EVENTS
BEHIND
THE PLOT TO TAG
IPOB A TERRORIST
GROUP EXPOSED!!
Investigation
has revealed the reason behind the show of shame by the Terrorist Nigerian DSS
to tag a
peaceful IPOB a terrorist group. It has also revealed the names of
Buhari’s puppets who are being used
to mastermind this shameful plot.
Our
reliable source from Aso Rock has revealed that as Nnamdi Kanu’s Appeal Court
case which is coming up on 25th of April draws closer, Buhari and his cohorts
are panicking as it is very much certain that Nnamdi Kanu is going to be
granted bail as the Nigerian government has no tangible evidence to counter
Kanu’s bail and open trial appeal. As a result of this, Buhari and his allies
are now desperate to influence the three trial judges psychologically or by any
other workable means possible. This is why they concluded that by accusing IPOB
of terrorism activities across the country through their rag-tag DSS, it could
help them to persuade the three trial judges to find any available legal clause
in order to sanction the continued incarceration of Prince Nnamdi Kanu.
To
achieve perfect implementation of this evil plot, the Nigerian government has
employed the services of Samson Babalola a Kogi born conquered slave of
Hausa/Fulani who is to act the script of raising an outcry through his
fraudulent group powered by his already paid media henchmen of Yoruba and Hausa
extraction. They are expected to organise a protest march against IPOB and also
threaten to drag IPOB to International Criminal Court in Hague. It is
noteworthy that Babalola have launched into action already as Vanguard has
reported their threat to drag IPOB to ICC a day after the planned Press Release
of Nigerian DSS.
In
conjunction with Babalola and his group are some top South-East and South-South
politicians which according to our source are topped by the names of Hausa
fathered Rochas Okorocha and Buhari’s puppet of Rivers State- Rotimi Chibuike
Amaechi who was hand-picked by Buhari as a result of his perfectly executed
task of unleashing mayhem on the Biafran people of Rivers State during
the inconclusive re-run election in Rivers State.
At
their meeting in Aso Rock with Buhari’s DSS, Rochas Okorocha was asked to
notify the Governor of Abia State- Okezie Ikpeazu of their plot which entails
the use of the mass grave where Nigerian DSS, army and police dumped some of
the Biafrans they massacred as venue where they’ll stage the alleged killing of
Fulani herdsmen. Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi on the other hand was tasked to
provide some paid thugs who will testify to the DSS claiming to be IPOB members
who were sent to kill the herdsmen.
A
further investigation revealed that the bounce of the whole kangaroo plot
became burst when Rochas Okorocha couldn’t meet up on time with Okezie Ikpeazu
Governor of Abia before the DSS headquarters in Abuja in their excitement
rushed to their media henchmen to spill the garbage. It was after Governor
Okezie Ikpeazu and Abia State chapter of DSS denied that such a thing as
killing of herdsmen happened in Abia State that they were informed of the game
being played by which time its already too late.
Our reliable source has disclosed that the DSS who has already put
themselves in a burning furnace in Nigeria and the international community as a
result of this their latest goof from their unscrupulous allegation on IPOB are
now desperate to save themselves of the impending show of shame and will be
making use of their Amaechi provided thugs as the IPOB members who carried out
the alleged attack on fulani herdsmen having been given ultimatum by IPOB to
prove to the world how they came about the conclusion that it was the
Indigenous People Of Biafra that carried out the attack on the herdsmen.
Meanwhile our reliable source has also disclosed that
Samson Babalola who is desperate to please his pay masters has already started
organising a protest against IPOB in Abuja. This protest is going to be covered
by government owned media houses and some paid private Hausa and Yoruba
journalists’ in order to put IPOB in a bad light across the world.
Having uncovered this dastardly plot of the Nigerian government
against IPOB and her amiable leader Nnamdi Kanu, Family Writers wish to use
this opportunity to alert the entire world to take notice and hold Nigerian
DSS,Buhari,APC and Mr. Samson Babalola responsible for any reprisal
killing of Biafrans in the Northern part of Nigeria as a result of their acts
of desperation to jail an innocent Nnamdi Kanu. Family Writers stands for
truth, justice and freedom, we shall continue to expose the atrocities of the
zoo called Nigeria to the entire world. No tyrannical or dictatorial tendencies
of Buhari and his sponsored terrorists the DSS shall deter us.
Nigeria's Tribalized,
Sectionalized,
Personalized
Security Agencies
It is frightening to
see the level of tribalization and sectionalization of Nigeria’s security
departments. The recent report of alleged IPOB affiliated persons being
responsible for the deaths of five Hausa-Fulani Nigerians in Abia state was a
final straw.
Nigeria’s Department
of State Security, DSS added that report to one on the capture of one of the
most deadly terrorists in the world, the leader of Ansaru faction of Boko
Haram, Khalid al-Barnawi. While all acts of terror can be lumped together, the
disparity in the reactions of the security departments to acts of terror by
different ethnic and religious groups, of note, the so-called 95 and 5%s is
catastrophically dangerous for Nigeria.
NOTE:
1. The DSS has never
released a single statement (to my knowledge) on systematic and synchronized
Fulani “herder” massacres across Nigeria. (Qualified as Boko Haram by the
Nigerian senate).
2. The DSS has never
released a statement describing how it is investigating suspected Fulani
murders (assuming they are not the perpetrators), but in its statement against
IPOB, the DSS described how it made immediate arrests and interrogations to
unearth the suspects.
3. The DSS has not
released a single statement in regard to the Agatu genocide of hundreds of
“enemies” of Fulani herders, that has caused mass displacement and untold
suffering with properties burned in several communities and hundreds killed.
4. The Attorney
General, Mr Malami of the federation has defended murderous Boko Haram
terrorists; the likes of Khalid al-Barnawi from death, their due sentence as
prescribed by the law. This while State security departments murder protesting
and praying youth with no blood and lives on their hands in Aba and Zaria.
5. While in the IPOB
case, a prompt investigation was launched according to Tony of the DSS, in the
Agatu massacre case, the police were sent to mediate between the killers and
their victims and murderers who openly defended their acts of carnage were left
to go home with no single arrest till today. In news reports, suspected
above-the-law Fulani have since killed an APC youth leader in Benue and just
killed University staff and others in Delta, while the DSS focuses only on
IPOB.
6. Not a single Fulani
suspect has been arrested by the DSS, at least according to their Press
statements or lack of them in the regard. In the past when Hussaini Monguno was
arrested, we mentioned this fact: on how State agencies are quick to
investigate and arrest those they personally hate or feel personally attacked
by; but the same agencies fail to arrest terrorists, especially Boko Haram and
Fulani brand and when they do, they promise them repatriation into society,
amnesty and safety from death sentences.
7. There is no similar
report of a DSS investigation into the Zaria massacre, even if to arrest more
Shia Muslims. The Police and DSS should by now have been involved in such
investigations into the incidents of the massacre including the allegations of
mass murder, mass burials, the reported mass graves found, demolitions and
other potential legal infractions and crimes. These are state security tasks of
the professional police and DSS and not civilian conference-room panels.
However the DSS has its apparent personal priorities.
8. The state security
agencies while harsh on other groups are appearing frighteningly compassionate
to Boko Haram and Fulani Fulani terrorists. The promised repatriation camps for
terrorists including those who have killed and raped our women is a violation
of the laws of the land and God. This seems to serve foreign fanatic Takfiri
sponsor governments’ interests. Nigeria’s laws clearly state that terrorists
who have killed must be killed. We see Reverends being sentenced to death;
robbers being so-sentenced; but Boko Haram and Fulani herder rampaging murderers
being spared.
9. In remarkable
contrast, the Buhari government addresses Fulani herder open violence and frank
terror with a promise to create ranches and “address their agitations.” While
in contrast, non-violent IPOB Igbo protests are not addressed based on their
agitations and concerns, but this section of Nigerian society is rather further
undermined, castigated, implicated, killed in protest and prayer and associated
with Khalid al-Barnawi.
10. There is ample
evidence that the Security department is once again being used as an
intimidation instrument of the ruling political party; as it was in prior
administrations. There is video evidence of an alleged APC politician/candidate
harassing an INEC officer in Rivers to refund bribe money paid him, while State
military and police look on. This video gives merit to many other tales of
security officers being dispatched by the security chiefs to protect ruling
party interests and not those of the people.
We would like to
urgently call on the repositioning of the Nigerian police, DSS and army to be
detribalized, desectionalized and nonreligious instruments. These agencies must
remember that they are employed and paid by all Nigerians and there to protect
all Nigerians and their interests equally.
We understand that
this fresh administration has exuberant, excited agents eager to “impress” the
President in whatever ways they deem valuable, however they must realize that
they do harm to themselves, the president and Nigeria, planting seeds of
tomorrow’s terror and chaos with their disproportionate brutality and lack of
equity and justice.
If there is no
justice, there can never be peace; and if there is no peace, there can never be
progress and development.

@EveryNigerian
Biafran women showing great love to the beloved Mother of Nnamdi Kanu-the Director of Radio Biafra and the Commander in Chief of the Armies of Biafra.
BIAFRA: NNAMDI KANU AND THE AGONY OF MOTHERING SUNDAY
IPOB leader's mother surrounded
by Biafrans
Take a pause and think what today is; take a step further with your thought and reflect on motherhood. Have you watched those films that a mother is pictured in labour room? The wailing and the tears, the pain and the groan. Despite being like under the rain of falling bombs; she stays alive and keeps pushing in tears. Any prevarication will end your life and hers; most women abort their babies over fear of passing through horror in labour room.
But one called a mother is one
that bravely dared death to give you life; even after giving you life, she
stayed and nursed you. She would always run up and down in search of one
medicine or another; in most cases her wrapper fell off and she keeps running
like a crazy woman. Her scarf goes off and she keeps running like a crazy
woman. No wonder when a son brings a woman home for marriage; a mother gets
jealous and tries to still hold on to her child. She is aware of everything she
passed through and the love became stronger while the bond gets a-breasted. A
mother tends to love her first child more but pampers her last one; the reason
is clear; like she won't forget the day or man that deflowered her; she cannot
stop loving or remembering her first experience of motherhood. That now narrows
down to Nnamdi Kanu; as a first son; what will be the feeling of his mother and
his feeling in that prison.
Let me digress a bit; today being
mothering Sunday; I woke up and went to my mother; handed a big live chicken to
her; wishing her a good mothering Sunday and she told me " Today is
mothering Sunday and mothers wishes are always effective today" she prayed
and blessed me but the bone of contention here is the feeling that went down my
spine. I felt this love and great affection; then upon standing on my feet; I
remembered Nnamdi Kanu's mother- her crown Prince is in detention for months
now; this however prompted me to do this essay.
The mother of Nnamdi Kanu is
suffering; she is under the pain of missing her son. Her husband is very sick
and her son is illegally detained and persecuted for nothing. How would she
hold her falling heart? Where would she anchor her deteriorating emotion? There
is need for Princess and others to go home and lift her. Though none can take
the place of her gallant son but someone can give her hope and cheer her today.
