Black man in America, you are racially profiled, the last hired and the first fired. You are discriminated against on every level. You have the highest unemployment rate and the highest rate of incarceration. You are the last one to receive justice in the judicial system. You are even, typically, the first one to get killed in the movies! Racism underlies your entire life, from cradle to grave. Now how can you tell me, honestly, when it comes to picking a mate, that you don’t believe in race, you don’t see color and you can’t help who you fall in love with and then call me a racist for pointing it out to you? Let’s be real here.

And this one from the tomb of Ramses VI in the Valley of the Kings. This one is just beautiful. I love being inside these tombs maybe even more than being in the museums. And I always enter the tombs of our Ancestors with respect and reverence.

In this picture we have King Ramses VI facing Ma'at--the moral law of the universe. First time I have shown this photo.

In January 2021, God willing, I will take another group to Egypt. It will be trip number 26 for me. And we will follow with my third group tour to Sudan.

Stay tuned for the details!

THE GLOBAL AFRICAN COMMUNITY

GEORGE WELLS PARKER
RACE MAN AND PIONEER TO THE PAST
DEDICATED TO WILLIAM PAUL COATES
By RUNOKO RASHIDI
"Teach a child or nation that it springs from an inferior race and that is can never hope to overcome that inferiority, and you have made an obedient servant and a community of slaves." --George Wells Parker

In the words of George Wells Parker (1882-1931): "No race can lay claim to such glory as can the African race, and when the truth is known, as it must be known some day, all other races will bow to it, not because they wish, but because truth is a tyrant that admits of no falsity."

An historian and activist, George Wells Parker was born September 18, 1882, the son of Abraham W. Parker of Petersburg, Virginia and Augusta Bing of Charleston, South Carolina."  After moving to Nebraska he attended Creighton University in Omaha, until his junior year, 1909-10. Later in life Parker became an enthusiastic supporter of Marcus Garvey, and performed a dynamic function in aiding Black people relocating to Omaha in 1916 and 1917.

In 1917 Parked helped found the Hamitic League of the World.  The term "Hamitic" was a popular and progressive expression used at the time to denote African people.  It was a term particularly applied to the great ancient African builders of grand civilizations. The declared aims of the Hamitic League of the World were:

"To inspire the Negro with new hopes; to make him openly proud of his race and of its great contributions to the religious development and civilization of mankind and to place in the hands of every race man and woman and child the facts which support the League's claim that the Negro Race is the greatest race the world has ever known."

In 1918 the Hamitic League of the World published a twenty-nine page pamphlet by Parker entitled The Children of the Sun which contained an enlightening section highlighting the African presence in classical African, Asian and European civilizations.

Are we reacting “against” something or are we continually working to collectively unify “FOR” something? See the colorful graphic herein with cultural wisdom from our esteemed Ancestor.

CULTURE is the key challenge to restore, embody, maintain, circulate, institutionalize, practice and manifest in commUNITY. Rise, focus, and then act to embrace, promote, elevate, continue, maintain, build on, expand, and contribute to the absolute very best of our African heritage, culture, consciousness, traditions, values, people, achievements, and aspirations. Discard generational contrived mental enslavement to rescue, recover, and restore widespread cultural names, attire, decor, celebrations, events, functions, organizations, festivals, programs, actions, deeds, values, ceremonies, youth activities, etc. We are all that we we have, and UNIFIED together in purpose, direction, and focus, we are all that we need.

If we don't make an effort to collectively continue, expand, maintain, circulate, teach, manifest, and embody our own cultural ancestral legacy, then who else will do it on our behalf in our best interest? We are our esteemed Ancestors and our Honored Ancestors are us. And if we don't urgently start now, then when should we begin to Wise Up, Rise Up, and “DO FOR SELF” as a vibrant, necessary, urgent, prioritized, transformative, wholesome, interdependent, nurturing, harmonious, cohesive, supportive, empathetic, energizing, dignified, self-empowering, self-sufficient, self-reliant, and productive way of life?
We are our own Cultural Liberators, Ambassadors, and Advocates!
Persistently work “FOR” Pan-African Unity as our collective Aim and Victory as our Destiny!
Each One Teach One <==> Starting NOW!

We are our own Cultural Liberators, Ambassadors, and Advocates!
