigeria.
US companies have “been quite explicit it’s a barrier to trade,” Pritzker said in an interview on Monday in Lagos.

The CBN, with Buhari’s backing, has tried stop the currency weakening amid a rout in prices of oil, by restricting imports and foreign exchange trading.
The apex bank has pegged the naira at 197-199 since March and foreign investors have sold naira bonds and stocks to avoid a devaluation they see as all but inevitable. Experts say the currency will weaken 20% to 249.5 per dollar in three months, while the black market rate fell to a record 305 this month.
The policies also hurt Nigerian manufacturers because they import about 52% of their inputs and need dollars to pay for those, she said.
“It sounds like you’re starting to see factory lay-offs,” Pritzker said. “That’s not good for Nigeria. And, of course, President Buhari is focused on inclusive growth. So, pointing out some of the contradictions between objectives and policies is part of the conversation we’ll have.”
Pritzker said she will raise the issue with President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo in Abuja, the capital, on Tuesday.

We Want Biafra – Niger Delta Youths
Monday, 25 January 2016
Oh! my fellow youths of South south and South East, why the media attack on each other because of Biafra? Have you forgotten that this is exactly what the greedy parasites and traitors want? We don’t need to fight ourselves because, whether we like it or not one day we will surely be called BIAFRANS! Let me address the South South wing because I am a proud son of the South South. It is laughable that we the people of South South keep saying that we are not happy with the way the Hausa/ Fulanis are treating us, but still we are not Biafrans.
We want Niger Delta Republic? Hahahahahahaha please forgive my laughter, i laughed because there is no such thing like Niger Delta Republic, it has not been established anywhere or recognised by anybody. If at all anything like that would exist, it will emanate from the discussion between the South South And South East upon the realisation of Biafra and not from the present Nigeria. I said so because, we are equal with the South East virtually in every aspect, they will not marginalize us because they cannot marginalize us the way these parasites are doing, we match the South East in military power, economically and population. My people, it is completely baseless to think that the Igbos would marginalize us in a new country
All we (SS and SE) need to do is to unite and synergize to wrestle our freedom from these parasitic demons. I am sounding like this because i am fully convinced that secession crises that will lead to war is inevitable in this country, though i would have wished for a peaceful and credible referendum. We the people of South South need to state clearly where we belong, and we don’t need to make the same mistake we made in the past.
How can we and some parts of the South East will be sustaining the whole country, still they regard us as inconsequential and second class citizens? Let us be wise and identify with our Igbo brothers and sisters who mean no harm but love for us. It is too bad that we the South South people are ludicrously contemplative, we already know that these parasites hate us, and they are only saying “one Nigeria” because of our oil, but we are still skeptical and cynical about the harmless Igbos.
We better wake up before it’s too late. I just hope our fate would not be that of Hamlet in William Shakespeare’s Hamlet, that got all the convincing signs that Claudius his Uncle killed his Father, but he was still looking for more signs to believe beyond all reasonable doubt, and that indecision led to his death. (I chose to summarize the play in past tense and not progressive tense as required of a synopsis of a theatrical piece).
In case you are not aware of the signs that they don’t mean well for us, let me help you with some.
The killing of Ken Saro Wiwa after he helped them to drive the Biafran soldiers out of Rivers state and its Environs.
The blocking of our agitation of resource control at the 2005 National Political Reform Conference.
The blocking of the agitation of increment of Derivation by our people in the just concluded National Conference.
The stiff opposition they gave the Petroleum Industry Bill that would have given 10% oil proceeds to host communities in our region.
The deliberate and malicious attacks on Jonathan and his aides from our region, while those from their region are being exempted from the attacks.
If after doing all these things and many more to us, and some us still see the Igbos as our enemies instead of them, then I regret to say that there is something fundamentally wrong with our thinking faculty.
We call these parasites poor and illiterate, yet they are able to manipulate us to hate and fear Igbo people, then they crept in to subvert our will and control our resources. Just imagine, poor and uneducated masters to Rich and educated slaves? Gosh! So strange, i really need to do a thorough research to know how to describe such slavery and to ascertain if such slavery has ever existed anywhere before.
Let me end my piece with this unguarded statement by Ahmadu Bello. “The new nation called Nigeria should be an estate of our great Grandfather Uthman Dan Fodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We use the minorities in the North as willing tools and the South as a conquered territory and never allow them to have control over their future” –Ahmadu Bello, 12th October, 1960.
Let’s tell them the truth: we don’t want resource control, we don’t want PIB, we don’t want derivation, what we want is BIAFRA!