Even what was thought would only be Nnamdi Kanu is migrating to something else.
If Nnamdi is going to sacrifice his family and everything he has for Biafra
then I make bold to ask what Kind of saviour is Nnamdi Kanu?. Nnamdi Kanu is
the last person that need Biafra in this life; why should he need Biafra while
he has everything; why should he need Biafra while he lives a classy life in
London. I can't find any reason why Kanu should need Biafra if not simply to
save me and that other school dropout as a result of subjugation and political
marginalization. It is time to start seeing Nnamdi Kanu and Biafra as the work
of fate; everything that ought to have broken Kanu has happened but he remains
stronger than everyone.
On the other hand; today will
pass-by without seeing his unique mother and wish her good mothering Sunday.
This is another reason for us to come together and choose death with him;
Nnamdi Kanu has sacrificed everything and his life is the least. The ultimate
is the indirect sacrifice of everything close to him indeed is Biafra or death
and someday I shall make a stick and worship Nnamdi Kanu as my saviour. May I
die a sinner than deviate from his teaching. I am so obsessed that I say Biafra
is now or never. Let our peaceful protest commence or let another civil war
erupt for we are growing tired of our leader's persecution.

Prove to the
world how we killed Fulani herdsmen in Abia, IPOB tells DSS
APRIL 12, 2016, 11:48 AM By Chimaobi Nwaiwu.
THE MURDER OF THE FULANI: YUGOSLAVIA UNFOLDING
The Department of State Security (DSS) have
claimed that five Fulani herdsmen were abducted, killed and buried in a mass
grave by members of IPOB in Abia state a few days ago. They have also claimed
that there were up to fifty more bodies in that mass grave and that they are
all Fulani.
The implications of this announcement is
obvious. It will create more tension and fear in the land and it will lead to
reprisal killings in the north. Violence is never the way out and I have always
believed that it has no place in any civilized society. Yet what I find curious
about this announcement is the fact that it is unique and historic.
I say this because thousands of Igbos, Yorubas,
Niger-Deltans and Middle Belters have been killed by Fulani militants and
herdsmen over the last ten months since President Buhari came to power yet the
DSS has never announced it and told the country about the details and ethnic
identities of the victims.
When one thousand Shiite Muslims were
slaughtered in Zaria and buried in mass graves the DSS did not speak. When five
hundred Idomas were massacred in Agatu by Fulani militants the DSS did not
speak.
When hundreds of southern and Middle Belt farms
were raided by AK-47-wielding Fulani herdsmen who murdered, raped, burnt down
and took over the land of their victims the DSS never gave us details of the
victims or made any announcements.
When our leaders in the south were kidnapped
and when men witnessed their wives and children being raped and butchered by
the Fulani militias before their very eyes the DSS made no announcements.
When the International Terror Index told the
world that the Fulani militias in Nigeria are the "fourth most deadly
terror organization in the world" the DSS said nothing and neither did
they give us details about their activities or their victims.
Worse of all is the fact that our government
and our President, who himself happens to be a Fulani, has never deemed it fit
or necessary to condemn the activities of the Fulani herdsmen and militants and
neither have they expressed any sympathy or displayed any empathy for their
many victims.
Let me be clear: the murder of anyone,
regardless of their ethnicity or faith, is unacceptable to me. I deplore murder
and violence and in my view the killing of one innocent soul diminishes the
humanity of every single one of us as a community and nation.
However it seems curious that the minute that
Fulanis are killed in the east the DSS is quick to rise to the occasion and
express concern about it whilst they do not express the same concern when
Nigerians from other ethnic nationalities are killed by the Fulani in their own
homes and land.
Therein lies the double standard and it is sad
and unfortunate. Furthermore not only is it very dangerous but it also confirms
the view that our government and security agencies are not only partial but
that they are also attempting to implement an ethnic and religious agenda.
Three questions must be answered: firstly who
is funding the Fulani herdsmen and where do they get their weapons from?
Secondly why does our government not only turn a blind eye to the mass murder
and genocide that they regularly indulge in but also go out of their way to
protect them?
And thirdly why do the government and security
agencies have so much hatred and contempt for those that the Fulani regularly
target and their victims and why do they believe that those victims do not
deserve to enjoy the full protection of the Nigerian Federal Government?
Could it be because they are regarded as slaves
and second class citizens? Is Fulani blood and are Fulani lives more important
than others? Indeed do non-Fulani lives matter in President Buhari's Nigeria?
Are we compelled to begin a ‘’non-Fulani lives
matter’’ movement which is based and fashioned on the ‘’Black Lives Matter’’
movement in the United States of America before we can draw the attention of
the world to what is going on in our country?
Is it not obvious and logical that when the security
agencies refuse to protect the citizens from the murderous hordes and herdsmen
from hell those citizens will eventually seek to protect themselves and go on
the offensive? That is human nature and it is to be expected.
Is it not clear to those in power that when a
people are convinced that their government is no longer impartial in any
conflict and that the security agencies of that government have been directed
to go out of their way to actively and openly support those that constantly and
regularly slaughter their people it will eventually lead to open war?
Is it so difficult to accept the fact that no
government and no force from hell or on earth can compel or intimidate a man
into lying down passively and silently watch his family, loved ones and kinsmen
being butchered and slaughtered morning, day and night without trying to
protect them and without indulging in some form of retaliation?
With the sort of things that are going on in
our country today it is time to tell ourselves some home-truths. No-one wishes
to accept it let alone say it but sadly war will come to Nigeria again within
the next few years. I do not want war and I consider it to be the ultimate evil
but I am constrained to speak the truth and say things as I see them.
The fact that a war is coming is a testimony to
the fact that we have all failed to manage the peace that God has given us
since 1970 and the cessation of hostilities after our brutal civil war. We have
failed so badly that the remote and immediate causes of that civil war are back
with us today even though we hate to admit or acknowledge it.
Our country is like Yugoslavia unfolding before
it exploded and violently broke into five separate countries. All the signs are
there. Anyone that knows about the history of Yugoslavia or that is a student
of world history will agree with me and appreciate what I am saying.
Consider the dangerous mix. A crumbling
economy. An inept, weak, failing and paranoid government. A hungry, angry and
increasingly desperate civilian population. An ignorant, obsessive, arrogant,
insensitive, corrupt and self-absorbed political class who are out of touch
with reality.
The ruthless implementation of an ethnic and
religious agenda by a reckless and irresponsible government that refuses to
consider the implications of taking such a course of action and that have an
early-1960’s mind-set. The growing unrest, ethnic killings and sectarian
murders.
An ethnic and religious division within the
Armed Forces and security agencies. A relentless clamp-down on and persecution
of the opposition and all dissenting voices by the government and the use of
fear as a tool of governance and control. The entering into a secret and covert
treaty and military alliance with a group of Arab Sunni Muslim countries that
seek to Islamise our country, that have, over the years, funded the most brutal
and barbaric jihadist and radical Islamist terrorist organisations all over the
world and that seek to impugn our national integrity and violate the secularity
of our state.
The constant and open abuse of power. The
impunity and insensitivity of the Buhari administration to the plight of the
masses. The hunger, hardship, poverty and suffering in the land. The failure of
the government to get rid of the fuel queues and supply electrical power.
The demonisation of peaceful and law-abiding
self-determination groups and the unlawful incarceration of their leaders. The
breach of the constitutional rights of the citizens and the ignoring of court
orders and judicial processes by the government.
The attempt to intimidate and control the
Judiciary and Legislature by the government and so much more. The list goes on
and on and history proves that such a mixture of circumstances is dangerous and
can only lead to open conflict if not halted.
The country is badly divided today and the
people are suffering as never before. The division and hatred amongst some of
our ethnic groups has reached pre-civil war levels.
We in the south must prepare for the worse and
not be found wanting when the trouble starts. That is my greatest fear. We must
not end up like the Bosnians did during the Yugoslavian civil war.
They were the only ethnic group in Yugoslavia
that was not prepared for it when the war started. They had no arms, no plan,
no allies and no fall back position.
When the fighting started they were caught
unawares and for two years they suffered immeasurably for their stupidity and
naivety whilst their people were killed like flies and their women and children
were raped and enslaved. God forbid this should happen to our people.
The reason that they suffered for two years was
because there was an international arms embargo placed on all the ethnic groups
and warring militias and armies in Yugoslavia when the war started. And sadly
the Bosnians were the only ones that did not buy and stockpile arms in
preparation for war months and years before it actually broke out.
Plagued by a cowardly and weak-minded ruling
elite and a naive, self-serving, servile, ignorant and
intellectually-challenged middle class the Bosnians just kept talking, writing
newspaper articles, appeasing the aggressors and their tormentors, praying and
hoping for peace whilst all the other ethnic and religious groups and warring
parties were quietly preparing for war. Sounds familiar?
They suffered immensely for their lack of
understanding, insight and foresight and their civilian population paid a heavy
price. For two years after the civil war started the Bosnians could not even
buy a gun or bullet to defend themselves. Their towns were besieged and blown
up whilst their women and children were raped, enslaved and butchered.
Their men were rounded up into Second World
War-like Nazi concentration camps and starved and tortured to death and their
dignity and self-respect was taken from them. They were turned into an
internally-displaced people and their land was transformed into a sea of
desperate and suffering refugees.
It was a nightmare from hell and suffering on
this scale had not been seen on European soil since the First and Second World
Wars. It was after the international community silently watched them being
slaughtered by their Serbian and Croatian compatriots for two long years that
they were compelled, as a consequence of pressure from the people of the world
and on moral and humanitarian grounds, to lift the arms embargo on them so that
they could buy arms to defend themselves.
The war dragged on for more years after that
but at least the Bosnians, though two years late, were now able to fight back
and defend themselves. It took the intervention of NATO, the bombing of
Belgrade by the international community led by the Americans and the eventual
break-up of the entire country into five pieces to stop the carnage and
barbarity of the Serbs and eventually bring the civil war to an end.
It was during that war that the term
"ethnic cleansing" was first used by CNN to describe what was being
done by the Serbs to the Bosnians, the Croats, the Kosovars and the Monte
Negrans, all of whom represented the other four ethnic groups. Eventually the
country broke up and each of them got their independence from the dominant
Serbs and one another.
If such a thing could have happened in the
heart of Europe in the early 1990's why on earth would any reasonably
intelligent person dismiss the notion that it can happen here? The only
difference would be that if such a thing were to ever unfold in our country it
would be far worse than what happened in Yugoslavia due to the sheer size of
our population.
The signs are already there and it is left for
us to recognize them and prepare ourselves for the worse or to ignore them and,
like the Bosnians, eventually pay a very heavy price. I pray that I am wrong
but as far as I am concerned, for Nigeria, the bell is tolling. May the Lord
deliver us.
