Nigerian DSS Arrest Nnamdi Kanu on October 2015 ./ Protest around the World Part two (2)

Nigerian DSS  Arrest Nnamdi Kanu- the Director of Radio Biafra and Commander In Chief of the Biafra Armed Forces
Commander Nnamdi Kanu-the IPOB Chief worldwide

THE UNTOLD: hOW BUHARI SHUTOUT EKWEREMMADU FROM ASO ROCK MEETING LAST NIGHT.

BY NEWSPUNCH ON OCTOBER 8, 2015.
BREAKING NEWS,
Post Nigeria –
President Muhammadu Buhari Wednesday night, shut out Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu from
participating in a closed door meeting held at the Conference Hall of the First’s Lady Office in the
Presidential Villa.
The Senate President, Bukola Saraki and Speaker of House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, led other
principal officers of the National Assembly to meet with Buhari.
It was not clear what the agenda of the meeting was, but it was not unconnected with the ministerial
lists submitted to the Senate for screening and confirmation by the upper legislative chamber.
JOB OPPORTUNITY HERE FOR UNEMPLOYED. EARN IN DOLLARS ON DAILY BASIS
Ekweremadu, who was elected on June 9, is of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, which has
49 senators while the All Progressives Congress, APC, has a slim majority with 60 senators, was the only
principal officer left out of the meeting.
The Minority Leader of the Senate and the Senate Minority Whip, Godswill Akpabio and Philip Tanimu
Aduda of the PDP were in attendance.
It would be recalled that Ekweremadu caused an upset when he led all PDP senators to team up with
eight APC senators on inauguration day to elect Saraki Senate President against Ahmed Lawal who was
nominated by the ruling party to occupy the seat.
For his effort in the installation of Saraki, Ekweremadu was elected deputy senate president, a position
he had previously occupied for eight years when his party had the majority.
Nearly the same scenario played out in the House of Representatives where PDP helped Dogara defeat
his party’s chosen candidate for the post, Femi Gbajabiamila.
The National Publicity Secretary of the APC had on June 10 queried that how can Buhari hold a meeting
Ekweremadu in a situation where the Senate President is absent, since the President and Ike
Ekweremadu are not from the same party.
He had stated that the PDP which was supposed to play a credible opposition in the 8th Assembly has
hijacked the assembly, stressing that the PDP’s lawmaker was poised to be a clog in the wheel of
progress, to the desired change Nigerians yearn for, through the APC.
Records indicate that the ruling APC are still miffed that Ekweremadu emerged as the deputy Senate
President and had vowed never to allow “a senator from a minority party take over the duties statutorily
assigned for the majority party.”
Earlier, a source close to the presidency explained that Ekweremadu as deputy senate president would
hamper Buhari’s administration.
“As deputy senate president, Ekweremadu is automatically the Chairman, Senate Committee on
Constitution Amendment. This is a sensitive position that, statutorily, should not be held by the minority.
“Ekweremadu and his PDP co-travellers will hamper the policies of the Buhari government. By the virtue
of Senate rules, a member of the minority is not supposed to be the deputy senate leader; so, he is
occupying the post illegally.
Sensing the danger in allowing the PDP holds such a sensitive position, some APC senators demanded
for the immediate resignation of Ekweremadu.
But the PDP swiftly responded and rebuffed the APC senators, insisting that Ekweremadu’s emergence is
constitutional and cannot be reversed.
According to the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Olisah Metuh : “As you may know, the APC leaders
have not hidden their bitterness and resentment towards Senator Ekweremadu whose offence is the
privilege of being elected by his colleagues (APC and PDP senators alike) as Deputy Senate President in
line with the Standing Rules of the Senate and the provisions of the Constitution of the Federal Republic
of Nigeria.
“Since President Muhammadu Buhari’s statement that Senator Ekweremadu’s election was ‘unacceptable’ to his party, the Deputy Senate President, who can only be removed by the Senate has
come under threats and intense pressure from APC leaders to resign and allow a senator from the ruling
party to take his position.’’
Accompanying Saraki were Senate Leader, Mohammed Ali Ndume, his deputy, Bala Ibn Na’Allah.
Accompanying Dogara were his deputy, Yusuf Suleiman Lasun and House Leader, Femi Gbajabiamila.

Kanu (JP) , Egwu Ukwu ll of Afara ukwu’s palace have been surrounded by the Nigerian Military.
The royal Prince has been under arrest by the Nigerian authorities even when he met the conditions of the Court that granted him a bail.
Unlike the leader of the Islamist grouo Boko haram, Sheikh Shekau who is a terrorist, there was no report of the military laying siege near his house or his village for that matter.
We are appealing to President Buhari to call his overzealous Military chiefs to order. As far as
Nigerian and International law is concern, Nnamdi Kanu has not committed any crime and if he actually does, there are loads of court in the country to charge him accordingly. The idea of holding the whole town hostage is unconstitutional and provocative. There have never been any report of any violence or lawlessness associated to Mr Kanu or the over 6
million of his supporters that throng the streets of the country since last week. There is no wisdom for President Buhari to use Nigerian Military to intimidate innocent people, while some Local government authorities in the North East are overrun and still under the control of the terrorists Boko Haram.
It’s on record that the Nigerian Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadiq Abubakar on Thursday, read the riot act to those calling for the restoration of Biafra. He added that the military has the responsibility to restore order when called upon to do so by the President and Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammadu Buhari. The implication of this, according to him, is that troops have to use necessary force to crush Biafrans. I hope the international community are taking note of the atrocities been committed in Biafranland by Mohammadu Buhari led government.
Fellow Biafrans ,lovers of freedom, this is the time to show this contraption called Nigeria that we are their backbone ,we urge everybody to boycott the super eagle March going to be held tomorrow 17th November 2015 in Calabar ,we must mobilized our people to boycott this football match with kingdom of Swaziland

IPOB Unarmed member shot by Nig army
On Sunday November 1, 2015 not less than 182 certified members of the dreaded bokoharam group was again released and re-absorbed into the Nigeria armed forces. The ceremony took place in the Maimalari barracks Maiduguri,Borno state, north east Islamic republic of Nigeria, and all their ranks and uniform was fully restored. The spokesman to the joint intelligence Islamic Nigeria Army,Colonel Sani Usman said it was part of army day, which was held on July 6, to commemorate Nigeria civil war first shot at Garakun,Cross River state Biafraland. The Tribune newspapers reported his promise to "release more bokoharam fighters soon".
There is no gain saying that Buhari government upon inception as sole administrator of islamic republic of Nigeria has released without trial not less than 600 bokoharam members, with their full military appendages. This dreaded sect is now parading as military and police officers all over Biafraland. They have sworn allegiance to ISIS that has just struck mayhem in France. They even mentioned Nigeria in their latest video, against the backdrop of their conspiracy with Buhari government to Islamize Biafra.(Google- Abuja declaration) The world can now imagine what Biafra for over 100yrs have endured in this contraption called Nigeria. Bokoharam now in Armed forces of Nigeria have been directed by Buhari to occupy Biafra land. Some as herdsmen, destroying crops and economic trees, raping women, and slaughtering unsuspecting Biafran at night in their dwelling places, at noon in their farms; others in army and police uniform shooting live ammunition, firing canisters and other dangerous substances to peaceful IPOB protesters. The IPOB families are now target for killing .The Biafraherald can report reliably that Buhari has directed Nigeria Armed forces to launch military attack on IPOB peaceful protester. This military offensive if executed as planned would be the worst single mass killing of Biafrans since the Biafra genocide of 1967-1970 in which Buhari and Nigeria murdered over 3.5 million Biafra men, women and children.

Nigerian Army waiting for unarmed protesters
In the words of our Elders “the people that demonstrated were from ages of 40yrs downwards. The war ended 40yrs ago, that gives you, without much thinking the type of people we are talking about. These were children, half of them were born in Biafra at the time, and their birth certificate say they were Biafra citizens. They exited the country as Biafrans. Now as adults as far as they are concerned, WHERE IS BIAFRA?
THE Arewa consultative forum, an Islamic Nigeria socio-political group has also supported Buhari to carry on with the military attack on innocent Biafrans.  Alhaji mohammadu Ibrahim the spokesperson of the organization in a press statement said "the peaceful activities of the pro-Biafra group could cause a civil war in the country if unchecked" It should be noted that the protesters are Biafrans who were born during and after the war and does not know Nigeria. Nigeria is an Islamic nation while Biafra christians. We do not eat same food, or wear same dress. Islamic Nigerians strap bombs in their body and aim always at destruction of lives and properties. Biafrans value the sanctity of life. Why should Buhari keep unleashing mayhem on Biafrans? Why is Buhari releasing bokoharam armed forces to Biafraland while incarcerating Biafra leader Nnamdi Kanu and others in his private underground cell? The creator of Nigeria Mr. Fedrick Lugard said Nigeria is totally incompatible; Arewa,Oduduwa, and Biafra is like" oil and water that cannot mix". Why is Nigeria army ambushing and killing innocent protesting Biafra youths demanding for self determination?
B families are now target for killing .The Biafraherald can report reliably that Buhari has directed Nigeria Armed forces to launch military attack on IPOB peaceful protester. This military offensive if executed as planned would be the worst single mass killing of Biafrans since the Biafra genocide of 1967-1970 in which Buhari and Nigeria murdered over 3.5 million Biafra men, women and children.

However, our ancestors have laid down their lives and Nigeria Islamic armies are killing IPOB agitators. By laying down their lives in what is definitely a part of the struggle for our collective freedom they leave for us a legacy, a legacy which we are prepared to uphold. It's heartbreaking that our leader Nnamdi kanu, and over 180 other Biafra people are in detention for exercising their human rights, and some have their lives snuffed out of them in most brutal circumstances by Islamic jihadists in Nigeria armed forces. While Buhari is releasing bokoharam in droves, absorbing them in armed forces with mandate to attack Biafrans. The attack in onitsha,Awka,Asaba,Portharcourt, umuahia,Enugu,Yenegoa,Aba is an inglorious destruction orchestrated by Buhari. Many resulted in death, and some in permanent injuries. We protest to show our detest for Nigeria. One Nigeria means our perpetual slavery. It denies us basic rights. It perpetuates nepotism, evil, bribery and lunatic governance. It postpone political freedom, Biafra struggle is the only available revolution to effect freedom of our people and restoration of our land. We call on IPOB worldwide to heed this call and shun complacency. Together shall we stand the ZERO hour as we dedicate ourselves to the defense of our territory.

The Coalition of Arewa Youth Development Foundations (AYDF) has said it is planning a meeting aimed at mounting pressure on Igbos residing or carrying out business in any part of the North to relocate to the South-east and all Northerners residing in the South-east should return back to the north, and they have two weeks to comply.

The coalition of Northern youths explained that its action is necessitated by the renewed threat of secession by Igbo secessionist group which is being backed by some of their governments and leaders by humiliating and harassing petty Northern traders and others residents in the South-east.
The Coalition also urged the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) and the Northern Elders Forum (NEF) to as a matter of urgency act quickly by taking a position on the humiliation of northerners in the hands of Igbo Biafra in parts of the South-east geo-political zone and their governments.

The group, in a letter jointly signed by Barr. Aliyu Usman of AYDF, Hon. Aminu Adams Arewa Citizens Action for Change(ACAC) Bridget Cantiop Yahya Northern Emancipation Network (NEN), Comrade Yusuf Muhammed of Arewa Students Forum (ASF) and Terkular J.Bishama. Of Arewa Youth vanguard (AYV), and made available to newsmen in Kaduna, said towards this end, it would soon convey a meeting of all northern youth groups in Kano to review the commitment of Northern leaders and actions on their previous communication in respect of the agitation by the Igbos.

“On the 16th of July 2014, a coalition of over 50 northern youth groups matched to the palace of the Emir of Kano under the aegis of Arewa Youth Development Foundation and submitted a position paper in reaction to the humiliation of northerners in the East by the Igbo Biafras and their state governments,” the statement noted.

He went on to say that everything humanly possible must be done to ensure that , he went on to say, that if we lost millions during the war, without getting Biafra, we should be ready to sacrifice more millions in order to restore Biafra, because, Biafra is our ,,Promise Land,, and our only hope for ,,Survival as a people, and the earlier our people understand this the better for all of us, he said.

Biafrans In Germany protesting, in front of British consulate in Dusseldorf , handed an official letter to the government of David Cameron, calling for immediate and unconditional release of their leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu
After yesterday's night broadcast as one of the saboteurs called radio Biafra telling us on how to fight the zoo Nigeria force that are holding AK47 with bottle filled with fuel smacking it and then through it at them. He also said that we should stop calling the zoo president names like the pidophile buhari and the dullard of daura which is what he is of course. My fellow Biafrans we must be strong and resolute knowing that we have won this battle on the media which was the areas they have been using to divide and rule us. We will never be bought with any amount of money any more this time around because the only thing that matters must to us now is the release of our director. Nnamdi kanu and other Biafrans kidnapped by the Nigeria DSS, and the restoration of Biafra land. Let's know that any information or article that is not in the favour of our Biafra freedom is false information prepared to divide us again. Remember, our director Nnamdi kanu said about all these will come to past but at the end Biafra will come.
Long live the people of Biafra land.

God bless Biafra land.
DSS Deceived Abuja Federal High Court – Kanu’s lawyer

 20 November 2015
Ogechukwu Obetta is lawyer to Nnamdi Kanu, Director of Radio Biafra and leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). In this interview he tells how far the trial of his client has gone. He equally exposed how the Department of State Security (DSS) succeeded in lying to Federal High Court in Abuja, thereby obtaining a “Kangaroo” ex-parte motion against his client.

We just heard that the DSS secretly obtained a court order to detain Nnamdi Kanu for 90 days in order to investigate his case. Are you aware of this development? Is it true?
Yes, I am aware. I was the one that broke the news, because yesterday in the court the prosecutor served me a counter affidavit, and in that counter affidavit was an annexure, and that annexure was an order of Federal High Court, which he got through an ex-parte motion. It was an ex-parte motion permitting the DSS to detain Nnamdi Kanu for the next three months, to enable it to conclude what they said was an investigation of terrorism and terrorism financing. (The DSS obtained the ex-parte motion from Alfa Ademola’s court).
So what are your thoughts concerning the new DSS move?
We have already filed contempt proceedings against the DSS. We have already filed it because the fact remains that we had three court orders which the DSS refused to obey. All those orders I got them personally. They were orders from the magistrate court, and we got them earlier before they (DSS) went to the Federal High Court to get their order.
So the logical reasoning there is that they went and deceived the Federal High Court. They didn’t tell the Federal High Court the truth concerning the case. They didn’t bring before the Federal High Court the fact that there was already a Court Order already in existence. So they hid it and got that 90 days order.
So we have already resumed the process of setting it aside.

Many Biafrans are troubled that your client was not brought to court yesterday. Others are even sad and pained, and I don’t know what you can say to that?
Anyway it is not just Biafrans alone that are troubled, Nigerians are waging tongues as to why Nnamdi Kanu was not brought to court yesterday. Maybe because it goes against the rule of natural justice and also offends the rule of law as well, which presupposes that everybody is equal before the law?
So the reaction of members of IPOB is also not different from the reaction of ordinary Nigerians, because the law is so clear as to when somebody is being put on trial. The new Administrative of Criminal Justice (ACJ) Act of 2015, stipulates in section 2: 66 that at all material times an accused person being tried in court must be present in court to witness his trial.
Although the law says there are exceptions. The exceptions could come in this form: If in a previous trial, the accused person had conducted himself in an unruly manner, then the court can say “don’t bring him, you can leave him and let’s go on”. But in Nnamdi’s case, he has not been to court. He has just been brought to court only the day he was granted bail; and he has not conducted himself in any manner that could be described as misconduct. So in that bases, we brought to the attention of the court that the court cannot continue with any trial unless Nnamdi Kanu is brought to court.
It is a legal matter, it is not a sentimental matter. It is a condition; a precedence that a court must observe. When an accused is being tried, he (the accused) must be there to witness his trial. Once it is not there, and it does not fall under the two exceptions of ACJ, then court cannot go on. So when we brought that to the judge, he said the trial cannot go on unless he is brought to court.
Some people are really expressing fears, afraid that he might even not be alive right now; that they have killed him. Well I know that there is no speculation in law, but then many of these people are not lawyers. What can you say to that?
Well, the truth remains that I was with Nnamdi Kanu last Wednesday (November 11) and he was hail and healthy. Then I also spoke with the prosecution in court yesterday (November 18). Remember what we are doing is legal matter, we are not quarrelling; we are not fighting. So the prosecution spoke with me yesterday. We exchanged pleasantries, and he never gave me any impression or inkling that Nnamdi Kanu is dead or sick.
This evening also, (November 19) just about 20 minutes ago, I also spoke with the Director of Legal SSS, that is the head of the prosecution, I was talking to him about my client and he gave me all the answers I needed. He did not give me any idea that my client, Nnamdi Kanu is either sick or dead. So, to the extent of my knowledge, Nnamdi Kanu is healthy and is bouncing very well. He is not dead.

What is your greatest challenge so far in handling this case? Are you experiencing any challenge at all?
The challenge I have is that as a lawyer, what I was taught and what I have practiced over the years is that once there is a particular situation, and you found a solution that applies to that situation, the judge will give you your judgment.
The challenge I have now is that I have applied the law to the situation at hand, and the judge has given me three judgments. But executive have not been able to implement it, simply because the implementing agency is the one that is disobeying the law. We have asked the court to do something for us, and the court, in applying the law, gave us judgment - it made the first order, the second other, and the third order. Three orders, and it is supposed to be implemented by the DSS, but the DSS has flagrantly disobeyed these orders. So that is the only challenge I have.
I don’t have issues with the judiciary because the judiciary has been applying the law the way it is. The problem we have is with the prosecution that has refused to apply or obey the law. They have obeyed the law in breach, contrary to the rule of law, and then the rule of natural justice.

We got this information that there was a disagreement between you and another lawyer on who is Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer. Do you have any comment on that?
My comment on that is that I was surprised to see the kind of drama that played out in court yesterday. The surprise I got is that the same lawyer knows that I have been briefed and he saw the letter that was given to me by the Deputy Director of IPOB (Uche Mefor), who gave me letter on behalf of IPOB people. In addition to that, and to cap it up with the confidence they reposed in me, father of the accused, His Royal Highness Okwu Kanu, also used his palace letter-head to give me appointment, thereby supporting the retainer-ship that was given to me by the IPOB.
So, when that colleague came out and reacted, I did not want to go into it because I saw it as a professional affair. I want to assure you that it is going to be resolved amicably.
But the problem here is that people do not understand the way this thing is going. Why I don’t need to quarrel with any lawyer about this case because I am doing it Pro Bono – that is I am giving my legal services free! So even if we have hundred lawyers joining us, we do it together because I am not threatened that somebody is coming to share the money I am going to get. I should not be bothered because I didn’t charge any legal fee. I am doing it as a human right activist. I am doing it in defence of democracy and in defence of the rule of law. So I want to get it clear; to let the world to know that I am doing this job Pro Bono, so I don’t need to quarrel with any lawyer because that lawyer is not coming to do anything that will affect me.
However, I am doing so in the spirit that that anybody that is coming to work with me, or that wants to join me, would be a man that has integrity – somebody who I can also trust. This is because this matter is a sensitive matter that if I bring somebody that I do not trust and begins to leak things, it will affect my own integrity. There are lots of pressures coming from different interest groups, including the group that my client comes from, trying to puncture what we are doing. So if you bring in somebody you don’t trust and the person gets to sale-out, you won’t know what to do because all of you will be counted as one of those who have sabotaged the effort.
That is why I am very careful in doing what I am doing. I am not against him because I want to make money, because I didn’t charge money; I am doing it free of charge.
We are going to resolve the issue as professionals. This is not the first time this kind of issue has arisen. It has happened in the case of Abiola, when he was incarcerated in 1993. GOK Ajayi came and fronted himself as the man to represent Abiola. Then FRA Williams, of blessed memory, also came to say that he had been briefed by Abiola. Then the matter was resolved when Abiola came to court on that fateful day and said that his lawyer was GOK Ajayi. Chief FRA Williams took his wig and left. It has happened in so many cases in history. Sometimes, when cases like this come up you could have many family interests at work that when one family is projecting one another family is projecting another. But all these things are family affairs that would be resolved before the next adjournment.
Do you have any other issue you want to mention?