Nigeria’s war over Biafra, 1967-70 Britain’s Secret Human Right Abuses:-
The formerly secret files on the Nigerian civil war in the late 1960s show very clear British complicity in the Nigerian government’s aggression against the region of Biafra, where an independence movement was struggling to secede from Nigeria. This brutal civil war resulted in between one and three million deaths; it also significantly helped shape modern Nigeria, and not least the division of oil revenues between the central government and the regions and people.
Background to civil war
For those in Britain old enough to remember the war in Nigeria in the late 1960s, ‘Biafra’ probably still conjures up images of starving children – the result of the blockade imposed by the Nigerian government in Lagos to defeat the secession of the eastern region, Biafra. For Biafrans themselves, the period was one of immense suffering – it is still not known how many died at this time as a direct result of the war and the blockade, but it is believed to be at least one million and as high as three million.
For those seeking to understand Britain’s role in the world, there is now an important side of the Biafran story to add – British complicity in the slaughter. The declassified files show that the then Wilson government backed the Nigerian government all the way, arming its aggression and apologising for its actions. It is one of the sorrier stories in British foreign policy, though by no means unusual.
The immediate background to the war was a complex one of tensions and violence between Nigeria’s regions and ethnic groups, especially between those from the east and the north. In January 1966 army officers had attempted to seize power and the conspirators, most of whom were Ibos (from the East) assassinated several leading political figures as well as officers of northern origin. Army commander Major General Ironsi, also an Ibo, intervened to restore discipline in the army, suspended the constitution, banned political parties, formed a Federal Military Government (FMG) and appointed military governors to each of Nigeria’s regions.
Ironsi’s decree in March 1966, which abolished the Nigerian federation and unified the federal and regional civil services, was perceived by many not as an effort to establish a unitary government but as a plot by the Ibo to dominate Nigeria. Troops of northern origin, who dominated the Nigerian infantry, became increasingly restive and fighting broke out between them and Ibo soldiers in garrisons in the south. In June, mobs in northern cities, aided by local officials, carried out a pogrom against resident Ibos, massacring several hundred people and destroying Ibo-owned property.
It was in this context that in July 1966 northern officers staged a countercoup during which Ironsi and other Ibo officers were killed. Lieutenant Colonel (later General) Yakubu ‘Jack’ Gowon emerged as leader. The aim of the coup was both to take revenge on the Ibos for the coup in January but also to promote the secession of the north, although Gowon soon pulled back from calling explicitly for this. Gowon named himself as the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and head of the military government, which was rejected by the military governor in the eastern region, Lieutenant Colonel Ojukwu, who claimed, with some justification, that the Gowon regime was illegitimate.
Throughout late 1966 and 1967 the tempo of violence increased. In September 1966 attacks on Ibos in the north were renewed with unprecedented ferocity, stirred up, eastern region officials believed, by northern political leaders. Reports circulated that troops from the northern region had participated in the massacres. The estimated number of deaths ranged from 10,000 to as high as 30,000. More than one million Ibos returned to the eastern region in fear.
In January 1967 the military leaders met in Aburi, Ghana. By this time the eastern region under Ojukwu was threatening secession. Many of Ojukwu’s eastern colleagues were now arguing that the massacres the previous September showed that the country could not be reunited amicably. In a last minute effort at Aburi to hold Nigeria together, an accord was agreed that provided for a loose confederation of regions. Gowon issued a decree implementing the Aburi agreement and even the northern region now favoured the formation of a multistate federation. The federal civil service, however, vigorously opposed the Aburi agreement and sought to scupper it.
Ojukwu and Gowon then disputed what exactly had been agreed at Aburi, especially after the Federal Military Government (FMG) issued a further decree in March which was seen by Ojukwu as reneging on the FMG’s commitment at Aburi to give the eastern region greater autonomy. The new decree gave the federal government the right to declare a state of emergency in any region and to ensure that any regional government could not undermine the executive authority of the federal government. Ojukwu then gave an ultimatum to Gowon that the eastern region would begin implementing its understanding of the Aburi agreement, providing for greater regional autonomy, by 31 March.
While Biafra was threatening to secede and declare an independent state, the FMG imposed sanctions against it to bring it into line. On 26 May the eastern region consultative assembly voted to secede from Nigeria and the following day Gowon declared a state of emergency throughout the country, banned political activity and announced a decree restoring full powers to the FMG. Also announced was a decree dividing the country into twelve states, including six in the north and three in the east.
On 30 May 1967 Biafra declared independence and on 7 July the FMG began operations to defeat it. It lasted until January 1970 as an extremely well-equipped Nigerian federal army of over 85,000 men supplied by Britain, the Soviet Union and few others, took on a volunteer Biafran army, much of whose equipment initially came from captured Nigerian supplies and which only later was able to procure relatively small quantities of arms from outside.
The background is therefore very complex and it remains far from clear cut as to where the ‘blame’ lay for the failure of peaceful negotiations and the resort to war. It does appear, however, that the FMG did go back on its agreement at Aburi on the extent of regional autonomy it was prepared to offer the easterners. Before they began to back the FMG unequivocally once war began, British officials had previously recognised the legitimacy of some of Ojukwu’s claims. The High British Commissioner in Lagos, Sir Francis Cumming-Bruce, had told Gowon in November 1966, for example, that the September 1966 massacres of the Ibos in the north ‘changed the relationship between the regions and made it impossible for eastern Nigerians to associate with northerners on the same basis as in the past’. The issue was one of basic ‘law and order and physical safety throughout the federation’. He told Gowon that the FMG had to go ‘a considerable distance to meet the views of Colonel Ojukwu’.
British officials also recognised that the Aburi agreements were ‘extremely woolly on many important points and lend themselves to infinite arguments over interpretation’. By end January 1967 Cumming-Bruce was saying that both Gowon and Ojuwku were ‘seriously at fault and they share responsibility for poisoning of atmosphere [sic]’.
Then there was the wider question of whether it was legitimate for a region to secede and whether Biafra should have been allowed to establish its independence. Again, a lot of complex issues are involved. British officials feared that if Biafra were to secede many other regions in Africa would too, threatening ‘stability’ across the whole of the continent. Most of the great powers, including the US and Soviet Union, shared this view largely for the same reason.
Yet there appears to be no reason why Biafra, with its 15 million people, could not have established a viable, independent state. Biafrans argued that they were a people with a distinctive language and culture, that they were Christian as opposed to the Muslim communities lumped into the Nigeria federal state, which had, after all, been a colonial creation. In fact, Biafra was also one of the most developed regions in Africa with a high density of roads, schools, hospitals and factories. The struggle for an independent state certainly appeared to have the support of the majority of Biafrans, whose sense of nationhood deepened throughout the war as enormous sacrifices were made to contribute to the war effort.
What is crystal clear is that the wishes of the Biafrans were never a major concern of British planners; what they wanted, or what Nigerians elsewhere in the federation wanted, was simply not an issue for Whitehall. There is simply no reference in the government files, that I have seen, to this being a consideration. The priorities for London were maintaining the unity of Nigeria for geo-political interests and protecting British oil interests. This meant that Gowon’s FMG was backed right from the start. But the files also reveal astonishing levels of connivance with the FMG’s aggression.
Nigerian aggression, British support
British interests are very clearly revealed in the declassified files. ‘Our direct interests are trade and investment, including an important stake by Shell/BP in the eastern Region. There are nearly 20,000 British nationals in Nigeria, for whose welfare we are of course specially [sic] concerned’, the Foreign Office noted a few days before the outbreak of the war. Shell/BP’s investments amounted to around £200 million, with other British investment in Nigeria accounting for a further £90 million. It was then partly owned by the British government, and the largest producer of oil which provided most of Nigeria’s export earnings. Most of this oil was in the eastern region.
Commonwealth Minister George Thomas wrote in August 1967 that: ‘The sole immediate British interest in Nigeria is that the Nigerian economy should be brought back to a condition in which our substantial trade and investment in the country can be further developed, and particularly so we can regain access to important oil installations’.
Thomas further outlined the primary reason why Britain was so keen to preserve Nigerian unity, noting that ‘our only direct interest in the maintenance of the federation is that Nigeria has been developed as an economic unit and any disruption of this would have adverse effects on trade and development’. If Nigeria were to break up, he added: ‘We cannot expect that economic cooperation between the component parts of what was Nigeria, particularly between the East and the West, will necessarily enable development and trade to proceed at the same level as they would have done in a unified Nigeria; nor can we now count on the Shell/BP oil concession being regained on the same terms as in the past if the East and the mid-West assume full control of their own economies’.
Ojukwu initially tried to get Shell/BP to pay royalties to the Biafran government rather than the FMG. The oil companies, after giving the Biafrans a small token payment, eventually refused and Ojuwku responded by sequestering Shell’s property and installations, forbidding Shell to do any further business and ordering all its staff out. They ‘have much to lose if the FMG do not achieve the expected victory’, George Thomas noted in August 1967. A key British aim throughout the war was to secure the lifting of the blockade which Gowon imposed on the east and which stopped oil exports.
In the run-up to Gowon’s declaration of war, Britain had made it clear to the FMG that it completely supported Nigerian unity. George Thomas had told the Nigerian High Commissioner in London at the end of April 1967, for example, that ‘the Federal government had our sympathy and our full support’ but said that he hoped the use of force against the east could be avoided. On 28 May Gowon, having just declared a state of emergency, explicitly told Britain’s Defence Attache that the FMG was likely to ‘mount an invasion from the north’. Gowon asked whether Britain would provide fighter cover for the attack and naval support to reinforce the blockade of Eastern ports; the Defence Attache replied that both were out of the question.