DSS VS IPOB!!! ROCHASOKOROCHA AND IKPEAZUSUPPORTS BIAFRA – CALLS FOR EMERGENCYMEETING
Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State
and his Imo State counterpart, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, on Monday refut¬ed
claims by the Department of State Security (DSS) that mem¬bers of the
Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) abducted and killed five Fulani herdsmen in
Isiukwuato area of Abia State. The governors spoke after an emergency security
meet¬ing they convened at the Government House, Umuahia on the controversial
killing of the herdsmen.<<<<
The meeting
was attend¬ed by members of the Securi¬ty Councils of the two states. They
included the Commander of 14 Brigade, Ohafia, Brig.-Gen. Lawrence Fejoku;
As¬sistant Inspector-General of Police for Zone 9, Mr. Yeri¬ma Fyarah; Commissioners
of Police from both states and heads of other security outfits.
Others were
the Deputy Governor of Abia State, Hon. Ude Oko Chukwu; the Chair¬man of South
East Council of Traditional Rulers, Eze Ebere¬chi Dick; the Chairmen of the
Council of Traditional Rulers in both states and other top government
officials.
Apparently
relying on the briefing by the security chiefs, the governors told journalists
after the meeting which last¬ed two hours, that kidnappers were responsible for
the deaths of the herdsmen.
Governor
Ikpeazu said that the meeting was convened to map out strategies to address
issues of common interest, es¬pecially on security matters.
He said
kidnapping and violent crimes had assumed a worrisome dimension in both states,
hence the need for col¬laboration between the states to check the menace.
Ikpeazu
condemned the spate of kidnapping in both states, especially the alleged
abduction and murder of five herdsmen whose bodies were discovered in shallow
graves, according to security agents.
He blamed
the incident on the activities of kidnappers who have been terrorising
residents of both states, add¬ing that the security agents had been directed to
flush out criminal elements who use the forest as a breeding ground.
“Time has
gone when criminal elements will launch attacks in Imo and go and hide in Abia
or commit crimes in Abia and go to hide in Imo” he said.
Ikpeazu also
said that the joint security meeting between both states would be sustained to
ensure the security of life and property of residents of both states.
In his
comment, Gover¬nor Okorocha said the meet¬ing was to brainstorm on ways to
tackle security challenges in both states, particularly kid¬napping.
Okorocha
explained that the abduction and killing of the herdsmen had no ethnic
undertone but perpetrated by kidnappers who operate in the said evil forest.
“It was a
kidnapping action and had nothing to do with eth¬nicity,” he said, adding that
tra-ditional rulers in the states had been directed to volunteer in¬formation
about criminal ele¬ments in their domains.
The governor
said that sev¬en corpses were dug up by se¬curity agents in shallow graves in
the said forest including the five missing herdsmen and two Igbo and blamed
kidnappers for the dastardly act.
“This is how
Sambisa and evil forest started,” Okorocha stated, stressing that both states
were synergising to demolish the ‘evil forest’.
He added
that some arrests had been made in connection with the incident and vowed that
the culprits will be made to pay for their action.
The position
of both gover¬nors has exonerated the IPOB who were fingered by the DSS in the
incident.
Okorocha
decried the po¬rous and weak security along inter-state borders, and called for
joint border patrols between both states and other adjoining states of Enugu
and Rivers.

IKPEAZU/ROCHAS’S JOINTSECURITY FORCE: A GOODOMEN
by Ubani Newman
UbaniThe Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu together with his Imo State
counterpart, Owelle Rochas Okorocha have crossed political party lines and
partisan politics to condemn the spate of kidnaping, especially the abduction
and killing of Nigerian citizens.
The killing of 5 herdsmen and 2 Igbo men in a forest located at the
boundary of Abia and Imo States was neither ethnic cleansing nor IPOB/MASSOB
attack (counterattack). The killings were a nefarious activity carried out by
miscreants whose atrocities should not be swept under the carpet using names
such as religious crisis and so on.
The Inter State Joint Security Force being organized by the Gov.
Ikpeazu/Owelle tact team should be should be emulated by other Governors across
the country, cutting across ethnic divide and political affiliations. Security
is everyone’s business. The kidnappers, armed robbers could attack anyone even
the elite who thinks he is well protected or the poor who thinks he has no
ransom to give.
The result of this mutual cooperation among Gov. Ikpeazu and Gov. Rochas
is already showing as the forest of criminal elements and such locations are no
longer be safe havens for criminals. 14 Brigade Garrison based in Ohafia, on
Sunday 10th March 2016 conducted operation aimed and bursted a notorious
kidnapping syndicate based in Nkporo community of Ohafia Local Government Area
of Abia State. During the operation, the troops were able to rescue a kidnapped
victim who was earlier shot and kidnapped by his abductors at Aba on 6th April
2016. However one of the suspected kidnappers Mr Chidiebere Sunday was
apprehended while 2 of his suspected accomplices escaped. One other member of
the gang in a bid to evade arrest through the roof of their den fell from a
roof, hit his head on the hard floor and died.
The Interstate Joint Security Force (Army, Navy, Airforce, NSCDC, NPF)
would greatly increase intelligence gathering, sharing, multi-lateral attacks
against men of the underworld on all fronts which will drastically nip from the
bud their evil activities.

Retired Major General Muhammadu Buhari and his Gestapo

Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) as a violent and terrorist group. In their
latest but poorly written statement titled “DSS Official Statement on Barnawi
and IPOB“, the Gestapo-DSS stated that: “the Service has uncovered the heinous
role played by members of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), in the
abduction/kidnap of five Hausa-Fulani residents, namely Mohammed GAINAKO,
Ibrahim MOHAMMED, Idris YAKUBU, and Isa Mohammed RAGO at Isuikwuato LGA in Abia
State.” They further noted that: “The abducted men were later discovered at the
Umuanyi forest, Abia State, where they were suspected to have been killed by
their abductors and buried in shallow graves, amidst fifty (50) other shallow
graves of unidentified persons. Arrest and investigation conducted so far,
revealed that elements within the IPOB, carried out this dastardly action.”
To drive home their evil intentions, the murderous Gestapo-DSS
asserted that: “It is pertinent therefore to alert the general public that
IPOB, is gradually showing its true divisive colour and objectives, while
steadily embarking on gruesome actions in a bid to ignite ethnic terrorism and
mistrust amongst non-indigenes in the South-East region and other parts of the
country. Following this act, tension is currently rife among communal
stakeholders in the State with possibilities of spillover to other parts of
country“
Sadly, Buhari and his Gestapo-DSS have come too late to the
party because the world is already aware of their plans as earlier revealed
through IPOB‘s statement dated September 9, 2015 and titled: “ PERSISTENT
TERRORIST ATTACKS ON BIAFRANS BY THE NIGERIAN STATE.”
The aforementioned IPOB‘s statement is posted at the end of this
Press Release to remind Buhari and his Gestapo-DSS that IPOB knew ahead of
time, what they have up their sleeves. But apart from IPOB’s proactive warning,
it is important to analyze this red-herring being drawn by Buhari and his
Gestapo-DSS.
First, on the website of the Gestapo-DSS, they stated thus: “We
are obligated by law to investigate the following;
• Threat of espionage
• Threat of espionage
• Threat of sabotage
• Economic crimes of national security dimension
• Terrorist activities
• Separatist agitations and inter-group conflicts.“
But all the claims above are at variance with Section-2(3) of
CAP74 LFN 2004 which is the law that established and empowers the Gestapo-DSS.
Above all, it is not the duty of the Gestapo-DSS to investigate and make
conclusive statements on civilian abduction and murder cases but rather, it is
the duty of the Homicide Department of the Nigeria Police Force under the
Force/State Criminal Investigation Department (FCID or SCID) and the office of
the Director of Coroner’s Inquest of the State in question. Therefore,
structurally and mandate-wise on this occasion, the Gestapo-DSS is a fraud and
their claims/activities are equally fraudulent.
Now, we come to the their statement; How did the Gestapo-DSS
come to the conclusion that it was IPOB members that perpetrated the said
crime? Why was it so easy to identify the five Hausa-Fulani victims by names
while they were unable to identify the name of atleast one person out of the
other fifty victims? Are they saying that only Hausa-Fulani people can be
easily identified by names? Who conducted the “arrest and investigation“ and
when was it done? By the way, where are the pictorial and video evidences of
the claims by the Gestapo-DSS in comparison to the pictures and video footages
provided by IPOB when Buhari killed dozens of Biafrans on February 9, 2016 and
for which Buhari cowardly refused to watch the video footage during an
interview with Al Jazeera’s Martine Dennis?
It is clear to everyone that Buhari and his Gestapo-DSS are
bereft of any strategy to quell the rising profile of IPOB and the growing
resoluteness of Biafrans to restore their God-ordained nation of Biafra despite
extra-judicial killings, intimidations, blackmail, monetary inducements to
Ohaneze Ndigbo and allied groups, and sundry evil acts perpetrated by state
agents. On the other hand, the Gestapo-DSS have realized that they are on the
losing side of the legal proceedings that they initiated against Mazi Nnamdi
Kanu, the leader of IPOB. They have rather resorted to concocting stories of
abduction and killing and have subtly introduced the word “Terrorism“ so that
they will hopefully make it stick on IPOB and then get Buhari to proclaim IPOB
a violent and terrorist organization.
One of the reasons behind this ill-fated statement by the
Gestapo-DSS is to give them the opportunity to go to court and cite
Section-62(2) of CAP38 LFN 2004, which is the missing piece in the second
charge against Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. But they have failed woefully. Another reason
is to give justifications to any upcoming genocidal killing of Biafrans in the
Northern (Arewa nation) part of Nigeria, having laid the grounds for reprisal
killing of those from the Igbo-speaking areas of Biafraland residing in Arewa
portion of Nigeria. Therefore, IPOB is once again alerting the world of the
evil plans of Buhari and his Gestapo-DSS in which they want to tag Biafrans as
violent and terrorists.
We urge the public to disregard this hogwash statement from the
Gestapo-DSS because it lacks credibility, it is not from the
constitutionally/legally authorized source, and it is intended to achieve the
twin objectives of classifying IPOB as a terrorist organization and satisfying
Section-62(2) CAP38 LFN 2004.

IPOB, Igbo youths,
women fault DSS claim on killing of northerners ON APRIL 11, 2016 9:43
AMIN
NEWSCOMMENTS 140 0 1 0 By Emeka Mamah & Chimaobi Nwaiwu Enugu—The
Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Igbo Youths Movement, IYM and the Igbo Women
Association, IWA, yesterday denied the claim by the Department of State
Services, DSS, that five northerners were killed and buried in a forest in Abia
State, saying that it was a ploy by the Federal Government to engineer another
round of mass killing of Igbo in the north. They made this known in three
separate statements made available to Vanguard in Enugu, adding that it was
“not in the character of IPOB as a non-violent organization to kill innocent
people.” DSS OPERATIVES According to them, the Federal Government, “with a
predetermined agenda to cloak IPOB in the garment of violent organisation
deliberately designed such propaganda in order to ignite ethnic cleansing.”