What I want to say now is to enjoin all the supporters of my client to continue in the way they are going. They have had protests in Enugu, Asaba, Owerri, Port Harcout, Aba, and different other cities without the molestation of other members of society. I want to enjoin them to remain law abiding. What we are seeing is to be expected. Judiciary is a very slow wheel, it moves slowly but it will finally get to its destination. So they should remain law abiding and respect both those who believe in what they are doing and those who do not. Thank you

NNAMDI KANU HEADS TO COURT:
MATTERS ARISING
By Ifeanyi Chijioke (For Family Writers)
Today being 18th of November, the leader of indigenous people of Biafra will be presented before the magistrate court in Abuja on yet to be known charges. Questions will trickle in as to what will be the fate of Nnamdi Kanu hence Nigerian court is judging a man perceived to be an enemy to them. Has Nigeria the moral right to judge Nnamdi Kanu?

Will the same court that issued an order and its order was trampled on by Buhari and DSS do more than they have done? If Buhari is greater than a competent court of law then what will be the fate of the proceedings? It's clear the case will continue receiving adjournment to tactically orchestrate means to hurt the leader of indigenous people of Biafra.
The Nigerian government has shown no sign of respect for the law nor the human right of the people of Biafra. In spite of the sustained and massive protests that had crippled the eastern part of Nigeria, the government has
only promised to use soldiers and engage peaceful protesters instead of solving the problem, in some quarters it is believed it's a call for an all out massacre of Biafrans and while exercising right to self-defense could lead to another civil war. Meanwhile, today's court will make or mal the already deteriorating scenario of the matter, if the case is handled cautiously and all protocols
observed then it would go a long way calming the tension but if Nigerian government should toe the part of negligence to rule of law, which would kill the hope of legal resolution, it would however spark a more fierce demonstration
and the time bomb will explode.
Everybody will pay the price of illegality and negligence but it's up to Nigerians and Biafrans to oppose Buhari who had before now shown disrespect to the lives
of Nigerians and Biafrans when he promised monkey and baboon
will be soaked in blood and in 2011 ordered killing of people through motivated post election violence.
Jonathan’s men sponsoring pro-Biafran protests–Group

A pan-Igbo group, The Igbo Conscience, says some former political office holders who served in the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan were behind the Biafran revolt.
The TIC said this was why the protests gained momentum immediately after Jonathan was defeated at the poll.
The leader of the group, Mr. Monday Ubani, who is a former Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ikeja branch, said this at a news conference in Lagos on Wednesday.
Ubani noted that during Jonathan’s administration, many Igbo politicians were given juicy appointments.
He, however, added that the appointments did not improve the standard of living of the people of the South-East.
He said, “As recently as six months ago, the Igbo occupied and boasted of occupying prime positions in the country during the six years of President Jonathan’s rule. Why is it that immediately after the defeat of the past regime in March, the cries of Igbo marginalisation rose to high heavens with slanderous allegations against the President-elect?
“What were the merits the Ndigbo derived from this much-vaunted strategic placing in critical positions for six years? Should the Igbo be crying of marginalisation just a few months after sitting on the upper echelons of the country’s political and economic spheres if these political beneficiaries benefitted the Ndigbo with their positions?
“Should roads and other facilities in the South-East be as dilapidated as they are today if we benefitted from these former office holders, some of whom are sponsoring the present agitations?”
Ubani said many Igbo youths had been brainwashed into believing that secession was the only way to address national problems.
He said even the late leader of the defunct Republic of Biafra, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, said that the Biafran struggle was a “struggle of the mind and not a physical one.”
He noted that countries like Pakistan and South Sudan, which seceded from India and Sudan respectively, had not fared better even after attaining independence.
He, therefore, urged the protesting youths to have a rethink.
Ubani said the philosophy of the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra was at variance with Ojukwu’s and that was why the late Igbo leader never identified with MASSOB.
He said the Director of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, was an impostor and did not have the interests of the Igbo at heart.

BIAFRA AND BRITAIN: THE ONLY ACCEPTABLE APOLOGY.
By Osita Ebiem
A lot of calls are going on today for Britain and other countries such as Russia, Egypt and even the United States of America to finally own up to the roles they played in the Biafra Genocide of 1966 to 1970.People of conscience of this world are calling for these countries to formally tender official and unreserved apology for their criminal acts of commission or criminal negligence in that sordid and shameful part of our (the world's) collective past.It was a time in the history of the world when the big peoples of the world came together in criminal connivance and senselessly murdered 3.1 million Igbo/Biafrans.
It was a time when all the responsible powers of the world chose to do everything wrong either by being baselessly too angry against a weak part of the human race or inexcusably too unperturbed about the sufferings of others and would not inconvenience themselves to act in an appropriate response.
It was a period in the world's collective time when all people of the world with conscience would wish never existed in the annals of our world history. The world was shamed by its own acts and inactions.
The period between 1966 and 1970 stands out as one of the darkest time in our world's history. In that space of time the world got divided into five clear groups. In the first group was the Victim: Biafra.
Then those that actively supported and directly murdered the Victim: Nigeria, Britain, Russia, Egypt, Cameroun and others. Then there were those that did not care about the fate of the Victim, they were indifferent: USA, United Nations, African Union and others. And there were those who actively supported and helped the Victim; Tanzania, Zambia, Haiti, Gabon, Ivory Coast, World Council of Churches, Caritas, some individuals and others. And finally there were those who were either too self-conscious to openly and completely identify with the Victim, they were just undecided or only halfheartedly concerned about what happened to the Victim: France, Israel, Ghana and others. Everyone in the world then fell into one of these groups and it becomes necessary today as we review that time of history that each group should honestly and soberly acknowledge the role they played and say sorry and be remorseful or just say; thank God we did the right thing.
Looking back at the images of that time in history, the Victim; Biafra's children and their mothers became the worst spectacle example of the human race.
The image created became an eternal scathing accusation and haunting specter on humanity's conscience. Humanity at that point in time came to judgment and fell short completely, it failed itself.
Between 1966 and 1970, our collective humanity could not live up to that thing that makes us humans. From 1966 to 1970 almost the entire humanity displayed a level of callousness and insensitivity that reduced it to the level of the beast.
The world was given a chance to choose at a critical moment and it made one of its worst choices ever. And between 1966 and 1970 much of the human race chose to kill off a significant portion of itself.
From 1966 to 1970 humanity committed in Biafra one of the worst human disasters of all time and for no good reason continues to maintain the most unprecedented level of remorseless stance about it.
In these countries which played central roles in perpetrating this crime the silence or forgetfulness has reached a deafening pitch that one cannot help asking what hope has the world got if it could forget or sweep such open and heinous atrocity under its carpet indefinitely.
Because of the special position that Great Britain occupies in Nigeria's history, Britain was Nigeria's colonial rulers; when Biafra Nigeria War happened between 1966 and 1970, the role that was expected of Britain to play was that of the impartial arbiter. They should not have taken sides. But they actually took sides.
They took the side of Nigeria against Biafra even when they saw clearly the unjustness and the arrogant aggression of the Nigerian state.
Britain knew clearly what they were getting into. No one on the side of Britain can plead partial knowledge of the details of the various aspects of the problem that was taking place.
Neither would Britain claim imperfect comprehension of the implications nor the various ramifications of the far reaches of the effects of the decisions they took at the time.
So the British Government of Harold Wilson and by extension that of today's Cameron accepted the burden of guilt of their decision before even taking it. To them it was a matter of; we will go ahead and do what we got to do and we can deal with the mess later on.
Although Britain had just officially left Nigeria on independence in 1960 but as at the time Biafra's situation was developing, only five, six years into independence, they were still very well entrenched in almost all the daily running of the new country. So Britain understood completely what was going on and was expected to have acted differently.
Unfortunately they did not. They made a mistake, a huge mistake; they helped, as a very major partner, to kill 3.1 million Igbo/Biafrans.
Some people are asking; could it be that Britain did not expect such a huge mess of so many deaths and destruction? That is very doubtful because, for the first time humanity was confronted with television images of starving and skeletal kwashiorkor children and their mothers.
But as the horrifying images assaulted the sensibilities of the decent part of humanity, the British government insisted that the horrendous genocide must go on even at the price of total annihilation of a race of human beings. For Britain then, extermination of Igbo/Biafrans was okay.
Even when a bewildered world unanimously named kwashiorkor sickness that was ravaging Biafra's children and their mothers after the Prime Minister Harold Wilson as Harold Wilson Disease, the Biafra Pogrom was expedient for Great Britain and must go on.
Britain understood the extreme humanitarian crisis they were about to create before getting into it. Every decision and action of the British was deliberate and well calculated ahead of time.
With the fore knowledge of all the implications, Great Britain went ahead and provided the logistics, men and equipment with which to murder unarmed children, women and men of Biafra – 3.5 million of them. Think about it.
We have now established the fact that the British Government, Russia, Egypt and others were aware of what would be the repercussion of their actions ahead of the time of their actual involvement in the Genocide in Biafra but they went ahead and did it anyway. Let us try to look at it from the point of view of history.
Can the hinder sight find somewhere in the mix, which we have overlooked, that exonerates and justifies these nations' actions in Biafra? Let the reader be the judge here.
Be honest about it. In your mind try to place yourself in the position of the Victim, if in honesty the oppressors are justified then let it be. But if crime has been committed then let the guilty pay.
Due to very many complexities involved in human relationship, sometimes it is difficult to carry on actual contact with one another without offences.
So it can almost be argued that as long as humans remain social animals they are bound to offend each other at one time or the other.
This of course is the main reason why most human social systems devise ways to redress or deal with offences that must occur as we interact with each other. In dealing with such things the redresses are devised to reflect the gravity of the offence.
This is proper because we can only expect that heinous crime of premeditated murder should not attract the same punishment as stealing a colleague's lunch out of the common fridge at work.
For the sake of the survival of our human race we cannot afford to take the issue of crime and punishment lightly. Even accidental crimes must not be overlooked and more so deliberate ones.
When inadvertent crimes are properly redressed in societies people tend to be less negligent and more conscious of the impact of their actions on their neighbors. In the overall, crime punishment works well for the good health of the human society.
The next question we would want to ask is who should be punished and should there be different parameter with which to measure crime punishment in accordance with who is involved? For example, should the rich and powerful members of the human society never get punished for crimes or if they ever get punished at all, should they receive less punishment for the same crime as the poor and less privileged members?
Why this question is necessary here is because today Britain, Russia (both are active and direct criminals in the matter under discussion) and United States (a negligent criminal in the matter) are rich, powerful and are all members of the Security Council of the United Nations. It will almost be said that they will be judges in their own case.
But we know that this may not be so after all. In today's world everyone is anxious to promote equity, justice and probity and that includes these three nations.
It becomes inconceivable therefore that they will compromise this opportunity to prove to the rest of the world that they are an active part of a changed and now forward-looking world.
So we are very confident that these countries will now do the right thing about the Biafra Genocide.
The three nations are world leaders and it is expected of them to lead by example; the example of humility and the championing of fairness for all, even for the weak and poor ones like Biafra.
After forty something years the people and nation of Biafra deserve a sincere and unreserved apology from the triune countries, Egypt and others and we know they, all of them, shall do the right thing.
But since we know that the apology is coming, we are now bound to ask what kind of apology should we expect or deserve from these countries? Is it merely a public statement expressing regrets at what they did or did not do during the time to Biafra and her people? Maybe if some conditions were different that would have been adequate.
But in this circumstance and for several reasons, such an apology is grossly inadequate.
So in addition to such public pronouncement, Biafra and her people are saying that the acceptable and near adequate kind of apology that is expected from these erring nations is the reinstatement of the Biafran nation as an independent and sovereign state free from the Nigerian state. That is what the 3.1 million people died for and that is the only apology that Biafra's dead and the living ask from a repentant world..

Go and tell Nigerian government that their billions of dollars will fail them. Aka Chukwu di ya. What we have is truth and truth is God.....No government in this world have ever fight ideology and succeed. The more you kill us, the more strength we gain, the more you jail us the more powerful we become. Biafra is an ideology that no man born by woman can stop. Bullet will not stop us, bombs will not stop us, intimidation can NEVER stop us, Biafra has spiritual undertone that many cant comprehend, Biafra has started possessing its people and there is nothing anybody can do about it . Fighting us is wasting your time and resources, the battle is of more spiritual than physical ..We are resolute and always ready to give our lives for what we believed in. You cannot stop an ideology whose time has come. Is time for Biafrans to go home.
Fr. Mbaka is becoming an enemy of of the people. Whose ever that is against Biafra no matter your position, you are our great enemy. Fr. Mbaka is making himself an enemy of Biafrans and we will not fail to treat him like an enemy.
One of the songs during Biafra million man march says.....
Heaven and earth, watch our hands, we have done nothing wrong, our hands are clean.
The world will be forced to talk about Biafrans...Go and tell Nigeria police that we are coming, Tell the world that IPOB is about to make history, On 6th of Nov. 2015 we will hit the street of Nigeria and entire Biafra land. We will tell the world that Nnamdi Kanu is our leader and MUST be released. Starting from tomorrow 6th of Nov 2015 history will be made because we are Biafrans. We are ready everywhere all over the world. SHARE

Sunday, 22 November 2015

All Biafrans must rise up and assist ICC to the finest work of journalism to the best of your ability.  The more evidence you collect via videos and pictures, the greater the chances of finding these criminals guilty as charged. Thus, as the ICC case commences, we urge all Biafrans to be vigilant and take photos, videos, names, addresses, and activities of the listed agents of death who speak for themselves and their paymaster, British-Nigeria. IPOB.
PHOTOS viewers adviced : Buhari is a jihadist; every Biafran in Nigeria military force should with immediate effect withdraw himself. Jihad is going on in Nigeria, Over 150 soldiers killed by Buhari and his sponsored Boko haram. If we can remember when the news broke earlier today that 150 Soldiers were missing, Buhari instructed his military chief Tukur Buratai to announce that there are no missing Soldiers that the whole story is concocted and fake just to cover up their death, but little did they know that the pictures will be on the public domain. I quote what the Army Chief said this morning. “IT IS NOT TRUE THAT OUR SOLDIERS ARE MISSING. THE SOLDIERS WENT ON A MISSION FOR THE NIGERIAN NATION AND THEY HAVE SINCE RETURNED AND JOINED THEIR BATTALIONS”.

Nigerian Army denies losing 105 officers to Boko Haram
By Kingsley Omonobi
Abuja – Chief of Army staff, Lt. General Tukur Buratai has waved aside reports that about 105 soldiers prosecuting the war against Boko Haram terrorists met their untimely death when they failed to return in a bid to annihilate the terrorists in the North East.
The media had been awashed with news that about 100 Nigerian soldiers were missing after Boko Haram attacks in the epicenter of the battle.
But General Buratai in a telephone conversation with Vanguard said, “It is not true that our soldiers are missing. The soldiers went on a mission for the Nigerian nation and they have since returned and joined their Battalions”.
The confident Chief of Army Staff said that insinuation is a figment of imagination of the authors of the story.
Media reports had indicated that the Army may have lost about 150 of its men to an attack by Boko Haram insurgents in Gudunbali, Borno State.
It was claimed that the terrorists attacked at Gudunbali in Borno State, on Wednesday and as a result the 157 Battalion of the Nigerian Army could not account for at least, 105 soldiers including their commanding officer.
According an online media, the terrorists also captured a T-72 tank as well as several artillery weapons from the unit.
“Gudunbali was attacked this morning and some weapons were captured from the battalion. Two officers and 105 soldiers are still missing”.
The terrorists captured a T-72 tank from the unit and some artillery weapons were also captured. The commanding Officer (CO) of the battalion is yet to be seen but no one has been confirmed dead yet,” the source added.
Another source however said the T-72 tank was recovered after a prolonged fight with Boko Haram insurgents. The gunner and tank commander were injured in the process, he said.
Also reportedly captured by the insurgents were eight vehicles, a truck loaded with 60,000 rounds of AA ammunition and three artillery pieces.
Similarly, soldiers of the Multi-National Joint Task Force (MNJTF) stationed at Baga, Borno State also recently came under attack. The attack occurred in Geringiwa at about four kilometers to the headquarters of MNJTF, PREMIUM TIMES has also been told.
According to a source, the military has been unable to completely clear the insurgents from Baga and nearby towns due to inadequate equipment.
Boko Haram carried out a series of mass killings in Baga between January 3 and January 7, 2015, after the army headquarters there was sacked by the insurgents.
Although the military later liberated the town, soldiers stationed in the area have come under constant attacks from the insurgents.
.
The attacks on the military came on the heels of the suicide attacks on Yola and Kano respectively.

RADIO BIAFRA.......

