APPRECIATING MAZI NNAMDI KANU
– THE INDOMITABLE BLACK-AFRICAN FREEDOM
FIGHTER
AFTER MARTIN LUTHER KING JR AND
NELSON MANDELA
(By Nathaniel I. Ndiokwere)
PREAMBLE: WHO IS THE RIGHTEOUS
ONE?
Who is a saint? Who is without
sin; let him throw the first stone! Most Religious people, including the Popes
and canonized saints, great Educationists, Professors, Inventors, Politicians
and World leaders - living or alive have never been known to be free of sin.
Some are even known to have served
prison sentences for various ‘crimes’ before they became world figures! Few
Nigerian political and religious leaders, past and present, are known to be
‘saints’.
Just a few, if any at all, who
must have made notable contributions towards the welfare of their people still
enjoy a comfortable place in history books! Can we award marks on ‘merit’ to
the prominent few we still remember their names in the field of politics in
Nigeria?
Nnamdi Azikiwe – Zik of Africa,
Obafemi Awolowo, Ahmadu Bello, Saduana of Sokoto, Tafawa Balewa, Shehu Shagari,
Goodluck Jonathan, Obasanjo (civilian) and Muhammadu Buhari (civilian)? Surely
ALL OF THEM have/had big DENTS on their character, and surely just few
Nigerians speak well of them.
They have all big dents! I am
sure if human beings can shun prejudices, and speak the truth, not one of the
former and present Nigerian leaders may score up to 20% mark.
On the State level – Eastern states,
as an example: Michael Okpara, Akanu Ibiam, Ukpabi Asika? Jim Nwobodo, Orjiuzor
Kalu, Theodore Orji, Samuel Onunaka Mbakwe? Ikedi Ohakim, Rochas Anayo
Okorocha, Emeka Ihedioha, Hope Uzodimma - All have big terrible Dents. Perhaps
only SAMUEL MBAKWE may score above 40%! History supplies verifiable facts and
figures.
MAZI NNAMDI KANU – THE FORMER
ALLEGED ‘CROOK’
You may like MNK, hate him,
agree with him, disagree; it is becoming clearer that History may at last
identify the guy as an indomitable Black-African patriot and freedom fighter
after Martin Luther King Jr and Nelson Mandela, among former ‘rebels’ who
played a great role in the struggle for the liberation of their people from
slavery and bondage.
Those who hate Kanu, including
his fellow Igbos, write all sorts of trash to discredit IPOB movement and their
leader. Look at the type of stuff they write and circulate: “Nnamdi Kanu was
once a scammer, 419-er, a fake”….! No problem. The big question: “What do these
enemies of progress hope to achieve by this campaign of calumny?
‘Allegations’, True or False;
that WAS in the past; ‘HE WAS…’, ‘MNK used to be….’ But today he is
“Born-Again”, intelligent, sensible, and full of wisdom, and speaks the truth.
He is alive today working for the freedom of his people. Why join your enemies
to block your freedom and that of generations to come?
GOOD LEADERS MAKE SACRIFICES
Surely MNK has the largest
followers among all Igbo leaders today, and these are not ‘idle useless mob’.
However MNK may not be ‘Superhuman’ and without dent; but his case is surely
that of a lone voice in the wilderness! What do you expect from his people! The
Bible confirms that a prophet is not acknowledged in his own village, among his
own people.
What will MNK lose more in
Nigeria, when the Cabal, aided by Igbo traitors tried to get rid of the young
man in a Historical “Python Dance?” They massacred so many youths and as well
brought about the untimely death of his parents.
He escaped death because of the
presence of some Biafran soldiers in Nigerian military. If I were MNK I will
not give up this struggle, come what may. I will face death and join my dead
parents where they are! But let posterity take records.
MNK AND THE ZOO REPUBLIC
Many ‘educated’ Nigerians do
not like MNK primarily because of his ‘language’. But how can you blame the
young man, when in a “Democratic country”:
(1) The IDENTITY of the
President has been under contention for over 3 years now? But I do not admire
how the ‘investigation’ of this ‘mystery’, ‘allegation’ is going on! It should
NOT be Nnamdi Kanu or any private journalist, foreign or local, who should tell
the world the ‘Truth’ of the Matter.