By the time Gowon ordered military action in early July, therefore, Britain had refused Nigerian requests to be militarily involved and had urged Gowon to seek a ‘peaceful’ solution. However, the Wilson government had also assured Gowon of British support for Nigerian unity at a time when military preparations were taking place. And Britain had also made no signs that it might cut off, or reduce, arms supplies if a military campaign were launched.
The new High Commissioner in Lagos, Sir David Hunt, wrote in a memo to London on 12 June that the ‘only way… of preserving unity [sic] of Nigeria is to remove Ojukwu by force’. He said that Ojukwu was committed to remaining the ruler of an independent state and that British interests lay in firmly supporting the FMG.
Before going to war, Gowon began what was to become a two and half year long shopping list of arms that the FMG wanted from Britain. On 1 July he asked Britain for jet fighter/bomber aircraft, six fast boats and 24 anti-aircraft guns. ‘We want to help the Federal Government in any way we can’, British officials noted. However, Britain rejected supplying the aircraft, fearing that they would publicly demonstrate direct British intervention in the war and, at this stage, also rejected supplying the boats. London did, however, agree to supply the anti-aircraft guns and to provide training courses to use them.
The Deputy High Commissioner in Enugu, Biafra’s main city, noted that the supply of these anti-aircraft guns and their ammunition would be seen as British backing for the FMG and also that they were not entirely defensive weapons anyway since ‘they could also take on an offensive role if mounted in an invasion fleet’. Nevertheless, the government’s news department was instructed to stress the ‘defensive nature of these weapons’ when pressed but generally to avoid publicity on their export from Britain. High Commissioner Hunt said that ‘it would be better to use civil aircraft’ to deliver these guns and secured agreement from the Nigerians that ‘there would be no publicity’ in supplying them.
Faced with Gowon’s complaints about Britain not supplying more arms, Wilson also agreed in mid-July to supply the FMG with the fast patrol boats. This was done in the knowledge that they would help the FMG maintain the blockade against Biafra. Wilson wrote to Gowon saying that ‘we have demonstrated in many ways our support for your government as the legal government of Nigeria and our refusal to recognise the secessionists’. He also told him that Britain does ‘not intend to put any obstacle in the way’ of orders for ‘reasonable quantities of military material of types similar to those you have obtained here in the past’. Gowon replied saying that ‘I have taken note of your concurrence for the usual purchases of arms supplies to continue and will take advantage of what is available now and others when necessary’.
By early August Biafran forces had made major gains against the FMG and had invaded the mid-West region. Commonwealth Minister George Thomas noted that ‘the chances of a clear-cut military decision being achieved by either side now look rather distant’. Rather, ‘we are now faced with the probability of an escalating and increasingly disorderly war, with both sides shopping around for arms’. In this situation, he raised the option of Britain launching a peace offensive and halting all arms supplies. But this was rejected by David Hunt in Lagos and others since it would cause ‘great resentment’ on the part of the FMG against the British government and be regarded as a ‘hostile act’. Instead, the government decided to continue the flow of arms and ammunition of types previously supplied by Britain but to continue to refuse supplies of ‘sophisticated equipment’ like aircraft and tanks.
The decision to continue arms exports was taken when it had already become clear in the behaviour of the Nigerian forces that any weapons supplied would be likely to be used against civilians. It was also at a time when Commonwealth Secretary General Arnold Smith was making renewed attempts to push for peace negotiations after having been rebuffed by Gowon in a visit to Lagos in early July.
By early November 1967 the FMG had pushed back the Biafrans and captured Enugu; British officials were now reporting that the FMG had ‘a clear military advantage’. Now that our side seemed like winning, talk of reducing arms to them disappeared; George Thomas now said that ‘it seems to me that British interests would now be served by a quick FMG victory’. He recommended that the arms export policy be ‘relaxed’ and to supply Lagos with items that ‘have importance in increasing their ability to achieve a quicker victory’. This meant ‘reasonable quantities’ of equipment such as mortars and ‘infantry weapons generally’, though not aircraft or other ‘sophisticated’ equipment.
On 23 November 1967 the Cabinet agreed that ‘a quick Federal military victory’ provided the best hope for ‘an early end to the fighting’. By early December, Commonwealth Secretary George Thomson [sic, not Thomas. need also to check cos he may have been FO minister at this time’ he certainly became CW sec by mid 68] noted that the ‘lack of supplies and ammunition is one of things that are holding operations up’. He said that Britain should agree to the FMG’s recent shopping list since ‘a favourable response to this request ought to give us every chance of establishing ourselves again as the main supplier of the Nigerian forces after the war’. If the war ended soon, the Nigerian economy will start expanding and ‘there should be valuable business to be done’. Also: ‘Anything that we now do to assist the FMG should help our oil companies to re-establish and expand their activities in Nigeria after the war, and, more generally should help our commercial and political relationship with postwar Nigeria’.
He ended by saying he hoped Britain could supply armoured cars since they ‘have proved of especial value in the type of fighting that is going on in Nigeria and the FMG are most impressed with the Saladins and Ferrets’ previously supplied by Britain.
As a result Britain supplied six Saladin armoured personnel carriers (APCs), 30 Saracen APCs along with 2,000 machine guns for them, anti-tank guns and 9 million rounds of ammunition. Denis Healey, the Defence Secretary, wrote that he hoped these supplies will encourage the Nigerians ‘to look to the United Kingdom for their future purchases of defence equipment’. By the end of the year Britain had also approved the export of 1,050 bayonets, 700 grenades, 1,950 rifles with grenade launchers, 15,000 lbs of explosives and two helicopters.
In the first half of the following year, 1968, Britain approved the export of 15 million rounds of ammunition, 21,000 mortar bombs, 42,500 Howtizer rounds, 12 Oerlikon guns, 3 Bofors guns, 500 submachine guns, 12 Saladins with guns and spare parts, 30 Saracens and spare parts, 800 bayonets, 4,000 rifles and two other helicopters. At the same time Wilson was constantly reassuring Gowon of British support for a united Nigeria, saying in April 1968 that ‘I think we can fairly claim that we have not wavered in this support throughout the civil war’.
These massive arms exports were being secretly supplied – indeed, massively stepped up – at a time when one could read about the actions of the recipients in the newspapers. After the Biafran withdrawal from the mid-west in September 1967 a series of massacres started against Ibo residents. The New York Times reported that over 5,000 had been killed in various towns of the mid west. About 1,000 Ibos were killed in Benin city by local people with the acquiescence of the federal forces, the New York Review noted in December 1967. Around 700 Ibo males were lined up and shot in the town of Asaba, the Observer reported in January 1968. According to eyewitnesses the Nigerian commander ordered the execution of every Ibo male over the age of ten.
Nigerian officials informed the British government that the arms were ‘important to them, but not vital’. More important than the actual arms ‘was the policy of the British government in supporting the FMG’.
This support was now taking place amid public and parliamentary pressure for a halt to British arms to Lagos, with 70 Labour MPs, for example, filing a motion for such an embargo in May 1968. Yet the real extent of arms supplied by Britain was concealed from the public.
Throughout 1967 and 1968, Ministers had been telling parliament that Britain was essentially neutral in the conflict in that it was not interfering in the internal affairs of Nigeria but simply continuing to supply arms to Nigeria on the same basis as before the war. As the declassified files, referred to above, show, this was simply a lie. For example, Wilson told the House on 16 May 1968 that: ’We have continued the supply… of arms by private manufacturers in this country exactly on the basis that it has been in the past, but there has been no special provision for the needs of the war’.
One British file at this time – mid-1968 – refers to deaths of between 70,000-100,000 by now as ‘realistic’. The Red Cross was estimating around 600,000 refugees in Biafra alone and was trying to arrange desperately needed supplies to meet needs, estimated at around 30 tons a day.
Humanitarian suffering, especially starvation, was severe as a result of the FMG’s blockade of Biafra. Pictures of starving and malnourished children went around the world. The FMG was widely seen as indulging in atrocities and attacks against civilians, including apparently indiscriminate air strikes, in an increasingly brutal war in which civilians were the chief victims.
The files show that Wilson told Gowon on several occasions in private letters that he had successfully fended off public and parliamentary criticism in Britain, in order to continue to support the FMG – clearly showing where the government’s priorities and sympathies lay. As in Vietnam at the same time, Wilson was not going to be deflected by mere public opposition from backing ongoing aggression by key allies, whatever the level of atrocities and casualties.
With federal forces in control by mid-year of Port Harcourt, the most important southern coastal city, British officials noted that ‘having gone this far in supporting the FMG, it would be a pity to throw away the credit we have built up with them just when they seem to have the upper hand’. Britain could not halt the supply of arms since ‘apart from other considerations, such an outcome would seriously put at risk about £200m of British investments in non-Biafra Nigeria’, George Thomson explained to Harold Wilson.
It was also at this point that British officials sought to counter widespread opposition to the Nigerian government by conniving with it to improve the ‘presentation’ of its policies – another example of Britain’s past ‘information operations’ described in earlier chapters. Britain urged the FMG to convince the outside world that it was not engaged in genocide or a policy of massacre and to make public statements on the need for a ceasefire and humanitarian access to Biafra.
High Commissioner Hunt suggested to Gowon that the federal air force be used for ‘psychological warfare’ and to drop leaflets over the Ibo towns which would help the FMG score a ‘propaganda point’. Officials noted that their support for the FMG was under attack and that ‘our ability to sustain it… depends very much on implementing enlightened and humane federal policies and securing public recognition for them’. What was needed was ‘good and well-presented Nigerian policies which permit that support to continue’. Wilson therefore urged a senior Nigerian government official, Chief Enahoro, ‘to make a greater effort to ensure that their case did not go by default’.
The files indicate that these ‘presentational’ issues were much more important to British officials than any actual suffering of the Biafrans themselves. London never did anything significant to press the FMG. British officials ruled out threatening to cut off, or reduce, arms exports to force the FMG to change policies. The issue that most concerned the government at the time was that it would be forced to withdraw or reduce its support for Gowon in the face of public pressure. This, therefore, had to be countered, and the FMG needed to make greater efforts.