Another plot to kill Kanu Also yesterday, the Indigenous People of Biafra,
IPOB, again alleged that it has uncovered another plan by the All Progressives
Congress, APC-led Federal Government to assassinate its leader, Mr. Nnamdi
Kanu, in Kuje Prison through the help of Boko Haram detainees. IPOB, in a
statement by its Media and Publicity Officer, Mr Emma Powerful, said the
Federal Government, the Department of State Services, DSS and officials of Kuje
Prison held a meeting where they agreed that they will use Boko Haram detainees
to eliminate Mr. Kanu. IPOB said: “In the meeting, they agreed to use some
acclaimed Boko Haram leaders who were arrested and kept in an unknown prison
but will be brought to Kuje prison after being taken to court, where they will
be remanded in the same prison with Mr Kanu and be given weapons to attack him
and claim he insulted them which led to physical combat that claimed his life.
“Another game plan, according to our intelligence arm, revealed that the Boko
Haram fighters will break into where Mr Kanu is presently being detained in
Kuje prison to assassinate him by strangling him to death and afterward,
escaping from the prison and then government will claim that the Boko Haram
attacked the prison to free their members who were detained in the masterminded
jail break,” said IPOB. The IPOB therefore said it wish to alert the world the
latest plan by the APC led government before they carry out their hatched
plans, so that they will not be deceived by the lies being peddled by the
Federal Government against IPOB and its leader.
IPOB’s statement
jointly signed by its spokespersons, Mr. Emma Mmezu and Dr. Clifford Iroanya
read, “On Saturday May 11, May 1953, hordes of organised crowd swooped on
Easterners in Kano and killed 206 of them in cold blood. They were inspired by
a hate speech and false accusation levied on all on Easterners in Kano by one
Mallam Inua Wada. He claimed that Easterners booed Northern parliamentarian in
Lagos. “He was wrong. He mistook Samuel Akintola for an Easterner. Akintola
cancelled his planned trip to campaign in Kano on May 16, 1953. Inua Wada’s
propaganda led to ethnic cleansing in Kano on May 16, 1953. “Exactly 50 years
ago, meetings were held in the hostel of the Institute of Administration Zaria (now
Ahmadu Bello University, ABU). Easterners were blamed for every wrong in
Nigeria. The propaganda worked so well in preparing grounds for the horrendous
three wave genocidal pogrom in 1966. “On December 10, 2014, a well-orchestrated
propaganda in Kano that Ndigbo were responsible for the Kanti Kwan Market
suicide bombing were so effectively spread, that Easterners were forced to
leave Kano in droves. Luckily, the confession of 12 year-old Zarau Babangida
that she refused to detonate her explosives… she went on to tell the world how
her own father handed her over to the Boko Haram in Bauchi… “God used her
confession to foil the plots of those who planned to incite a pogrom in Kano in
December 2014 so Easterners will be driven away just before the presidential
elections. “Yesterday, the DSS announced that IPOB killed five northerners and
buried them in a forest near Aba. Again, it is clear for even toddlers to see
the game plan here. A government with a predetermined agenda to cloak IPOB in
the garment of violent organisation deliberately designed such a cheap
propaganda in order to ignite ethnic cleansing.
This very cheap
blackmail by the DSS is idiotic and unintelligent. “First, it is not in our
character to kill innocent live in cold blood. Second, we assure the DSS and
their cohorts that the day we will decide to go violent, the whole world will
know, like we did in 1967. Thirdly, five northerners do not make up for 218
IPOB men and women murdered in cold blood between November 2015 and February
2016. “If we were to declare war, we will begin by killing at least 5,000
people, not just five. Finally, nobody in his/her right senses will take the
DSS serious, until they are able to prove how, where, when and why IPOB killed
five people and the DSS. The same DSS which could not locate the corpses of
over 500 Agatu civilians, suddenly located the five people allegedly IPOB
killed. “The reason the DSS are riding on the intelligence of Nigerians, is
probably because, they believe Nigerians are a bunch of idiots who would
believe anything.
We assure the DSS
that their plot to incite blood shed may well come to pass, but when it
happens, we will be the first to announce to the world why we finally took up
arms. This false accusation by the DSS is a very cheap blackmail, nobody would
believe.” Also, the Igbo Women Assembly, IWA, in a statement signed by its
Leader, Chief (Mrs.) Mariah Okwor stated: “IWA condemns in no uncertain terms
the clearly false allegation by the DSS that IPOB killed five northerners and
buried them in a forest in Aba. This calculated blackmail is probably plotted
to give IPOB a bad name. IPOB has never been and cannot transform into a
violent organisation. “IPOB is a mass movement of millions of eastern youths,
who are frustrated and disenchanted with Nigeria as presently structured. Those
who came up with this spurious accusation, had better look for a better story
to tell. “The IWA knows that the extra- judicial killing of these unarmed IPOB
youths, which could have radicalised them in turning violent, did not achieve
that; therefore, we do not believe that the age old brigandage of Fulani
herdsmen would now turn IPOB into murderers overnight. Nobody
believes the DSS funny story. Also, reacting to the allegation, the Igbo Youths
Movement, IYM, said that it would have ignored the DSS allegations, but for the
grave implication it portends. In a statement signed by the IYM Founder and
Secretary of Igbo Leaders of Thought, Evangelist Elliot Uko, the youths, said,
“After careful enquiries from IPOB leaders, we stand by their story, that IPOB
will never come down low to kill innocent people in cold blood. “Therefore, the
IYM pleads with the DSS to make public the IPOB members who killed this five
northerners, the circumstances of their death, venue, date and event that led
to their killing. Unless the DSS avails Nigerians with a detailed account, we
find it extremely difficult to believe this very strange story.” Another plot
to kill Kanu Also yesterday, the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, again
alleged it has uncovered another plans by the All Progressives Congress, APC,
led Federal Government of Nigeria to assassinate their leader Mr. Nnamdi Kanu
in Kuje Prison through the help of Boko Haram detainees.
IPOB in a
statement signed by its Media and Publicity Officer Mr Emma Powerful, said that
the Federal Government, the Department of State Services, DSS and the officials
of the Kuje prisons held a meeting where they agreed that they will use the
Boko Haram detainees to eliminate Mr. Kanu. “In the meeting they agreed to use
some acclaimed Boko Haram leaders who were arrested and kept in an unknown
prison, and will be brought to Kuje Prison after being taken to court, where
they will be remanded in the same prison with Mr Kanu and will be given weapons
to attack him claim he insulted them which led to physical combat that claimed
his life. “Another game plan according to our intelligence arm revealed that
the Boko Haram fighters will break the prison where Mazi Kanu is presently
detained in Kuje to assassinate him through strangling him to death and escape
from the prison and then government will claim that the Boko Haram attacked the
prison to free their member who were detained in Kuje prison in the
masterminded jail break” said IPOB. The IPOB therefore said it wish to alert
the world the latest plan by the APC led government before they carry out their
hatched plans, so that they will not be deceived by the lies being peddled by
the Federal Government against IPOB and its leader. Read more at: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/04/ipob-igbo-youths-women-fault-dss-claim-killing-northerners/

#BREAKING: Tribal War At The Army
Barracks, 82 Division Enugu. Three Soldiers Feared Dead
Russian IPOB in full motion in the Catholic ChurchYesterday really showed the divide among the ethnic groups that make up Nigeria as men of the Nigerian army opened fire on each other with at least three soldiers feared dead. EASTERN RADIO gathered that the cause of the shooting and killing was as a result of ill treatment of the Igbo soldiers as to concerning peace keepings. According our source, 82 Division Nigerian Army Enugu were giving a mandate to shortlist about 54 soldiers to join hands and combat Niger Delta Militants uprising, which the GOC Brigadier Gen Ibrahim Attahiru assigned to two commanders who hails from Northern and another from South Western Nigeria respectively. But owing to disunity, nepotism and tribalism that beclouds the Nation Nigeria, these commanders shortlisted all 54 Igbo soldiers. One of the enlisted Soldier who was saddened by the outcome of this list questioned the process used to enlist only Igbo Soldiers to this mission of death. The commander picked offense and demanded to know what gave him the audacity to question him, talk more off conceiving to disobey a military order. The said Commander in display of anger pulled out his gun and shot this young soldier on the forehead, killing him instantly. Another soldier who is among the enlisted soldiers immediately withdrew his own gun and fired the commander thereby killing him too. He then directed the gun on the second commander. It became a war ground as soldiers all surrendered themselves. Civilians where all on their heels. There would have been a blood bath in 82 Division Enugu but thanks to imediate intervention by the GOC who calmed the atmosphere of war. As at the time of filling this report, there is no movement in and out of the barracks. Killing of five Northerners: DSS lied against IPOB – Igbo groups
South-East based groups, the Igbo Women Assembly, IWA, and the Igbo
Youth Movement, IYM, Sunday, described as falsehood allegation by the
Department of State Services, DSS, over the killing of five Northerners.
The DSS had alleged
that the five Northerners were killed and buried by some members of the
Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
However, IWA, in a
statement signed by its leader, Chief (Mrs.) Mariah Okwor said it “condemns in
no uncertain terms the clearly false allegation by the DSS, that IPOB killed 5
northerners and buried them in a forest in Aba.
“This calculated
blackmail is probably plotted to give IPOB a bad name. IPOB has never been and
cannot transform into a violent organisation.
“IPOB is a mass
movement of millions of Eastern Youths, who are frustrated and disenchanted
with Nigeria as presently structured. Those who came up with this spurious
accusation, had better look for a better story to tell.”
“The Igbo Women
Assembly, know that the extra judicial killing of these unarmed IPOB youths,
which could have radicalised them in turning violent, did not achieve that,
therefore, we do not believe that the age old bringandage of Fulani herdsmen
would now turn IPOB into murderers overnight.
BUHARI AND DSS WE ARE NOT TERRORISTS LIKE YOU
AND CAN NEVER BE:
SO STOP YOUR CAMPAIGN OF CALUMNY Over the years, the Fulani nomads and their herds have turned people's farmland into a pasture where these herds and the herdsmen alike find satisfactions from farmers crops. Food crops that are the source of livelihood and survival for these poor people have been\ appetizers to these hungry nomads and their herds. Not only have these poor farmers been affected, these wicked and deadly herdsmen are not stopping at only the destruction of people's farmland, they have been kidnapping, raping, pillaging and killing peaceful people that protest these nefarious behaviors. With all these ongoing, never for once have these deadly set of killers ever been confronted, questioned, and or prosecuted.
