Any Plan to R-Arrest Nnamdi Kanu Will Collapse Nigeria

Any Plan to R-Arrest Nnamdi Kanu Will Collapse Nigeria And The Meeting of South East Governor With Kanu

Biafra: It will be a tragic mistake to rearrest Nnamdi Kanu

– Former Governor, Col. Abubakar Umar

Genny  August 30, 2017
A former Military Administrator of Kaduna State, Col Abubakar Dangiwa Umar, Rtd, has advised the Nigerian Government against the plan to re-arrest the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, and other agitators behind him, saying, ”It will be a tragic mistake to treat them as common criminals.”
Umar gave the warning on Wednesday in a statement he signed and made available to the press.
The former governor buttressed his point by quoting Shiekh Usman Danfodio’s famous speech where he said that “One of the swiftest ways of destroying a kingdom is to give preference to one particular tribe over another, or to show favour to one group of people rather than another, and to draw near those who should be kept away and keep away those that should be drawn near.”
Umar further described the move to re-arrest Nnamdi Kanu as dangerous and politically unwise, adding that the IPOB leader is not a common criminal and should not treated as such.
Umar, now Chairman, Movement for Unity & Progress, MUP, said, “Reports in the media indicate that the Federal government has asked the Federal High Court in Abuja to revoke the bail granted Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and have him rearrested.
“This is both dangerous and politically unwise. Mazi Kanu is not a common criminal as the government appears to think. On the contrary, he is a bitter young man fighting for a fairer deal for his Igbo kinsmen.
“His seeming militant approach is the result of the strong arm tactics with which the Federal Government deals with him. His long incarceration before a court granted him bail testifies to this.
“Like Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, many Igbos genuinely feel marginalized since they belong to the category of those who gave Mr President only 5% of their votes and appeared to have fallen out of his favour.
“President Buhari’s insistence that the unity of Nigeria is a settled issue is a nationalistic wish and is no surprise coming from a veteran of civil war fought to keep the country one.
“However, this does not take into account the mood of the nation as indicated by the growing agitations for self determination, restructuring and many other similar demands.
“If indeed the President is able to ignore and silence those agitators, it will be a case of suspended animation. All indications are that Nigeria has become so polarized that it requires a strong personality like General Buhari to sustain its fragile unity.
“Needless to say that this does not bode well for the survival of the nation.
“Most Nigerians are convinced of the need to maintain Nigeria’s unity, cognisant of the enormous benefits all sections drive from a large, diverse and resource rich country.
“The Federation also provides a security umbrella to all the federating units which enhance their survivability and prosperity.
“It is difficult to see how any of them can fare better out of the federation. But the fact that there are growing agitations for self determination, restructuring and other similar demands speak gravely of the way the federation is being governed.
Nigeria’s unity can only be guaranteed when all its citizens feel they are getting a fair deal; when all its component parts are treated justly and equitably. When none feels oppressed.
“Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Adeyanju and other similar agitators might seem like felons or even anarchists. But as often happens over humanity’s turbulent history, appearances can be deceitful.
“One man’s terrorist could well be another man’s freedom fighter. In any event, despite what the security agencies might feel, there is nothing to fear from Mazi Kanu.
“He and his compatriots are people who love their country dearly and are willing to take a risk with their lives while blowing a whistle on some of our bad habits.
” It will be a tragic mistake to treat them as common criminals. It is evident that they are fighting a cause millions consider entirely legitimate.
“Until our democracy learns to accommodate dissent, vigorous, robust, even if inconvenient, it will be incapable of serving our common good.”