By mid-1968 British officials had still had no contacts with Ojukwu and other Biafran leaders; offers from the latter had been refused. So supportive was Wilson of the FMG that he even asked the Nigerians in advance whether they would have ‘any difficulties’ if a British official met a Biafran representative. Chief Enahoro replied that this would be acceptable provided the contacts were ‘strictly private and had no formal character’.
In early August FMG forces had retaken the whole of the southeastern and Rivers states and the easterners were now confined to a small enclave, blockaded from the outside world. Commonwealth Minister Lord Shepherd minuted Harold Wilson saying, that 14 months since Biafran secession: ‘Our support for the FMG finds us in the position in which we are on comparatively good terms with the side which is in an overwhelmingly advantageous position… It is important, therefore, that we should not be manoeuvred by pressure of opinion inspired by Ojukwu’s publicity, into abandoning at this late stage all the advantages which our policy so far seemed likely to bring us’. The same month, the Red Cross estimated 2-3 million people ‘in dire need’ and a similar number were facing shortages of food and medical aid.
Wilson did not succomb to public pressure. The following month he told Gowon that: ‘The British government for their part have steadfastly maintained their policy of support for Federal Nigeria and have resisted all suggestions in parliament and in the press for a change in that policy, particularly in regard to arms supplies’. The Foreign Office argued that ‘the whole of our investments in Nigeria and particularly our oil interests in the south east and the mid-west will be at risk if we change our policy of support for the federal government’.
In November, Lord Brockway and his committee for peace in Nigeria met Wilson and urged him to halt arms sales and to press for a ceasefire, estimating that there could be two million deaths from starvation and disease by the end of the year. Wilson not only rebuffed this plea; the files reveal that two days later he agreed to supply Nigeria with aircraft for the first time in a covert deal.
The Nigerians had been pressing Britain to supply several jet aircraft, specifically to attack the runways used by Biafran forces (and which also needed to be used to deliver humanitarian aid). Wilson said that Britain could not supply these directly but there were such aircraft in South Yemen and Sudan previously supplied by Britain. The Nigerians, he said, should procure the aircraft from them which ‘would not directly involve the British government’. The company to deal with in those two countries was Airwork Limited, which was later to be again used by the British government to conceal its involvement in its covert dirty war in Yemen. The British government also agreed to put the Nigerians in touch with ‘suitable pilots’.
British arms supplies were stepped up again in November. Foreign Secretary Michael Stewart said the Nigerians could have 5 million more rounds of ammunition, 40,000 more mortar bombs and 2,000 rifles. ‘You may tell Gowon’, Stewart instructed High Commissioner Hunt in Lagos, ‘that we are certainly ready to consider a further application’ to supply similar arms in the future as well. He concluded: ‘if there is anything else for ground warfare which you… think they need and which would help speed up the end of the fighting, please let us know and we will consider urgently whether we can supply it’.
Other supplies agreed in November following meetings with the Nigerians included six Saladins and 20,000 rounds of ammunition for them, and stepped up monthly supplies of ammunition, amounting to a total of 15 million rounds additional to those already agreed. It was recognised by the Defence Minister that ‘the scale of the UK supply of small arms ammunition to Nigeria in recent months has been and will continue to be on a vast scale’. The recent deal meant that Britain was supplying 36 million rounds of ammunition in the last few months alone. Britain’s ‘willingness to supply very large quantities of ammunition’, Lord Shepherd noted, ‘meant drawing on the British army’s own supplies’.
At the same time the Foreign Office was instructing its missions around the world to lie about the extent of this arms supply. It sent a ‘guidance’ memo to various diplomatic posts on 22 November saying that ‘we wish to discourage suggestions’ that the Nigerians, in their recent meetings with British officials, were seeking ‘to negotiate a massive arms deal’. Rather, ‘our policy of supplying in reasonable quantities arms of the kind traditionally supplied’ to Nigeria ‘will be maintained but no change in the recent pattern of supplies is to be expected’. So great is the culture of lying at the Foreign Office, it appears that policy is even to keep its own officials in the dark.
By the end of 1968 Britain had sold Nigeria £9 million worth of arms, £6 million of which was spent on small arms. A quarter of Nigeria’s supplies (by value) had come from the Soviet Union, also taking advantage of the war for its own benefit and trying no doubt to secure an opening into Nigeria provided by this opportunity. British officials consistently justified their arms supply by saying that if they stopped, the Russians would fill the gap. It was Britain’s oil interests, however, that was the dominating factor in Whitehall planners’ reasoning.
By the last two months of 1968, with hundreds of thousands dead by now, the fighting had reached a stalemate. The FMG had taken all Biafran territory apart from a small enclave within it consisting of 3 million people in an area the size of Kent. Biafrans were now dependent on two airstrips for outside supplies which were limited by both Gowon’s and Ojukwu’s refusals to allow sufficient numbers of aircraft to land. Humanitarian agencies were continuing calls for a ceasefire as suffering, especially starvation, had reached crisis proportions. ‘We shall continue to maintain our present policy, despite these heavy pressures on us’, Wilson told Gowon in November. Foreign Secretary Stewart instructed Lord Shepherd, on a visit to Lagos, to tell Gowon of the extraordinary steps Britain was taking to support him. Gowon should realise, Stewart said, that opposition to British policy ‘cuts right across the normal political or party divisions in the country and is especially strong in the various churches’. He also interestingly said that ‘similar feeling is also expressed within the Cabinet itself’ – such was the extremely thin base on which British support for the FMG was being provided. (One wonders about similar memos being written by Tony Blair to George Bush in 2003).
The Wilson government was keen to present itself as engaged in the search for peace – the files show that officials did so knowing that without appearing to be active they would not have been able to justify their support for the FMG. British government activity in peace negotiations invariably sought to avoid the involvement of the United Nations and was intended to support the FMG to maintain a united Nigeria and to achieve a solution on its terms only.
In public, British statements consistently blamed only the Biafrans, not the FMG, for obstructing peace negotiations and the delivery of humanitarian aid. On the latter, there were numerous proposals and counter-proposals made by both sides on the issue of night or dayflights, and river or land routes into Biafra, which obstructed the delivery of humanitarian aid to millions of suffering people. The FMG feared that the Biafrans would use the cover of humanitarian aid supplies to slip in arms deliveries; while the Biafrans believed the FMG would poison the supplies. There is no doubt that Ojukwu and the Biafran leadership were partly responsible for the failure to deliver adequate humanitarian aid, yet so were the FMG. Starvation of the Biafrans was no accident or simply a by-product of the war; it was a deliberate part of the FMG’s war policy.
Several memos by British officials that reached Wilson and other ministers painted a more accurate picture than the one pushed in public. These said that it was as least as much the FMG that were to blame as the Biafrans. Yet this never upset British policy to side unequivocally with Gowon’s FMG.
In March 1969 Wilson gave a public interview and lied that ‘we continue to supply on a limited scale arms – not bombs, not aircraft – to the government of Nigeria because we have always been their suppliers’. Not only was this untrue as a result of the agreements late the previous year; on the very same day as this interview, the government approved the export of 19 million rounds of ammunition, 10,000 grenades and 39,000 mortar bombs – bombs, that is, that Wilson had said Britain was not supplying at all, still less on a vast scale.
A day before the Wilson interview, a Foreign Office official had written that ‘we have over the last few months agreed to supply large quantities of arms and ammunition’ to Nigeria ‘to assist them in finishing the war in the absence of any further [peace] negotiations’. He also noted that ‘we have flown small arms ammunition to Nigeria… using Manston airport in Kent without attracting unfavourable press comment’.
It was therefore perhaps no surprise that Gowon could write to Wilson in April saying that ‘of all the governments in the Western world, yours has remained the only one that has openly maintained its policy of arms supplies to my government’. France, Belgium and the Netherlands, among others, had all announced a halt while the US continued its policy of not supplying arms to either side.
Two senior British RAF officers secretly visited Nigeria in August 1969 to advise the Nigerians on ‘how they could better prosecute the air war’. The main British interest, the files make clear, was to provide better protection of the oil installations, but the brief for the two officers stated that this impression should not be given to the Nigerians. The officers subsequently advised the Nigerians on a variety of tactics on ‘neutralisation of the rebel airstrips’. It was understood that destruction of the airstrips would put them out of use for daylight humanitarian relief flights. It is not clear whether such advice was put into action.
Britain armed the federal government all the way. In December 1969, just before the FMG’s final push that crushed the Biafrans, Foreign Secretary Michael Stewart was calling for stepping up military assistance including the supply of more armoured cars. These supplies by Britain, he wrote, ‘have undoubtedly been the most effective weapons in the ground war and have spear-headed all the major federal advances’.
Biafran resistance ended by mid January 1970. Wilson then sent another message to Gowon saying that ‘your army has won a decisive victory’ and has achieved ‘your great aim of preserving the unity and integrity of Nigeria’, adding: ‘As you know I and my colleagues have believed all along that you were right and we have never wavered in our support for you, your government and you policy, despite the violent attacks which have been made on us at times in parliament and in the press as well as overseas’.
The Deputy High Commissioner in Lagos added: ‘There is genuine gratitude (as indeed there should be) for what Britain has done and is still doing for this country, and in particular for Her Majesty’s Government’s courage in literally sticking to their guns over Biafra’.
The toll of the war was counted in a report for the British High Commission at the end of the month. It referred to a relief agency report estimating 1 1/2-2 million people were being fed with food relief supplies, around 700,000 of whom were refugees in camps dependent entirely on food aid. Three million refugees were crowded into a 2,500 square kilometre enclave in which not only food but medicine, housing and clothing were in short supply. The Biafran economy was shattered, cities were in ruins and schools, hospitals and transport facilities destroyed.