Is it not unfathomable why all these destructions are ongoing, the
government intentionally ignored the suffering populace that are recipients
of these
dastardly acts? Boko Haram insurgency kills and destroys at freewill, still the
government
and the Nigerian president supports these dreaded sects when Muhammad Buhari publicly said that ''.....an attack on Boko Haram is an attack on the North.'' Up till date, none has questioned the rationale behind such statement. The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the leadership of unlawful abducted, detained and tortured worldwide leader; Nnamdi Kanu has never engaged in any violent activity despite being forced and tempted to. READ ALSO: DSS ARRESTS BOKO HARAM SUSPECT AND TAGGED IPOB TERRORISTS
The government through the DSS has waited since their
abduction of Nnamdi Kanu in October 2015 to see if the IPOB will go violent
even with
many of the illegal incarcerations, maimings, raping, and killings of peaceful Biafrans. Without success, the DSS has now therefore turned to using unfounded allegations and lies with the sole aim of maligning the peaceful IPOB. Nnamdi Kanu's unlawful abduction could have been a reason to be violent but the IPOB thus far still choose to walk on the peaceful path. DSS were the ones that kidnapped Nnamdi Kanu, they were the ones that tortured Nnamdi Kanu in custody, they were the ones that flouted court orders to release Nnamdi Kanu, they were still the ones that prevented the public from gaining access into the court room, which could be ascribed to initiation of secret trial as earlier overruled by the same court of under, under the precision of John Tsoho. According to BIAFRA WRITERS crew who were present at the last court session, a DSS agent was seen violently shoving journalists and the attendees out of court room. When asked why, the DSS agent boastfully said that "We do not take orders from a judge". With this statement, one could deduce that Muhammadu Buhari is the unseen hand controlling the DSS. It is evident that the Nigerian government through her agent of lies and deceits; the DSS is about to loose another case in the court as they have been losing. The continuous detention of Nnamdi Kanu is unjustifiable as proven by the two previous judges that acquitted him of all allegations leveled against him. Even though all these latest allegations are aimed at influencing the judges in the upcoming appeal hearing, Biafrans dare the DSS to prove these allegations. The Nigerian government through the DSS are responsible for the killings of Biafrans both in Biafraland and elsewhere. The IPOB never killed anyone in retaliation even when we have been forced to retaliate whereas the DSS and its foot soldiers; the Fulani nomads and Boko Haram destroy, maim and kill at will. The Biafrans value the beauty of life and abhors killing of people. READ ALSO: DSS CALLING IPOB TERRORIST: DEBUNKING AND DECONSTRUCTING THEIR (DSS) STATEMENT FULL OF RUBBISH! Just as the IPOB voiced their disappointments and disagreements on the biased and fraudulent judge John Tsoho, so will these present allegations and lies be met with adequate rejection by the IPOB. I quite believe that Buhari and his cohorts are well aware that Hague is a place for their ilks. Therefore, must they be aware that Hague's prison cells are still vacant and there will they soon become occupants. Our concerns have always been the judge handling the case between Nnamdi Kanu and the Nigerian government. John Tsoho has shown he does not respect the law and therefore, will not act according to the law. While the Fulani herdsmen walk freely after the destructions and killings, the DSS has never deemed it fit to publicly confirm the nomads a TERRORIST group. BOKO HARAM's sympathizer was never apprehended nor questioned for supporting the dreaded sects. Is this not appalling to name a peaceful IPOB that never destroyed, maimed nor killed a terror group? It is important to put it straight to Buhari and his DSS that there is no amount of allegations and deceits that will deter the IPOB in speaking and standing always at the side of truth. It is obvious that the DSS is seriously ready to tarnish the image of the IPOB with this latest line of action. Regardless, the IPOB will always and continue to disprove them with irrefutable facts. We will never stop exercising our rights according to the United Nations declarations on the rights of indigenous people.

OE,NewsPoint : Buhari Needs
To Condemn DSS’s Sinister
Linking Of
IPOB To Killing Of
‘Terrorist Fulani Herdsmen’ ;-
BUHARI MUST CONDEMN THE DSS, SACK LAWAN MUSA DAURA, FOR THE SHAMEFUL, SINISTER AND UNSUBSTANTIATED LINKAGE OF IPOB TO THE KILLING OF SUSPECTED TERRORIST FULANI HERDSMEN IN ABIA STATE After several months of silence and inaction by the Buhari administration regarding the rampant killings and destruction of Nigerian communities by the terrorist Fulani Herdsmen, the Department of Security Services, following its suspicious clandestine “investigation”, issued a reckless and violence inducing statement indicting the peace loving Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) group of kidnapping, and killing suspected terrorist Fulani herdsmen.
The statement reads: “The Service
has uncovered the heinous role played by members of the Indigenous Peoples of
Biafra (IPOB), in the abduction/kidnap of five Hausa-Fulani residents, namely
Mohammed Gainako, Ibrahim Mohammed, Idris Yakubu and Isa Mohammed Rago at
Isuikwuato LGA in Abia State,” Mr. Opuiyo said. The abducted men were later
discovered at the Umuanyi forest, Abia State, where they were suspected to have
been killed by their abductors and buried in shallow graves, amidst fifty (50)
other shallow graves of unidentified persons. Arrest and investigation
conducted so far, revealed that elements within the IPOB, carried out this
dastardly action.” (The Trent, April 9, 2016)
While all well-meaning people have called for and would welcome thorough investigation of the growing violence under this administration, one wonders why it took the killing of 5 suspected terrorist Fulani herdsmen in Igbo land, a region disdained by the administration, for it to hastily and prematurely issue an indictment of a peaceful organization like IPOB. According to a report titled “Terror in the Food Basket” published by SMB Intelligence, a data mining and research firm that provides analysis of Nigeria’s socio-political and economic situations, over 2,000 people have been killed in conflicts between the herdsmen and host communities in the region in 2015 alone. In comparison, according to the report, the Boko Haram insurgency kills 2,500 people annually. The fact that the terrorist Fulani herdsmen have matched Boko Haram killing rate, and the failure of the government to take concrete steps into resolving the issue and punishing perpetrators, only emboldens the terrorists and leave terrorized citizens and communities no option but to defend themselves. To avoid further scapegoating of Ndigbo as a result of this reckless DSS statement, all Igbo leaders and organizations and peace loving people everywhere must immediately raise their voices in condemnation of Mr Lawan Musa Daura, the DSS Director and his agency. I am also calling on President Buhari to immediately sack Mr Daura, while condemning and disassociating his administration from the sinister DSS statement.

BIAFRA: FULANI
HERDSMEN: THEIR
SUPPORT AND DSS FRAME
UP
Tyrant Buhari
I have known Fulani herdsmen since childhood and when I was a kid I do enjoy seeing them; they go with cows and we come out cheering or playfully stoning the last flock or see them when they come out to buy bread or drink locally brewed “kai-kai”. My mother would warn me against stoning because she had already told me they often go with charms for protection. That is their normal way of protecting their selves against hostile animals and other things.
My comrade Oscar Lee had once
posited that Fulani herdsmen turn to cows via magic or charm when grazing in a
dangerous bush. There was actually no need for” arm” concern because there are
no cow rustlers in Biafra land; I have never heard of cow rustling and even if
it has happened; it has only happened on a low key. My mother used to own a
shop they often come and buy beer or hot drink; after each drink, they stand
and click their whips in a training-like session. We often hear of how they destroyed
one farm land or another and when we tell them; they always promise never to go
there or blame their inability to control their cows. There was mutual respect
and there was fear as strangers; they seemed to be conscious of the fact that
we also survive through farming as much as they survive through animal rearing.
Destroying our farm for their cows to live is infringement and attack or threat
to our existence.
I have never seen hostile Fulani
herdsmen until recently and when Buhari became the president of Nigeria; Fulani
menace surged and it became a massaged terrorism. They do nothing but the same
work as Boko Haram though the difference remains that they don’t bomb us. They
massacre us and kill in hundreds; leave us in fear and yet destroy our farms.
They have been armed and nothing can be done about it. They walk like the
owners of Nigeria and neither has Buhari warned or taken their atrocities
serious. Hence Fulani herdsmen are the perpetrators; they have done nothing and
that is why Agatu massacre was never condemned until Fayose fought gallantly.
Though the condemnation is to fulfill all righteousness; there is a siege
already laid; I have asked myself why Fulani herdsmen rose like a phoenix just
minutes after Buhari was confirmed the president of Nigeria. Does it mean other
presidents have been keeping them in bondage?- do they now feel like the owners
of Nigeria?- or did Buhari urge them to go on with Usman Danfodio legacies?
There are questions and there
should be answers. I have failed to comprehend how a common herder got armed
and got trained on how to use AK47. Who bought those guns and for what purpose?
If the gun is to chase or kill cattle rustlers; are herdsmen now security men
or are cattle rustlers seen in this old eastern region? There is no how I can
be convinced otherwise when I say that Fulani herdsmen are for the special
purpose of Islamization and subjugation. There is great concern to be cautious
of them before you will be silenced as Victor Umeh was silenced for condemning
their activities. As these Fulani herdsmen are going about wrecking havoc;
nothing has been done about it. When over five hundred people were killed in
Agutu; to my greatest surprise; no single herdsman was arrested and neither was
a probe initiated. No account or accusation was made or laid by the DSS and
even in other places; it has been same case. Fulani herdsmen are beyond the law
and cannot be touched or questioned and that is how it will remain as long as
they foster the plan of Buhari.
Fulani herdsmen with AK47
The trending plan today is to accuse IPOB of kidnapping them and then DSS will increase their genocide rate on Biafra. The irresponsibility or the excess of Buhari’s security men to answer questions or curb Fulani terrorism has resulted to what I will describe as self defense. People cannot be dying every day and you expect them to keep dying because you want them to die. They will eventually stand and fight to live because life is precious even to a mad man or a new born baby that knows nothing. In Agatu, victims are fighting back the way they can; in Agwu people of the ravaged community are fighting to their best and now in Umuahia. Five Fulani herdsmen were reportedly attacked by strangers or residents in self defense or proactive measure to save the community from bloodbath or reprisal as the case may be and the Nigerian security triggered alarm, red light is blinking right now while in Agatu, Agwu and other places hundreds were killed, raped and kidnapped by Fulani herdsmen; no alarm was raised and no red light blinked. The DSS has quickly mentioned IPOB as behind the kidnap of the five Fulani herdsmen reported missing.
It is a sharp one to implicate
IPOB so as to have reason for their cold genocide on Biafra. The Nigerian
government have tried very much to demonize IPOB; it started from being tagged
a terrorist organization to militant when vessel was hijacked; they quickly ran
and accused IPOB of hijacking the vessel. Time was kind enough to disclose that
IPOB has no hand in the hijack and yet IPOB received no apology. There have
been one accusation or another just to undermine the peaceful and lawful nature
of IPOB but it has failed; there is no need to worry as this latest move to tag
IPOB kidnappers organization will fell. The sharp concern from the security men
and the federal government concerning the kidnap of these Fulani herdsmen calls
for concern. If 500 Agatu people could not attract condemnation from the
presidency while the kidnap of the perpetrators of genocide, kidnap, rape,
destruction of farms and murderers could attract this sharp response; then is
fair to ask; who are Fulani herdsmen working for?
The reaction of the security men
shows the president is deeply angered by the kidnap of his foot soldiers. The
move by DSS to frame IPOB as kidnappers so as to get the ground or justify
their unlawful incarceration, murder and forced disappearance of Biafrans is a
futile effort. IPOB is a peaceful people of Biafra and it becomes funny when
you accuse a nation of kidnapping five worthless and inconsequential figures.
IPOB remains peaceful and when the time for arm struggle comes up; there won’t
be need to accuse IPOB of doing anything because we shall do so openly. DSS
should know that accusing IPOB of kidnapping five Fulani herdsmen is a big
insult to the Biafra nation. Should we kidnap, we shall start from the
President to the governors and then political class who are guilty of
destruction and genocide.