Today being 21st November is supposed to be my Birthday;

I am expected to be in a joyful/casual mode today, but, unfortunately, I am in a sober mood. My Birthday would have been more bright and beautiful if my Living Hero Nnamdi Kanu was released from the hand of the Nigeria oppressive state.
I was born on 21st November 70ties; I have so far unknowingly celebrated a whole lot of wasted and bitter Birthdays as in Nigerian state with the fake identity given to me by the British through their amalgamation of 1914, Until 2013 when I came across an ONLINE Radio station called (RADIO BIAFRA LONDON) on Facebook then, which later became the number most listened radio station in the world, when I stumbled on the radio station I clicked on the link and started listening,
I first heard a Voice ragging out of this FREEDOM RADIO STATION (Radio Biafra) like an EARTHQUARK, it was like a volcanic eruption, like a Burning Fire consuming every sleeping giant in me, this fire was able to consume all my blindness, it consumed all my hopelessness, flaws and ill manner of thinking which was impacted into me through the usual live style in Nigeria, this voice instantly killed every insanity in my brain . It awakened every sense of sound reasoning within me.
Within 10 minutes of listening to this Voice, my soul was captivated with the gospel of hope, transparency, innovative, and Freedom,
I was like a dead man revived from a coma, I instantly reconnected with nature, as I listened further my whole body was filled with goose bombs, I remembered that he said, Do you know who you are? This Voice further pierces my heavy heart when it says, if you are from the (Old Eastern Region) which is today called the South/East and South/South, that you are not Igbo, Ijaw, Itshekiri, Urhobo, you are not a Delta he continues saying that you are not an Ibibio person, as I listened further, trying to assimilate his message, he said, I don’t blame you because they never thought you of whom you were at school before the coming of the European to Africa.
Immediately I was so much worried to know who we were before the arrival of the Europeans as this voice stated, thou I knew about Biafra for a long time but did not know much as this Voice from Radio Biafra was seriously hammering on the issues that have to do with whom I am before the coming of the European, I thought an IJAW MAN, IBIBIO, and URHOBO People were different people, I never knew they were my flesh and blood with same (DNA) until I stumbled on this Voice of truth and liberation, and he continued saying. The Hausa/Fulani Yoruba people have divided us and destroyed us with their Media propaganda/lies; the Hausas/Fulani Yoruba people manage and direct all media houses in Nigeria, they run all the media houses and use their newspapers to control the mind of our people while they enriched them selves with the natural mineral resources stolen from our land, they encroached on our territory and had been stealing our crude oil for so many years, polluting our air, damaging our lands, destroying our rivers and making our youth watchmen over the pipeline while they drill the oil and suck us dry without any benefit for us the owners of the land. He stated that they had impoverished the people of Biafra and rendering us economic destitute.
He said that they had Balkanized us, implanted hatred into the heart of our Brothers living within the river line area. He finally says that “We are BIAFRANS” and that Divided we fall and UNITED we stand. He asked if we knew about (RADIO ODUDUWA)? (ARIWA RADIO)?( BBC HAUSA) Etc. My heart quaked immediately when he asked DO YOU HAVE any Radio station that speaks for you. He asked do you have (RADIO BIAFRA)??. The fact is that his message has no resemblance on earth, his voice roared like that of a LION, his English command was so perfect that a layman even a deaf and dumb can easily understand everything he is saying, his unmistakable voice was hovering like a range of an OCEAN which is capable of washing away anything on its way. His words were as pure as crystal.
His lectures were raw and very educating. He won my heart as I listened along. From that moment I felt like someone under anointing, I have never seen or heard a pastor, Rev father or bishop who has even spoken to him before, none have ever made me cry while listening to him or her but this Voice reminded me of my suffering and smiling in Nigeria, I was made whole while listening to this Voice, an uncontrollable tear was running down my chin while I listened to him. The message was sounding to me more like an alien speaking from one internet radio somewhere from another planet (Venus or Pluto), my heart was battling seriously with his message, I was so curious, I was like a child that is famished of her mother's breast milk, the more i try to consume the message the more he add more fire, at a time I began to think if he was a deceiver in the name of (Biafra) or a deliverer of the Biafrans and African beyond?
This voice raises my IQ to be truncated on countless times over again, this time I took all his message personal, I assumed he was talking to me alone. He reminded me how far I have suffered in Nigerian, he also reminded me of the state of things in the place we called a country (Nigeria), the dilapidated road network of Nigeria was one of the thing he said that caused me instant sickness, reason the Enugu Awgu Road was commissioned many years ago but until now that road is no go area and the government are doing nothing about it.As a matter of fact, my car has once damaged along that road due to the poor situation of the road.
That road is a link road between Oji River -ACHI and an MMAKU-AWGU road, as a matter of fact that road is a dead trap up till today, he reminded me of the epileptic electricity in Nigeria when my state Enugu has the highest deposit of Coal that can generate power supply for the entire Africa for ages yet Nigeria has no light, I quickly confirmed his words because my own local Government Awgu has no light for years now my hometown has been in darkness for many years too, he also talk about the unstable system of education and Hospital we manage in Nigeria, he asked me why am I traveling around the world scavenging and striving to survive while doing all manners of dirty jobs abroad just to survive. He ask after suffering elsewhere washing plates, and saving money to buy goods and send back home if my goods have not been seized as a result of hatred meted against us because we are Biafrans, this voice was fearless, it was thunderous with undiluted truth covered with furnace of fire, his words were high covered with every verifiable fact and figures.
Listening to him totally change my life and from that moment I felt in love with this voice and message and I continued listening to him on daily basis, at the end of that my very first encounter with him, he said, my name is Nnamdi Kanu, I am from Isi Ama Afara Ukwu Ibeku in Abia state, I am the son of Eze Israel Okwu Kanu, the traditional ruler of Isi Ama Afara Ukwu Autonomous community, and he added that when Biafra comes, that Kings will not govern our communities in (Biafran Land), he said that its chiefs that will lead us, he said that he don’t believe in anything like KING (EZE) as GOD is our KING .that its only Chiefs of our communities shall be the head of our towns and cities as it was in the in the Holy Bible before the Israel begged GOD for a KING before (King Saul ) was given to them,
He further added that even thou his father is a King, that he knew that (CHUKWU OKIKE ABIAMA) is our GOD. And we the IGBO speaking Biafrans always name our children after GOD, that we do name our kids (CHIBUEZE) which mean (God is KING). This statement automatically justified this man at my first hearing as a noble Prince, who left his fathers Kingdon/Palace to preach the gospel of liberation of his people from slavery and Backwardness. Since then I vowed to listen and follow him, I vowed that I shall be recognized as a Biafran because that is whom my progenitors were and that I shall do my best to preach this same Gospel that will bring light to the Biafrans and at last the freedom of the Biafra People shall be established. He has educated me more than I can ever put in writing. He gave me a gift that no amount of money can buy, and I owe him in return my love and allegiance to stand by him in a Good and bad situation always until Biafra is restored.
MY BIRTHDAY ……
Today I want the world to know that as I am marking my Birthday in celebration of my Living Hero Nnamdi Kanu,
I am celebrating the only man I know who is whiter than white and whiter than snow.
The man who stood gallantly before his brothers and sisters that hated him due to jealousy and enviousness against his charisma,
The man whom God have sent to liberate this generation of Biafra from abject poverty, degradation, deprivation, and seasonless killing.
The man whose mantra is FAIRNESS, EQUITY, JUSTICE, and FREEDOM
The greatest Activist I have ever seen, the greatest Orator of all time
The Greatest Prophet of this Generation whose words always come to fulfillment immediately after it’s by him spoken.
The man whose voice heals every sickness including mental, spiritual and psychological illness:
I am celebrating this Prince, who left Luxurious life and chose pains, suffering and even risk his life for the betterment of over (75 million) Biafrans and still counting across the globe.
I am celebrating the Great revolutionist that is already leading the first and greatest revolution in the land of African, a revolution that shall give birth to the sovereign state of Biafra and other nations.
I am celebrating a man whose heart is as crystal and purer than GOLD,
I am celebrating the finest brain ever known by mankind.
I am celebrating the greatest economist, historian and a colossus of all time.
I am honoring the leader of Indigenous people of Biafra and the director of Radio Biafra / Biafra TV.
I am celebrating Mazi Nnamdi Kanu my Living HERO, who’s freedom shall be my Original Birthday as a Biafran.
I am celebrating a man of the moment, the man I loved, cherished and adore.
How can I dance, drink and enjoy my birthday while the source of my joy, hope, happiness, and future is still held against his wish?
How can I dance and sing while the only one who knows the song I love to sing and dance is in the enemy’s camp.
Friends, Family members, well-wishers, people of Goodwill, friends of Biafra and Biafrans kindly join me today being 21st November 2015 as I am dedicating my Birthday to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, and want to celebrate Him and demand for his release from Nigeria Government come 23rd of November as we expect him to appear before the court of justice in Abuja.
May God bless Biafrans and friends of Biafra across the Globe
May God bless my living Hero,
May God bless me Okpala-Eze Chukwubuikem

Invasion of Nigeria by Benin Rep: 1914 Agreement Has Expired, President Boni Yayi Tells Buhari
Palpable tension has enveloped the border town of Okuta in Baruten Local Government Area of Kwara State over the alleged invasion of 16 villages by the authorities of Benin Republic.
Already, the authorities of the neighbouring country have gone ahead to construct Gerdarmes Office (Police station) in the affected Nigerian communities and also hoist their national flag at the affected Nigeria villages.
The development, according to THISDAY investigations, has disregarded the boundary delimitation of 1914 between Britain and France which the two countries had respected and which in the reasoning of President Boni Yayi of Benin Republic has long expired.
The affected Nigerian villages, according to THISDAY checks, include Ogomne, Bwin, Gandasunon, Kpuru and Woru Wuren Kparu.
Others are Ajuba,1, Ajuba 2, Saka Yeruman Kparu,Monta, Dotin Kparu,Halidun Kparu, Yakubun Kparu, Sonsi,Gunosani, Alhaji Kparu,Yodo Mankparu and Simen Kparu.
It was learnt that the development has also led the Okuta Emirate Council to order the people of Yakparu axis to dismantle of the Beninoire flag hoisted at Nigerian villages and the flag is currently at the custody of the emirate council in the ...........................

Again,Biafra
on
By Obi NwakanmaThe new Minister of Defence, Mr. Muhammed Dan Ali, has made what might be the first official statement by this administration on the new agitation by Biafrans for a separate country. Nigeria, he noted on his initial statement on assuming office as Defence Minister, is buffeted by “many indices of destabilisation.”
Biafra
The new minister called, in what may in fact be a very conciliatory tone for a meeting between the federal government and “stakeholders” to “brainstorm and come up with roadmap in order to abort any processes that may destabilise the nation.”
Until the new Minister’s statement, and following the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu of the so-called Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) and what is now clearly an unlawful and needless detention, which has also been followed by widespread demonstrations in the Eastern parts of Nigeria, the Buhari administration had maintained what seemed to be a calculated, and stolid silence.
It was the kind of initial silence which the Jonathan administration kept over Boko Haram, hoping that by ignoring it, Boko Haram would somehow go away, and disappear or fizzle out. It turned out to be a mistake. It is a mistake that the current president whose public policies seems to have increasingly alienated the Eastern part of Nigeria has refused to make a categorical statement about the Biafran agitation, or the factors that are currently stoking it .
Only recently, the president made but a tepid and general statement about “Nigerian unity.” President said at the ceremonies of the Armed Forces Remembrance Day: “since independence Nigeria has witnessed a lot of internal strife, survived a civil war and has remained united.
This feat achieved by the country is an eloquent testimony of the determination of our citizens to remain as one people.”It is the president hiding his head like the ostrich’s in the sand. The president is unrealistic because the Biafra agitation is clearly challenging his assumptions at different levels.
These new Biafrans feel that they do not wish to live together as one people with Nigerians, and this is simply because as Ojukwu never failed to remind us, patriotism is not like cocaine; it is not addictive. It is the product of conditions of shared wellbeing, and the current Biafran agitation for self-determination once more challenges that question of the “shared wellbeing” of being Nigerian.Jonathan’s initial response to Boko Haram was to adopt the policy of appeasement of the North through appointments, and the bribery of its elite.

It failed because the root causes of the movement were generally ignored. The term “stakeholders” often confines itself to the appeasement of elite interests when grassroots forces rise in response to certain historical contradictions in the polity. Yet if it were just that kind of appeasement that were needed, perhaps the escalation would have been contained earlier.

However, the Biafrans also see that one of those arrested and questioned, and detained for sponsoring Boko Haram, Senator Ali Ndume, is now the Majority Leader of the Senate under the APC. Another, who had been jailed for his involvement with Boko Haram, was released from jail by President Buhari, and given a position in the Nigerian intelligence services.
The Biafrans have seen that long meditative, conciliatory silence does not earn anyone power in Nigeria; that the use of blackmail by certain forces in the North very nearly crippled Jonathan, obscured his achievements, and earned the current president the ride to the presidency.
President Buhari has not been shy either in the use of his power to define the geopolitics that has exacerbated the sense of alienation of the Eastern part of Nigeria.
The president has almost inexorably opened a flank, as a result, in the battle for Nigeria to those who are discontented with Nigeria. Last week, in response to the new Biafran agitation, the General Officer Commanding the 81 Div in Enugu issued what is clearly a threat to use of military force against an unarmed civilian population which has so far staged its protests as non-violent street campaigns.

Two things feel arbitrary in this sense: first, it is not the constitutional role of the Army to deploy and suppress the internal or domestic agitation of citizens. It is the function of the police. The constitutional role of the military is to defend Nigeria from external military aggression.
Secondly, the president cannot deploy the military for an internal security operation until he has been expressly given authority to do so by the National Assembly under the emergency provision, otherwise, the unconstitutional use of the armed forces against an unarmed civilian population would constitute an impeachable offence.
This might also be grounds for prosecution at the International Criminals court. The federal government should know that the supporters of this Biafran movement have the resources currently to campaign internationally and drag Nigeria to the International Criminals Court if undue violence is used to quell the legitimate, non-violent agitation for self-determination. A Nigerian president should not be on the disgraceful list of “wanted criminals” to be arrested for the violation of the rights to life of its citizens.
Meanwhile, as I am writing, there are new Biafra Support Committees springing up quietly in private homes in various US cities, prepping to raise funds and other logistical support for this movement. It is complex. The threat and use of violence will only make this agitation even more complex.
Street campaigns will definitely grow in intensity. The Nigerian security services are far too thinly deployed to contain what might become a growing movement in the East. Soon, the elected state governments will lose their legitimacy as the Biafran activists begin to fill the gaps in the provision of the local social services that have been long absent in the East at the municipal levels, and this will transfer legitimacy and loyalty to the movement.
I think Dan Ali is therefore quite correct: it is futile to ignore or threaten the Biafrans. It is time to meet and brainstorm with the stakeholders, and these are to be clear, the young, disaffected organizers of this movement. These young people, many with quality education, but suffering the indignity and the humiliation of long and sustained unemployment and immobility, have actually nothing to lose.
Those among them trained in the humanities and the social sciences would have encountered, or taken classes in the theories and practice of insurgency and counter-insurgency; those trained in the hard sciences and Engineering would have dangerous skills that can be very easily appropriated and deployed.
And Nigeria has no index of where these skills are currently deployed. That should be the first rule of engagement. I personally think that it is fair to give this president a chance in the first year of his presidency to fulfil his promise, and not foreclose on him yet.
I wish that the young Biafrans could channel their agitation in seeking change starting with their own elected leaders in the East who must account for the resources allotted to the East.I wish also that the Biafrans would rise above the agitation for a separate state of Biafra and work with their peers nationally, who are equally aggrieved and suffering from the consequences of over forty years of misrule, to create a common ground for a new nationalist movement, and fulfil the aborted Zikist mission of a great nation founded on individual liberty, equal citizenship, and the rights of all irrespective of ethnicity, gender, or creed, because at its very core, this is what the agitation by the new Biafra is all about: justice for an alienated people.
A new state of Biafra, with its inherited contradictions may not guarantee that justice either.
Our today's prayer point here in(biafra church of truth)here in Malmo headquarter(Sweden)OH CHUKWUABIAMA THE LORD OF HOSTS.I PRESENT ALL THE HATERS& ENEMIES OF BIAFRA BEFORE THEE AS A BURNT OFFERING.FATHER BURNT THEM BEYOND RECOGNITION BEFORE THEIR LOVED ONES.ISEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
How Nigeria Was Sold To The British At Sum Of £865k In 1899
This is a history class Read below carefully, There are many things which was excluded from the Nigerian history we do study in our various schools, This very article unveil how Nigeria was sold to the Great Britain in 1899 at the sum of £865,000 (£46,407,250 today).
By 1870, palm oil had replaced slaves as the main export of the Niger Delta, the area which was once known as the Slave Coast. At first, most of the trade in the oil palm was uncoordinated, with natives selling to those who gave them the best deals. Native chiefs such as former slave, Jaja of Opobo became immensely wealthy because of oil palm. With wealth comes influence.
However, among the Europeans, there was competition for who would get preferential access to the lucrative oil palm trade. In 1879, George Goldie (1846 – 1925, pictured above) formed the United African Company, which was modeled on the former East India Company. Goldie effectively took control of the Lower Niger River. By 1884, his company had 30 trading posts along the Lower Niger. This monopoly gave the British a strong hand against the French and Germans in the 1884 Berlin Conference. The British got the area that the UAC operated in, included in their sphere of influence after the Berlin Conference.
When the Brits got the terms they wanted from other Europeans, they began to deal with the African chiefs. Within two years of 1886, Goldie had signed treaties with tribal chiefs along the Benue and Niger Rivers whilst also penetrating inland. This move inland was against the spirit of verbal agreements that had been made to restrict the organisation’s activities to coastal regions.
By 1886, the company name changed to “The National Africa Company” and was granted a royal charter (incorporated). The charter authorized the company to administer the Niger Delta and all lands around the banks of the Benue and Niger Rivers. Soon after, the company was again renamed. The new name was “Royal Niger Company”, which survives, as Unilever, till this day.
To local chiefs, the Royal Niger Company negotiators had pledged free trade in the region. Behind, they entered private contracts on their terms. Because the (deceitful) private contracts were often written in English and signed by the local chiefs, the British government enforced them. So for example, Jaja of Opobo, when he tried to export palm oil on his own, was forced into exile for “obstructing commerce”. As an aside, Jaja was “forgiven” in 1891 and allowed to return home, but he died on the way back, poisoned with a cup of tea.
Seeing what happened to Jaja, some other native rulers began to look more closely at the deals they were getting from the the Royal Nigeria Company. One of such kingdoms was Nembe, who’s king, Koko Mingi VIII, ascended the throne in 1889 after being a Christian schoolteacher. Koko Mingi VIII, King Koko for short, and like most rulers in the yard, was faced with the Royal Nigeria Company encroachment. He also resented the monopoly enjoyed by the the Royal Nigeria Company, and tried to seek out favourable trading terms, with particularly the Germans in Kamerun.
By 1894 the the Royal Nigeria Company increasingly dictated whom the natives could trade with, and denied them direct access to their former markets.
In late 1894, King Koko renounced Christianity, and tried to form an alliance with Bonny and Okpoma against the the Royal Nigeria Company to take back the trade. This is significant because while Okpoma joined up, Bonny refused. A harbinger of the successful “divide and rule” tactic.
On 29 January 1895, King Koko led an attack on the Royal Niger Company’s headquarters, which was in Akassa in today’s Bayelsa state. The pre-dawn raid had more than a thousand men involved. King Koko’s attack succeeded in capturing the base. Losing 40 of his men, King Koko captured 60 white men as hostages, as well as a lot of goods, ammunition and a Maxim gun. Koko then attempted to negotiate a release of the hostages in exchange for being allowed to chose his trading partners. The British refused to negotiate with Koko, and he had forty of the hostages killed. A British report claimed that the Nembe people ate them. On 20 February 1895, Britain’s Royal Navy, under Admiral Beford attacked Brass, and burned it to the ground. Many Nembe people died and smallpox finished off a lot of others.
By April 1895, business had returned to “normal”, normal being the conditions that the British wanted, and King Koko was on the run. Brass was fined £500 by the British, £26,825 in today’s money, and the looted weapons were returned as well as the surviving prisoners. After a British Parliamentary Commission sat, King Koko was offered terms of settlement by the British, which he rejected and disappeared. The British promptly declared him an outlaw and offered a reward of £200 (£10,730 today) for him. He committed suicide in exile in 1898.
About that time, another “recalcitrant King”, the Oba of Benin, was run out of town. The pacification of the Lower Niger was well and truly under way.
The immediate effect of the Brass Oil War was that public opinion in Britain turned against the the Royal Nigeria Company, so its charter was revoked in 1899. Following the revoking of its charter, the the Royal Niger Company sold its holdings to the British government for £865,000 (£46,407,250 today). That amount, £46,407,250 (NGN12,550,427,783.81 at today’s exchange rate) was effectively the price Britain paid, to buy the territory which was to become known as Nigeria.

Heavy Security Presence In Court For Kanu's Arraignment

The director of the Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, on Monday, November 23, appeared in court despite the controversies surrounding him.
There is heavy security presence in an Abuja magistrate court following the arraignment of the director of the Independent People Of Biafra Nnamdi Kanu.
The security operatives mostly armed search asked anyone who tried to enter the court for identification.
Also there are scores of Nigerians both outside and inside the court house.
Immediately Kanu was brought in by the SSS there was jubilation by the people outside, chanting: “Nwa Chineke” meaning child of God.
Most of them were running to touch the accused person as Kanu, looking scruffy, unkempt and dressed in a light blue shirt waved to the crowd.
Kanu was arrested on October 18 by operatives of the State Security Services  (SSS) on his arrival from the United Kingdom.
On November 18,  Kanu’s arraignment was stalled due to absence in court.
The magistrate had ordered the SSS to produce Kanu in court on the next adjourned date – today, November 23rd 2015.