When we analyze politics, some people should be asking only questions instead of comments. Because they know nothing about politics and law. No body can defeat the truth.
Shame on you Great Britain! You have committed the most heinous genocide in the human history. Even without this articles we know- right from the onset that the British Government massacred our people.
I am under no delusion; I know that Britain is a country that knows nothing other than wars throughout its history. Britain should have a proper look at the Nigeria that you supported, examine the country and inform the International Community whether there is any good news that comes out of the Nigeria today, whether there is any improvement in the Nation’s economy, whether the country is being run as a modern State. The defeat of Biafra is a defeat against democracy, it is truly a defeat of civilization, human rights and it is a defeat of industrialization.
Now Nigerians lives in perpetual darkness, where all hopes has died, where fundamental freedoms is absent and where, as a matter of fact, British interests (the sole basis for the British aided genocide was committed and continues to this day) are not safe at all, where British citizens are being kidnapped, where British oil companies are still committing yet another round of genocide.
Biafrans are still alive today, and just as before the war, are the most educated people in the Nigeria, the most prosperous and the most inventive. And they are still demanding that their right and choice be respected; the right to determined their own political identity for themselves.

I am overwhelmed with tears of joy when I saw these pictures.  January 25 th , 2016 Press Release THE FOLLY OF BUHARI AND DSS FALSE CLAIMS CONCERNING NNAMDI KANU’S ENTRY INTO NIGERIA During his media chat of December 30, 2015, Retired Major General Muhammadu Buhari, the current president of Nigeria, falsely claimed that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), entered into Nigeria without a passport. Mr. Buhari further stated that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has two passports (one British and one Nigerian) which, in Buhari’s warped way of thinking, makes Mazi Nnamdi Kanu a criminal and therefore guilty of a non-bailable offence. For the avoidance of doubts and to put the records straight, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu legally left Britain through Heathrow Airport on his way to Nigeria. It is inconceivable to think of how he could be allowed to board an international flight without producing his passport at Heathrow Airport of all places! What Mr. Buhari indirectly insinuated was that the British Security and Immigration systems are in shambles, dysfunctional, and obviously compromised. On the other hand, this same Buhari’s statement when presented by DSS’ lawyer, was deemed inadmissible and was subsequently struck out by a Judge of the High court during the recent trial. We would like to remind the world that even if Mazi Nnamdi Kanu entered Nigeria without valid document/passport, the Nigerian Immigrations Law stipulates detention for a maximum period of 7 days followed by deportation. It is disheartening to read from some terribly compromised Nigerian media that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was detained, albeit illegally, for over 98 days because of the false claims of Buhari and his DSS as noted above. We make bold to state that the statements by Mr. Buhari and his DSS were not only false but also indicative of people without grounded understanding of the workings and efficiency of British Security & Immigrations systems. Buhari and his DSS, by their statements, have shown a lack of understanding of Nigerian Immigration Laws. Their statements should be ignored and thrown to the trash and all well-meaning media organizations with high integrity should distance themselves from these ill-conceived and unintelligent utterances coming from Mr. Buhari and his DSS.  ****Buhari vs Nnamdi Kanu Part2****
Coming of Biafra is not the issue with Buhari but because we were informed that Buhari took a girl of 9years old as a wife and hence he is unable to buttress the accusation, he is GUILTY.
Verdict = Buhari de chop small small PIKIN(s).
Buhari thinks he is still a military RULER by illegally holding Nnamdi Kanu in detention after three court orders for him to be released UNCONDITIONALLY but the King of the north disobeyed COURT ORDERS!
Verdict = Buhari is a law breaker.
Buhari contradicted himself by shamelessly telling the whole world during his myopic media chat that Nnamdi Kanu committed unpardonable crimes by having two passports. One Nigeria and one British but entered Nigeria with none, didn't it occur to Buhari that Nnamdi Kanu boarded his flight from Heathrow Airport in England of all places, and there is no way he could have board a plane without a PASSPORT!
Verdict = Buhari is a LIAR.
Buhari bribed a JUDGE to convict Nnamdi Kanu without knowing that OUR PROPHET sees in secret, thus is what he told the judge "I will not sacrifice the due process of the law because of speedy court process over the principal of natural process on the altar of speedy release" and the compromised judge RAN!
Verdict = Buhari LOST.
Buhari tried to bribe our leader with the promises of oil walls which are not his but our UNCOMPROMISING leader tell Satan to go behind him!
Verdict = Nnamdi Kanu had the best interests of his people at heart, he is not in the movement for personal GAINS.
Buhari plan was to held Nnamdi Kanu indefinitely in DSS dungeon being supervised by his fellow DAURA, once again it was ordered in favour of our eminent leader to be transferred to prison away from the clutches of DARKNESS OF DSS!
Verdict = Buhari LOST.
My Take!
Buhari touch not the anointed and do him no harm otherwise....OUR LEADER WILL SAY WE CONTINUE.

