The death
threat to my life issued by Radio Biafra

This serves as a public notification of
a death threat issued by Radio Biafra on my life and innocent members of my
family. The threat in the form of a public tweet was made by a certain
@RowlandLove200, real name Christian
Rowland a 31 year old male from Awka, Anambra state; Facebook https://www.facebook.com/christian.rowlandlove ,
who said, "
For exposing the Radio Station's
numerous broadcasts recruiting terrorists and directly advocating the murder of
random innocent Hausa's and Fulani's dwelling in Igbo states and the murder of
Nigerian soldiers, Radio Biafra members have now issued death threats to me.
As anyone must, I take this extremely
serious and alert the Nigerian and international security departments to secure
the lives of me and mine and all innocent citizens who the Radio Biafra menace
continues to put at risk and distress.
I published and have here provided
audio recordings of Radio Biafra shows where the so-called and self installed
leader of Radio Biafra pro-Biafra zionist agitators, Nnamdi Kanu broadcast
direct death edicts against innocent Nigerians. In one recording a certain
London-based Uchechukwu Madueke made it known that his brother, a certain
Michael 'Madueke' had gone to Nigeria from India and promised to kill any
random Hausa he found before he returned to India. Other parts of the
recordings expose Nnamdi Kanu issuing death threats against Nigerian soldiers
and recruiting deadly weapons manufacturers for his sinister plots against life
and security of Nigerians. This is serious.

While I am an advocate for self
determination and I have stated clearly and repeatedly that I support a true
globally monitored intellectual referendum in Igbo states to determine if there
is a reasonable desire for independence, I have no hesitation in rejecting and
condemning all propositions and advocacies for murderous and violent agendas
for self determination which are ruses for self enrichment and megalomaniac
fulfillment. Which is what Radio Biafra's crazy director seeks.
It is also publicly known that I
condemn the deaths of August 30th at Onitsha and support the full investigation
and justice measurement on whoever the culprits are, be they the police, navy
or Radio Biafran covert conspirators.
I have never hesitated in waging a war

better part of the last three years and in like fashion, while a rest will be
well in order, I am obligated in the interest of preserving lives to continue

Nnamdi Kanu of Radio Biafra has been
recorded harassing
innocent northerners in Igbo land in the past. Radio Biafra as
can be heard in
a recording of our debate was in full support of former
president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan who they call Igbo and his army chief,
Azubuike Ihejirika, both of whom with the NSA Dasuki and MoD Gusau, together
plundered Nigeria silly and supervised the raping of our army and deaths via
Boko Haram and military excesses of thousands of Nigerians of all ethnicities
and denominations, the maiming and displacement of millions and the destruction
of billions in property. I ask, is Radio Biafra a proxy terror organ of the
former administration hell bent on frustrating Nigeria's final hopes of
progress after 30 years of PDP and it's godfathers' plundering and destruction
of Nigeria?
While requesting assurances of our and
other innocent Nigerians' security by enforcement agents, we assure Radio

ONE of the few surviving nationalists and former Minister of Aviation in the first republic, Chief Mbazulike Amaechi has revealed how he hid the foremost South African nationalist and former president of South Africa, Chief Nelson Mandela for six months in Nigeria to evade his arrest by officials of the apartheid regime in that country.
Amaechi, who spoke
with Vanguard at his Ukpor country home in Nnewi South local government area of
Anambra State said people like Mandela are great assets to humanity and should
not be going through the pains of life.
The former minister, popularly known as ‘the boy is good’, said it was a privilege to him being asked to live with Mandela when he ran away from the apartheid regime and came to Nigeria in 1963, adding that they shared great moments during the six months plus Mandela lived in his house.
According to
Amaechi, even when Mandela returned to South Africa and was sentenced to life
imprisonment, he still wrote him letters from prison, showing how appreciative
he is.
The interview with
Amaechi on Mandela went thus: PRESENTLY, the foremost South African
nationalist, Nelson Mandela, is sick and in the hospital. We want to know if
you had any relationship with him in the past or an encounter?
Yes, he was the
leader of the Africa National Congress, ANC. He led the group that struggled
for democracy in South Africa. That was the time of the apartheid regime in
South Africa and when the British government was desperately looking for him to
imprison him; he ran away from South Africa and took refuge in Nigeria. That
was when the late Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe was the President of Nigeria and late Dr.
Michael Okpara the Premier of the Eastern Region.
When Mandela came to Nigeria, Zik as the leader of the nationalist group in Nigeria in consultation with Okpara decided that they should find a nationalist of Mandela’s caliber who would accommodate him. So they called on me to take Mandela and accommodate him. At that time, I was the parliamentary secretary and also a member of the parliament before I became a minister. He moved in to my house and stayed for about six or more months with me and my wife. I was then newly married while he was in his early 40’s or so.
We used to go out
together and both the British intelligence and the South African intelligence
services knew that he was with me, but there was nothing they could do about it
because I was in government. Then, after sometime, during our discussions, he
said: “My stay here, how long will it last? “I think I better return to South
Africa. They will either kill me or send me to prison and it will spur the
other nationalists remaining to continue with the struggle.
So, after about six or seven months in my house, he decided to move back to South Africa. When he went back, he was promptly arrested, charged and sentenced to life imprisonment. He went to prison, but the nationalism in him did not depart from him.
He continued doing
his best for some of his colleagues. He wrote me a letter from prison asking me
to find employment for one Dr. Barange. Barange’s father was a lawyer who
defended the nationalists in a previous case, while Barange himself was a
geologist. The apartheid people in South Africa were seriously looking for him
and so Mandela wanted him to get out of South Africa. I was able to get a job
for Dr. Barange at the University of Ife as a senior lecturer in Geology.
Mandella wrote me from prison. In fact when you called that you were coming, I went to my office to search for this letter. This is the letter he wrote me from the prison on the 18th of February, 1964, he signed the letter as Nelson Mandela, prisoner No 116570/63. Then during his 74th birthday, he was still in prison, I joined his family to send him goodwill messages.
When he came out
from prison, I wrote him too. When he came to Nigeria after his release, he
specifically requested to see me and Dr. Azikiwe. So, when he came to Enugu,
the then governor, Col. Robert Akonobi, because we were in military rule then,
wrote me to say Mandela wanted to see me. I honored the invitation and I went
to Enugu with my wife to see him. He was in the company of his former wife,
Winnie. We shared some time together before he went back to South Africa.
After that visit in 1993, have you been communicating with him? Yes, my last letter to him was on 18th November, 1993. Since the last letter, have two of you been communicating? No. We have not spoken to each other again. When he was appointed the President of South Africa, I was invited to his inauguration ceremony, but the military here did not allow me to go. They said I needed clearance to go and I did not get it. |