URHOBO PROGRESS UNION.
UPU YOUTH VS UYC.
UPU YOUTH IGHELES ARE MUROON WHILE URHOBO YOUTH COUNCIL group ARE MUROON EKPA WITHOUT BRAIN.
The two SECRETARY of the two groups whose their picture will appear here are: UPU, Rex Akiugbo Anighoro and UYC, is Aduomayebe Adums Aghogho.
The URHOBO PRESIDENT General whose picture is here too is CHIEF dullant dullard, the Ejorho-gbe of Mosoga forcefully to be kingdom, Joel Omene.
Do you know What, these groups of PEOPLE has turn URHOBO nation into voiceless ethnic group that the only option for any URHOBO youth or leader to make it in the State they were majority or in the ZOOGERIATRIC HEADLESS BRITISH Nigeria is for them either to be a beggar or turn into performing FAUSTIAN SERVICE Against their fellow URHOBO. They were so brainless that they don't have any single voice and they with the help of Omene UPU have turned all the Urhobo PEOPLE into voiceless, they no longer have say but only obeying one leader voice or the other and they are claiming to be a determine voice group. Idiotic are them.
I have a question for everyone the same one that was asked to late Aziza UPU former PRESIDENT General. What do you think the greatest threat to our Urhobo nation national security, lack of unity and lack of one voice is? Myself I don't believe it is Great Ogboru, Ovie Omo-Agege, CHIEF Amori or CHIEF O'tega Omerhon. I believe our greatest threat, right now, is our very own Federal Governing body know as Urhobo PROGRESS UNION (UPU). The reason was that the body is made up of idiotic brainless MONKEY with useless idea in ambition to be the most richest in the whole Delta State. They don't have head so the office they occupy is EQUALLY HEADLESS. With their SELFISH character and fishbrain, they only want who they can control to be in power and position. They don't really need the PROGRESS of the General Urhobo nation but their own self SELFISH riches. They seek nothing than personal fame and position. These two group will never tell you that the Urhobo nation is being Marginalize in the Country provided their aims are achieve or going to be achieve. They don't care What will happen to the General masses but themselves alone.
The two blackmailer groups, one is being backup by Senator Amori, brainless Speaker Monday Igbuya (Delta State Speaker) and some others WHILE the UPU IGHELES have no head unless UPU leaders, and their mission is to paint some PEOPLE bad and paint their group good, so, their mission is to DESTROY the image of others.

For you to know that they don't have direction, just listen to them WHEN they are speaking Against Biafra agitators. They claim to be Niger Delta but they never speak for Niger Delta but rather speak Against Biafra Republic. those with Senator are claiming one Nigeria WHILE those with UPU don't have where to speak for but rather be Against Biafra protesters.
You can not hide the facts forever but why is our youth claiming leader government decided to rule with blood in their hands? One thing is sure that the agitators against these youth government or the UPU leaders will not be fought by weapons but with stones and sticks, whereby people will no longer care to die anymore, please watch out these groups leaders are idiots and have been coming insane and people will get out to defend themselves if Government fails to here us and act according to our demind to neglect these groups of self claim leaders.
I know many of you may be Against me but can any of you tell me UPU Joel Omene Urhobo agenda or the UPU Vs UYC Urhobo youth agenda that can improve the General Urhobo nation?
The truth cannot be hiding, only when the Urhobos believe and support Biafra Republic, it is then Marginalization shall end and recognition shall be highly be in place.
Free yourself From slavery. DECIDE your decision Urhobo PEOPLE.

JUST IN!!! Biafra: South East Leaders Meet in Enugu Today (Read The Communiqué) PHOTOS
The South-East Leaders & Stakeholders Meeting in Enugu held today. The meeting chaired by Gov Rochas Okorocha was a follow up to the meeting of South-East Governors last week to deliberate on issues bothering on security and economy of the zone. Stakeholders in attendance include Ministers, National Assembly members, etc from the South-East.

The same representation applies for Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Abia and Imo.
In Attendance are Governors, Ministers, National Assembly members, etc
This is taking place at Enugu Government House.
Meanwhile there are indications from a reliable source that :
1. Lower Niger Congress was not invited to this conclave
2. Chief Igariwey-led Ohanaeze hierarchy  did not receive any invitation letter to the meeting
3. Nnamdi Kanu’s IPOB is not involved
A strong suspicion now exists that today’s meeting is being teleguided by Buhari’s APC, using Okorocha to attempt to water down Igbo grievances with the nation.
Without the three major stakeholders mentioned above, the resolutions of the meeting will be half baked.
After a compassionate review of the MASSOB, IPOB agitation in the country, the communiqué read by Owelle Rochas Okorocha the Imo state Governor who chaired the meeting of the South East stakeholders meeting today read:
-A committee will be set up to dialogue with the MASSOB, IPOB as well as the Federal Government with a view to finding a lasting solution to the issue.
-The elders also examined other issues including poor state of infrastructural facilities in the cities, marginalisation in the Federal appointments and other socio-economic issues that have impacted to the economic development of the South East.
-Also, it was the decision of the South East Governors to set up an Economic Council and urged them to interface with the Federal Government on remedial measures.
-A delegation of members of the South East was mandated to meet with the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on these matters.

We will not Negotiate With Biafra Agitators-Buhari by Opeyemi Odu / SundY,22 Nov 2015 08:54 am
President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday warned those behind the agitation for the division of Nigeria through the Movement for Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) to steer clear, saying the corporate existence of Nigeria as a single entity is not a subject of debate and would not be compromised.
President Buhari gave the warning in Zaria at the investiture of the Obi of Onitsha, Nnaemeka Alfred Ugochukwu Achebe, as the 7th Chancellor of the Ahmadu Bello University, ABU, Zaria.
The President who was represented by the Minister of State for Education, Prof Anthony Onwuka, said the menace of insurgency and actions of some people agitating for dismemberment of the country would be surmounted.
His words: “The country is currently facing challenges of insurgency and other forms of insecurity that have become a threat to Nigerians to live in their country and be educated in their country.
“The security situation in the country entails that every Nigerian must discharge his responsibility in bringing about peaceful coexistence. The menace of insurgency and actions of some people agitating for dismemberment of this country will be surmounted.
“I therefore sound a note of serious warning that the corporate existence of Nigeria as a single entity is not a subject of debate and will not be compromised.
“This administration will put in place sustainable programme which will put our education system back on sound track.
“The university should on their own part key in to the wave of change across the country. As pacesetters, the universities must avoid any corrupt practices.”
Earlier in his address, the new Chancellor frowned at the persistent fuel scarcity in the country.
“We spend unbelievable amounts importing petrol and subsidizing its retail price whilst our three refineries with adequate capacity to meet our national
requirement are literarily moribund, despite huge sums spent on endless turn around maintenance;; smaller and less endowed countries successfully operate their own refineries optimally and do not suffer scarcity.
“Nigeria is probably the largest importer of electric generators in the world despite our endowment with natural sources of energy, such as petroleum, coal, hydro and solar energies, and the huge sums spent by successive governments on the power sector. On the other hand, a smaller country, Ghana, takes gas from Nigeria and generates most of its electricity requirements.
“Our food import bill, spent mostly on rice and wheat, is about $22 billion annually, yet our country is blessed with vast arable land and a large population of young jobless people that can be usefully deployed to agriculture.
“Road construction in Nigeria is more expensive than most parts of the world, yet our roads are breaking down faster than we build them because the traditional mode for heavy haulage, namely, railways, pipelines and waterways, are comatose;; a trailer load of petrol from Mosimi to Maiduguri causes more damage to our roads than the value of the product being transported.

“A majority of our state governments have recently taken the so-called “bailout loans” for recurrent expenditure, meaning that future generations are being inflicted with the burden of the profligacy of the current generation,” he said.
MAZI NNAMDI THE GREAT HERO: This very unprecedented Freedom Fighter,is a Hero that is totally unbeatable... Even in the hands of the Islamic DSS of Nigeria,he displays Bravery and Resoluteness.. This Heroic Biafran, has written his name in Gold in the Hearts of not just Biafrans, but the World at large... After the Court hearing today been the 23 of November,he urged Biafrans not to give up and appealed that Biafrans should always display resoluteness in this ordained struggle. While taking him back to the Dss custody,he waved, smiled and greeted everyone present in the Court.. This formidable Freedom fighter who has giving his all for the freedom of Biafrans, will never be forgotten and through him,Biafra Must Come... #FreeNnamdiKanu... #FreeBiafra...

OHANAEZE INDI IGBO REPRESENTING DELEGATES-BIAFRA IS THE ONLY SOLUTION.
In commendation to the choice of General Ike Nwachukwu (Rtd) to lead a deligation of Biafra elites to meet with Nigeria president Mohammadu Buhari, it shows a sign of a welcomed approach to his recent expression of regrets for the failure of Nigerian leaders to the youths. It is in no vain saying that he General Ike Nwachukwu (Rtd) has displayed a true and commemdable spirit of an ideal elderly statesman and a true son of Biafra.
In this short message, it is a direct statement to you Sir, General Ike Nwachukwu (Rtd); As you take to the Nigeria seat of governance, do not forget that you are not going there to represent any sole interest of any elite or group of elites who feel that the present generation and generations of Biafrans have no place satisfactory existence. Instead, you are there to speak equivocally the true mind of the Biafrans expecially the youths that you witness amassed the streets of all eastern region known to be the Biafra land. Do not waver the fact that the black clothings of the Biafran youths on the streets represent mourning of the costly blood of Biafrans being massacared by Nigeria and do as well signify a dark cloud of no future spelt out by Nigeria towards the Biafrans. In your view as an illustrous son of Biafra having known the struggling of your people, would it ever be credited of you as a job well done if the haulmark of the struggle is swept under the carpet... ? Obviously not! Hence the need that you speak nothing but the truth and the outstanding answer- BIAFRA. We need Biafra and nothing less than that. The solution to the problem that need be presented to President Buhari remains PHAROH, LET MY PEOPLE GO.
In similar address, this is to remind the delegation that in UNITY BIAFRA STAND and as such it is expected of everyone of you to speak with one voice and we await in solidarity to see the outcome of your meeting with our answer being the only solution to whatever to be addressed. This answer is still nothing but SOVEREIGN STATE OF BIAFRA. That is the hope of your people.
In a note of warning, a miscreant like Olusegun Obasanjo MUST not be allowed of his idol presence nor his contribution to any issue that concerns Biafra. We abhore him in humanity terms, disassociate him and discredit him with utmost condemnable terms for ever using his mouth to describe Biafrans as MISCREANTS. Biafrans who played vital roles in making his administration a successful democratic initiative in Nigeria has today become people to be recepients of Obansanjo's unguided verbal abuses. It is very condemnable as such expression was directed to all Biafrans including you the delegates. Obasanjo MUST not be welcomed in any sphere of Biafra issues. As you all know it well, that this Obasanjo is so corrupt, wicked, rude, arrogant, with no respect for Nigeria let alone any individual that he could alot oil wales and governmental parastatals to himself and his gang of looters to such that he does boast today with no remorse that he stole public resources to make himself an oil refinery owner outside Nigeria. It must not slip by easily the fact Obasanjo carjooed Nigerians into believing his fraudulent tactice called privatisation and thereby made a lot mess of the power sector, haven invested billions of Nigeria yet was unable to produce any mega-watt of electricity for Nigerians. It is in no doubt his purpose of early visit to Mohamadu Buhari to present a blue print of how the nation should be runned just to make sure that Buhari does not extend his probing tactics to his regime. The lobbying terms to this effect are known and Buhrai knows this. It is now an open secret. Obasanjo is the father of Nigeria corruption with FESTAC and OTA FARM two symbolic examples just to mention but a few. This is the voice of Biafran youths echoing a great sound of warning to this misguided fool of a folk called Olusegun Obasanjo for using the language MISCREANTS on Biafrans; he must on no reason get involved in any Biafra issue. If he Obasanjo dares make any comment again, Biafrans would meet him with something beyond mere pelting him tomatoes and rottens eggs of a global disgrace.
Nonetheless, my great people of Biafra, Ohanaeze ndi-igbo, and His Excellency, General Ike Nwachukwu; the prayers of Biafra people are with you. God Almighty, the Chukwu Okike abiama, would grant you journey mercies. Hold unto this message that BIAFRA would let loose the atmosphere of wild wind if a hair of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is tampered with outside his permission. Ohanaeze and the Biafra delegates must know that two goodnews are expected from them; SOVEREIGN STATE OF BIAFRA and MAZI NNAMDI KANU intact.
The truth shall prevail... .NO GOING BACK.
Mr Azubuike Francis.

DSS Asks Court To Discontinue Prince Nnamdi Kanu’s trial.

At the resumed sitting of the case, prosecution counsel, Moses Idakwo, informed the court that
after the arraignment of the accused, the complainant stumbled on some facts which took
the matter out of the jurisdiction of the court. According to him, the complainant found out that the accused was involved in terrorism and has been financing it. “The complainant is, therefore, applying to
discontinue the matter under section 108(1) of administration of criminal justice act 2015.’’ Idakwo said that the DSS had also obtained an order from the Federal High Court, Abuja, dated Nov.10, to detain the accused in its custody for 90 days.

NNAMDI KANU'S TRIAL, LAUGHABLE CHARGES AND NIGERIANS OBSESSION
By Ifeanyi Chijioke
“I therefore sound a note of serious warning that the corporate existence of Nigeria as a single entity is not a subject of debate and will not be compromised.

(Family Writers)
For past one month I have been waiting patiently amidst fear owing to the rumors that Nnamdi Kanu has been extra-judicially murdered. In the right sense of the whole thing, I should not have been bothered because he is being held by a legal institution but here in Nigeria, there is no law and it's indeed a zoo where one can get obsessed and kill another. Until he gallantly walked into the court room in a sky blue packet shirt, smiling indefinitely like a man using his enemies, waving to the formidable people of Biafra like victory is close.

One thing left me withering again, a well fed and buoyant Prince gone thin, once creamed and kept hair gone unkempt, the sufferings were quite shown, a Prince that ought to be enjoying the summer breeze in London, relegated to a prisoner that lacks care, how i wish he is in a prison in abroad, he would have been respected and taken care of but here they see him like a sheep caught in a lions' den. He is suffering for we Biafrans, both known and unknown while we have shown solidarity and will die for his sake. He stood calm in the court watching people below his class persecute and judge him for demanding freedom, one word from him they would start scrambling for answer but he watched them because he is civilized.
Laughably they must have read out his charges, " The accused is standing trial on a three-count charge of criminal conspiracy, intimidation and belonging to unlawful society" sure Nnamdi Kanu would plead not guilty. One would wonder how and where all these crimes were committed, laughably the judge is judging an oral or vocal crime, even when the DSS stumbled on terrorism charges, and it’s funny that all these crimes were committed with mouth. Nigeria is quite different from any other country because it's a zoo where laws have their own classification, executive being the lion has laws he is beyond, the tortoise being legislatures have their own
Just In! Biafra Nnamdi Kanu symbol; Secrete Message Using Body Movement Revealed!!!

During his court Trial yesterday 23rd Nov Nnamdi Kanu appeared fearless and powerful, he was mute but in his silence lies the spirit of a very powerful freedom fighter. He didn’t say a word but managed to send out a secrete message his supporters all over the world even when SSS agents tried supressing it, the Nnamdi Kanu symbol of raised hands with clenched fingers into his fist is very powerful and can be decoded to mean so many things. the Big Question is
What is the Secrete meaning of Nnamdi Kanu symbol yesterday 23rd Nov?nnamdi in court7 nnamdi in court
before we answer it seems the followers of this freedom fighter is increasing by the hour. Cyril Dike said Director Nnamdi Kanu does represent what is beyond money or quest for fame. Nnamdi Kanu has finally be transformed into ideology and philosophy as the navigator and torch-bearer of Biafran struggle, which represents emancipation of old Eastern region from the enslavement of British authority packaged and sealed as the contraption called Nigeria. Thank God that Nigeria as a country built and founded on lies, injustice, inequality and deceit has expired. Biafra has come to stay. Long live Nnamdi Kanu! Long live IPOB! Long live Peoples Republic of Biafra….On Biafra we standnnamdi in court5 nnamdi in court6
We found this post by a biafran online and feels it will be helpful in decoding the symbol.
by Emmy Nnaji
#NNAMDIKANU SYMBOL OF BIAFRA FREEDOM: Take a trip down the memory lane and remember the words of leader of IPOB Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who is today the symbol of our freedom.I guess many of us his ardent followers and listeners to his gospel of emancipation from physical and mental slavery bedeviling us will agree with me that he always preach we should be fearless before our enemy and speak the truth even at the point of death.
He represented that message when he appeared in court yesterday in ZOO capital Abuja,we witnessed his resolute in the midst of his enemies when he was lead into the court before the section and away after the section, he was fearless, confident and unshaken still passing the message of resistance and defiance as always this time voiceless but body language and symbol, despite the DSS trying to prevent him from sending the silent message to his teaming supporters present.
Below when he raised his arms clench, his fingers into a fist, a powerful message urging everyone to be strong and relentless until our enemies are defeated was passed.
And i will finally leave you with a quote by martin Luther king Jr which in my opinion summarized the rare personality of our great leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu
Quote: “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy. The true neighbor will risk his position, his prestige, and even his life for the welfare of others.”
Long live #BIAFRA
Long live Mazi Nnamdi Kanu
Either Biafra or death!”
That was Emmy Nnaji perspective. what does the symbol of this freedom fighter mean to you? to some people it means Victory is sure and to some it means Remain strong, resolute and formidable and to others it means we are making progress but continue what you are doing but double your effort.
Where you able to decode the symbol? Understanding the hidden meaning behind the symbol will go a long way in helping every one understand and solve the problem we are in once and for all without blood shed.
Share with your friends and let the decoding begin

SOUTH EASTERN REGION.SHOULD BE CAREFUL

I am a soldier, I will not give my name for the sake of my life . my message is simple, I can't stop myself from letting people understand the danger they are in,in Nigeria (especially those in the southeast),after my fellow soldiers here in southern Kaduna, Kaduna state, yesterday being Sunday 08 march, invaded a church and killed innocent Christian youths guarding their church against suicide bombers from gaining access in to the church compound during their church service. My conscience keeps judging me for not letting people know what I know. I am a christian but here in the military camp, I dare not let them know about this or I will be on the next troop heading to confront Boko Haram without enough rains of ammunition to fight them and certainly will get killed . most of our men deployed to fight Boko Haram are christian soldiers from the eastern and southeastern part of the country ,I cry inside me each time they leave the camp to confront Boko Haram as most of them don't make it back alive and nobody cares to retrieve their body from Boko Haram .messages are set to their families back in the far eastern part of the country that they killed in a car accident and I wonder why their families don't demand for the bodies of their children they claim where involved in a car accident ,what a pity. The reason why I want people to know this ,is not because of all that had happened to Christians all over this country but because of the things they are going to face very soon , I must confess that Christians don't respond to dangers approaching them until they all die , they think that God will come down from heaven to defend their life instantly but that is not true because I am a christian also ,from kano state .Nobody suspect that I am a christian because I am from the North and they think that all Northerners are Muslim but that is not true .The message is that Boko Haram men are all over Nigeria now believe it or not, Boko Haram has also joined ISIS (Islamic State) in the Arab world and I don't know if the christian people understand what that means .150 women recently have been beheaded by ISIS and most of the women where discovered to be pregnant women ,Boko Haram is expected to carry out the same thing since they have pledged allegiance to ISIS, this is just an introduction ,the main message is that 6 years ago , Boko Haram young members joined the Nigeria Defense Academy like ordinary citizens showing interest to gain admission ,join any of the arm force for the defense of the Nation but that was not the reason ,60% of them gained admission and graduated . Recently , that group have been deployed to the eastern part of the country along with few genuine soldiers , their mission is simple and they will carry it out once the order comes . many people may see them as ordinary soldiers but the truth is that 90% of the soldiers in every checkpoint and camps in the eastern part of the country are Boko Haram members in army uniforms ,they are soldiers but their mission is different from others . please my christian brothers be wise . you may be wondering how I got this information , remember I am from the North , the northerners are not considered Christians here even when some of us are.It will interest you to know that many of our soldiers here are working for Boko Haram , not because they like them but because of the money they are been paid by the Boko Haram for every information and attacks the soldier themselves carry against Christians and the Government cannot provide the soldiers with such money . Do not see all Northerners as bad people , some of us are good but it is very difficult to tell so I don't blame anyone that think that we are all the same . For me I know that I will die because the Boko Haram are getting more help and resources than we the soldiers. Please help me to save people that I can not save as soldier by spreading this message to save livesk especially those in the southeast before the order gets to Boko Haram soldiers there . I will be happy in heaven for your good works if I die . Biafra is the only way for your freedom. buhari as bokoharam Islamic leader, has an evil satanic wicked plan against Biafrans.