LIVE REPORT FROM ABUJA ON THE EVIL WARDEN WHO ASSAULTED MAZI NNAMDI KANU: After the trial of the Leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra Mazi Nnamdi Kanu at Federal High Court,Family writers/Biafra Journalist was approaching Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, while he was responding to us,an Evil and Barbaric warden assaulted him publicly, threw a punch on him and almost tore his cloth,in a ploy to stop him from getting to his Family members. I was so angry in my spirit. This same public assault of the Leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra was displayed by the Nigeria Dss. Been a journalist,I couldn't let things go by that easily and decided not to make the same mistake that was made not to get the Name of the Dss Man on Red Cap,my crew member Somto Isaac and I Ibeh Gift Amarachi, had to wait for Nnamdi Kanu who was forcefully smuggled into a room to make sure we don't conduct that interview, but we waited for him until he was pushed into the Van that conveyed back to Kuje Prison. I never gave up on the quest to make sure I get the Name of the Warden who Assaulted,Punched him by the side and Trampled on the Human Right of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. This assault made Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to pass a message to Biafrans,by asking the Evil Warden "DO YOU WANT TO BE POPULAR"? And offcourse,Mazi Nnamdi Kanu asked Biafrans to make sure this Yoruba Bigot,Animalistic and Baboon like creature by name "OPADOTUN KI",is exposed to the World. I want the World to see the Evil and Baboon like of Nigerians.. The World should see the total disdain and Human Right violation of the Leader Of The Indigenous People Of Biafra and Director Of Radio Biafra/Biafra Television Mazi Nnamdi Kanu,by the Nigeria Government at the order of the dullard of Daura by name Mohammadu Buhari. I shall not relent in exposing this evil.. ‪#‎FreeNnamdiKanu‬.. ‪#‎FreeBiafra‬..
THE MURDER OF BIAFRAN CHILD: ARE BIAFRANS CONDEMNED PEOPLE?
I am yet to recover from the shock, the seven years old child killed, was she a protester or was she even a Biafran agitator? I have remained silent; I lost the muse to write on this barbaric act, it was a reflection of what happened in 1967, where over one million of Biafran children were massacred, I counted this murder as one million and one. I contacted Aba to have a chat with the mother of the child, I was told she is in pains and can't talk and I felt her pains.
Looking at this Biafran child lying in the pool of her innocent blood, with her school bag and uniform, I realized that Emeagwali was once like her, Okonjo Iweala and many other great men and women was once like her, but look at a little poor innocent child in her pool of blood. We were all once like her, she is determined to go to school, struggling everyday to be the best pupil, laughing and playing in this her wide world, she knows no evil and neither should evil know her. She was meant to be protected by all, strangers and familiar', enemies and friends, families and wider people of the world, we owe her protection and love because she is a child that knows not the world. The hatred by Buhari and Nigerians to Biafrans run without boundaries, they want us exterminated and this is definition of hatred and that is also why Biafra must be restored, to secure our lives and enjoy freedom and human rights.
The silence over the gruesome murder and tender genocide going on in Biafra land is worrisome, does evil entice and replenish the heart and lives of people? The senators in Nigeria have paid deaf ears; none of them have raised the debate on their floor while UK parliament has already done that and doing their jobs. Why are we positioning Biafra like a condemned entity and Biafrans as prey, must we and our offsprings be forced down to the grave, must we be subjected to unending terror and left to mourn day in and out. Has the world lost her good people, the conscience of man, was it killed by time, what exactly is happening to the world?
Are we no longer human beings? are we no longer protected by human right? are we no longer part of the universal laws guide, are Biafrans threat to human existence? have we committed any crime against the world?. Nigeria and her armed forces must be called to order, the civilized world must help end the barbarism being meted on Biafrans. The killing, incarceration and kidnapping of Biafrans must be addressed through dialogue and referendum. Before the world allow history repeat itself, let solution be proffered for a better world where children can be safe.

