BIAFRA Media Power HOUSE

                               BIAFRA Media Power HOUSE

(Biafran Television and Radio Short Wave band)

Director of Radio Biafra and Commander In Chief of Biafram Armed Forces

l still see this APC as ACN, ANPP, CPC and 1/10 APGA. What is party supremacy. So long they did not obey the Party's zoning positions in the National Assembly in inauguration, the center cannot hold again. Is Mr President respecting the Part in his appointments so far and S/Easterner and S/Southerner has not seen his window of Aso Village by now. What is trying to educate. It is a pity that he has allowed his personal and tribal interest to prevail on arrival and it is a a very serious danger for the party and the whole country. He should learn a lesson to what happened to Mosi of the Brotherhood of Egypt who secured victory after many years but could not manage it. This is what the North and Mr President is trying to repeat. A word is enough for the wise. A stitch in time saves nine. l still maintain that President Buhari is not the Messiah Nigerians are looking for. How can you have a democratic process without an SGF for almost two months now? How can you name your Chief Protocol as ADC? Is he a pseudo-military President? What is going on. Is he angry with Nigerians especially those from the South? All appointments from his table for now is for the North, by the North and for the Muslims. No wonder a prominent northerner told me that the VP is for window dressing or just a make up, when l argued that APC has no moral right to have picked their VP from the S/West just after OBJ from the zone just left after eight years in the Presidency. They Left the Igbos in their calculation and that is going to be the undoing of the Party and this government. The President is a Northerner, ditto the Senate President, The Speaker, The Chief Judge of the Federation, The DSS, The INEC Chairman, The Accountant General, etc. The Igbos are not spectators to this project called Nigeria. They are minorities now. As they connive to seemingly undue the Igbos, the more confused this government will continue to run into deeper confusion. No wonder these steps and actions have culminated to resurrecting and resonating the clamour for Biafra via Radio Biafra/IPOB. Mr President and the rest of Nigeria is giving credence to the fulfillment of the prophecy of the non-existence of Nigeria come 2015. Is God going to use a Northerner to achieve this- Biafra, Arewa and Oduduwa Republics without shooting a gun because l see that it would have been difficult and more chaotic to have a Southerner in the saddle at this point in time. I state strongly here that it is better and peaceful for Nigeria to go for a round table conference now and discuss the question and meaning of our existence as a Nation than trying to look for escape goats in the name of hunting for the operators of Radio Biafra which is a very strong organ that speaks the truth and lets the world know what is happening on the other side of Nigeria. Yes there may be reservations on the choice of words used in their broadcasting but they are very vocal, revealing and thought provoking. Nigeria and Nigerians should be very grateful to Almighty God for having Radio Biafra and particularly Nnamdi Kanu as the Director at this time of her history. He should be giving a National Honour of Grand Commander of the Niger (GCON) if he will accept.

Boko Haram: Ex-CP Aduba blasts Army chief for releasing Boko Haram terrorists Featured

 14 September 2015
FORMER Commissioner of Police, Delta State, Mr. Ikechukwu Aduba, roared from retirement, weekend, describing the recent release of 128 suspected Boko Haram members by the Chief of Army Staff as the “height of illegality.”
Aduba told Vanguard, “This is a fundamental breach of the constitution. Under Internal Security Operations, police remain the foremost internal security agency; the suspects ought to have been handed over to the police.”
He said, “After the screening, the case file ought to be forwarded to the Director of Public Prosecution to determine their culpability before release. Usurpation of police function is sending a wrong signal.”
His words, “Amputation of the Nigeria Police Force will not help, if the Federal Government of Nigeria feels the police is weak, then it should strengthen the police by overhauling, weeding and equipping them, including overseas training.”
“The military is doing well but should be confined to their role under Internal Security Operations and the rule of law. The world is now a global village, those released can sue the government for illegal detention,” he added.
The Nigerian Army, last Wednesday, freed 128 suspected Boko Haram members arrested in different locations of Borno State.
Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Tukur Buaratai, who handed the suspects to the Borno State Governor, Alhaji Kashim Shettima, said a joint intelligence cell comprising the Nigerian Army, Police, DSS and representative of Borno State government screened the detainees.