Biafra: I’m Ready To Abdicate Throne For Biafra – Eze Kanu, Nnamdi Kanu’s Father
Monday, 30 November 2015

As the River Nile runs from Victoria in Uganda to Egypt, so activism runs in the family of the traditional ruler of Afaraukwu in Umuahia, the Abia State capital. From the monarch himself, His Royal Majesty, Eze Sir I. O. Kanu, Eze Ikputu of Afara Ukwu Ibeku in Umuahia, to the least of his children, it’s all the same blue blood of activism permanently glued in their veins. In the early 1990s, Nnamdi Kanu’s younger brother, Emmanuel, spearheaded the agitation for the reduction of school fees. Now Nnamdi, is leading a group to demand the freedom of Biafra.

In this interview, their father, HRH Eze Kanu, who said it was activism that made him represent his area three times as Councillor, said he was ready to abdicate his throne over the course for which his son is being detained.
Excerpts:
How do you feel concerning your son appearing in court last week?
I’m very happy that he was brought to court on Monday (last week). From what I heard, as I was not able to go because of my health, I was impressed at least my family members were able to see him.

You may have had high hopes your son would be released last week, but he was not. How do you react to this failed expectation?
Well, it’s true that his release has taken time, but every Biafran in Abuja, I learnt, was protesting that he be released. Even those of them that were not on their Biafran uniform later changed to it, flying their flags and also chanting that he should be released. It made me sad that he was not released because I expected them to release him on that very day, but it didn’t come through, instead they adjourned the case.

Do you think it is just for him to continue to be in custody?
No, I don’t see any reason they should not obey the order, which granted him bail; they should not continue to detain him. He is not supposed to be in cell any more.

What’s your appeal to the Federal Government?
I’m appealing to the Federal Government and (President Muhammadu) Buhari) in particular to release my son because he is not fighting with arms; he is just talking with his mouth. Also, half of Nigerians believe that he has not done any wrong and he should be released. Buhari should tamper justice with mercy and release him because he has not come to destroy, rather he wants to set things right. If Biafra is granted, there is nothing Nigerians will look for in Biafra that they will not get; the same is applicable to Biafrans. Using the case of Lot of Abraham as an example, we want peace. We are not the same as the northerners; so I don’t see any reason any one who knows the right thing will not do it. If we go to other countries, we will see how they gained their independence.

Will you advice your son to stop the Biafran pursuit for his freedom?
No, I will not. Biafra is not only applicable to my family; it is for everyone.

Would you abdicate your throne as condition for Biafra to be realised?
Yes, even in the next 24 hours I will agree if that is the condition necessary for Biafrans to be free. My kingship is not as important as Biafran freedom.

Why is Biafra so important to you?
Biafra is important to me because there is nothing greater than one’s freedom. Yes, we are just like slaves the way we are. For example, the newly appointed ministers, can’t you see we are rejected. All the positions we are supposed to get they shared among themselves; so I want Biafra.

What word do you have for your son, Nnamdi?

I am asking him to be patient; what we do not get today might be got tomorrow. Nothing is going to happen to him, by Gods grace. Let him be careful with the food and water he takes there because they can kill him through any means possible. Even if he dies today, many others will rise for the actualisation of Biafra till the end, but we don’t pray for such to happen.

A shocking yet revealing phone conversation between two politicians has gone viral.

In the audio conversation, which is currently circulating on BlackBerry Messenger and Whatsapp, a Northern politician identified as a People’s Democratic Party member is speaking with another politician from the South West by name, Kunle.

The 20.38-minute audio recording, which appears to have been made by one of the parties or an eavesdropper, the Northern politician, identified simply as Alhaji, reveals the sinister plot of the Northern politicians to attack the business interests of the people from the South East and South South region of the country.

Our investigations have led us to the source of the audio, who does not wish to be named. The Trent can authenticate that the recording is a real telephone conversation that happened just after the inauguration of of President Muhammadu Buhari on May 29, 2015.

Alhaji takes time to reveal the plot of the Northern elites to frustrate people from the South East and South South of Nigeria and revealed that there is a Satanic alliance with some elements of the South West to also join in frustrating the South Easterners and denying them their rights under the constitution to live anywhere they wish and do business anywhere in Nigeria.

The Alhaji reveals that this plan to ‘destroy the Igbos (which means anybody from the South East or South South)’ is central to the strategy of the All Progressives Congress. He also reveals that former Governor Tunde Fashola, of the APC, used the last four years of his tenure in office to execute this plot to destroy the business base of the “Igbos”. He also revealed that the plot includes arson against the markets dominated by “Igbos” in Lagos and denying “Igbos” business licences, even though they qualify for them.

Alhaji, who obviously did not know he was being recorded, went on to reveal a deep hatred by the Northern politicians for the people of the South East and South South. He revealed that if President Goodluck Jonathan had won the March 2015 elections, “they” would have caused Boko Haram to “spread to Kano, to Gombe, to Sokoto, and all over” in order to frustrate Jonathan’s government.

This, in essence, confirms suspicions that Boko Haram and the carnage that the Islamist terrorist group has unleashed on the people of the North East and other parts of Northern Nigeria is a political tool in the hands of the power-hungry elite of the North.

He also mentioned that Jonathan would probably have been killed in office if he remained as President beyond 2015.

Alhaji, who is well spoken, revealing that he is part of the Northern elite made it known that the Northern politicians in the APC do not trust Imo governor, Rochas Okorocha and former Rivers Governor, Rotimi Amaechi. He says, “they are just there, nobody trusts them”. Such comments are instructive especially against the backdrop that Amaechi is acknowledged by chieftains of the APC to have bankrolled 80% of Buhari’s campaign.

In detail, Alhaji reveals that ‘the North’ preferred former Kano Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso because he is radical and had begin to implement some of the plans of alienating people from the South East and South South from Kano. He said that had it not been for Bola Tinubu’s support for Buhari, Kwankwaso would have won the APC presidential ticket in the party’s primary of 2014 held in Lagos.

Alhaji goes on to reveal some long-standing ethnic suspicions between the major ethnic groups in the country. “Who doesn’t have ancestors? Don’t we all have ancestors?” He asked in frustration. He then went on to complain why attempts to buy land from the Igbos ends in rejection “because the ancestors say they shouldn’t sell the land.”

He also claimed that the gang-up against President Goodluck Jonathan in the last election was also religious. According to him, the Muslims in the South-West teamed up with the Muslims in the Northern part of Nigeria to vote out President Jonathan because he was a Christian who empowered the people of the South East, against the original Northern domination plan of keeping the Igbos under subjugation.

There is more.  Listen to the audio – which has disturbing content below:

PETE EDOCHIE Speaks About His Roles In Biafra - Daily Trust -

How was it working with Radio Biafra in the turbulent period of civil war?
It was challenging because we would terminate our transmission at 3.00am and then we would begin to walk home. It was lonely. It was risky, in fact. Again, God helped us. Working in Radio Biafra, The Voice of Biafra was a very big challenge. I had people who inspired me a lot; they are almost all dead now. Ikenna Ndaguba, Tony Ibegbuna was not with us in Voice of Biafra. Earnest Okonkwo, a commentator, Lawrence Emeka, who got his MON before me, and Egbuna Obidike, was controller, The Voice of Biafra. Then we had Eno Iwu, a fantastic broadcaster, and we had a very fine crop of broadcasters then and we transmitted in a couple of languages - we transmitted in Hausa, Yoruba, Tiv and they were all being done by Igbos.

At a point that radio station was a rave of the moment, according to people?
It was because a lot of people listened to us: Okoko Ndem was reading the commentaries and he became a master there. Emmanuel Ogbuagu was doing war reports and each time his signature tune was played, everybody got closer to their radio sets to know how far the Biafran soldiers had gone in chasing back the Nigerian soldiers then. Well, I recall the experience now with a lot of nostalgia. Occasionally, the experiences of Biafra haunts me when I am alone, especially when I remember my colleagues who had since died. That’s life. We must all go some day. We didn’t all come together. We‘ve been going one by one, and a lot of them have gone. I ask this question because some people had the notion that Radio Biafra misled the public.

(Long pause) I don’t know what you mean by Radio Biafra misled the public. The war was forced on us and we had to survive. I ran away from the north; I was born and bred there. I had no reason to run except that I wanted to protect my life. Our people were being hunted down and killed like rats in the north in 1966. First of all, there was a coup on January 15, 1966. The most prominent name in that coup was Major Chukwuma Nzeogwu. He came from Okpanam, now in Delta State.

A lot of prominent Nigerians were killed in that coup. In Eastern Nigeria, Major Emmanuel Ifeajuna was detailed to kill Dr. M.I.Okpara, then Premier of Eastern region. At about that time, Archbishop Macharious from Cyprus was visiting M.I. Okpara. It was a very tough assignment for Ifeajuna. At the end of the day, Okpara survived and other premiers were killed in the north, in the west, in what was then the Midwest, where Okotie Eboh was. Because of that it was termed an ‘Igbo coup’, because the most prominent name in the coup was Chukwuma Nzeogwu. Specifically, people talked about propaganda - they said there was too much propaganda by Radio Biafra which eventually made people see things from the perspective of the radio station and thereby prolonging the war?

I don’t know how old you were then but I guess this question of yours is based on crass ignorance. Whatever we transmitted then, was the actual state of affairs. We gave unadulterated report of what happened at the war front. And if you wanted to know anything about the situation of the war, you had to tune to Voice of Biafra. We did not mislead anybody and that was why when the war ended, the then Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon said there was no victor, there was no vanquished; which was very magnanimous of him actually.
I can recall very vividly that when Gowon took over after his coup on 29th July, 1966, in his very first broadcast, he said: “The basis for unity does not exist in Nigeria.” So probably, that became a very prophetic statement considering what is happening in Nigeria now. He probably may not recall that but I still remember the statement vividly.

And when the war started, there was this conference that was held in Aburi, Ghana where the then Biafran Head of State, Chukwuemeka Ojukwu said: “Instead of all of us to co-exist within a politically suffocating atmosphere, why don’t we pull slightly apart so we can breathe more conveniently?” Ojukwu was advocating confederation. Gowon agreed and we thought there was going to be peace but the BBC gave Ojukwu’s comment a very dangerous interpretation. BBC said Gowon was bamboozled by Ojukwu with his Oxford University knowledge. So Nigerians were compelled to renege on those decisions. It was a very sad thing but all in the past now. Biafra rising sun (IPOB) is the solution.

RELEASE NNAMDI KANU! Pro-Biafra Protesters Shut Down Markets In Anambra
Thousands of the Indigenous People of Biafra members, yesterday, shut down markets and all commercial activities in Nnewi, Anambra State to protest the incarceration of the Director of Radio Biafra and leader of IPOB, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, by the Directorate of State Services, DSS, for over one month.
Members of the secessionist group in their numbers converged at Nnewi from where they marched to the house of the late Ikemba Nnewi, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu to ask for his blessing even in death. Mr. Emeka Onwane, described the protest as a warning signal to the Federal Government to make sure that Kanu, who he said, would appear in court on Tuesday (today) is released unconditionally. Onwane said they decided to shut down Nnewi and made sure there were no commercial and business activities to further press home their demand.

Revelation! Buhari’s government linked to ISIS Emir and fugitive arrested. Featured
 National news   20 August 2015
Ahmed-al-assirThe tip of the iced berg is that the ISIS Emir and Lebanese fugitive was arrested as he flees to Nigeria, and now, the world is asking – did Nigeria’s new regime arrange the abortive escape of Ahmad al-Assir?
Nigeria’s new regime of President Muhammadu Buhari may have granted visa to a fleeing ‘ISIS Emir’, and a Lebanese fugitive, Ahmad al-Assir who was arrested Saturday at the airport. He had changed his appearance by shaving his beards, and was trying to escape to Nigeria through Cairo with fake Palestinian travel document that had a valid visa, according to the Lebanese authorities. His arranged Nigeria’s escape has raised questions about a possible collaboration of Assir with the Nigeria’s new regime.
E-media enquires sent to the Nigerian Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon through the Ambassador Extra Ordinary and Plenipotentiary, Hon Amos Oluwole Idowu and his Administrative Attaché Mr. H. A. Ogunkoya have not been responded to as of press time.
Ahmad al-Assir a fugitive Sunni Muslim cleric has been wanted over deadly clashes with the army as he tried to flee the country.  Assir had reportedly been on the run since June 2013, when he led his supporters through a deadly battle with the army outside the southern city of Sidon, but Saturday morning, the Lebanese authorities arrested him. His escape route through Cairo to Nigeria was being investigated by the Lebanese authorities and may deface a global effort to assist Nigeria in its own fight against Boko Haram, it was gathered.
AFP reported how the army seized Ahmad al-Assir’s headquarters after 48 hours of clashes that killed 18 soldiers, but Assir was able to escape with several of his followers. As a fugitive,   Assir continued to issue audio statements threatening further uncertainties. Lebanese authorities consequently sought death sentences, accusing Assir and 53 others of having formed armed groups that attacked the army, killing officers and soldiers, and possessing explosive materials to perpetrate more attacks.
A possible collaboration between Assir and Nigeria’s new regime of President Muhammadu Buhari may hurt a regime barely 100 days in the offing. Buhari it may be recalled, damaged every trust and respect with the western countries in his years as a dictator – especially with his involvement in the 1984 failed kidnap of Umaru Dikko, a former Nigerian civilian government minister living in the United Kingdom. The kidnapping took place, but the transportation was botched - causing a damaged relations between Nigeria and the United Kingdom. Subsequently, Buhari’s advocacy for a Boko Haram amnesty has also created doubts over his request for assistance from the United States in fighting terror.
Assir is considered an emir in the Islamic State. Months ago, there were reports from small Islamist circles claiming that Assir had become close to al-Qaeda affiliate al-Nusra Front. ISIS, a deadly Islamist militant group has seized a chunk of land stretching from northern Syria to central Iraq, and has proven to be more brutal and more effective at controlling territory it has seized.

The Little Star is Republic of Biafra ” Land of the Rising Sun”. – Pastor Bakare.
Pastor Bakare
The velvet hammer of the Nigerian Pentecostal Movement Dr Tunde Bakare of the Latter Rain Assembly corroborates Adeboye’s prophecy. According to Tunde Bakare, he was shown a massive giant in a vision. The giant looked like 1,000 water tanks built up together, and it was moving inside and outside of Aso Rock. Pastor Bakare said that that giant whose name was revealed in the spirit to be “Anarchy” was walking about intimidating and terrifying people.
“Then all of a sudden,” Bakare continued, “The giant entered a high street, and there was this little boy who refused to be intimidated by that massive giant. The little boy refused to move. He just stood like that. He did not say a word.
He just pointed a finger and the giant collapsed. Out of the collapsed giant, came a terrible dust so thick that it began to blow like a wind, like a wind is blowing it. Every man that had bowed to that massive giant became blind by that dust.
It was just entering their eyes and they became blind. And I was saying, ‘Lord, who will open their eyes?’.
They remained blind. Then I saw a little star; very tiny star. It began to glow, it began to glow, and engulfed the entire city. And God said to me, ‘The plague is over, the overflow has begun! When the disaster begins to hit, when the disaster begins to hit, the star will begin to shine”’,

Biafra restoration efforts on course – IPOB leader

Biafrans all over the world has been assured that the restoration drive for the independence of Biafra as a sovereign state was still on course more than ever before.
The assurance was made during an interview yesterday by Uche Mefor, Deputy Director of Radio Biafra, and Deputy Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). He explained that the Biafra independence struggle was a divinely instituted struggle, and as such that nothing and nobody would be able to derail it.
During the interview, where he discussed a wide range of issues on Biafran restoration effort, Mefor promised Biafrans that the leadership of IPOB was still intact, just as the leader of the group, Nnamdi Kanu left it. “There is no problem with the Biafran restoration drive” he said.
According to the Deputy Biafran leader, those fearful that the group may not be able to pull through now that its leader was being held by the Nigerian government should not be worried. He said that the excellent structures Kanu laid for IPOB was solid enough to remain for hundreds of years to come.
He also said that those in the current struggle were “hardcore” Biafrans whose zeal and hunger to restore their country far outweigh any other consideration.
His words: “The foundation that our leader, Nnamdi Kanu, laid is rock solid and the leadership is driven by hardcore Biafrans who will sacrifice anything for Biafra”.
Continuing, Mefor said that what some people saw as trouble in the leadership was just minor administrative issue that had been sorted out to make way for better coordination of IPOB programmes. “It was simply an administrative issue that has long been smoothened out as we continue with the struggle”, he said.
Mefor took the opportunity to commend and charge all Biafrans for having, so far, given everything within their ability to have their leader released, as well as to have Biafra restored. Part of his words read: “Yes of course. I want to commend the courage and drive of Biafran men, women and children, who have taken the responsibilities upon their shoulders; haven followed the tradition, the principles, and the footsteps of our leader Nnamdi Kanu. I ask them to continue to strengthen themselves from one level to the other” He assured them that notwithstanding the number of armored tanks the Nigeria establishment had and the number of guns in their armory that what the people would need to prevail would be not to prevaricate, retreat or surrender.“We should never step back until Biafra is restored” he charged.

Biafra: Harassment, intimidation will not solve the problem – Obiozor

Former Nigerian ambassador to the United States of America (USA), Israel and Cyprus, Prof. George Obiozor, over the week, asked the Federal Government to tread with caution in dealing with the pro-Biafra agitators, insisting that the resort to use of force or intimidation will only boomerang and exacerbate an already bad situation.
Obiozor, who exclusively spoke to The AUTHORITY on Sunday in Lagos, advised the federal government not to repeat the mistake of 2009 when Mr. Mohammed Yusuf, founder of the militant Islamist group, Boko Haram, was arrested and killed, as that line of action will only pin the nation down. More so, the international community will always condemn the killings of civilians.
The former Director General of the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), said what the government should do in the pro-Biafra protest, and in the name of national unity, is to talk with leaders in the South East, who, he expect, would tell government the truth.
And the truth, he said, is that for 44 years, the South East has been ignored, with almost all governments treating the zone as a defeated people.

“We defeated you, we will ignore you, you won’t even say a word. If you say anything, we jail you, or we deal with you,” are some of the verbal violent remarks often made with impunity by even some notable Nigerians, including Dr. Junaidu Mohammed, Obiozor said.
The former envoy, who declared that “In Nigeria, every crisis is protracted” recalls that even as the federal government is currently talking about ending the Boko Haram insurgency by December, ending it militarily does not amount to ending it socially?
“If you end it militarily, have you ended it socially? Have you ended the rehabilitation? Have you seen the reaction of the people who will be returning to their homes?” He wondered, calling on government to look more at things that unite, and not the things that divide us, including the use of the so called ‘body language’ as well as violent language.
Describing ‘body language’ as part of the problem of Nigeria, Obiozor said ‘body language’ has produced lopsided appointments, where all key positions in Nigeria under President Muhammadu Buhari, tilt towards one section of the country.
And since everything in Nigeria is sensitive, including political office holding, a leader, he said, must know the sensitivity of the country he/she wants to govern in such a way that no section is ignored or made to feel aggrieved.
According to him, the South East has been ignored for so long and has the shortest and the least number of federal highways, with just two Onitsha-Enugu and Enugu-Port Harcourt Roads. And as bad as that is, none of roads has existed in last 20 years, he said.
He therefore wondered why any government would think a people could swallow such insult forever, much as the new trend of ‘body language’ is not making things any better.
“When you ignore certain things, whether you call it marginalization or not, but when it results to what is called relative deprivation, you create grievance on that sector that feels aggrieved. And then what happens is that in every society, in fact, even in the most powerful society in the world, when any section feels aggrieved, you try to redress it, explain it.
“You don’t go and abuse them. Or say through body language that when you were looking for geniuses, it was only in Igbo land that you did not find them. Nobody in the world will agree with you and nobody in Nigeria will agree with you,” Obiozor said.
Obiozor, who reminded that when you threaten a people for too long, they tend to resist, called on those opting for use of force in the pro-Biafra protest, to stop the harassment, including use of violent language, stressing that a president must attend to the grievances of any section of the country at all times, whether they voted for him or not.
“Who are those anonymous boys you want to shoot? They are unarmed people. And what do you do? You provoke the thing and exacerbated it by use of violence and intimidation, including verbal violence. It does not solve the problem,” he said.
He however warned that the new generation of Ndigbo, those who didn’t witness the war, are different and are not as intimidated as the older generation, who have a lot to defend and protect. They are bold, even sometimes reckless, he maintained.
He said not many Igbo sons and daughters know the controversial Nnamdi Kanu, whose arrest sparked off the protest, noting that what government should have done was to go about the issue quietly.
“Many Igbo don’t know him. Honestly, I have never heard of such a person like that until I learnt he was arrested. In fact, many people of our generation are taken by surprise by what is going on. But then, it is a surprise that we should study. What is the cause of this sudden eruption, what is going on here?” Those, he said, should preoccupy the government, instead.
Furthermore, he reminded that the more we contain our conflicts, crisis and also disintegrative tendencies, including violent utterances of our leaders, the better for the country, adding that one does not inflict injury on oneself and expect that it will be healed.
Lamenting that Nigeria is governed by selective morality, double standard and ferocious paradox, he said people only raise their voices when it comes to Ndigbo.
Compared to the nation’s founding fathers, who he describes as leaders with address that knew where they were coming from, Obiozor said what we have now is progression of “flight by night leaders that emerged after the civil war; mediocre that would want to bring everything to their level.
The professor of international relations, who said history is still alive, warned that those who forget their history live to regret it, saying that Nigeria has forgotten her history. According to him, all the things that are causing tragedies today in Nigeria, “whether you are talking of religion, leadership, resource control, political parties etc… our founding fathers handled them very well and tried to create a true federalism, whereby competition replaced conflict.”
Although politics in itself is an endemic sense of conflict because people are looking for their interest, Obiozor said when conflict occurs, you do consultation, you do compromise, and go back to competition. What governs politics, he said, are the three Cs: Conflict, competition and cooperation.
But because leadership is in the hands of aggrieved people, the whole country is suffering from national psychosis, he concluded.