It is part of Nigerian History
today that ABBA KYARI is dead and buried. Period! Documented, publicly and
officially confirmed by “competent” government authorities. The historical
records are in the archives.
(2) The ‘allegation’ that
Buhari is dead and buried in Saudi Arabia since 2017 sounds FUNNY! What should
be the “very important reason/s” for Buhari family to hide the death of their
father? In a matter of life and death event, is it a Political Party or Government
in power that makes public the death of a family member?
Is the reason for the Cabal to
remain in power till the end of the world enough to frame a ‘conspiracy theory’
surrounding the identity of a Head of State, and to choose or CLONE a non- Nigerian
from Sudan, and name him (Dead) Buhari? Does the Cabal need such irresponsible,
stupid, ‘rigorous procedure or tactics’ to retain power? With whom, which
Political Party in Nigeria are the Conquering Fulanis competing for political
supremacy!
Igbos, Yorubas, Ibibios,
Itskekiris, Tivi, or the Ikwere Political Parties? Is APC or PDP not the same
Northern Nigerian Political Party? Ridiculous! The Fulani Cabal and World
Fulani Congress, together with the British own and control Nigeria, right from
the Amalgamation. Who else, what power outside the North can wrestle political
power from them? Can’t they retain power as long as they wish?
(3) This writer will not accept
the ‘FAIRY-TALE’ that the present Nigerian president is not MUHAMMADU BUHARI,
the military dictator who once seized power in military coup in 1984. I will
not blame any Nigerian who dismisses these Buhari/Jubril controversies as
‘TORTOISE MYTH’.
(4) WHY! It is not because what
the aggrieved and disillusioned Nigerians, including MNK are saying, is
completely false. No! Their stories may be correct; even 100% correct and
verifiable.
(5) BUT, BEHOLD! STOP A MINUTE!
Nigerians and the world at large will only like to hear from the HORSE’S MOUTH!
No speculations! No guesswork! As it stands today, the only person who can
settle the Buhari/Jubril Saga is the PMB family. The one single voice is that
of his wife AISHER BUHAR! No need to hear from Femi Adesina, Adamu Adamu, El
Rufai, Tinibu, Obsanjo, Queen of England, Ohaneze Ndigbo or Emir of Sokoto. That
is uncalled for.
(6) “PAPER EVIDENCES” AND
“PROOFS”: Nigerians don’t need evidence of ‘Death Certificate’ or similar
ridiculous propositions. The president, if dead, should be given a befitting
burial! Another Cabal, takes his place! No contest! If at last the story
becomes “UNFOUNDED”, then all rumor mongers must be tried and prosecuted!
(7) If Buhari is dead a long
time ago; how long will the Cabal keep it ‘secret’ and why? What will they gain
by playing the game of hide and seek? How long will the ‘Cover Up’ last? Are
the organizers of this “Fraud” BRAINLESS?
Like ‘Coronavirus Pandemic’, no
one can predict the end of the ‘game’ any more. The word is ‘Indefinite!’ Does
it worth all the pains?
MNK AND THE RESTORATION OF
BIAFRA
As for the political future of
the contraption called Nigeria, MNK is the only one talking sense. How can two
separate systems of government – SHARIA and DEMOCRACY co-exist and function at
the same time in “ONE NIGERIA?” RIDICULOUS, A MOCK, AN OBJECT OF PERPETUAL
DERISION!
There are no more options for
‘settlement!’ No force can stop the end of unworkable experiment and an
illusion. The future generation of young Nigerians will hold the present elders
responsible for the calamity befalling Nigeria.
The Old pre-war regional setups
should go separate ways and in an atmosphere devoid of rancor and hate, the
emerging leaders should get together and discuss their ‘native problems’ (if
any), in REGIONAL CONSTITUTIONAL CONFERENCES. Thinking about war and use of
force in order to achieve peace, progress and stability is not only
unnecessary; it is equally foolish, an unmitigated disaster!
CONCLUSION
Nnamdi Kanu remains the only
credible leader, freedom fighter in Biafraland. His name is already in history
books. Therefore trying to destroy him or his movement for the liberation of
the oppressed people will not achieve anything; rather it will hasten the
process for the emancipation of the “Primitive Tribes of the Lower Niger”
(Achebe).

time. Say your mind and as well share if it makes sense to you)