Finally, it is important to
remind the government of Nigeria the need to respect and maintain a good
diplomatic tie with Biafra nation. The act of forcing and trying to demonize a
peaceful people to be bad is a plan that will only backfire. IPOB has chosen to
peacefully restore Biafra; even when we were massacred in Onitsha, Aba,
Igweocha, Enugu etc, we stayed strong and endured the urge for reprisal. If we
can still remain peaceful despite everything done so far; there is need to
commend IPOB than go on imposing what IPOB cannot be on IPOB. The DSS should
know that their failure to contain or contend Fulani onslaught is responsible
for the self defense strangers or community residents may activate. As IPOB was
accused of kidnapping Fulani herdsmen; IPOB should also be accused of the
reprisal in Agutu and accused of the kidnap of a top military commander. IPOB
should be accused of all the kidnapping going on in Nigeria to show a clear
frustration of Nigerian government. IPOB will remain peaceful and hence IPOB
has found out that peace frustrates FG, they will continue to remain peaceful.

challenging his alleged unlawful arrest and detention since December last year
by the Nigerian government.
Against the objection of government, the court ruled in Abuja that it
has jurisdiction to entertain the suit brought before it by Mr. Dasuki for the
enforcement of his fundamental rights to liberty and to own property as
enshrined in the Nigerian 1999 constitution and African Charter on fundamental
rights of persons, news agency, PRNigeria, is reporting.
In the ruling delivered by Justice Friday Chijoke Nwoke, the ECOWAS
court dismissed the objection of government against Mr. Dasuki’s suit on the
ground that the objection was misconceived, frivolous and lacked merit.
Justice Nwoke who delivered the unanimous ruling by the three-member
panel of the court, held that the claim of government that Mr. Dasuki’s case
emanated from his trial on certain offences was inappropriate since the
relieves sought by Mr. Dasuki had nothing to do with his ongoing trial at the
domestic courts of Nigeria.
The justices held that the claim of government that Mr. Dasuki ought to have
filed contempt charge against the Nigerian government for disobeying court
orders cannot be sustained because the case of the applicant is not ambiguous,
in that it has no root from any criminal trial in any court.
Justice Nwoke said at any rate, the claim by the Nigerian government
could not stand in the face of the law because there was no evidence that Mr.
Dasuki had filed similar matter in any international court.
The judge said even if he had similar matter in any Nigerian court (up
to Supreme Court), such a domestic court would not be allowed the status of an
international court as envisaged in the treaty in which Nigeria is signatory.
“In our opinion, what Dasuki brought before us as a case is an issue for
the enforcement of his fundamental rights to liberty and own property and
against unlawful arrest, unlawful detention and unlawful seizure of properties
without any court order or warrant of arrest. Foramfera
“From the totality of the issues brought before this court, it is clear
and there is no ambiguity that the applicant is seeking enforcement of his
right to freedom and not on the issue of his trial for any alleged offence
before any Nigerian court”.
Justice Nwoke further said, “Therefore, the objection of the government
and the request that the case of the applicant in this matter be struck out on
the ground of emanating from any criminal matter has no basis, the claims and
the request lack merit and hereby dismissed and we declare that the application
of Dasuki is admissible to this court,” the court said.
The sub-regional court said it was not out to decide the issue of
whether the applicant is guilty of the charges against him in the Nigerian
courts or not but simply to ascertain whether his continued detention, having
been granted bail in criminal matters and rearrested since last year and kept
in an unknown place, constitute an abuse of his rights to freedom.
Mr. Dasuki, through his lawyer, Robert
Emukpoeruo and Wale Balogun, had filed an action before the ECOWAS court to
complain that Nigerian security agencies invaded his homes in Abuja, Kaduna and
Sokoto without any court order or warrant of arrest and seized his properties,
comprising vehicles, money and documents, an action he argued amounted to abuse
of his rights to liberty as enshrined in section 36 and 34 of the 1999
constitution and other international laws to which Nigeria is signatory.
Besides, he complained that the invasion of his homes by operatives of
government traumatised his 94-year old father who became traumatised and had,
up till now, yet to recover from the sickness that followed. Mr. Dasuki
therefore asked the ECOWAS court to award N500million compensatory damages in
his favour having been denied access”.
NIGERIA DSS CHASING
RAT WHILE THEIR HOUSE IS
ON FIRE
By Paul Ihechi Alagba
For Family Writers
It was a severe shock to me
reading from various Nigeria media outlets the headline saying-"DSS ACCUSE
BIAFRA ACTIVISTS OF KILLING FULANI HERDSMEN IN ABIA STATE." I decided to
have a wider view at the frivolous allegation to ascertain its veracity but to
my greatest surprise, I found out that the noise pollution was actually from an
empty shell. I had expected the so called Nigeria Department of State Security
(DSS) to have provided the names and pictures of the 50 dead bodies they
claimed they found in the burrow pit instead of singling out the names of the
only five (5) Fulani herdsmen in the alleged pit they saw or are they trying to
tell us that the 45 other dead bodies are not Nigerians. Are they trying to
tell us that the life of a Fulani terrorist is more important than the life of
the other 45 Nigerians?
I also expected the DSS to
provide evidence that it was actually IPOB that attacked the herdsmen but at
the end of the day I was left disappointed as they couldn't even provide a
single IPOB member that carried out the attack. At least it is expected that
before an Intelligence agency like DSS could come out to the press to make such
a magnanimous allegation that could spring up a bloody inter-ethnic violence
across the country, such an allegation should come up with veritable evidence.
It is not only a matter jumping out to the press to utter a nonsensical garbage
that IPOB are the culprits in a crime that you are still investigating even to
the extent of making the assertion that IPOB are now showcasing their terrorist
attributes. This is grossly a statement of witch-hunt and an unprecedented act
of immaturity and unprofessionalism.
Ever since Boko Haram has been
rampaging the country with terrorism activities, I’m yet to hear that DSS have
foiled or prevented their planned attacks. Isn't it an irony that Boko Haram
have one of their most dangerous strongholds in Abuja, the Federal Capital
Territory of Nigeria?
Even the natives in the
North-Eastern part of Nigeria are accusing the DSS of ignoring them whenever
they notify the DSS of the presence of Boko Haram around their territory which
would later lead to severe loss of lives. It is this same DSS that will come
out to the press to accuse the Indigenous People Of Biafra that has been
operating peacefully in almost every country of the world of carrying out
terrorism activities in Nigeria. What a joke!
It is also on record that ever
since Fulani militants started genocide against Biafrans and the communities in
the Middle Belt region of Nigeria, the Dss has never arrested any of the Fulani
herdsmen perpetrating this dastardly act neither have they quickly released the
names of victims of the massacres as they've done in the case of the Fulani
herdsmen they are alleging without evidence were murdered by Biafrans.
Kidnapping which has become a
tradition in Nigeria has never met any serious revolt by Nigeria DSS and
security operatives; instead they are the ones kidnapping those who speak
against the atrocities of Nigerian government just as they kidnapped Nnamdi
Kanu and could have murdered him had IPOB not raised a timely serious outcry.
This same DSS has turned
themselves as puppet of Buhari's government whom he used to oppress his
opposition politicians and incarcerate them unlawfully. Just recently they
abducted a state lawmaker and held him extra-judicially for several weeks after
which they dumped him in a hospital and ran away after discovering that the man
is almost at the point of death.
Having seen
all these, it is crystal clear that Nigerian DSS and other security agencies
joined together perpetrate more terrorism activities than Boko Haram while IPOB
are the ones exposing them to the world. Nigerian DSS should know that while
they point a stunt finger at IPOB, the other four fingers are profusely
pointing at them. I would personally advice the Nigerian DSS to stop chasing
rats while its house is on fire because they may end up not catching the rat
and lose their house as well.
The Federal Government of Nigeria offered me millions of dollars, ministerial Post, Oil Blocks, Yet I am Suffering for my beloved country of Biafra, Biafra or death-Nnamdi Kanu
"Nigeria has
offered me wealth. . .but I want Biafra! I was brought into this world to lead
Biafrans out of Nigeria - Nnamdi Kanu speaks from Kuje Prison.."
A must read: BIAFRA
DISMISSES NIGERIA
ALLEGATION AS NON-
SESNE
AND REDICULOUS!
Nigeria accuses Biafrans of killing herdsmen; What a
non-sense... !! The highest level of ignorance in display, a senseless
operation, cowardly and counter-productive.
My good people of Biafra, on NO account should anybody pannick
over the most recent Nigeria DSS report and allegation against Biafrans in
connection to herdsmen and people killings. How is it that Nigeria government
that could not even account for incidents within Biafra cities, towns and
villages managed to uncover incidents in the forests where animals live? Very
laughable! In a plain explanation, Nigeria now specializes in securing forests
and giving account of forest related incidents. It has been echoed repeatedly
on the arrogance of Nigeria and its senseless stratagies to discredit Biafra,
but on the contrary, the aspiration of the people for sovereignty waxed
stronger and unabated. The questions on the accusation that remained unanswered
are;
- When did Nigeria become effective in covering incidents in
Biafra cities, town, villages, farmlands that they now cover the forests... ?
- Who first discovered the alleged graves in forest of
Biafraland; the Biafra indigenes, Housa-Fulani Herdsmen or the Nigeria DSS?
- Where are the proof photos made public with clear victims
identification?
- It would have been a bit credible of Nigeria allegation if all
the alleged corpses contained in the alleged shallow graves were only
Hausa-Fulani herdsmen; how is it that only five herdsmen were killed if it was
Biafra masterminded?
Now, get the game plan clear, Nigeria Housa-Fulani BOKO HARAM
deployed all over Biafraland killed Biafrans and made selective killing of
their foes within the herdsmen, buried them inside the forest in Biafraland
having adopted grazing pretence. How possible... ? YES! Very REAL!! The Housa -
Fulanis were contracted by Nigeria government of Hausa-Fulani inner caucus to
carry out the operation in a desperate attempt to explore shabby evidence
against Biafra having been nervous of MASSOB lattest announcements on ICJ
intervention over Mazi Nnamdi kanu, the Biafra people and to address the UN
world indigineous peoples summit. This allegation shouldn't have been a
surprise to Biafrans because the warning has been issued and sensitization made
beforehand. Quote Mazi Nnamdi Kanu; "...Nigeria will kill us and they must
lie against us... ." Here it is and never a surprsie.
Acknowledging the effect of this barbaric act and propoganda by
Nigeria against Biafrans must never be under-estimated. It tends towards sowing
more pronounced division between Biafra and Nigeria. Further propoganda and
allegations facilitate the speedy process of Biafra restoration; yet killings
of Biafrans in the Nigeria-DSS manner would never be tolorated. Biafra condemns
in strongest terms all sorts of killings and allegations by Nigeria. Look-up
and behold the ticking time; Biafra MUST be restored now or never!