Biafra: Igbo on legitimate struggle, by Yerima
By: Dailytime Nigeria Tuesday, 01 Dec 2015 10:57PM
Headlines, News

Amidst a renewed agitation by pro-Biafra protesters across the South east and South south parts of the country with the subsequent clamp down on them by the Federal Government, a former governor of Zamfara State, Ahmad Sani Yerima, has said that the Biafra agitators were on a legitimat
e struggle for self determination.

The former governor, now a Senator, told newsmen that consequently, the federal government and the security agencies must allow them to exercise their fundamental human rights as guaranteed by the Constitution.

Yerima, a politician known for his radical views on national issues, cautioned President Muhammadu Buhari and the Nigeria Armed Forces against the use of force on the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and the Movement for the Survival of the Sovereign State of Biafra ( MASSOB), saying the groups were on a legitimate struggle for self-determination and should be allowed to exercise their fundamental rights.

He disagreed with President Buhari and the top echelon of the Nigeria Armed Forces on the handling of the renewed agitation by the groups to revive the defunct Republic of Biafra saying they should be more matured and accommodating in a democracy.

Yarima, who was speaking in Abuja said it was wrong for people to classify the agitators who have been campaigning for the revival of the defunct Republic of Biafra as secessionist because they have legitimate rights under the Nigerian Constitution to express their views on any issue.

He said that rather than treat the agitators as rebels who must be forced to either remain in Nigeria or be crushed, the Federal Government should find out why the agitation has been growing by the day.

In recent weeks, there have been a series of public demonstrations across the five states of the South-East geo- political zone as well as spreading into Delta and Rivers states in the South- South geo- political zone. In the wake of the mass rallies, President Buhari had warned the groups that he would not tolerate actions that could lead to the dismemberment of the country.

On the strength of that pronouncement, the Nigeria Armed Forces has also issued warnings to the agitators to bury their dreams of having a separate country or be prepared to face the full weight of the military. But Yarima argued that though he believed in the unity of Nigeria, the agitators should be allowed to express their views freely.

According to him, there should be no compulsion in a democracy and the Indigenous People of Biafra must not be compelled to belong to Nigeria. He said that rather than use force to subdue the agitators, the Federal Government could hold a referendum in the region to ascertain if it is the wish of the majority of the people to pull out of Nigeria and form a new country.
“These are people that want self determination. They believe that they are homogeneous in terms of tribe, language and culture and they want to live together and have their own community.

“In the end, you see, this is politics. I don’t believe in using force to make them succumb, submit or follow Nigeria and to stay in Nigeria”, he stressed.

It would be recalled that the Nigeria Army relying on the military Rule of Engagement for internal security operations, recently warned the pro- Biafra agitators to desist from holding rallies in different towns and cities as the military had powers under the constitution to suppress any act insurrection or civil disobedience.
Following allegations of killings of Igbo in some parts of the north, Nigeria went to war in 1967 when the then Military Governor of the defunct Eastern Region, Col. Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu declared the birth of Republic of Biafra from Nigeria. The war raged for 30 months leaving deaths and destruction in its wake before the secessionists surrendered.

Leader of Islamist sect group Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau has dismissed the Army’s claim of massive gains in the fight to annihilate the terror group in Nigeria’s Northeast. He also mocked President Muhammadu Buhari calling him a liar.
In a 25-minute recording in Hausa and Arabic released via social media, Shekau said: “They (the military) lied that they have confiscated our arms, that we have been chased out of our territories, that we are in disarray.
“We are alive, I am alive, this is my voice, more audible than it was before. This is Shekau.”
Speaking further, the Boko Haram leader said: “Buhari is a liar and has deceived you. The army spokesman is also lying. He and his footsoldiers always run helter-skelter whenever we come face to face with them….
“Buhari, you once claimed that you will crush us in three months. How can you crush us?”
Although there was no indication of where or when the recording was done, reports suggest it must have have been in recent days.
Breaking news!!!!! Live update!! Army, Navy and police are shooting at unarmed Pro-Biafra at River Niger Bridge Onitsha

Biafra Protest: Police IG Directs South East Governors To Declare Curfew in Abia, Anambra, Etc

Ag. IGP SOLOMON E. ARASE
The Biafra loyalists on Monday shut down major markets and roads in Abia and Anambra states to press their demand.
A competent source, who pleaded not to be named said that the Arase’s advice to the South-east governors is being considering for implementation.

Kogi Poll: Should INEC Have Cancelled The Entire Election - and Conduct A Fresh One?
Governors in the south-east states are currently considering option of declaring curfew to tame the ongoing protest by some group of south easterners calling for the state of Biafra. According to information available to 247ureports.com, the south east governors were acting on the direction of the Inspector General of Police – this afternoon on the telephone to a group of south east governors.
IPOB members during the protest
247ureports.com reliably gathered that the Inspector General of Police Solomon Arase had earlier advised one of the governors – [Abia State Governor] to declare the curfew before the escalation of the protest. The advise had come following Governor Ikpeazu telephone call to the Police Inspector General seeking for assistance over the growing Biafra protest. Governor Ikpeazu had called requesting for help from the IGP. The IGP directed him to declare a curfew.
Today, the IGP repeated the advise to declare a curfew

We must remember them
Please IPOB and all pro Biafran restoration must take new approach. Let them not just killing us. We must kill them back and again if it is possible. Let Biafran nation declared and host the flag.  Attack military barracks and get weapons and armored cars for our fight. We can’t use hand to fight.

We’ll be ruthless against any pro-Biafra protest in Lagos – Army

We’ll be ruthless against any pro-Biafra protest in Lagos – Army
Isidore Henry Edet said: Biafra agitators must desist from acts of violence
The army would do anything to protect the integrity and unity of Nigeria.
For those committing treasonable felony and arson, as well as wanton destruction of lives and property, we shall apply the Rules of Engagement to the letter.
He hopes the army would not be called upon, but if such order is received   he said the Rules of Engagement would be applied to the letter.
According to General Edet, “The Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended) vide Section 217 (2) (c) provides that the Armed Forces of Nigeria shall suppress insurrection and act in aid of civil authority to restore order when called upon to do so by the President, Commander-in-Chief”.
He also said, “This provision is reinforced by Section (8) (1) and (3) of the Armed Forces Act, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, (LFN) 2004.
“This presupposes that troops have to use necessary force to quell crisis resulting in deaths, injury and damage to property.”
“Any officer or soldier found aiding or abetting any act of arson, vandalism or unprofessional conduct, will be severely dealt with according to extant laws,’’
As the next stage for pro-Biafra and release Nnamdi Kanu demonstrations starts to gather momentum in Lagos, the Nigerian Army 81 Division has warned residents of Lagos State not to join such agitation for the creation of Biafra. Sounding the warning was the General Officer Commanding, 81 Division, Maj. Gen. Isidore Edet (from Akwa Ibom) also assured residents of Lagos that Lagos will be secured against Boko Haram attacks.
Speaking on Boko Haram Edet said, “We cannot disclose the details yet but we are working round the clock to ensure that Boko Haram does not find a safe haven in Lagos, the South-West or any part of the country.“There is no cause for alarm and there is no need for alarm.”He also said that , “People should not worry about the influx of terrorists into Lagos or the South-West. With the heat in the North-East, most of them have lost the will to fight and are relocating to other parts of the country where they take up jobs as construction workers”. “But we have been arresting suspected Boko Haram leaders and their foot soldiers. We have been working with other security agencies and a lot of them have been arrested this past month.”

IPOB MEMBERS KILLED IN ONITSHA
David Cameron
ALARM!!!: ATROCIOUS CONSPIRACY TO KILL NNAMDI KANU BY BRITISH AND NIGERIA GOVERNMENT
DAVID CAMERON [British Prime Minister]
British government, the mother of all liars and representative of Lucifer on earth and their evil collaborators, the Nigeria government, has conspired and concluded on a master plan to murder the Director of Radio Biafra and the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu who is presently held captive extra-judicially in the detention camp of the Nigeria secret service DSS by systematic torture and inhuman treatment with a constant program of excruciating and unfathomable regime of painful treatment. We are hereby raising an alarm to the international community that NNAMDI KANU'S LIFE IS IN GREAT DANGER. Britain has written a murderous script for the murder of Nnamdi Kanu and their Nigerian Collaborators are playing the script step by step.
JAMES DUDDRIDGE
British government lied to the whole world when they visited Nnamdi Kanu in the DSS facility by saying that Nnamdi Kanu was well taken care of and that he did not solicit for the assistance of the British government.THESE ARE LIES."The British consular team led by James Duddridge visited Nnamdi Kanu on 3rd November 2015 where he is being detained in Abuja. According to Mr Duddridge, "Mr Nnamdi Kanu confirmed to us that he has access to a lawyer and that he does not require the British government to make any further representations to the Nigerian Authorities on his behalf". These are lies. LIES LIES LIES!!! Nnamdi Kanu's Lawyer is only granted limited access to him and he, Nnamdi Kanu never said he did not require the British government assistance or for them to make further representation to the Nigeria Authorities on his behalf. WE ARE LETTING THE WORLD TO KNOW THAT BRITAIN AND THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT ARE DETERMINED TO MURDER THE LEADER OF INDIGENOUS PEOPLE OF BIAFRA, MAZI NNAMDI KANU IN THE DSS CELL IN ABUJA.
inhuman treatment with a constant program of excruciating and unfathomable regime of painful treatment. We are hereby raising an alarm to the international community that NNAMDI KANU'S LIFE IS IN GREAT DANGER. Britain has written a murderous script for the murder of Nnamdi Kanu and their Nigerian Collaborators are playing the script step by step.
MUHAMADU BUHARI PRESIDENT OF THE NIGERIA-A TERRORIST SPONSOR
During the Nigerian/Biafran war of 1967-1970 Britain masterminded the killing of over one million Biafra children by enforcing both land and air blockade against Biafrans leading to mass starvation and sponsored a genocidal war of extermination of the Biafran people during which over five million Biafrans were killed. Just as they are doing today, they lied to the world about it and blanketed the news and information about the pogrom they committed. They are at it again, by sponsoring the systematic murder of Nnamdi Kanu and keeping the world in the dark about it. Nnamdi Kanu was reported to have collapsed on two or more different occasions during DSS torture but was revived several minutes later. The British government are aware of what Nnamdi Kanu is going through and is completely complicit about it having supplied Mohammadu Buhari with 13 trained British snippers to kill Nnamdi Kanu earlier this year on the 30th of May 2015, during the rememberance day celebration of our dead Heroes at Aba, Abia State. That plot failed because Nnamdi Kanu got wind of it and raised the alarm on Radio Biafra and they could no longer carry out the plan. Now that Nnamdi Kanu is in their net, they have determined that he will not leave there alive. If not, there is no justification as to why the DSS have consistently flouted three court orders to release Nnadi Kanu whose bail conditions has been met. We are charging the Attorney General of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Minister for Justice Mohammed Adoke (SAN) to stand up, speak out and defend the Law and constitution of Nigeria to which he swore to uphold, in this blatant slap on the Nigeria law and constitution by the Nigeria DSS, if his reputation and that of Nigeria justice system is not to be brought to a humiliating disrepute. The Nigeria Bar Association should also rise up to the challenge to bring its weight to bear on the Nigeria DSS on this unprecedented assault to the rule of law in Nigeria.

Mallam Abubakar Malami, SAN
Nnamdi Kanu was arrested and charged to court on the charges of "criminal conspiracy, intimidation and belonging to an unlawful society", the charge for which the magistrate granted him bail in one of the most stringent and unimaginable bail conditions which was miraculously met. But the Nigeria DSS "which is higher than the law court and also above the law in Nigeria" flagrantly disobeyed the court order to release him. Is it not clear to the international community that NIGERIA IS A LAWLESS STATE? A country whose laws makes no meaning to their "so called law enforcement agents". Is it not clear to the whole whole that General Mohammadu Buhari is not practicing democracy? Is it not clear to the whole whole world that Buhari is a dictator? The International Criminal Court, ICC is hereby put on notice about the activities of British government in Nigeria. The International Criminal Court, ICC is hereby put on notice about the criminal practices of the Nigeria Secret Service DSS and the Nigeria dictator president, Mohammadu Buhari. British Government should be advised to go home and mind their country and stop meddling in Nigeria internal affairs.
NNAMDI KANU (Being rough handled by DSS)
NNAMDI KANU (In Serious Pains)
We are therefore calling on the International community, International Human Rights Organisation, Civil Liberties Organisation, United Nations Organisation for Human Right, United Nations Organisation, The United States Congress and Human Rights Lawyers to come to the aid of the Director of Radio Biafra and the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB Nnamdi Kanu and save his life now before its too late. Biafrans and in fact the Indigenous People of Biafra will not stop agitating and protesting (peacefully) demanding the unconditional release of the leader of IPOB and the Director of Radio Biafra Mazi Namdi Kanu until he is released. Long Live Biafra.

OE,NewsPoint : OEAS ISSUES DEMANDS TO NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT ON BIAFRA ;-
Washington DC: Biafra is a charter member of the Organization of Emerging African States (OEAS), an international governmental organization that promotes self-determination and the end to colonial era boundaries in Africa.
Today the people of Biafra are locked in an emerging struggle with the Nigeria federal government, the inevitable result of which will be self-determination for Biafra. Unfortunately the Nigerian government has resorted to summary execution and detention of Biafran patriots. The situation will surely escalate unless immediate action is taken.
The OEAS calls for the Nigerian government to meet the three following demands:
1. Immediate release from jail of Biafra Zionist Movement, MASSOB, IPOB and Radio Biafra supporters including Benjamin Onwuka and Nnamdi Kanu.
2. All federal military and police FORCES to stand down and return to their barracks.
3. A snap referendum on Biafran self-determination to be held within 90 days with OEAS, UNPO, and nonaligned observers supervising the balloting process.
Failure to meet these demands will undoubtedly result in civil strife as nonviolent Biafran protestors pay with their blood for their chance at independence. Regardless of what measuresthe Nigerian federal government may take, the die is cast for independence and Biafrans will not be deterred.
There is one chance for a peaceful referendum, a life line is being thrown to the Nigerian government which they ignore at their own peril. The Biafran people are patient but will not be indiscriminately murdered by the Nigerian government without resisting to the full extent of their human rights.

OE,NewsPoint : More groups declare support for Biafra Agitators ;-

A group known as Ndigbo United Assembly NUA, on Tuesday spoke on the renewed agitation for the realization of Biafra.

The group made this known to newsmen during a demonstration embarked upon by members of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, President-General of NUA, Comrade Peter Okala said: “The Biafran agitation is positive in the sense that our colonial masters knew our differences before making a contract of amalgamation to try if we could understand ourselves.
“But the fact remains that till date, the centre could not hold and the South East is still hated with passion by our Northern and South West brothers.

“Could you imagine Wole Soyinka using Igbo people to popularize his seminar topic in far away United States of America, where he was quoted as saying that Igbo people can only vote at the direction of their stomach? What kind of a hopeless statement from a so-called prominent citizen is that?

“In Nigeria today, if one is asked to name 100 most corrupt people in Nigeria who have emptied our treasury, hardly will an Igbo man be among them.

“We are abused in every part of Nigeria as people, who could do anything to get money simply because the West is in control of the media and the North has partnered with them to marginalize the South-East.”

Okala also observed that the inability of political office holders in the South -East to join the pro-Biafra movement was not a crime because it may be a treason in Nigerian laws, but “it’s the right of every person to choose an association or a country he or she should belong to and there is no law that will empower anyone or institution to stop.”

However, a coalition of civil society organizations based in the South-East geo-political zone has advised the Federal Government to stop trying to compromise some individuals and groups, in an attempt to suppress the on-going agitations.

According to the group, such will end up escalating the issue, which may threaten national security.

In a press statement, yesterday in Onitsha, Anambra State, the groups stated that the Federal Government must be told in a clear terms that those being compromised and influenced to recant are not in control of the movement and millions of its supporters and sympathizers.

The statement was jointly signed on their behalf by Comrade Aloysius Attah, for CLO; Comrade Peter Onyegiri for Centre for Human Rights & Peace Advocacy; Comrade Samuel Njoku for Human Rights Club (a project of LRRDC); Comrade Justus Uche Ijeoma for Forum for Justice, Equity & Defence of Human Rights.

Others are Comrade Chike Umeh for Society Advocacy Watch Project; Obianuju Joy Igboeli, Esq. for Anambra Human Rights Forum; Comrade Emeka Umeagbalasi for Intersociety; Comrade Alex Olisa for South-East Good Governance Forum and Eze Eluchie for: PADDI Foundation.

They said the the first step was to withdraw all trumped up charges leveled against IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu and release him unconditionally with immediate effect.

Continuing, the groups said
“This is why in a bid to justify crumbs federally received, they end up on the pages of newspapers with their faceless and mushroom groups.

“A Nigeria of pluralism and democratic constitutionalism, equality and fairness with no distinction in theory and practice as to ethnicity, place of birth, education, sex, class, oligarchic or aristocratic background and religion is always a preferred option and can be safely described as a united Nigeria.

“But a Nigeria of the opposite remains the worst option, while assertion of right to independent statehood is its best alternative. This is because it is better to live free in a land flowing with poverty than to live buoyantly in a land shackled and manacled by chains of slavery and enslavement.

“To assuage the earth-shaking agitations and placate the people of the Southeast zone, all the age-long structural imbalances must be redressed especially the country’s geopolitical imbalances including lopsidedness in the number of States, LGAs, Senatorial Districts, Federal Constituencies, Federal Roads, Fiscal Allocations and geopolitical compositions of the field formations and headships of the Army, Police, Air Force, Navy, DSS, NIA, FRSC, Prisons and Customs.

“In the area of federal public office holders in Nigeria drawn from the six geopolitical zones, the Southeast zone is abysmally represented. For instance, no senior police officer from the zone is among the current heads of the country’s 12 Police Zonal Commands and the few serving AIGs from the zone have since gone on statutory retirement leaving the zone no known serving AIGs out of the country’s current Police AIGs of at least 22.