UHARI OFFERS 100 MILLION BRIBE TO JAIL NNAMDI KANU TODAY Featured
 29 January 2016
  BUHARI OFFERS 100 MILLION BRIBE TO JAIL NNAMDI KANU TODAY, 29TH OF JANUARY 2016...CAN JUSTICE JOHN TSOHO IGNORE IT?

The magistrate and High courts all in Abuja have earlier freed Nnamdi Kanu of all frivolous charges brought against him by Buhari and his bunch of incompetent and unintelligent buffoons in the DSS. The bail charges were met but Buhari and DSS continued to hold him extra-judicially. Disobeying court orders to release Nnamdi Kanu unconditionally is absolutely a disrespect to the Nigerian judiciary which Buhari did on Dec. 23, 2015. Before the court ruling on Dec. 23, 2015, Buhari had first made a move to bribe the judge to jail Nnamdi Kanu whether or not guilty. Buhari was not favoured, because the sitting judge did not accept bribe or see any evidence of all charges brought by the DSS and Buhari against Nnamdi Kanu .
CROSS SECTION OF NIGERIA BAR
The lawyers and judges in Nigeria have gone through the Nigerian constitution and International law and confirmed that Nnamdi Kanu has no charges against him.  Both the Nigerian law and International law supported the Biafra agitation and activities of its leader Prince Nnamdi Kanu. It is therefore an act of tyranny on the part of Buhari and his bunch of routing bees called DSS to ignore an order of the court of competent jurisdiction.
But Buhari defied all the court orders without showing any remorse. He worsen it during his maiden media chat where he made a statement that he will never allow Nnamdi Kanu to go. Is Buhari the Pharaoh of 21st century? Why will Buhari not allow Nnamdi Kanu to go since no law is holding him? Maybe Buhari has no intention to respect International law and Nigerian judiciary.  Buhari disobeying court orders led to manhandling and regular torture on the innocent leader of Indigenous People of Biafra by the DSS. Buhari believes that Biafra agitation is a treasonable felony, what a world of ignorance? We are pleased that the political commentators, lawyers and freedom activities have called it Empty and Stupidity.
NNAMDI KANU, LEADER IPOB
Biafrans have continued to protest peacefully worldwide since October 2015 against the unlawful detention of Nnamdi Kanu, yet Buhari kept adamant instead of dealing with the wave he continued to kill and detain unarmed Biafra protesters at will.  This is absolutely human right violation.
Nigerian president Mohamadu Buhari did not stop, he raised 100million Naira looking for a fraudulent, criminal, corrupt judge either from the South-South or South east Nigeria to buy in other to jail Nnamdi Kanu. According to our sources Buhari gave the dirty money to Rochas Okorocha, governor of Imo State and Chibuike Amechi, former governor of Rivers state to provide a judge for him. He has not been favoured because of sheer providence on the side of Prince Nnamdi Kanu.
Justice John Tsoho, believes he can give a fair judgement on Nnamdi Kanu's case without any prejudice. Because he can't afford to bring his himself so low to take a bribe knowing very well that the whole world is watching closely on  Kanu's case.  Can Justice John Tsoho take the blood money from Buhari and forget his legal profile? Can justice Tsoho sacrifices his legal profession for a dirty bribe from Buhari?  Is either John Tsoho free Nnamdi Kanu on January 29, 2016 or he takes the bloody and dirty bribe from Buhari and dent his impeccable record.
Biafrans and friends of Biafra understand that the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra Prince Nnamdi Kanu is right fighting for the freedom of Biafrans and innocent of all the criminal allegations against him. We are expecting the Nigerian court to do the needful and give him bail on January 29, 2016. Hon. Justice John Tsoho is poised to do that.

BIAFRA: AN ATTACK ON IJAW IS AN ATTACK ON BIAFRANS Featured
 25 January 2016

The invasion of Delta Rivers, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, Anambara, Abia and all parts of Biafra land by the Nigeria army, navy, DSS EFCC and Police should stop as Biafrans will not take any nonsense from the Nigerian government any more.

PDP Wants Buhari To Send Me To Jail – Tinubu
The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, says there is a deliberate plot by some individuals to rub his name in the mud through fictitious reports in various blogs and the social media so as buhari to jail him.
He said the smear campaign was tagged, ‘Destroy the reputation of Tinubu and his relationship with Buhari’.
Tinubu said this in a statement by his media aide, Mr. Sunday Dare, on Tuesday.
He said most of those behind the act were aggrieved members of the Peoples Democratic Party that had failed to recover from the defeat in the 2015 election.
Tinubu alleged that some of them were being probed for corruption and had decided to push him into the controversy to whip up public sympathy.

He said, “The individuals behind the plot are mostly scared PDP elements made frightened by the Buhari anti-corruption campaign. They direct this falsehood at Tinubu in the futile mission of trying to drive a wedge between the President and Tinubu to disrupt the progress being made against corruption and to destabilise the APC.
“But their PDP is already something by-gone, buried under the mass of its corruption and wrongdoing. They fight for a cause that has no cause. They are mercenaries of all the ills and defects that the people want excised from our body politic. Thus, we must do the people a public service.”

He said, “In the last six weeks, the Tinubu Media Office has monitored the stream of false, distorted media accounts written against Bola Ahmed Tinubu. We have learned that there is a concerted, wilful campaign tagged, ‘Destroy the reputation of Tinubu and his relationship with Buhari.’
“As part of this ugly plot to cultivate the worst of lies against the national leader of the APC, several blogs and online sites recruited to launch this smear campaign have manufactured stories to advance this sinister plan to taint the public mind with gross lies disguised as news reports and interviews.
“Fallacious headlines such as ‘Reasons why I collected N9m-Tinubu’ and ‘I will not return N9m-Tinubu”. “I am afraid PDP will stop Buhari in 2019 – Tinubu,’ are being paraded. Try as hard as they can the creators of these false tales and misleading headlines will fail miserably.
“Their stories cannot stand up to the slightest scrutiny. They are patently false and we condemn in the strongest terms those involved in this anti-Tinubu racket.”

Tinubu said such a smear campaign was nothing but libel and would not be taken likely.
The APC leader said some of them had even gone as far as cloning the letter head of his media office, warning that those behind the campaign would soon be brought to justice.
He added, “While these fellows may think themselves cunning, they might have outwitted their very selves. In writing these stories, they have committed clear libel. In abusing the media office letterhead and name, their misrepresentations amount to forgery.
“They laugh now but walk on thin ice. Soon, that ice will break and they shall have nothing but the weight of their wrongdoing to blame for their predicament that will soon come.
“After identifying the bloggers and paid hatchet writers perpetrating these wrongs, the Tinubu Media Office is taking the step to alert the public to beware and be weary of hatchet writers, false prophets and paid bloggers. The Tinubu Media Office has the names and online sites recruited for this campaign and will not hesitate to make them know if they do not desist from their negative mission.”
"NNAMDI KANU: EX-MILITANTS THREATEN TO BLOW UP HIJACKED VESSEL, EXPATRIATES EVEN BEFORE THE END OF THEIR 31- DAYS ULTIMATUM. . . A group of ex-militants in support of the agitation by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has claimed responsibility for the hijack of a ship on Friday along the Bakassi Pennisula Nigeria coastal line.