ON THE OWNERSHIP OF LAGOS! Lagos is a Portuguese name meaning lagoon, the name became needful when the invaders saw that the place was similar to the Lagos in their country, with reference to it topography.(confirm from the map of Portugal) Lagos originally called EKO a word meaning 'war camp' in the Edo language, showing that the territory was owned and administered by the Oba of Benin. The battle for the soul of Lagos began towards the end of the 19th century and was fully actualised in the 1900s, when England abandoned the slave trade following the industrial revolution. The overthronment of Oba Akitoye by king Kosoko and the returned of Akitoye through the help of Britain and his subsequent dead, his successor chief Dosumu lack of strong will to effect the stop of the slave after it was outlawed, paved way for the full take over the territory by the British, as a port town, it serves England's interest. Typical of all port cities be it Liver pool or Miami it is bound to be cosmopolitan, with people everywhere converging for business.

Of all the people that have ever governed Lagos non originally is from the place, Jakande-Kwara, Tinubu-Osun, Fashola-Ekiti, Ambode-Ondo, Oba of Lagos-Ogun. The dominance of the Yoruba people in the city is a matter of proximity and no other, the word 'EKO' been the original name of the place has no meaning in the yoruba language and the nearest in sound to the word is 'OKO' meaning 'cassava farm' now if the place was a swamp how then do you plant cassava there?

Which suggest a missing link, who owns the place should give the name. The current native and immigrant war, currently on going in the city state and targeting at non Yoruba is a misplaced priority and the archives should be visited and should be traced down to the reign of Oba ORHOGBUA the foremost ruler of the ancient Benin kingdom,

Here is the picture of IBB with Queen of England back in 1989, IBB is the man that legalized Corruption in Nigeria according to today's news headline, Everything you hear on Radio Biafra is a Gospel,

Here is Ibrahim Babangida as Head of State riding with Queen Elizabeth in her carriage in London in 1989...

Good Bless you Director Nnamdi Kanu
,

Good Bless Radio Biafra,
keep on telling the world the Truth, Expose the Evil marshal plans of the British and Nigeria..

Biafra is all we want.

God bless Biafra.

Away from the numerous attacks on the activities of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) by the Nigerian government, The Biafra Times investigation into the struggle for Biafra has revealed other challenges confronting Biafrans.
One of such challenges is the attempt by groups and individuals to impersonate IPOB and some members of its leadership for pecuniary gains. For instance, a group known as Bilie Human Rights Initiative (BHRI) is said to be playing that role at the moment. Registered with Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission (NCAC) few years ago, the BHRI is said to have already been deregistered when it was discovered that, contrary to its claims, the group was not open to all Nigerians.
It was discovered also that the group, in its quest for continued existence in another guise, had to quickly change its name to Government of Indigenous People of Biafra (GIPB), claiming to have a Council of Elders as its highest decision-making body. According to IPOB leadership, it was under this new name that the group lied to the people that it had attended an African Union (AU) meeting, as well as that of the United Nations (UN).
Some members of IPOB have accused the group of taking its nefarious activities to some markets and public places in Biafraland, extorting money from unsuspecting members of public. They claimed that few days ago, they sighted some members of the group (Bilie/GIPB) at Nkpor junction, Onitsha, speaking to the people.
They had in their company, a European, whose presence attracted curious people that drew near to listen to what they had to say. They asked the people to ignore the Nnamdi Kanu led IPOB and to follow their leadership. They said their group was the only one that was better placed to win Biafra.
When The Biafra Times spoke to Ikechukwu Okoye, IPOB Coordinator in Anambra State, he said they were aware of such moves by BHRI in the state, and were working to thwart all their plans. He used the opportunity to advise the people not to be deceived by such people, and that IPOB was an organised group that was not in the business of going to market places or the social media to solicit for funds.

He further advised the people that seeing a group with a European should not be a reason for them to pay heed to their antics, since white-skinned individuals could be got from anywhere. He went on to assure The Biafra Times that IPOB was working out ways to counter the pranks of the BHRI/GIPB aimed at exploiting the people.

He said there was no way they would lie low and allow people to destroy the integrity IPOB have built over the years. “I am not against any group fighting for Biafra, but I am against any group using the name of IPOB to extort money from Biafrans” he said.
In another development, Uche Mefor, Deputy Director of Radio Biafra, in an elaborate article deposed all the claims of BHRI as being better placed to get Biafra. He told Biafrans to ignore the group since it pledged allegiance to Nigeria and its laws and as such could not successfully fight for Biafra. “BHRI and its ‘SUPREME COUNCIL OF ELDERS’ and their followers are indeed Nigerians in fact and indeed obey the Nigerian law, and therefore coming out to the world to announce that they are freedom fighters and agitators for Biafra makes mockery of the Biafra” he said.
In a recent broadcast, Nnamdi Kanu, the Director of Radio Biafra used the opportunity to assure Biafrans that the impersonators where just wasting their time since they would only remain copies while IPOB remains the original. He words: “People can copy us; people can even pretend to be us, but they can never be like us. We are a golden generation. There was not a generation like this one, and they will never be another like our own”.
Interestingly, it has also been discovered that some individuals have gone on social media claiming to be the Radio Biafra Director and asking people to donate money for the Biafran struggle.