“All these are owing to age-long deliberate policy designed to stunt their promotions and posting till in the twilight of their statutory retirements when they are given retirement promotions. The composition of CPs and AIGs’ cadres of the Nigeria Police Force is also grossly lopsided in fragrant breach of Section 14 (3) of the 1999 Constitution.

“The same gross lopsided composition is the case in the Nigerian Custom, Nigerian Immigration Service, the Nigerian Prisons Service, the DSS, the NIA, Army, Navy and the Air Force.

“In the headships of SPUs, ATSs, SARS, Federal Highway Police, the Mobile Police and Border Police composition and headship in the Nigeria Police Force; same is the case; likewise the country’s federal Appeal and Federal High Court and Appeal and Supreme Court Judges and Justices in which the zone is acutely represented.

40,000 IPOB members shut down S’East for detained Radio Biafra boss

Protesters ground Onitsha, Aba, Owerri, other places
Crowd defies military threat

Kanu’s trial stalled
Jewish community makes case for one Nigeria

By  Nwabueze Okonkwo Chimaobi Nwaiwu, Nnewi, Chinonso Alozie & Ugochukwu Alaribe
Vehement in their resolve to get the detained Radio Biafra boss Nnamdi Kanu released and to actualze their agitation for the sovereign state of Biafra, no fewer than 40,000 members and sympathizers of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, yesterday, shut down commercial and business  activities in the South East states as they took to the streets to vent their spleen.
This was even as hundreds of agitators  thronged the court located at Wuse Zone 2, Abuja, yesterday, to show solidarity to Kanu who has been in detention for the past two months.
The detained pro-Biafra leader was supposed to be produced in court yesterday, in Abuja but the trial was stalled over the death of the Chief Magistrate’s father.
In Onitsha,  the commercial city of Anambra State and its environs of Obosi and Nkpor, the protesters held sway in a non-violent procession.
Vehicular movements were  grounded by the intimidating number of the IPOB  members and their sympathizers, who marched from the Niger Bridge Head to the former Ogbunike Toll Gate to register their anger against the continued detention of Mr. Kanu.
The blocking of the Niger Bridge disrupted vehicular movements for over seven hours before normalcy was restored on the bridge.
The attempt by the military to disperse them failed because of their number and their resort to non-violence. The military however showed professionalism that had never been witnessed in Onitsha, under similar situation as they carefully implored the agitators to free the road for other users.
Onitsha-Owerri Road was also blocked by IPOB protesters, who  made entry in and out of Onitsha difficult for all road users.
Intimidating
The crowd was so intimidating that some businesses and markets located along the road including Bridge Head Market, Onitsha Patent and Proprietary Medicine Dealers Market, Ochanja Market, all  in Onitsha; New Auto Spare Parts Market and New Tyre Market Nkpor; Building Materials Market Ogidi and Bakery Market, also in Ogidi  equally  closed shops as a result of the protest.
When Vanguard sought to know why they closed their shops, some said they  did it in solidarity, while others said they were afraid of being invaded by the protesters.
The protesting IPOB members were peaceful contrary to allegations that the  traders were forced to close their shops or  their shops invaded to loot their goods.
One of their leaders and spokesman of IPOB, Mr. Emma Powerful, who spoke to newsmen said: “We decided to avoid coming close to markets, especially Onitsha Main Market, because of the false allegation by some leaders of the traders, who have been paid to destroy our image with allegations of looting and destroying the traders’ goods.
“We are not protesting against our brothers and sisters who are doing their genuine business of trading and other businesses. So, there is no reason to attack anybody or invade their shops, neither are we begging anybody to come and join in the protest.
“People whose lives and businesses have been destroyed by government policies join us without invitation, while others join in solidarity. Allegation of infiltration into our fold is also false, baseless and figments of  the imagination of those making it. We are only protesting to secure the release of our leader,” he said
In his chat with newsmen,  National Coordinator of IPOB, Mr. Chidiebere Onwudiwe, who was flanked by Mr. Powerful, said that the protest was a result of the detention of Mr. Kanu and marginalization of the South East, adding that the protest will continue  on Wednesday.
Aba also grounded
In Aba, Abia State, it was a carnival of sort as over 20,000 members of the group, yesterday, fulfilled their threat to shut down markets and other commercial centres in protest against the continued detention of its leader, and host of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.
The protesters who adorned Biafra emblems and Kanu’s portraits with speakers mounted on motorcycles, marched from the dilapidated Port Harcourt Road through Asa Road from where they divided into smaller groups to other areas of the city, ensuring that all markets and shops along the areas were shut.  There was heavy traffic  when the protest started, but as at 10a.m.,  the roads were deserted as IPOB members marched, singing Biafra songs and Kanu’s praises.
Vanguard gathered that as early as 8a.m., members of the group had stormed Ariaria International, Ekeoha, Cemetery and Ngwa Road markets to ensure that traders did not defy the order to shut their businesses.
Along Azikiwe and St. Michael’s roads by Mosque Street junction, shop owners, who had already opened for business hurriedly shut down as IPOB members were sighted at the area.
However, the Ehere modern market on Ikot Ekpene Road was open as traders went about their businesses without molestation.
Roadblock
Some youths later mounted a roadblock at St.Michael’s Road by Mosque Street junction, making it impossible for motorists to pass through the area, but the roadblock was later dismantled.
While marching along Aba-Owerri Road, a group of IPOB members blocked the gate of Keystone Bank  opposite the State Polytechnic, insisting that the Nigerian flag mounted at the bank premises must be removed.
It was a theatre of confusion as some IPOB  members, who spoke to Vanguard, insisted that the bank must comply with the order to shut down before they left the area.
The situation created tension in the city as banks and schools opened with caution. Business centres along the ever busy Asa Road located at the city centre, were deserted and later opened at  3.30p.m.  when the group had passed through the main park area.
A cross section of members of the group who spoke to newsmen insisted that the protest would continue until Kanu regained freedom and the  actualization of an independent state of Biafra became a reality.
“This is just the first stage of the protest, if they don’t release our Director, they will be surprised by the next stage of our protest. We are going to shut Nigeria. We are not joking about it,” they chorused.
When contacted, Abia Police spokesman, DSP Ezekiel Onyeke, said they were monitoring the situation and assured that the Police would not fold their arms and watch the protesters breach the peace of the state.
Kanu’s trial stalled
The protest however became more grievous when the IPOB members received a message from their colleagues in Abuja that the court did not sit  yesterday and neither was their leader, Kanu produced in court.
Hearing on his  case was stalled following the death of the magistrate’s father.
Kanu was brought before an Abuja Magistrate’s Court by the Department of State Service, DSS, on allegations of criminal conspiracy, engaging in unlawful society and criminal intimidation, which violate Section 97, 97B and 397 of the penal code.
The magistrate, Usman Shuaibu, had on November 23 adjourned sitting till December 1 for ruling, but failed to appear, citing the death of his father.
According to the court registrar, Salisu Yinusa, the magistrate had to travel to prepare for the burial of his father.
The court was, however, considering December 16 for ruling on the matter, but the registrar said that date was still tentative.
One of Kanu’s lawyers, Marcel Dim-Udebuani, told  journalists that his client had no problem with the recent development, but hoped for a favourable judgment when the magistrate returned.
Call to release Kanu
Meanwhile, the General Overseer of the God’s Covenant of Christ Sabbath Mission, High Priest Clifford Nmenabu has called on the Federal Government of Nigeria, to free the Radio Biafra Director, Mr. Kanu from detention.
Nmenabu made the call at Amanachi, Orsu Local Government Area,   while addressing journalists on the recent   pro-Biafra demonstrations in the country.
Nnamdi Kanu
He said that Kanu had done nothing to deserve such a treatment for too long by the Federal Government, adding that Kanu was only seeking the freedom of his people.
He also called on the international community to come to the aid of the Biafrans, who, he said, had been marginalized in the country for too long.
On the issue of the existence of the Radio Biafra, he said that it was divinely created to save the oppressed in the society. He said, “ Kanu was not speaking against any person or group of people. His broadcast were truth-oriented and conscience awakening. It was a divine arrangement for a renaissance and liberation of a particular sect that is under bondage.”
A case for one Nigeria
Worried by the agitation for a sovereign state of Biafra, the Nigerian-Jewish community has reiterated its support for Nigeria as one indivisible entity notwithstanding dissatisfaction raised by some ethnic groups.
The National President, Pan Africa Jewish Alliance, PAJA, Most Rev. Kohen Okorie who made the call at a press briefing in Onitsha, Anambra state, yesterday to usher in a week-long centenary celebration of Sabbaths in Nigeria, Nigerian-Jews disagreed with Biafra agitators who are calling for secession from the country..
According to him, “We so much believe in the unity of Nigeria. The Jewish community in Nigeria in conjunction with Pan Africa Jewish Alliance PAJA disagrees with the detained Director of Radio Biafra, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, on the nation of Biafra to secede from Nigeria.”
Although we accept him as an Igbo Jew and support most of his views on Igbo nation but we totally disagrees with him on secession”.
Okorie, however, called on Nigerians to always think of how they would build and unite the country instead of how they would divide it.

This young Biafran was killed on 9th Novermber by the Nigeria government because he is a Biafran because he need his freedom he want his identity . He was buried yesterday 30th November 2015 and as we mourn the death of our brother , remember they killers of Biafrans shall never be forgiven by we Biafrans we shall revenge the death of our brothers both the dead one and the ones the wounded and jailed ones .Nigeria and Britain will remain the enemies of Biafran from generation to generation. RIP in peace Nwa Chineke !!!! We shall not forget you.

Hon. Muozoba Johnbosco

WHILE I PLEAD WITH NDI IGBO WHO ARE PROTESTING THE CONTINUED DETENTION OF KANU TO ALLOW SPACE FOR A ROUND TABLE DIALOGUE ON THE ISSUE, AND AT THE SAME TIME I PLEAD WITH THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT TO BE CAUTIOUS OVER THE WHOLE SAGA, AND GIVE ROOM FOR ROUND DIALOGUE TO RESOLVE THE WHOLE ISSUES; IF AFTER BATTLES IN THE FIELD, PEOPLE STILL GO TO ROUND TABLE, WHY NOT GO TO TABLE NOW AND AVOID FURTHER KILLINGS OF UNARMED CIVILIANS. TODAY IT IS MY SISTER, TOMORROW IT COULD BE YOU OR YOUR SISTER TOO.
MY RESIGNATION IS A PROTEST ON THE MODE OF OPERATION OF OHANEZE ,WHICH I THINK IS TOTALLY DISJOINTED FROM THE FEELING OF THOSE THEY (WE) ARE SUPPOSED TO LEAD, AND I CANNOT BE IN SUCH GROUP WHICH LACK THE COURAGE AND WISDOM TO SHAPE THE FUTURE OF NDI IGBO IN NIGERIAN NATION OF TODAY. Biafra: Rt. Rev Bishop Abraham Chris & CD, condemns Army’s threat to pro-Biafra groups Featured

 21 November 2015
IPOB MILLIONS MARCH
From Jeff Amechi Agbodo, Onitsha and David Onwuchekwa, Nnewi
Campaign for Democracy (CD) has urged the military to leave pro-Biafra groups alone but face immediate challenges of Boko Haram insurgence that has ravaged the North East.
The group said threats by the military to clampdown on pro-Biafra groups, who were protesting the arrest of leader of Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) and Director of Radio Biafra, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu was unconstitutional and abuse of human right should they venture into it. CD Chairman in the South-East, Dede Uzor A. Uzor, said the group has constitutional right to embark on peaceful protest calling for the release of their leader who was arrested by security agents. He further added that any attempt by the Army to touch any member of the group would amount to breach of fundamental human rights of the members, which he said was against the international court justice.
In a related development, General Overseer of Mount Zion Faith Global Liberation Ministries a.ka. By Fire By Fire, Nnewi, Anambra State, Rt Rev Bishop Abraham Chris Udeh has warned against the use of force on the protesters. Bishop Udeh gave the warning, yesterday, at Akabukwu Uruagu, Nnewi after a ministration. He said threats by the military to use force against those demanding for Kanu’s release would be counter-productive and was capable of over-heating the polity. He said the only thing that could stop the protest naturally would be to release Kanu unconditionally to calm the protesters who might not succumb to any threat unless he regained his freedom.
He said due process of the law should be followed by producing Kanu in court than his continued detention without trial. According to him, “Inline with our constitution especially in Chapter 4 and chapter 33 to 40 of 1999 constitution as amended, the military has no right to use force against the defenseless pro Biafra groups who were protesting the release of their leader arrested. If the federal government can release their leader that solves the problem but court of competent jurisdiction has given an order that a particular condition should be met before the release of the man and they have met the condition why are they still holding the young man. The man was supposed to appear before the court yesterday but they refused to bring him to court which made the court to issue order to bring him to court alive or death on November 23”.

“The federal government is violating the law, the law they supposed to keep that they are now violating. The military threat is empty because it seems that the military is ignorant of the law as far as the pro Biafra protesters were taking laws into their hands. Peaceful Protest cross the globe is allowed as far as it is inline with the law, if they don’t go into violent protest with arms destroying things, destroying government property but in this case it is civil protest against the arrest of their leader, government should listen to know why they protesting, it is inline with democratic trends. So the military is ignorant of the law and that is why they are making empty threat and they cannot do anything”.

Go and crush Boko Haram terrorists: Northern youths blast Biafra, ask FG to crush Featured

 22 November 2015
“This New Nation called Nigeria, should be an estate of our great grandfather, Uthman Dan Fodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We use the minorities in the North as willing tools, and the South, as conquered territory and never allow them to rule over us, and never allow them to have control over their future.” ---Sir Ahmadu Bello, Sardauna of Sokoto in THE PARROT of October 12, 1960
“The conquest to the sea is now in sight. When our god-sent Ahmadu Bello said some years ago that our conquest will reach the sea shores of Nigeria, some idiots in the South were doubting its possibilities. Today have we not reached the sea? Lagos is reached. It remains Port-Harcourt. It must be conquered and taken.” --- Mallam Bala Garuba in WEST AFRICAN PILOT, December 30, 1964.
Northern youths blast Biafra protagonists, ask FG to crush move
Angered by their renewed attempt to resurrect the outlawed Movement, northern youths have condemned the promoters of the new agitation to revive Biafra and divide Nigeria. The youths writing under the aegis of Arewa Youth Forum, warned those behind the criminal agitation to desist from it and allow Nigeria to remain in peace and find solutions to it’s challenges.
In a statement signed by its National President , Alhaji Gambo Gujungu, the AYF said it was highly disappointed by the heinous move by some selfish elements to cause avoidable crisis in the country.
While calling on the protagonist to retrace their steps forthwith, the forum called on the Federal Government to take immediate steps to quell any move by any group or individual to dismember Nigeria under any guise.
He reminded the government not allow Biafra to operate and cause havoc in the land, as it did when the Boko Haram insurgents first emerged, instead of crushing it as provided by law.
AYF said: “We are worried by the situation in the South East of the country where some youths have taken to the street protesting perceived marginalisation of their zone and demanding a state of Biafra.
“As the umbrella body of all northern youths we want to condemn the development in its entirety, as we do know that it is being carried out in bad faith.
“We want to reiterate that we are apostles of one indivisible Nigeria and will continue to work across the length and breadth of the country to engender peace, unity and progress for all Nigerians irrespective of tribe, religion and region.
“It is because of this that we are calling on all Nigerians to remain anywhere they are in the country. We specifically callon our brothers and sisters from the south east to remain anywhere they are in the north as they will be adequately protected and we will make sure that nothing happens to them.
“We also want to call on the President Muhammadu Buhari led Federal government to act immediately and stop any move that will lead to the breakdown of law and order under control before it escalate.
This is because it is still fresh in the mind of many Nigerians that it is the inability of the government then to tackle the Boko Haram insurgency and nip it in the bud that has caused the situation to deteriorate to this level,” the northern youths said.

"By the Governor’s assertion to the effect that among those killed in the protest were two police sergeants; we are still at loss as where, when and how the police sergeants were killed. We call on the Governor to publicly update and furnish Nigerians with concrete information regarding whether the “two police sergeants” were killed by gun shots, clubbing, fists, burning or lynching as well as who killed them, why they were killed and hospitals or mortuaries where their bodies were deposited."
"We also demand to know where and when they were killed as well as their photos and station(s) where they are attached to and their service particularly or identities. Failure of His Excellency, Governor Willie Obiano to furnish the public with the concrete information under demand in time of the white law and immediacy will expressly lend credence to our strong suspicion of some elements within the Buhari administration’s desperation to implant violence into the non violent agitation so as to use it as an excuse to let loose in its use of deadly force against the non violent agitators as well as procurement of concocted evidence and compromised witnesses to get Citizen Nnamdi Kanu rot in jail at all costs and possibly exterminated in extra penal custody."...................By..................INTER SOCIETY.

Nigeria: Traders disassociate from Biafran leader Nnamdi Kanu and 'lawless' separatist groups
November 25, 2015 15:19 GMT
7
Pro-Biafrans call for the independence of Biafran territories, which were independent from Nigeria from 1967 and 1970getty images
Some traders in states across south-eastern Nigeria have declared they do not want to be associated with the ongoing pro-Biafran movement. A statement by the South East Markets Amalgamated Traders Association stated that traders disassociated themselves from the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (Massob), and the Indigenous People of Biafra (Ipob).
Massob, Ipob and other pro-Biafran groups call for the independence of territories that constituted the Biafran Republic, established in 1967 and re-annexed by Nigeria in 1970, following a civil war that claimed between one and three million lives. Pro-Biafrans often stage rallies - which they call evangelisations - across states in the south-east, calling for independence.
Demonstrations have increased since controversial Radio Biafra director and Ipob leader Nnamdi Kanu was arrested in Lagos earlier in October. Kanu, who iscurrently held by the country's security service (DSS), was apprehended on charges of criminal conspiracy, intimidation and belonging to an unlawful society. He pleaded not guilty.
Traders explained they decided to publicly state their position on the Biafra issue after they had been repeatedly asked by pro-Biafrans to close their markets in the area in solidarity with the protests.
However, some pro-Biafrans told IBTimes UK that the statement was fake and was used by people who oppose the independence of Biafra "to destroy the struggle for freedom".
Traders' full statement
"We are constrained to react to the continuous calls for close of businesses in the zone in protest and solidarity for Biafra.
Traders in the South-East wish to dissociate ourselves from MASSOB and IPOB. We have nothing to do whatsoever with these lawless groups.
The difficulties and hardship, which traders and residents in general suffer during these protests, had made the traders to react to the situation and the development and make its position very clear and unambiguous.
The invasion of markets and other business outfits and the destruction of property of individuals like shops and vehicles in the name of pro-Biafra protest is not only condemnable but unacceptable.
We are yet to understand the wisdom in the protest where the properties and other valuables and belongings of the Igbo are either vandalised or destroyed by fellow Igbo in the name of Pro-Biafra protest.
The hardship, which the Igbo that relocated from the North-East in the wake of Boko Haram insurgency are passing through, is still staring every right thinking Igbo man in the face, yet the Pro-Biafra groups are calling other Igbo doing their businesses in other parts of Nigeria to relocate to the South-East. This doesn't make any sense.
No particular zone in this country is an island and none can successfully develop without inter-relationship with the others.
Times are hard and the traders condemn, in strong terms, any action, by any group or individual, that will further aggravate the already very difficult times experienced by traders in this area.
The traders are totally not in support of any protest that will further adversely affect the people of the South-East.
We want to state clearly that traders in the South East are solidly in support of the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Traders in the zone shall not support any action that will aggravate the hardship already being experienced by Nigerians".
Government's position on pro-Biafran movement
Pro-Biafrans claim they hold peaceful demonstrations and accuse the police of violence against demonstrators. Amnesty International said in an exclusive report by IBTimes UK there was "credible evidence that pro-Biafran separatists in Nigeria are targeted by police".
Police have denied these claims, arguing that pro-Biafrans hold violent rallies that disrupt peace. Public relations officer for the police in Anambra state, Oleehkukyu Ali, also said the police have nothing against pro-Biafran groups as long as they behave in a peaceful way.
"Our country provides freedom of association, speech and movement. But groups have to behave peacefully. Police in Anambra are operating a very open policy and leaders of groups should engage with us and let us know what they are doing so we are aware of protests," said Ali.
The Nigerian government told IBTimes UK that it does not consider the separatist movement a threat to the current leadership and defined pro-Biafrans as an "insignificant number of frustrated people who are not a threat to the existence of Nigeria".
Army spokesman, Colonel Sani Usman, told IBTimes UK: "The message to the Biafrans is clear: The army and police might use the Rules of Engagement (ROE) on security operations to the fullest depending on the circumstances."