The group, which recently gave the Federal Government a 31-day ultimatum to release Nnamdi Kanu, the IPOB leader and Director of Radio Biafra, said the concerned Niger Delta agitators were abreast with the incarceration of Kanu.
Spokesperson of the group, who gave his name as General Ben, threatened that they would blow up the vessel with the expatriates onboard, if the government continues to dilly-dally over Kanu’s release.
Speaking in Port Harcourt yesterday, the group’s spokesperson declared that they would not wait till the end of the ultimatum, before showing their seriousness.
Ben stated: “We cannot wait till the end of the 31 days to tell the Federal Government that we are serious. The vessel and the crew are under custody.
And any noise, any delay from government, we will blow up everything. We will blow the vessel and everybody in the vessel will go down. “We are not interested in the country that owns the vessel. What we know is that the vessel was coming to Nigeria to lift oil. We are not interested;; once it is blown up, let the country and Nigeria resolve the matter.
“We are in touch with everything happening around the IPOB leader.
Now, court has denied him bail, saying because of his dual citizenship, he might jump bail. We also heard that the judge said he would rather give the matter an accelerated hearing.
This is provocative;; hence we did not waste time to go into action. We are in support of the Biafra struggle.
We will not retreat or surrender. “The federal government might have taken our ultimatum as an empty threat. But, we will surprise them,” he stated.
Also, the group reacted to the Supreme Court verdict, which upheld the appeal filed by Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, saying that it saved the state from bloodshed.
Ben said the state would have been overwhelmed by crisis, warning any government against sabotaging the IPOB agitation of the consequences.
Anyone who rejected Biafra is doomed and bound to fail,he was touted to be pep guadiola of zool football but he came on air and said he is not igbo now he has started failing his first official assignment is zero. .... please tell this man your mind for the final time now..........

Now the Biafrans are going to drum it into the ears of the governments of the whole world. To this end, The Directorate of State of the Indigenous People of Biafra have directed all Biafrans all over the world to RECHARGE THEIR PHONES FOR A ONE MILLION PHONE CALL CAMPAIGN COME 1ST OF FEBRUARY 2016.From February 1st 2016, IPOB members world wide, Biafrans at large, and friends of Biafra will be calling the government of the world to let them know what Buhari and his murderous agents are doing to Biafrans. This is to make it known that we have towed the path of peace to achieve our goal which isrestoration of the sovereign state of Biafra. Biafrans should not be held responsible in any act of violence that may erupt in the course of our self defence. THE NUMBERS TO CALL WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE SHORTLY.

We can never never ever accept anything less than#Biafra republic, yes!. Pls tell them we can never never never ever accept anything less than total emancipation and freedom from NigerZoo because "anyi na Ndi Zoo Alakuba enweghi mmeko". Anyone who is saying that our current agitation for "self determination" is for Ibos to be heard (not really republic Biafra) is spewing the joke of the season. Apart from 3million souls we lost during the civilwar, our current struggles have cost us more than 100 souls killed by NigerZoo forces, ordered by certificate-less and inconclusive Buhari Mr president and commanded by brutal Buratai, the Army Chief, and those dead souls 'll never ever forgive us if we eventually compromise. yes!, because we did not tell them we have alternative than total freedom from NigerZoo before they went and gave their lives for the struggles. You see!, they 'll never ever forgive us if we eventually betray them to accept Ibo president or con-federating system. all we want is total independent republic of Biafra, and nothing more, nothing less. Gbam!

SHARE THIS ON: 1983 Coup: How Buhari Conspired with Others & overthrowed shagari's Government
After General Olusegun Obasanjo's military government Handed over Power to Shehu Usman Aliyu Shagari, between (1979, Shagari served as the second President of Nigeria’s Second Republic between 1979 to 1983 Before Muhammadu Buhari, sambo dasuki, david mark and other Nigerian military officers staged The Nigerian military coup of December 31, 1983
At that time,
Major General Muhammadu Buhari* was the General Officer Commanding, 3rd Armored Division, Jos Buhari's Role
Before the Coup was Carried out, Buhari ordered that fuel supplies and food be cut off from Chad, Buhari's order caused a boundary dispute between Nigeria and chad, Shehu Shagari had opposed Buhari's Decision
Against further orders by Shagari government to Buhari to avoid breaching Chadian Borders, Buhari again ordered military men under his command to pursued Chadian intruders about 50 km into Chad. and this Contributed to a successful coup that ousted sagari out of office
however, in December 1983, a military officer in buhari's command, late Major Daniel Bamidele got wind of the coup to oust Shagari from office, Bamidele reported the issue up the chain of command to his GOC 3rd Armored Division (in the person of Major General Buhari)
Unkonwingly to Bamidele, buhari was among the coup plotters.
however,a military personnel who witness the whole scenario at that time, told the team at Eoe Bevy that, To prevent Bamidele from leaking the plot, Buhari ordered arrested and detain Bamidele for 2 weeks. Bamidele wasn't released until the successful execution of the coup.
A Quote from Bamidele reads;
"I heard of the 1983 coup planning, told my GOC General Buhari who detained me for two weeks in Lagos. Instead of a pat on the back, I received a stab. How then do you expect me to report this one? This trial marks the eclipse of my brilliant and unblemished career of 19 years. I fought in the civil war with the ability it pleased God to give me. It is unfortunate that I'm being convicted for something which I have had to stop on two occasions. This is not self adulation but a sincere summary of the qualities inherent in me. It is an irony of fate that the president of the tribunal who in 1964 felt that I was good enough to take training in the UK is now saddled with the duty of showing me the exit from the force and the world
The Full list of those who planned the coup are Participants
 THE SO CALLED NIGER DELTA.
Niger Delta militants are fighting for themselves. From when #NnamdiKanu was arrested till date they didn't bomb pipeline because of him, it was when Buhari govt wanted to arrest #Tompolo that they're now shouting that they are south-Biafra-militants. Nnamdi Kanu told Tompolo 6 months ago that Buhari would come for him and that billions he made from pipeline security will be taken away from him, now it's happening. U guys should stop ur stupid cowardly lifestyle and be men for once; come and declare totally for #Biafra or #Death. If not, shut ur mouth and stop mentioning Biafra in hypocrisy! Stop mentioning Biafra with one mouth and Nigeria with the other mouth. Stop mentioning Biafra while u're fighting for Amnesty bread-money. #RUBBISH.
AGAIN WE THANK THOSE THEM THAT STOOD UP FOR BIAFRAN FREEDOM WE ARE ALL ONE GOD BLESS