Buhari: Military Offensive against Boko Haram, Anti-north

Gen. Muhammadu Buhari
·          Opposes emergency rule
By John Shiklam in Kaduna

Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) National Leader, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, has criticised the declaration of state of emergency in Adamawa, Borno and Yobe States and the subsequent military offensive against the Boko Haram Islamic sect.

Buhari, who featured on the “Guest of the Week,” a Hausa programme of the Kaduna-based Liberty Radio, yesterday said the federal government’s action was a gross injustice against the north.
According to him, unlike the special treatment the federal government gave to the Niger Delta militants, the Boko Haram members were being killed and their houses demolished.

He said he was not in support of the declaration of state of emergency in the three north-eastern states because President Goodluck Jonathan had failed from the outset in addressing the security situation in the country.

Besides, Buhari added that the security challenges facing the country started in the Niger Delta region where he alleged that politicians desperate to retain their positions as governors recruited youths and armed them to enable them win elections by force.

According to Buhari, who fielded questions in Hausa language before the English version of the programme, “What is responsible for the security situation in the country was caused by the activities of Niger Delta militants.

“Every Nigerian that is familiar with what happened knows this. The Niger Delta militants started it all. What happened is that the governors of the Niger Delta region at that time wanted to win their elections, so they recruited the youths and gave them guns and bullets and used them against their opponents to win elections by force. “After the elections were over, they asked the boys to return the guns, the boys refused to return the guns. Because of that, the allowance that was being given to the youths by the governors during that time was stopped.

“The youths resorted to kidnapping oil workers and were collecting dollars as ransom. Now a boy of 18 to 20 years was getting about $500 in a week, why will he go to school and spend 20 years to study and then come back and get employed by government to be paid N100,000 a month; that is if he is lucky to get employment?

“So kidnapping became very rampant in the south-south and the south-east. They kidnapped people and were collecting money.“How did Boko Haram start? We know that their leader, Mohammed Yusuf, started his militancy and the police couldn’t control them and the army was invited. He was arrested by soldiers and handed over to the police.

“The appropriate thing to do, according to the law, was for the police to carry out investigations and charge him to court for prosecution, but they killed him, his in-law was killed, they went and demolished their houses.“Because of that, his supporters resorted to what they are doing today. “You see in the case of the Niger Delta militants, the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua sent an airplane to bring them, he sat down with them and discussed with them, they were cajoled, and they were given money and granted amnesty.
“They were trained in some skills and were given employment, but the ones in the north are being killed and their houses demolished. They are different issues, what brought this? It is injustice.”

Buhari also explained why he joined politics after his release from detention by former military president, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida, saying that his close associates and those who knew him very well convinced him to join partisan politics. He said those who knew him, knew that he took on positions of responsibility without begging anyone for appointments. “I was a military governor in a state that has been divided into six states today; I was minister of petroleum for four years and six months. I was a military head of state. But because these people know how I live my life, they were not coming to beg me for money. They were coming to ask me to comment on issues that affected the nation,” he added.

He said further that the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991 also shaped his attitude to politics.“When I joined partisan politics in April 2002, in my ward in Daura, (Katsina State), they kept on coming. And then one significant thing at the global level happened, the Soviet Union collapsed.

“Out of the Soviet Union, there are now about 18 or 19 republics and that conclusively proved to me as an individual that the multi-party system is the best form of democracy, but with the big caveat that elections must be free and fair. That is how I arrived in CPC today, but first from APP to ANPP to CPC," he said.
Buhari lamented that God has blessed Nigeria with human and natural resources, but “we have failed to organise ourselves”, stressing that one of the problems bedevilling the country is bad leadership.

C-O-N-F-U-S-I-O-N!!!
Buhari Wears His AU Badge Upside Down.
The Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari was involved in another embarrassment in the on-going African Union Meeting in South Africa, as he wore his Official AU Event Badge upside down.
It took the intervention of Commissioner for Peace and Security of the African Union, Ambassador Smail Chergui from Algeria who saw it and requested Buhari to wear it properly.
One wonders what the official aides and Protocol of President Buhari were doing, that stopped them from noticing that he was not wearing the badge correctly!