South East governors in meeting with Nnamdi Kanu

Genny  August 30, 2017
Governors of the South-east states are holding a meeting with the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Namdi Kanu.
The meeting, which is being attended by the five governors from the region, is currently going on at the lodge of the Enugu State governor’s lodge in Enugu.
Emmanuel Uzor, the Chief Press Secretary of Ebonyi State Governor David Umahi, revealed this on his Facebook page on Wednesday.
In the post, Mr. Uzor said the call by IPOB for boycott of the November 18 Anambra governorship election was expected to be top of the agenda of the meeting.
This the first meeting Mr. Kanu is holding with the governors and came after he had rebuffed repeated back door overtures to meet with him.
Details later…
BIAFRA IS OUR ONLY HOPE FOR LIBERATION
FROM MODERN SLAVERY
Don't be deceived there is an underground plan to keep those for one NIGERIA under eternal slavery.
Nigerians have failed and are still failing today because most of us have deliberately refused to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
We celebrate losers and fight the true heroes
Nigerians will never stand up and speak in unison against bad leadership even though it is obvious the country have lost its direction. Our leaders know this weakness that is one very reason the take us for granted.
The Northerners in one hand with the collaboration of southern leaders sided with the colonial masters to mortgage our future and that of our future generations when they knew fully well what there people wanted was total independence and freedom from what I call modern or indirect slavery.
We have Nigerians who said they are okay with the president even when people are being butchered by his own people a lot of Nigerians still believe he needs more time to fullfil the promised change which is only but an imagination or a dream never to come to pass.
We still have Nigerians who even though it is obvious much of Nigeria is being eaten up by corruption they still want to return the same corrupt politicians to power at all cost even if it demands there blood.
We also have Nigerians who said till death doth us part we choose to be under the Fulani rule as long as our daily bread is not denied
I am therefore not surprised that some Nigerians choose to remain with PRESIDENT BUHARI and his evil Government in his quest to suppress the truth using his blood thirsty men on uniform to kill innocent civilians to stir up fear and bring an end to opposition in the Nation.
I have heard time without number senseless theories of the in-dissolvable Unity of the Nation by the present Administration which is another political tool employed to hold on to the Economic structure of the Nation by Northern Emirs and Southern collaborators.
We are tired of being labeled thieves and crooks wherever we go all over the world. When you identify yourself as a Nigerian because those who are meant to make things happen for us here have made life so difficult for Nigerians which is one major reason Nigerians seek refuge abroad today.
Nigeria is dead and buried. In fact Nigeria died the day GOODLUCK EBELE JONATHAN HANDED POWER TO THE PRESENT GOVERNMENT.
Where we not warned of the danger ahead. When the told many of us there was a hidden agenda to islamize NIGERIA most of us took it as a mere propaganda. Today that same warning has claimed the lives of thousands who sacrificed there time and resources to vote in the Government of evil change.
President BUHARI has no place in democracy; he is only familiar with the method of intimidation. His style of Government is the same style employed by Isis and other Islamic terrorists groups. Which is use fear to subdue your subject.
I here by call on all my people never to give up in there struggle for BIAFRA it is your right. It is not a crime against any Government. Your hope is in the struggle, that of your children.
MAZI NNAMDI KANU have succeeded in opening the eyes of many to see that all this years the have always believed that politicians are untouchable, while the citizens continue to remain in shame and mediocrity.
My people your freedom is sure.
BIAFRA is your hope, when someone tells you there is hope for a better Nigeria. Rebuke that demon in him or her and the demon will flee.
Those who choose to remain as one NIGERIA are free. But soon the will thank the Igbos for breaking the iron back of slavery.
All HAIL BIAFRA

Time will come when you will run for your guns, to your utmost surprise you would see nothing, because we had those bullets. Teargas will not make us cry anymore because we are used to it. Handcuffs will not hurt our arms anymore. Arrest us, we will gladly accept.

The Indigenous People of Biafra, under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu have vowed that the restoration of Biafra is a mission that must be accomplished whether the Nigerian government likes it or not. It is left for the Nigerian government to wake up from its delusion and understand that Biafra restoration is a task which we have vowed to accomplish.

We have followed the court proceeding and the shameful games being played by the Nigerian government. We monitored their moves and how desperate they have been trying to kill or re-arrest Nnamdi. We are making it clear that if  the Nigerian government persists on playing this game of shame, then we will swing into action. Nigerian government should understand that  we have not applied any other force except our peaceful protest and evangelism which up until today we are being killed and injured. Nevertheless, this time everybody in Nigeria will know how fanatical we are towards the freedom and restoration of our dear country (the sovereign State of Biafra).
It is either we do it in a peaceful way or decide otherwise. We have humbled ourselves, and have waited for the court , but our patience is running out. Do you think that after the clamp down of our people in various ways, places, torture of various kind on our innocent brothers, we will still live as one? The Nigerian government must pay for assault on our people, inhumane, unfair and all manner of evil meted on us. The Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) is not a political party, Social group or opportunists. All the so-called South South and South East governors should henceforth stay clear our ways, and stop arresting and humiliating our people. Biafra restoration is a task that must be accomplished peacefully but if you ever push us to the wall as much as we cannot endure, we will never fail to defend ourselves.

Therefore we are warning the Eastern governors to stop inviting Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for any meeting whatsoever that is not in line with our call for referendum or restoration of Biafra. It is either you join our voice to echo Referendum or you step aside. The Indigenous People Of Biafra still maintain their stand on boycotting Anambra State election and all the elections in Biafra land. No election in Biafra, that is our resolve.

Biafra: Why Buhari And DSS Boss Should Be Arrested – Nnamdi Kanu

By solo123456

Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has said President Muhammadu Buhari and the Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Lawal Daura, should be arrested and detained for disobeying court orders.
Nnamdi Kanu advised those calling for his arrest to direct their anger towards Buhari.
“President Buhari was the one who broke the laws; he disobeyed the direct court order to release me unconditionally, not once, but twice”, he told The Sun.
“Honourable Shuaibu of Wuse magistrate court granted me bail, Buhari did not release me. Justice Ademola granted me unconditional bail, Buhari and his cousin, Lawal Daura, refused to honour that court order.
“They are the ones who should be detained for flagrant disobedience to court orders. I want the northern Arewa irredentists to call for the arrest of Buhari and Daura for flouting court order after court order asking for my release.

“It smacks of hypocrisy and absolute cowardice that people who could not rise up in defence of the law when a court made a judicial pronouncement are now clamouring for my arrest because they believe it is easy to do so.
“Before now, Nnamdi Kanu is Igbo, he is a Biafran and can be arrested and nothing will happen but that would not be anymore, it would no longer happen,” he said.
Nigerian government has approached a court in Abuja to seek the revocation of Kanu’s bail on the grounds that he had violated the conditions under which he was released