Those who fan the traits of war experiences to deter Biafrans
must be very careful. Biafrans are never cowards, neither shall we be
intimidated. If anyone thinks as an elderly Nigeria statesman or leader and can
boast of war experience, then it is no news. Mind you, there are those ever
ready to explore a modern war experience and emerge heroes. Nobody should play
with the appraoch of Biafrans over this struggle irrespective of the fact that
we are towing the path of civilization. Nigeria military must be cautioned
mostly the DSS for the bullet respects nobody neither does it chose the hand it
makes its hero. Everybody is a potential military personel, it is all a matter
of choice. No military should under-estimate the roadside mechanic, the
fisherman, carpenter, even the palm wine tapper etc. The worst of war and
bullet is no respect for anyone! Nigeria, do not forget the dare consequences
of mordern day conflicts. Biafra sovereignty is non-negotiable neither is it a
course for arms comfrontation. Biafra is a civil right of the people and must
be respected within the international civil rights laws; that is civilization!
To Biafrans all over the world, the Housa-Fulanis are infuriated
now over the DSS-Nigeria propoganda. The seed of hatred and revenge has been
kindled in their hearts. Be very cautious and at alert, yet be focused for
Biafra MUST be restored now or never.
Mr Azubuike Francis.
WARNING TO NIGERIAN TERRORISTS! IAM A FREEDOM FIGHTER NOT YOUR
FELLOW TERRORIST
I am a
gentleman but never a coward, I am God fearing but never a religious fanatic.
I choose common sense over madness, But you’ve chosen madness over common sense by tagging me a
Terrorist.
I know you are alien to peace which I bring, Your bigotry has led you
astray, Your sentiment has destroyed the spirit of your discernment You now
dine with terrorists and imprison the angel of peace and liberation.
I’ve
been a victim of your terrorism for the ages past You’ve turned yourself to a
vampire because you can’t live without my blood.
I am
the thousands of innocent people you are incarcerating at your various prisons,
I am Nnamdi Kanu whom you want to give a masquerade trial.
I am
the millions of children you starved to death just to uphold my enslavement. I
am the millions of people the world helped you to exterminate.
I am
the thousands of women you raped to death. I am the thousands of men you
rounded up and slaughtered in Asaba. I am the pregnant women you killed
together with their unborn babies.
You
chased me away from your land, I ran back to my home to seek refuge but you
visited me with drones.
You
desolated my land, You’ve contaminated my land with my blood, You are a darkness
unto my path, You’ve made life miserable for me.
Now I’ve
decided to say “never again” in a most peaceful way but you’ve sworn to bring
the genocide you started into completion. You’ve unleashed your trained
terrorists on my people, Now they kill them in thousands and
bury them in mass graves, You’ve unleashed your Fulani terrorists upon my
people, they are the secret army for the execution of your wahhabis
Islamisation plot, they abduct and kill our clergies, they slaughter us in
thousands while you pretend it never happened, they destroy our farmlands
in the guise of grazing- yet your hypocrisy won’t allow you see them as
terrorists.
Why have you
decided to play with fire by your desperation to tag me a terrorist?
The mission
which you’ve embarked is highly suicidal. Nobody is born a terrorist, its
either you’re forced or you’re radicalised into terrorism, By calling me
a terrorist when I’m not a terrorist, you’re desperately trying to radicalise
and force me into terrorism.
By calling me
a terrorist when you are the one terrorising me is the greatest mistake you
have ever made.
You’ve
resorted to lies and propagandas to justify your genocide against me, your
failure is guaranteed this time because the chain of enslavement has been
broken.
Never again
shall Biafrans set on gold and be begging for grass.
This is a
warning not a plea.
Biafra is a
moving train; Any roadblock against her shall be crushed into thousand
fragments.
I AM A
BIAFRAN! I STAND FOR JUSTICE AND FREEDOM!
I AM NOT A
TERRORIST! I AM A VICTIM OF TERRORISM!
IT IS EITHER
BIAFRA OR DEATH.

Horrific attacks on Biafrans by the Nigeria Department
of Secret Services (DSS) and Hausa-Fulani herdsmen intensified since October
last year when Mazi Nnamdi Kanu the leader of Indigenous People Of Biafra
(IPOB) and director of Radio Biafra/Television was Illegally arrested at tulip
hotel by DSS.
Hundreds of IPOB peaceful protesters had been killed so far in separate attacks by the Fulani herdsmen in collaboration with the DSS.
AGATU MASSACRE:
On March , Hausa-Fulani invaded Agatu local government, an idoma community in the north central Benue State, reportedly Killing 500 People and Carrying out ARSON in the same area.
OGONI MASSACRE:
On February 22n 2016, Nigerian happy triggered
soldiers invaded Yeghe Community In Gokana Local Government Area Of Ogoni,
Rivers State, under the guise of searching for Solomon Ndigbara a former
militant, they gruesomely violated the fundamental human right of Ogoni people
,killing not fewer than twenty people, burnt down houses and destroyed
properties worth millions of naira. The Nigerian army perpetrated these killings
with the same gun purchased by the citizen's tax money meant for the
protections of live and property through internal policing.
In all this killings, the DSS kept mute without
investigating and bringing the killers to book, also Hausa-Fulani herdsmen
carried out the same similar attacks in AWGU community where they succeeded in
abducting two women returning from their farms. In retaliation the youths of
the community mobilize and went after the abductors, only for the police to
clamp down on them, arrested and detained almost seventy six of them. While all
this delay was to buy enough time for the herdsmen to escape without trace.
The atrocities perpetrated by this Hausa-Fulani
Herdsmen with the help of Nigeria security forces who always shielded them to
escape is an evidence to prove that the recent claims by the DSS that IPOB
kidnapped five Fulani resident whose bodies were claimed to be discovered at
the umuanyi forest in Abia state is pure lies and deceitful. It exposes the
unprofessional ethics of the DSS.
Since the incarceration of Nnamdi kanu, the DSS has always been looking
for every available opportunity to provide "TAINTED EVIDENCE “that will be
used against him. But they will always fail because IPOB under Mazi Nnamdi Kanu
is whiter than the white and whiter than the snow.
In a recent statement made last night by the DSS
spokesperson opuiyo tony who claimed that IPOB want to ignite ethnic terrorism, we therefore ask between
Hausa-fulani Herdsmen With The DSS, and IPOB who is igniting ethnic terrorism, is it Fulani herdsmen that
massacre over 500 agatu residence, kidnapped two awgu women, and killed two reverend sisters
at Enugu, and The DSS
that claimed the Fulani herdsmen are not Nigerian but Chadian migrants yet
refuses to investigate there heinous crimes in Benue, Rivers & Enugu. And
without investigation accuses IPOB of murdering five Fulani herdsmen.DSS are
the real one supporting ethnic terrorism.
We Hereby Warned Them To Stop Tagging IPOB as
terrorist group .IPOB are the one that has been extra judicially decimated and
massacred including the Feb 9th were army killed 29 of IPOB members and dump
them in a borrow pit at Aba.
IPOB Will Never Resolve in
Carrying arms not now that Biafra restoration is around the corner.
The Nigeria department of secret service and Sahara reporters should stop their
unguided utterances toward IPOB because the war of words can be more lethal
than the war of Bombs. DSS Check Your Words with care. Family Writers will
always expose and naked your lies before the world.
NIGERIAN
PRESIDENT OR
KING OF THE NORTH?
In 418 B.C.
Herodotus, the Greek philosopher who is known as the ‘’father of history’’,
said "a man who does not know anything about the events that took place
before he or she was born will remain forever a child.’’
Not only was
he right but one must go a step further by saying that those who refuse to
learn from their history are condemned to repeating its mistakes.
In 1957, Sir
Ahmadu Bello, the Saurdana of Sokoto and the Premier of the North, said the
following: "We the people of the north will continue our stated intention
to conquer the south and to dip the koran in the Atlantic ocean after the
British leave our shores."
Three years
later, on 12 th October 1960, he went a step further by saying the following
words to the Parrot Newspaper: “The new nation called Nigeria should be an
estate of our great grandfather Uthman Dan Fodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a
change of power. We must use the minorities in the North as willing tools and
the South as a conquered territory and never allow them to rule over us and
never allow them to have control over their future”.
That same year
he said: "I will allow Sir Tafawa Balewa to go and become Prime Minister
and lead the unbelievers of the south whilst I will stay in the north and lead
the faithful".
One year
later, in a television interview with the BBC (which can still be viewed on
Youtube) he was asked whether his ''northernisation policy'' would be a
temporary or permanent feature. His response was as follows.
''In actual
fact the policy is a northerner first. If you cannot get a northerner then you
get an expatriate like yourself on contract. If we cannot get that then we will
employ another Nigerian from the south on contract too. This is going to be a
permanent policy as far as I forsee''.
Not to be
outdone, in January 1947 on the floor of the Northern House of Assembly, Sir
Tafawa Balewa, a man that was to become the first Prime Minister of Nigeria 13
years later, said the following words:
“We do not
want our Southern neighbours to interfere in our development. We have never
associated ourselves with the activities of these people. We do not know them,
we do not recognise them, and we share no responsibility in their actions. We
shall demand our rights when the time is ripe. If the British quit Nigeria now
at this stage, the Northern people would continue their uninterrupted conquest
to the sea”.
The passion
for the total domination of the Nigerian state by the north has not in any way
diminished over the years. As a matter of fact it appears to have become even
more pronounced and, for some, it has become an obsession. Consider the
following.
On 2nd October
2014, one Aliyu Gwarzo said the following to Point Blank news:
”When I say
that the Presidency must come to the north next year I am referring to the
Hausa-Fulani core north and not any northern christian or minority tribe. The
Christians in the north are nothing and the minorities know that when we are
talking about leadership in the north and in Nigeria, Allah has given it to us,
the Hausa-Fulani. They owe us everything. This is because we gave them Islam
through the great Jihad waged by Sheik Usman Dan Fodio. We liberated all these
places and all these people by imposing islam on them by force. It was either
the Koran or the sword and most of them chose the Koran. In return for the good
works of our forefathers Allah, through the British, gave us Nigeria to rule
and to do with as we please. Since 1960 we have been doing that and we intend
to continue. No Goodluck or anyone else will stop us from taking back our power
next year. We will kill, maim, destroy and turn this country into Africa’s
biggest war zone and refugee camp if they try it. Many say we are behind Boko
Haram. My answer is what do you expect? We do not have economic power or
intellectual power. All we have is political power and they want to take even
that from us. If they don’t want an ISIS in Nigeria then they must give us back
the Presidency and our political power. Their soldiers are killing our warriors
and our people every day but mark this: even if it takes one hundred years we
will have our revenge. Every Fulani man that they kill is a debt that will be
repaid even if it takes 100 years. The Fulani have very long memories”.
The full text
of Gwarzo's contribution can be read on Pointblanknews or elsewhere. His words
are self-explanatory and they need no further analysis. Thankfully his views do
not represent the thinking of the majority of Hausa Fulani people but he does
speak for a dangerous and vocal minority and his words constitute a clear
statement of intent.
Simply put, it
is his desire to conquer and subjugate southern Nigeria and to restore northern
domination and supremacy in the affairs of our nation in perpetuity.