Former education
minister says Buhari is correcting past marginalisation against north
FORMER education minister Alhaji Dauda Birmah has justified President Muhammadu Buhari's lopsided appointments so far saying that they were necessary to correct the imbalances created by the Goodluck Jonathan administration.
Since assuming office on May 29,
President Buhari has made 35 appointments but about 30 of his appointees so far
have been northern Nigerians. Particularly enraged about the appointments so far has been the southeast
geo-political zone as no one from the region has been appointed to any
position, leading to cries of Igbo marginalisation.
However, a former
education minister Alhaji Birmah, who was at a time a presidential aspirant
under the defunct All Nigerian Peoples Party, said the appointments were in
order as they corrected past errors. He justified President Buhari’s recent
appointments alleging that the north had suffered marginalisation in federal
appointments under previous administrations.
Alhaji
Birmah said: "Well, my assessment is that Buhari has come in and he has
seen the rot that preceded his coming and he is trying to see how to handle it.
Buhari has come on a change agenda and he is not expected to behave in a manner
in which you will see things as business as usual.
"During
the 15 years preceding him, the north had been wailing and crying because the
area was totally marginalized. Buhari is trying to rectify that marginalisation
of the north but I am not surprised that some people are complaining."
He
added that 100 days are not enough time to judge this government, pointing out
that corrections are going to be effected and people will be satisfied that
everybody has been taken into consideration. According to Alhaji Birmah, the
previous government did not adequately tackle insurgency but now that the
atmosphere is settling down, the matter should be addressed soon.
Alhaji
Birmah also added that it was absolutely necessary to probe the previous
government although he does not believe that probing should be the essence of
government. He pointed out that the Buhari administration needs to bring about
some sanity in governance and address pressing issues like power supply

Tanko Yakasai,
a prominent northern leader, says he supported President Goodluck Jonathan in
the March 28 election because some northerners threatened to make the country
ungovernable if he won.
Speaking to reporters on Friday, he denied
rumours that his support for Jonathan was based on pecuniary interest, The cable Online reports."People
talked about millions of naira given to me just to support him, but I gave my
support out of my conviction that any other Nigerian is entitled to be
president of Nigeria, "he
said. "What made me
take that stand was the utterances of some northerners that if he was
re-elected president that there would be war or bloodshed in Nigeria and that
some northerners will make the country ungovernable
for him. "And those utterance ran counter to the provisions of our constitution which give
every Nigerians the right to seek any elective office of his choice and it's up
to Nigerians to vote for him or not. "Yakasai,
who was special adviser on national assembly matters to President Shehu Shagari
during the second republic, said:"I never met Jonathan in person until a
few days to the election on matters affecting the security of the country. "I
never asked for a contract from him or his deputy or any of his ministers. I am
not a contractor and don't even have company that does contracts. "He also denied widespread
reports that he said the acting chairperson of INEC, Amina Zakari, is a blood
relation of President Muhammadu Buhari.
"What
I told them (the journalists) was that there is no blood relation between Hajia
Amina Zakari and President Muhammadu Buhari,"he said. Ayo Fayose, governor
of Ekiti state, had criticised Buhari for appointing Zakari, quoting Yakasai.
He said:"Two weeks ago, respected former lawmaker and former top civil
servant, Alhaji Tanko Yakassai, revealed that he knew Mrs. Zakari since
childhood, and that her late father, the former Emir of Kazaure, was married to
President Buhari's elder sister.
"Alhaji
Yakassai went on to reveal that President Buhari lived with and spent a
significant part of his early years in the home of Amina Zakari's father. "This
is enough establishment of conviviality between Mrs Zakari and President
Buhari, whose party, the All Progressives Congress(APC)
will be standing elections with other political parties this year and this will
no doubt cast credibility aspersion on any election conducted by INEC headed by