Pro Biafra protesters in Abuja

The Organization of Emerging African States (OEAS), an international governmental organization that promotes self-determination and the end to colonial era boundaries in Africa has outlined reasons why there should a snap referendum for Biafra Republic.
OEAS noted that if there is a secession, all “Property of the federal government within the borders of Biafra will become property of Biafra. The Nigerian government however will retain all national debt. Biafra will then release the Nigerian government from any obligation to pay reparations for crimes committed during the war of independence 1967-1970.”
OEAS noted that as of today the people of Biafra are locked in an epic struggle with the Nigerian federal government, the inevitable result of which will likely be some form of self-determination for Biafra.
The OEAS wants a snap referendum to be held within 90 days with OEAS, UNPO, and UN, EU and AU nonaligned observers supervising the balloting process. Various effected groups and individuals have asked for details which OEAS can now provide.
Why a Snap Referendum?
The people of Biafra have waited almost 50 years to legitimize their choice. There is no need to prolong the process. A lengthy delay will no doubt result in violence and bloodshed as out of the area ruffians and intimidators come into the region to try to unlawfully influence results.
Who will be eligible to vote in the Referendum?
All persons living within the confines of the borders of the former Republic of Biafra as of January 1, 2016 will be eligible to vote. In addition, persons living outside the borders who can demonstrate significant ties to Biafra by family or property may choose to vote as well.
What are the choices?
A. For total independence and the restoration of the Republic of Biafra as a sovereign independent nation.
B. For internal self-rule as an autonomous Biafra republic with its own parliament, currency, police and prime minister but with external affairs and other matters handled by the Nigerian federal government. This would be an arrangement similar to Scotland and the United Kingdom or Greenland and Denmark.
C. For no change.
How many votes are required?
Whatever option above gets a plurality will be the chosen result.
If we choose an independent Biafra, what then?
After an orderly transition period of no more than 180 days, Biafra will again be independent. Those who wish to maintain their Nigerian citizenship may do so but will be under Biafran rule and must affirmatively register themselves as aliens. Likewise, those outside Biafra with ties to Biafra may become Biafran citizens after renouncing Nigerian citizenship.
What about former federal government property?
Property of the federal government within the borders of Biafra will become property of Biafra. The Nigerian government however will retain all national debt. Biafra will then release the Nigerian government from any obligation to pay reparations for crimes committed during the war of independence 1967-1970.
What about the borders?
The borders with Nigeria must be settled by the time of independence in order to avoid disorder and discord. On the other hand, Biafra should not be obligated to follow any agreements between Cameroun and Nigeria, any loss of territory must be subject to a democratic referendum.
Is all this really possible?
We answer emphatically is yes. The people of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea made their choice to leave Ukraine under far more stressful circumstances. The vote was so overwhelmingly in favor that no country has seriously challenged the will of the people.
Finally, what about those criminals who have oppressed Biafrans and committed crimes and atrocities against the people of Biafra?
A Truth and Reconciliation Commission composed of Biafrans and other experts will establish the truth and investigate political and genocidal crimes from 1967 to present. The Committee will have the power to grant clemency and forgiveness but also may make recommendations as to prosecution in the most serious cases of crimes against humanity, war crimes, and genocide.

Can someone tell me why Charles Taylor ex president of Liberia is still with ICC? What is also the sins of Late Col. M Gaddafi and even Osama Bin Laden ? These peoples i mentioned above killed thousands while some killed in hundreds and they are in custody of ICC and world at large but whereas the likes of ex presidents in Nigeria like Rt Gen. Yakubu Gowon, Rt Gen Mohammed Buhari, Rt Gen. Olusegun Obasanjo that killed millions Biafrans Innocent blood are moving freely today where ever they want and U.N And ICC are keeping mute. I beginning to doubt the laws and power of ICC and U.N whether they are true or just for formality sake. Can one nation Britain intimidate the whole U.N over issues happened and happening in Nigeria against the Biafrans because Britain has hand in the genocide committed by Nigeria in 1967…1970 civil war.

Northern governors condemn Pro-Biafran attacks

By admin / in News / on Thursday, 03 Dec 2015 10:09 PM
The 19 Northern Governors under the aegis, Northern Governors Forum, have unanimously condemned the attacks that happened during the pro-biafran protest in Onitsha, Anambra state yesterday December 2nd.
Rising from a meeting in Borno state today, the governors said Nigerians had no reason to fight themselves at this time when we should join hands to fight the number one enemy of our country which is Boko Haram. Borno state governor, Kshim Shettima who leads the group of Governors, said this in a statement he released through his media aide, Isa Gusau. The statement in part read;
“We condemn the Wednesday crisis in very strong term. We have been in touch with one another today. The Governors of major cities in the north in particular, have been in critical touch to share thoughts and we have collectively taken firm measures to ensure that the violence doesn’t spread to any part of the 19 northern States and we will also be working with our colleagues in the south to nip the crisis in the bud but we will not disclose the measures we have taken so that those who may want to take advantage of the Onitsha mayhem don’t know our strategies. However, it is surprising to the Northern States Governors Forum that any Nigerian at all can even contemplate any kind of violence when we already have serious problems of Boko Haram insurgents that are killing Muslims and Christians, killing northerners and southerners, attacking Mosques, Churches and markets, in an effort to kill all of us that do not subscribe to their interpretation of Islam. We have Boko Haram that kill Hausa, Fulani, Ibo, Yoruba, Kanuri, Ijaw and anyone they are able to come across. We thought that the existence of Boko Haram should have been enough to make all Nigerians fuse into one and fight a common enemy. It is really sad that any Nigerian can contemplate violence. We are not blaming any individual or group because there are security agencies whose job it is to safeguard lives and property and do investigations where necessary, we will not go into their duties. We beg all Nigerians to be calm and go about their duties in peace. We have got more than enough problems to worry about. We can’t afford any distraction that will shift our focus from the bigger problems of Boko Haram that has an ambition of sending the human race into extinction. We urge all Nigerians to be calm. We particularly call on all Nigerians living in the northern states not to pay attention to differences in religion and ethnicity but rather, should see each other as Nigerians with equal residential rights and fundamental human rights that include freedom to lawfully reside anywhere in Nigeria, freedom of worship, movement, trade, association, education, healthcare and other rights as provided by the Nigerian constitution. We particularly call on our youths not to allow anyone use them for any purpose because youths have suffered more than any other age category from the hands of Boko Haram insurgents and that is more than enough. Our focus should be on how to end the Boko Haram insurgency and not to be driven into any other crisis. We have suffered too much, we must say no to any crisis. As heads of Government of the 19 northern states, we will by the grace of God, do everything humanly possible to ensure that no resident, regardless of his or her ethno-religious background, is denied any of these rights. As Nigerians, we are one, we need one another and we must live as one people,”
Five SSS officials steal N310 million, two arrested

The State Security Service, SSS, said on Sunday that it arrested two of its officials involved in the theft of N310 million.
The officials allegedly robbed a Bureau De Change operator of the money on November 20.
Three other SSS officials involved in the robbery are still at large, the agency, also known as DSS, said in a press release. It also said N66 million of the stolen funds has been recovered.
Read the statement below
N310 million ROBBERY-DSS ARRESTS CULPRITS: N66.4 MILLION RECOVERED
The Department of State Services (DSS) wishes to inform the general public that the Service has arrested two (2) out of five (5) of its Staff involved in the robbery and sharing, on 20th November, 2015, of the sum of three hundred and ten million naira (N310m) belonging to a Bureau De Change operator in Abuja. While three (3) of the DSS staff are now at large, the Military Authorities have commenced a detailed investigation of five (5) of its personnel involved in the crime.
Preliminary investigations have revealed that Abdulrasheed Ahmadu MAIGARI of the DSS, conspired with four (4) other colleagues of his namely: Solomon INUSA, Peter OKOYE, Patrick ISHAYA and George Mwatapwa IBBI, to carry out this reprehensible act. The five (5) military personnel were led by one Capt. Hussein Ishaku MSHELIA. Meanwhile, the Service has arrested MAIGARI and IBBI; and MSHELIA equally arrested by the Army authorities. Efforts are ongoing to apprehend those still at large. A total of Sixty-Six Million Four Hundred and Thirty Seven Thousand, Four Hundred and Forty-five Naira (N66,437,445.00) and Six Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($6,200) have so far been recovered, while efforts are being made to recover the remaining amounts. It is to be noted that security agencies now act in concert, thus the joint investigation undertaken with the Police, Army and the DSS.
This action of the Service is in line with the posture of the current Administration and DSS management focus on professionalism, transparency and accountability. Those so far arrested have been suspended pending the completion of investigations. For the avoidance of doubt, the Service wants to reiterate its commitment to the basic ideals and principles as established by its forebears and will not spare anyone found to be contravening the rules and regulations or the laws of the land. We therefore encourage members of the public with useful information that could lead to the arrest of those at large to volunteer same to the Service or other security agency. The DSS also wishes to use this opportunity to assure all law abiding citizens of their safety and urge them to partner with the Service in the smooth discharge of its responsibilities.

I am not a Nigerian, I am an African. When you understand the history of Nigeria, Nigeria is a colonial structure set in motion by Lady Lugard. So Nigeria is not our name. When you understand the history of Africa, then you will not be foolish to fall into the category of calling yourself a
Nigerian. I am an African, because you understand that Africa was divided 1885. When you look at it from that perspective, you will understand that people appreciate the talents that come out from this part of the world, femi kuti said

Biafra: NOA Deploys Officers To Dampen Tension In S/East Communities

Channels Television.
Updated December 9, 2015
The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has concluded plans to deploy its officers to aggrieved communities in the South Eastern part of the country to sensitize youth on the need to shun Biafra and sustain a united Nigeria.
The Chief Executive of NOA, Mr Mike Omeri, told journalists in Abuja that state governments are in the process of finding solutions to concerns expressed by pro-Biafra agitators.
He urged the youth to remain committed to strengthening principles that guide national development.
Pro-Biafra supporters have been staging protests in the South East in solidarity with the Biafra Radio host, Nnamdi Kanu, who has been detained by the Department of State Service (DSS).
The protesters, who storm streets in their hundreds.
Although the protesters appeared resolute to continue their march, security operatives managed to maintain the barricade, causing many commuters to resort to trekking long distances as a result of the gridlock caused by the face-off.
Some of the protesters told Channels Television that they would not back down from pursuing the freedom of the one they call their leader.
They called on the federal government to heed their cry and that of other pro-Biafran supporters for self-determination.

Another peaceful mega protest coming soon. IPOB is resolute, we cannot prevaricate we cannot surrender. Take this message to all corners of the earth that another mega powerful peaceful protest is on the way. NEVER SHALL THIS PEACEFUL PROTEST STOP! NEVER SHALL WE SURRENDER! BIAFRA OR DEATH is an oath we must defend. There are people that money can’t buy their conscience, IPOB is one. Get ready for another mega protest. The only person that has the KEY to stop this protest is NNAMDI KANU, until he is released this protest will continue.

 OEAS petitions EU on Biafra
Federica Mogherini, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security
The Organization of Emerging African States (OEAS), an international governmental organization that promotes self-determination and the end to colonial era boundaries in Africa has petitioned European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security, Federica Mogherini, on the issue of the Biafra Referendum.

The OEAS asked the European External Action Service to utilize its good offices to help prevent a cataclysm of immense proportions in Nigeria by supporting the Biafra Referendum on Self Determination and its preconditions including a stand down of federal armed forces and the immediate release of Biafran activists from jail.
The EU High Representative is reminded that the EU cannot afford to see a massive conflict in Africa’s most populous country with the largest economy and military.
“Nigeria is already reeling from decades of corruption and an apparently unstoppable ISIS led Boko Haram insurgency,” OEAS said in a statement, noting that, “Biafrans at Ontisha have chosen Liberty and will even face death if necessary to achieve their basic human rights of self-determination.”
“Ms. Mogherini is in the position of stopping a potential human catastrophe of Biblical proportions before it begins by prevailing on President Buhari to allow democracy to take its course,” the statement read.
Celebrating My Father's £20
● While Igbo women & children were being starved by Awolowo et al, many of those women including the pregnant ones being raped by Nigerian soldiers or their wombs cut open by Hausa/Fulani savages, many of the children having kwashiorkor and dying in countless numbers over an epidemic... Their own women & children in the Northern and Western parts of Nigeria had the best treatments in their cozy homes and only watched the Igbo genocide on TV like an Action Movie
● While our Youths were busy using ordinary sticks and stones to fight the well-trained and equipped Nigerian Army, their own Youths were busy with their education both at home and in the diaspora, and gaining employment afterwards
● While their people were busy with their normal lives, making money, having establishments and making progress, Igbos were dying in their thousands, suffering losses and their properties confiscated
After the Igbo pogrom that lasted for 3-years, they tried to deceive Igbos by declaring a period of rehabilitation, reconstruction, and reconciliation that did not see the light of the day! All they did was MOCK Igbos with Gowon's "No Victor, No Vanquished" post-war save-face-slogan and gave only £20 each to Igbos for ............... WHAT? Really?! £20 for what? Knowing what Ndi-Igbo had before the pogrom?
In all of what the Igbo suffered and lost during the civil war, one thing stood out which is........
The "enemies" were able to destroy Igbo-land, killed over 3.6million Igbos, destroyed and seized their properties in other neighbouring cities like Port-Harcourt; BUT.... They could NOT kill the RESILIENCE, the Ingenuity & 'Never Say Die' spirit of Ndi-Igbo!
With just £20 each, look at where we are today!
Aside the FACT that Igbos have the highest number of billionaires and millionaires in Nigeria now.... In education, trade & commerce and every sphere of the 'Nigerian set-up' , Igbos always stand-out or set very high standards others can only wish for; Including Igbos in the diaspora!
Believe it or not, there's something EXTRAORDINARY about the Igbo. Little wonder other ethnicities don't want 'Igbo secession' because NOBODY WOULD WISH TO LET GO OF SOMETHING GOOD!
For others who might be subjective and try to call this- "COCKINESS", "PRIDE", "EGO" or whatever term they deem best, this is undeniable realism about Ndi-Igbo.
Now you know why i'm celebrating my father's £20.

The ground swell protests staged by the members of the Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, and the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, over the continued detention of the Director, Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has been halted, following the resolve of the two pro-Biafra groups to give Federal Government room for dialogue.

Protesters in the south-east and parts of south-south geopolitical zones had vowed to continue demonstrations until they actualize Biafra which prompted governors from the region, under the aegis of South-East Governors Forum,SEGF, to push for a dialogue to secure the release of Nnamdi Kanu among other issues of neglect and marginalzation of the people in a meeting held in Enugu Government House.

In a joint resolution signed by Ugwuoke Ibem,National Secretary,MASSOB, and Emma Powerful,Spokesman of IPOB, which read in parts: “We have decided to halt our demonstration, protest to pave way for the much published dialogue on Nnamdi Kanu’s release. Our withdrawal from the major cities of Biafraland is not out of cowardice but to prove maturity, professionalism as a decent self determined group.

“We hereby issue an ultimatum to the Federal Government to prove their seriousness and sincerity on the much published dialogue on the release of Nnamdi Kanu. We shall continue with our non violence self determination on Biafra. MASSOB
,IPOB will never relent or backside on the agitation for Biafra actualization. We condemn the stupidity, sabotage statement of Ralph Uwazuruike that IPOB, MASSOB introduced violence in Biafra struggle.

“Uwazuruike is a drowning man who is living on yesterday shadow. Uwazuruike has lost his grip on Biafra issues because of his deviation, compromise, open romance with Nigeria Government which has grossly affected his personality. We warn Uwazuruike and his brainwashed group to stop dragging MASSOB,IPOB into a shameless,Unclad dance of visionless, missionless, blind existence.”

HAUSA/FULANI ARE HIDING BEHIND THE MILITARY: So many questions have been directed to me,as to why Hausa/Fulani always want to remain in Power? I laughed and said to them; YOU ALWAYS NEED THE BACK UP OF A GOVERNMENT WHEN YOU ARE BRAVELESS. The Cowardice nature of Hausa/Fulani,is behind their bloody hunger for Power. Hausa/Fulani can not stand a Biafran, without the backup of the Military,as they always hide behind the Military Men and their Political godfathers in Power. Whenever they have issues with anyone, they will always refer you to,their Brothers in the military. In their words,"Kia me i go tell por my broda wey e dey por Army". Hausa/Fulani need to remain in Power,to have a steady backup from the Military and a total closure of their misdeeds against Biafrans who they tag Harune'(Infidels). Hausa/Fulani you said you will wipe Biafrans from the surface of this earth within three months during the War,but our Fathers fought not just with you,but World Powers for three years without weapons. We the Youths of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, understand your ploys by using the Military against us while we are protesting peacefully and will never relent in our peaceful demonstrations, until Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is released and Biafra is restored. BIAFRA NIGERIA

The Igbo prodigal son and servant of Hausa/Fulani, Yoruba oligarchy Joe Igbokwe plan to open up a radio station to counter the gospel truth preached on Radio Biafra. Let see how far he can go in serving Hausa/Fulani, Yoruba oligarchy.
THE IGBO CONSCIENCE ( TIC) PLANS OWN A RADIO STATION TO COUNTER HATE SPEECHES, ABUSES, CURSES, AND BLATANT LIES BY THOSE WHO SAY THEY WANT BIAFRA. THEY HAVE CREATED 100 MILLION ENEMIES FOR NDIGBO IN NIGERIA THEY HAVE INVESTED SO MUCH FOR MORE THAN 100 YEARS.
1.WHERE THEY SPEAK PATHOLOGICAL LIES WE WILL SPEAK THE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH.
2. WHERE THEY PREACH HATE, ABUSES AND CURSES WE WILL SPEAK LOVE AND PEACEFUL CO-EXISTENCE.
3. WHERE THEY ISSUE THREATS WE WILL SEEK DIALOGUE AND POWER OF ENGAGEMENT
4 WHERE THEY PREACH SEPARATISM WE WILL PREACH STRENGTH IN DIVERSITY.
5. WHERE THEY ANNOY OTHER NIGERIANS WE WILL PLEAD FOR FORGIVENESS.
6. WHERE THEY SPEAK ACRIMONY AND DIVISION WE WILL SPEAK FOR NATIONAL COHESION AND JUSTICE.
7. IF THEY SAY BIAFRA IS THE WAY TO GO WE WILL SPEAK WITH EMPIRICAL EVIDENCES TO SHOW THAT IT IS BETTER TO FISH IN THE ATLANTIC OCEAN THAN TO FISH IN oji river.
8. IF THEY SAY THAT NIGERIA IS A ZOO WE WILL TELL THEM THAT NIGERIA IS THE PRIDE OF AFRICA , OUR PROBLEMS NOT WITHSTANDING.
9 IF THEY SAY IGBOLAND HAS ENOUGH SPACE FOR US TO PLAY WITH WE WILL PREACH THAT NIGERIA PROVIDES A BIG SPACE FOR IGBO TO PLAY WITH AND EXPLOIT TO THIER OWN ADVATAGE.
10. IF THE CHILDREN ARE SHOUTING war, war, war, WE WILL SHOUT peace, peace, peace. THOSE WHO RUSH TO GO TO WAR MUST KNOW THAT WAR SIGNIFYS DEATH.( oji oso agbakwu ogu mata kwa na ogu bu onwu)