The quest for
northern domination in the affairs of our country is as old as the hills. It
led to a brutal civil war between 1967 and 1970 in which millions were killed.
It led to pogrom after pogrom and slaughter after slaughter in the north.
It led to a
series of military coups and counter coups. In 1991 it led to a coup by Major
Gideon Orkar which, if it had been successful, would have resulted in the
excision of the core northern states from our country. It led to the annulement
of Chief MKO Abiola’s presidential election of June 12th 1993 which almost
resulted in a second civil war.
It led to the
brutal suppression of the south by General Sani Abacha and the murder, torture,
incarceration and exile of many southern leaders. It led to stiff opposition to
the government of President Olusegun Obasanjo in the north which came in the
guise ''political sharia''.
And finally it
led to it’s most barbaric and hideous expression in the relentless opposition
to the regime of President Goodluck Jonathan which came in the form of Boko
Haram.
Judging from
recent events, with President Buhari now in power it appears that those that
have been lusting for total northern domination for the last 55 years have
finally had their way.
The inability
to think deeply or profoundly is a curse. The inability to read widely and
learn from others is a pitiful and costly affliction. If there were ever a time
for profound thinking and deep and sober reflection when it comes to the
affairs of our nation it is now.
I say this
because only three months after President Buhari has been sworn into office the
power configuration, vis a vis north and south, has resulted in the following
mess.
1. President
of the Federal Republic of Nigeria - north. 2.Senate President- north. 3.
Speaker of the House of Representatives- north. 4. Chief Justice of the
Federation- north. 5. President of the Court of Appeal- north. 6. Chief Justice
of the Federal High Court- north. 7. Secretary to the Federal Government-
north. 8. Chief of Staff to the President- north. 9. Chief of Army Staff-
north. 10. Chief of Air Staff- north. 11. Comptroller General of Customs-
north. 12. Director-General of State Security Services (SSS)- north. 13.
National Security Advisor- north. 14. Director General NIMASA- north. 15.
Chairperson of the Independant Electoral Commission (INEC)- north. 16. Comptroller-General
Immigration- north. 17. Accountant-General of the Federation - north. 18.
Commander of Civil Defence Corps- north. 19. Chief Security Officer to the
President- north. 20. ADC to the President- north. 21. Principal Secretary to
the President- north. 22. Senior Special Assistant to the President on media-
north. 23. Chairman of the EFCC- north. 24. MD Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA)-
north. 25. Head of Service north. 26. DG National Communication Commission
(NCC)- north. 27. Chairman NDLEA- north. 28. CEO AMCON- north.
There is no
gainsaying that this is unacceptable. Some of us warned that this would happen
but we were insulted and lampooned for doing so.
These
appointments are not only lopsided but they are also a manifestation of the
fact that in just three months southern Nigeria has finally been relegated to
being little more than an occupied region and a vassal state.
The people of
the south appear to have been placed in servitude and bondage. Our chains may
be invisible but they are very much there.
The question
must be asked: is Buhari the President of Nigeria or is he the King of the
north? Some have argued that the federal character formula has no place in our
affairs anymore and that merit ought to be the only criteria for government
appointments.
Permit me to
qoute a young man from twitter who responded to that absurd logic rather well
by saying ‘’if federal character isn't important, why is the Vice President
also not from Daura? Educated people should not speak like illiterates’’.
Others have
said that we should wait for the ministerial list and that after that things
would balance out. Again this is absurd logic and those that spout such
convoluted thrash appear to have forgotten the fact that the President is
compelled by law and the constitution to appoint a Minister from every state of
the federation, including each of the southern states.
Whether he is
President of Nigeria or King of the north Buhari would do well to retrace his
steps. The consequences of not doing so for both his government and the unity
of our country will be grave and costly.
The south
cannot be subjugated and treated with contempt and the people of the south will
never be slaves. Fairness and equity in the distribution of national resources
and key government appointments are a fundamental pre-requisite for peace,
security and national unity in our country.
It has served
our collective interest well for many years. Those that seek to upset the
applecart and jettison it today are not considering the inevitable and monumental
consequences of their actions.
Power may have
returned to the north but the people of the south must be treated with respect,
sensitivity, dignity, fairness and decency. Those that refuse to accept this
counsel and that insist on charting a different course do so at their own
peril.

Wonders of
Ogbunigwe Missile during Biafra war
Wonders Of The Biafran War Tech (ogbunigwe) by Ikengawo:
8:25am On Mar 07, 2011 3 Decades after, military engineer chronicles wonders of
Biafran Ogbunigwe (missile) By VINCENT UKPONG KALU Sunday, March 6, 2011 Dr.
Felix Oragwu is a nuclear physicist and the arrowhead of the scientific and
technological innovations that sustained secessionist Biafra during the thirty
months of the Nigerian civil war. While many records have been made of the
bloody struggle, there has not been much attempt to chronicle in details the
scientific and technological feat that took place in Biafra. advertisement
Advertisement To fill that gap, Oragwu decided to provide that missing link by
writing the book, Scientific and Technological Innovations in Biafra: The
Ogbunigwe Fame 1967 – 1970. Ogbunigwe, the deadly mass destruction missile that
made the federal troop jittery, was a product of the scientific feat of Biafra.
Oragwu revealed how the Biafran scientists were assembled and how the name
ogbunigwe was coined. The author, in an interview with Saturday Sun, informed
that the book basically deals with two major things – the ability of a nation
in the development of science and technology and an instrument for the economic
and industrial development of a country.
The book was supposed to have come
out in the 1970s, but couldn’t because of the heightened emotions then. How
ogbunigwe was invented Between late July and early September 1967, it was
reported that Biafra enjoyed air superiority over Nigeria by mere possession of
an old 1939-1945 war vintage B.26 Bomber. One early September morning in 1967,
the old B.26 was, as usual, primed for action at the Enugu airport, where the
bomber was normally stationed preparatory for its routine bombing trips on
military targets in Nigeria. A Bofor ground to anti-aircraft gun located near
the Enugu Airport defended the airport and the bomber. The primed B.26 bomber
was ready to take off, at about 0630 hours on that fateful day to Nigeria, when
suddenly there appeared a fast moving, low flying Russian MIG 15 Jet fighter,
over the Enugu Airport and Biafra airspace for the first time since the war
began. No member of the Science and Technology (S&T) Group before this
incident had witnessed a MIG Jet fighter in action. The MIG jet fighter
promptly attacked the airport and deflated the tyres of B.26 bomber, thereby
immobilizing the vital warhorse. “Later in the evening of that eventful day,
the Commander of Biafra Air Force, after recovering from the shock and
humiliation of the morning incident, summoned his officers, including the
commander of Biafra Army engineers and some leading members of the S&T
Group to the Enugu Airport for advice on the matter and what to do to bring
down the low flying MIG jet fighter without the ground-to-air anti-craft guns.
“The Air Force commander, in shaking voice, informed the small group assembled
of the MIG 15 Jet incidence of that morning and the implications for Biafra
short-lived air superiority over Nigeria.” With the emergence of MIG jet
fighters in the federal troops’ arsenal, the use of B26 bomber, says the
author, had come to an end.
The ‘Bofor’ gun at the Enugu
Airport had become irrelevant against fast moving low flying jet fighters.
Therefore, he sought for what could be done to contain the jet fighters and
maintain the morale of the Biafran troops and the population at large. “In the
course of the deliberations, a number of suggestions were made. The most viable
was to find a mechanism for sending up debris, dust, small pebbles and the like
in the path of the flying jet fighters in the hope that these dust particles
could be sucked in by the jet fighters to impede its propulsion, asphyxiate and
bring the jet fighters down. The question was what type of mechanism could be
produced easily and quickly in Biafra to accomplish the task. “To utilize this
scientific principle in throwing up the debris in the path of a fast flying Jet
fighter, the S&T-Group had to solve two problems. The first was the
rotation of the debris in the bucket to set up laminar flow without allowing
the latter to spin, the second was to generate such a recoil that the reaction
to the recoil could impart sufficient energy to the rotated debris to rise far
beyond the rooftops and spread the contents over a large air space.
An engineer member of the S&T
Group called William Achukwu, Agricultural Engineer, volunteered to design and
fabricate a metallic bucket-like system for the trials. “A series of trial
tests with varying masses (light materials) and sizes of the debris
respectively, depending on the mass/sizes of the debris, gave excellent results
achieving heights of 30-1000 feet (10-30 meters) respectively depending on the
mass/sizes of the debris. The Air Force commander, the military personnel present,
and members of the S&T Group present who witnessed the feat achieved, were
very excited and went into jubilation. Most people were convinced that the new
mechanism was an answer to the jet fighters, and the S&T Group was directed
to produce many of the devices to be used not only at the airports but also as
air defense cover at various Biafran troop locations. The name Ogbunigwe “In
October 1967, the federal troops, having captured and secured Enugu, the
capital of Biafra were on their way to Awka and Onitsha, the commercial nerve
centre of Biafra, through the old Enugu-Awka-Onitsha road. The well armed,
heavily equipped federal troops, with their superior fire power, encountered a
battalion of poorly equipped, out-gunned and virtually exhausted Biafran troops
at the Ugwuoba Bridge, few kilometers into Awka. However the Biafran troops had
on hand some of their air defence dust mines. Unable to withstand the superior
firepower of the federal troops, they began to run for their dear lives
carrying along with them their air defence ‘mines’. Their resourceful commander
(whose name has escaped my memory) ordered them back and commanded them to
place the air defence mines horizontally rather than vertically as designed and
fire them on the approaching federal troops to see what would happen and
thereafter run for their dear lives. The command was promptly carried out.
Indeed, the federal troops could
not understand what hit them. The effect of the horizontal detonation of the
air defense dust mines was very devastating leading to loss of many federal
troops, as well loss of large quantities of arms and ammunitions some of which
got completely burnt. The devastation was, indeed, very extensive particularly
in the unintended loss of military personnel, some of who died from the shock
waves generated by the unexpected explosions. The mass of water, from the river
below the bridge, was thrown up and widely spread by the generated waves, thus
adding to the trauma of the advancing troops. “The following morning some members
of the S&T Group were summoned to Ugwuoba Bridge by the military to help
explain the new phenomenon and what really had happened to make the air defense
dust mines accomplish what they did. Meanwhile, the people of Amansi Awka, the
neighbouring village, were called out to the scene to help in burying the dead.
An elderly man from Amansi Awka on
seeing the large number of dead soldiers along the bridge exclaimed in Igbo:
“ogbuefa n’igwe” (the dust mine had killed them in masses or massively). That
was how the otherwise anti-aircraft “Air Dust Mine” got its name ogbunigwe
(mass killer) and the S&T Group came to be referred to by the generality of
the Biafra public as ogbunigwe people. “Arising from the Ugwuoba incident, a
device designed and fabricated as an anti aircraft dust mine had suddenly
become useful as a ground-to-ground weapon with devastating impact beyond
imagination. Its new mode of deployment provided Biafra with additional
ammunitions. This incident vindicated the adage “that necessity is the mother
of invention.” *The book was presented in Lagos yesterday.