INTOLERANCE: President Buhari Orders Closure Of Aso Rock Villa
Church (DETAILS)
President Muhammadu Buhari has moved against Christian religious
activities within the precincts of the Aso Rock presidential villa, a source
familiar with the matter has disclosed to The Trent.
The Aso Rock Villa Chapel serves as the official church of Aso
Rock where Christian activities inside the presidential villa are conducted.
According to an eyewitness who spoke to The Trent on Thursday,
September 3, 2015 on condition of anonymity, heavily armed men stormed the Aso
Rock Chapel on Sunday, August 30, 2015 denying worshippers access to the church.
“Normally, services begin by 7 am at the church. But when we got
there, we met armed security men who said we cannot enter. They said they were
acting on orders from above. We waited outside till a few minutes past 8 am
before they allowed us to enter,” the source disclosed.
A visibly embarrassed Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who worships
at the Villa Church, arrived the Chapel and could be seen managing to conceal a
worried expression over the incident.
When our reporter contacted Presidential Spokesman Garba Shehu to
confirm the development, he claimed he was not aware of the incident. “What you
are telling me is news to me. I am not aware of this issue. There is a lot we
are dealing with and I hope you are aware the church was handed over to Vice
President Osinbajo. So please call Prince Laolu Akande, his spokesman to
confirm this issue,” he said.
Further investigations by The Trent have revealed that Sunday’s
move was the second in a series of brazen attempts to shut down Christian
activities in the Villa.
Less than two months ago, the Children’s Church of the Villa
Chapel where the wife of the Vice President, Mrs. Oludolapo Osinbajo worships
with the children was closed down on orders from above. According to our
source, “Security concerns were given as reasons for the closure of the
Children’s Church.”
Attempts by this newspaper to reach Vice Presidential spokesman
Laolu Akande failed as his phone lines were unreachable at the time of filing
in this report.

Convener of the Coalition of Northern Politicians, Academics, Professionals and Businessmen, Junaid Mohammed, has reacted to a recent statement made by former governor of Anambra State, Chukwuemeka Ezeife, that the Igbo tribe have not been treated fairly in Nigeria in terms of political positions.
Speaking to
PUNCH, Mohammed said, ”If it is about Buhari making the appointments based
on merit, I have no problems with it. I don’t believe Buhari or Nigeria owes
any Igbo anything. I don’t care what Ezeife says; if they had seceded, there would
have been no Nigeria today. As people who acted outside the interest of Nigeria
as a country, to expect compensation is a very odd logic.”If the Igbo don’t
like it, they can attempt secession again. If they do, they must be prepared to
live with the consequences. Nobody owes them anything and nobody is out to
compensate them for anything. ”Critics
should tell us which ethnic groups have been favoured by Buhari in the course
of making his appointments in parastatals and agencies. Those who are making
those allegations, particularly the Igbo, have not told us exactly which
parastatals. “For example, an
Igbo man has just been appointed as the head of the NNPC, one of the most
important government agencies in Nigeria, and over 50 per cent of those
appointed before him were also Igbos. So, if people decide to be mischievous,
there is nothing anybody can do about it. As far as I am concerned, those
appointed have been good and credible persons”. He stated, “Moreover, the consequences
of what happens in the oil ministry are so dire. When one looks at the track
record of the past minister, one can see what we have to deal with as a country
as a result of her being made a minister.
“In fact, I
encourage him to retain the defence ministry because we are in a state of war
and he is a distinguished retired general who has headed every single division
of the Nigerian Army during his service. If he decides to be the defence
minister, I would be more than glad”.

Members of house of representatives
were forced to adjourn their sitting till November 17 after stench from
the National Assembly’s toilets did not let them breathe.
According to reports, the bad odour
from the National Assembly toilets coupled with lack of water made the
lawmakers to quickly review the motions before them. They odour was so bad that
it oozed into the green chambers where the house members were seated. The
sitting which was presided over by deputy speaker, Yusuff Lasun, had to
hurriedly adjourn the sitting.
A member of
the house representing Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency of Cross River State,
Michael Etaba, had in a point of order lamented that the entire environment was
smelling and that water was not running in his office. He said that the chamber
was not conducive as a result of the stench.
Meanwhile, toilet photos of the Nigerian Immigration
Service in Festac hit
the internet. The images are something to be worried about.
